In the embodiment of the application, a communication method and a communication device based on an O-RAN are provided, which can provide a perfect solution for the related process of intelligent processing auxiliary information tasks between Non-RT RIC and Near-RT RIC in the O-RAN, for example, whether the tasks of adding intelligent processing auxiliary information are described in an integrated extraction mode, an extraction mode and the like is increased, so that the characteristics of EiJobObject are complete. After the EiJobObject description is enhanced, the A1 interface creating or updating EI Job process can better meet the requirements of Near-RI RIC, so that the communication efficiency and the management efficiency of intelligent processing of O-RAN are improved.

Detailed Description
For the purposes of making the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present disclosure more apparent, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present disclosure will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure, and it is apparent that the described embodiments are some embodiments of the present disclosure, but not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be made by one of ordinary skill in the art without inventive effort, based on the embodiments in this disclosure are intended to be within the scope of this disclosure.
Fig. 1 shows a general architecture of an O-RAN. As shown in fig. 1, the following functional units are included in the O-RAN.
Radio Unit (RU): for handling low-level physical layer functions.
Distributed Unit (DU): for baseband processing, scheduling, radio link control, medium access control, and processing upper physical layer functions.
Centralized Unit (CU): a function for processing a packet data aggregation protocol layer.
Wherein the Near real-time radio access network intelligent controller (Near real time RAN intelligent controller, near-RT RIC) receives radio resource management (Radio Resource Management, RRM) target requirements, trained artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence, AI) models, intelligent processing auxiliary information from the A1 interface, receives management targets such as operation preferences from the O1 interface (not shown), collects RAN data from the E2 interface, performs correlation operations to obtain corresponding embodiments, and issues the embodiments from the E2 interface.
Non-RT RIC declares to Near-RT RIC the desire for future performance of a particular subject, and Non-RT RIC provides to Near-RT RIC the necessary intelligent processing assistance information (A1 enrichment information, A1-EI).
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of an application scenario according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG. 2, the Near-RT RIC may require that the Non-RT RIC provide intelligent processing assistance information, also referred to as A1 assistance information (A1 enrichment information, A1-EI) as it is communicated over the A1 interface. By way of example and not limitation, the intelligent processing assistance information may include: train schedule information, holiday notification information, and the like.
The Near-RT RIC may also be referred to as an A1-EI user (A1-EI consumer) as a requester for intelligent processing of auxiliary information. Non-RT RICs may also be referred to as A1-EI producers (A1-EI producers) as providers of intelligent processing assistance information.
In general, the acquisition of A1-EI information is accomplished by manipulating the information object EiJobObject of the intelligent process auxiliary information task on the A1 interface using the HTTP PUT method. The HTTP PUT is an operation method of the HTTP protocol on the information object; eiJobObject describes the properties of aspects of the intelligent process auxiliary information task, and the associated processes of the intelligent process auxiliary information task are all extended around the processing of EiJobObject information objects, such as creating, modifying, deleting, etc.
Optionally, the Near-RT RIC may obtain intelligent processing auxiliary information from the Non-RT RIC, obtain radio information of the RAN, and perform intelligent processing, to finally obtain signaling or policy for guiding RAN behavior, and so on.
The application provides a communication method and a communication device based on an O-RAN (radio Access network), which aim to solve the problems that the definition of EiJobObject information object attribute is imperfect and the communication requirement cannot be declared between Non-RT RIC and Near-RT RIC caused by the imperfect definition.
In the embodiment of the application, the communication method and the device based on the O-RAN are provided, a perfect solution can be provided for the related process of the intelligent processing auxiliary information task between the Non-RT RIC and the Near-RT RIC in the O-RAN, and the communication efficiency and the management efficiency of the intelligent processing of the O-RAN can be improved.
The following describes the technical scheme of the present application and how the technical scheme of the present application solves the above technical problems in detail with specific embodiments. The following embodiments may be combined with each other, and the same or similar concepts or processes may not be described in detail in some embodiments. Embodiments of the present application will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 3 is a flow chart of a method of O-RAN-based communication according to an embodiment of the present application. The method may be performed by a Near-RT RIC and a Non-RT RIC. The two can communicate through an A1 interface. As shown in fig. 3, the method includes the following.
S301, a Near-RT RIC sends a creation request message of an intelligent processing auxiliary information task to a Non-RT RIC, and accordingly, the Non-RT RIC receives the creation request message from the Near-RT RIC, wherein the creation request message is used for requesting the task of creating the intelligent processing auxiliary information, the intelligent processing auxiliary information refers to information related to input of artificial intelligent processing, and the creation request message comprises at least one of the following: indicating that the intelligent processing auxiliary information to be extracted is meaning expression information for integrated extraction, identification of the intelligent processing auxiliary information to be extracted and extraction time information.
The meaning representation information is used for indicating that the Non-RT RIC needs to synchronously provide a plurality of intelligent processing auxiliary information, and the operation corresponding to the intelligent processing auxiliary information task is unsuccessful under the condition that the Non-RT RIC cannot synchronously provide at least one intelligent processing auxiliary information in the plurality of intelligent processing auxiliary information; the identification of the intelligent processing auxiliary information to be extracted indicates that the Near-RT RIC requires intelligent processing auxiliary information provided by the Non-RT RIC; the extraction opportunity information is used for indicating the opportunity of the Non-RT RIC to provide intelligent processing auxiliary information.
Alternatively, the Near-RT RIC may request one A1-EI, or may request multiple A1-EIs at the same time, and the case of extracting multiple A1-EIs may be referred to as integrated extraction of A1-EI. In some examples, the meaning of integrated extraction is: all A1-EI needs to be provided synchronously, and when one or more A1-EI cannot be provided, the corresponding information object is considered to be not established, and the corresponding information object operation is not successful. Such as set up, update, etc.
Alternatively, the meaning expression information may take an explicit expression form or an implicit expression form. As an example of implicit expression, in the case that a task description including a plurality of A1-EI in a creation request message is included in a predetermined manner, it may be defaulted that the plurality of A1-EI are provided in an integrated extraction manner. Specific examples may refer to the description below with respect to the A1-EI task description list (eiJobDescriptionList).
The extraction timing information may be used to indicate what conditions are satisfied by the Non-RT RIC to provide intelligent processing auxiliary information to the Near-RT RIC.
Optionally, the timing indicated by the extraction timing information includes at least one of:
the one-time transmission means that intelligent processing auxiliary information is provided for Near-RT RIC only once;
Periodically sending, namely periodically providing intelligent processing auxiliary information to the Near-RT RIC;
event triggering means that after a specific event occurs, intelligent processing auxiliary information is required to be provided for the Near-RT RIC;
the period or event triggering means that intelligent processing auxiliary information needs to be provided for the Near-RT RIC periodically or after a specific event occurs, intelligent processing auxiliary information needs to be provided for the Near-RT RIC;
the post-event periodic transmission means that intelligent processing auxiliary information needs to be provided to the Near-RT RIC periodically after a specific event occurs.
In some examples, if the extraction opportunity corresponding to the above-mentioned intelligent processing auxiliary information is periodic, the extraction opportunity information further includes period description information. For example, in the case where the timing indicated by the extraction timing information is periodic transmission, periodic or event-triggered or post-event periodic transmission, the extraction timing information includes period description information including at least one of: the starting time is used for indicating the starting time of sending the intelligent processing auxiliary information, wherein the default value of the starting time is short of time as soon as possible; a time unit for indicating an interval time unit for transmitting the intelligent processing auxiliary information; the period duration is used for indicating the interval duration for sending the intelligent processing auxiliary information.
Alternatively, the time units may be enumerated. For example, the time units described above may include, but are not limited to: millisecond, second, minute, hour, etc.
In some examples, where the occasion indicated by the extraction occasion information is an event trigger, cycle, or event trigger or post-event cycle transmission, the extraction occasion information includes event description information for indicating at least one event, and where any one of the at least one event occurs, the Non-RT RIC will transmit intelligent processing assistance information to a Near-RT; wherein an event comprises one term or a combination of terms, and an event is considered to occur when all terms in the event are satisfied.
In other words, in the case where the event description information is used to indicate a plurality of events, the relationship between the plurality of events is "or", and in the case where any of the plurality of events occurs, the Non-RT RIC should transmit intelligent processing auxiliary information to the Near-RT RIC.
In some examples, the creation request message includes an identification information list indicating one or more identification information indicating that the Near-RT RIC requires intelligent processing assistance information provided by the Non-RT RIC.
Hereinafter, the meaning information, the identification of the intelligent process auxiliary information, and the content of the extraction timing information will be described in detail with reference to tables 1 to 11.
S302, the Non-RT RIC sends a feedback message to the Near-RT RIC, and accordingly, the Near-RT RIC receives the feedback message sent by the Non-RT RIC, and the feedback message is used for indicating that the intelligent processing auxiliary information task is successfully or unsuccessfully created.
For example, the feedback message may include a creation success message or a creation failure message.
Optionally, after receiving the creation request message of the intelligent processing auxiliary information task, the Non-RT RIC queries whether itself supports the type of the corresponding intelligent processing auxiliary information, whether the intelligent processing auxiliary information can be provided as required by the extraction mode, and so on. If the Non-RI RIC can provide the intelligent processing assistance information of the Near-RT RIC request as required, a create success message can be replied. If the Non-RI RIC cannot provide the intelligent processing assistance information of the Near-RT RIC request on demand, a create failure message may be replied.
Alternatively, as an example, in the HTTP protocol, the creation success message includes a creation success response code and an information object (eijob object) of the intelligent process auxiliary information task that is created successfully. Wherein the creation success response code is used to indicate that the task of creating the intelligent processing auxiliary information is successful, as an example, the creation success response code is 201.
Alternatively, as an example, the creation failure information may include a creation failure response code and/or description information of the creation failure. Wherein the creation failure response code is used to indicate that the task of creating the intelligent processing auxiliary information fails, as an example, the creation failure response code is 400.
Fig. 4 is a flow chart of a method of O-RAN-based communication according to an embodiment of the present application. The method of fig. 4 may be used in an upgrade process for intelligently processing auxiliary information tasks. The method may be performed by a Near-RT RIC and a Non-RT RIC. The two can communicate through an A1 interface. As shown in fig. 4, the method includes the following.
S401, a Near-RT RIC sends an update request message of an intelligent processing auxiliary information task to a Non-RT RIC, wherein the update request message is used for requesting the task of updating the intelligent processing auxiliary information, the intelligent processing auxiliary information refers to information related to input of the artificial intelligent processing, and the update request message comprises at least one of the following: indicating that the intelligent processing auxiliary information to be extracted is meaning expression information for integrated extraction, identification of the intelligent processing auxiliary information to be extracted and extraction time information.
The meaning information in fig. 4, the identification of the intelligent processing auxiliary information to be extracted, and the related content of the extraction timing information are similar to those in fig. 3, and are not repeated here for brevity.
S402, the Non-RT RIC sends a feedback message to the Near-RT RIC, and correspondingly, the Near-RT RIC receives the feedback message sent by the Non-RT RIC, wherein the feedback message is used for indicating success or failure of updating the intelligent processing auxiliary information task.
For example, the feedback message may include an update success message or an update failure message.
Optionally, the Non-RT RIC, after receiving the update request message of the intelligent processing auxiliary information task, queries whether itself supports the corresponding intelligent processing auxiliary information type, whether the intelligent processing auxiliary information can be provided as required by the extraction mode, etc. If the Non-RI RIC can provide the intelligent processing auxiliary information requested by the Near-RT RIC as required, an update success message can be replied. If the Non-RI RIC cannot provide the intelligent processing assistance information requested by the Near-RT RIC on demand, an update failure message may be replied.
Alternatively, as an example, in the HTTP protocol, the update success message includes an update success response code and an information object (eijob object) of the intelligent process auxiliary information task that the update is successful. The update success response code is used for indicating that the task of updating the intelligent processing auxiliary information is successful, and as an example, the update success response code is 200.
Alternatively, as an example, the update failure message may include an update failure response code and/or description information of the update failure. The update failure response code is used for indicating that the task of updating the intelligent processing auxiliary information fails, and the update failure response code is 400.
In the embodiment of the application, whether the EiJobObject is the description of the integrated extraction and the A1-EI extraction mode is supplemented, so that the attribute of the EiJobObject is complete. After enhancing the EiJobObject description, the A1 interface creates or updates the process of intelligently processing auxiliary information tasks to better meet the requirements of the Near-RI RIC. For example, the associated time and event may be well defined. Alternatively, a way of integrally extracting a plurality of A1-EIs may be defined.
In the embodiment of the application, the communication method and the device based on the O-RAN are provided, a perfect solution can be provided for the related process of the intelligent processing auxiliary information task between the Non-RT RIC and the Near-RT RIC in the O-RAN, and the communication efficiency and the management efficiency of the intelligent processing of the O-RAN can be improved.
Next, definitions of the present application concerning eijob object will be described in connection with tables 1 to 11.
Table 1 is a definition of the current EiJobObject at the A1 interface, and as shown in Table 1, the intelligent process auxiliary information task can be defined and managed by the following attribute information.

In table 1, M represents that the attribute information must appear, O represents that the attribute information is an optional appear, and C represents that the attribute information appears as a condition. String represents a String, jobdefinnination represents a task definition of intelligent process assistance information, which attribute is now undefined. The number of occurrences indicates the number of occurrences of the attribute information. The uniform resource identifier (uniform resource identifier, URI) is a string used to identify the resource name.
As shown in table 1, the identification information (eiTypeId) refers to the identification of the intelligent process auxiliary information (A1-EI). The destination URI information (jobResultUri) refers to a destination URI that the Non-RT RIC transmits to the Near-RT RIC after acquiring the intelligent processing assistance information. The job status notification URI information (jobstitusnotificationuri) refers to a destination URI that sends a hint to the Near-RT RIC when the status of the intelligent process assistance information task within the Non-RT RIC changes. The job definition information (jobdivision) is information indicating a need related to the intelligent processing auxiliary information.
Based on table 1, the embodiment of the application perfects eijob object, for example, adds information of intelligent processing auxiliary information as meaning expression information for integrated extraction and information of extraction timing of the intelligent processing auxiliary information.
In some examples, eiJobObject may be represented as an A1-EI task description list (eiJobDescriptionList) that is made up of one or more A1-EI task descriptions (eiJobDescription), as shown in Table 2. The eiJobDescription contained in the eiJobDescriptionList is an integrally extracted relationship, i.e. all eijobdescriptions need to be satisfied simultaneously to mean that the corresponding intelligent process assistance information task process is successful.

Further, eiReportRequirement may include information indicating extraction conditions for intelligent processing assistance information. The scheme includes that after a specific event occurs, the appointed intelligent processing auxiliary information is sent to the Near-RT RIC by the Non-RT RIC, and the appointed intelligent processing auxiliary information periodically occurs and is provided for a plurality of times by the Non-RT RIC.
Post EVENT PERIODIC transmission (period-AFTER-EVENT): refers to the case where the designated intelligent process assistance information periodically appears after a specific event occurs, provided by the Non-RT RIC multiple times.

Fig. 5 is a schematic flow chart of a communication method based on O-RAN according to an embodiment of the present application. The method of fig. 5 is particularly useful in the creation process of intelligent process assistance information. EiJobObject may be operated by HTTP PUT method when Near-RT RIC requires Non-RT RIC to provide intelligent processing assistance information (A1-EI). As shown in fig. 5, the method includes the following.
S501, A1-EI consumer (i.e., near-RT RIC) sends a create request message of EiJobObject to A1-EI producer (i.e., non-RT RIC).
Wherein the A1-EI consumer packages the type of A1-EI to be extracted, the specific extraction mode, etc. to form an EiJobObject, and sends it to the A1-EI producer (i.e., non-RT RIC).
The create request message also includes a task identifier (eiJobId) that may be used to name an intelligent processing auxiliary information task, e.g., eiJobId is indicated in S501 as the corresponding name of the intelligent processing auxiliary information task indicated by eiJobId in the message.
S502, after receiving the creating request message of EiJobObject, the A1-EI producer inquires whether the corresponding A1-EI type is supported or not, whether the listed A1-EI can be provided as required by the extraction mode, and the like. When A1-EI producer can provide all A1-EI as required by the extraction, a response code 201 (Created) is returned to A1-EI consumer with a successful EiJobObject Created.
If the A1-EI producer cannot provide one or more A1-EI according to the requirement of the extraction mode, the A1-EI producer replies corresponding response codes, such as 400 (Bad Request), and the description information can be carried.
Fig. 6 is a flow chart of a method of O-RAN-based communication in accordance with an embodiment of the present application. The method of fig. 6 is particularly useful for intelligently processing the update procedure of the auxiliary information. The method may be performed by a Near-RT RIC and a Non-RT RIC. The two can communicate through an A1 interface. As shown in fig. 6, the method includes the following.
S601, A1-EI consumer (i.e. Near-RT RIC) sends an EiJobObject update request message to A1-EI producer (i.e. Non-RT RIC).
Wherein the A1-EI consumer packages the type of A1-EI to be extracted, the specific extraction mode and the like to form an EiJobObject, and sends the EiJobObject to the A1-EI producer.
Wherein the update request message further includes eiJobId, eiJobId for indicating an intelligent process assistance information task, e.g., eiJobId indicates eijobject to be updated in S601.
S602, an A1-EI producer receives an EiJobObject update request, inquires whether the corresponding A1-EI type is supported by the producer, whether the listed A1-EI can be provided as required by an extraction mode, and the like. When A1-EI producers can provide all A1-EI as required by the extraction scheme, response code 200 (OK) is returned to A1-EI consumer with a successful EiJobObject creation.
If the A1-EI producer cannot provide one or more A1-EI according to the requirement of the extraction mode, the A1-EI producer replies corresponding response codes, such as 400 (Bad Request), and possibly also carries description information.
If the eiJobid in the request is an invalid value, A1-EI producer replies with a response code 404 (Not Found).
Alternatively, eiJobObject defined in embodiments of the present application may be applied to other processes related to A1-E1 tasks in addition to the creation process and the update process of A1-E1 tasks.
Fig. 7 is a schematic structural diagram of an O-RAN-based information processing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present application, which is applied to Near-RT-RIC. The information processing apparatus based on O-RAN provided in this embodiment includes:
a memory 720 for storing a computer program; a transceiver 700 for transceiving data under the control of the processor 710; a processor 710 for reading the computer program in the memory and performing the following operations:

Wherein in fig. 7, a bus architecture may comprise any number of interconnected buses and bridges, and in particular one or more processors represented by processor 710 and various circuits of memory represented by memory 720, linked together. The bus architecture may also link together various other circuits such as peripheral devices, voltage regulators, power management circuits, etc., which are well known in the art and, therefore, will not be described further herein. The bus interface provides an interface. Transceiver 700 may be a number of elements, including a transmitter and a receiver, providing a means for communicating with various other apparatus over a transmission medium, including wireless channels, wired channels, optical cables, etc. The processor 710 is responsible for managing the bus architecture and general processing, and the memory 720 may store data used by the processor 710 in performing operations.
The processor 710 may be a Central Processing Unit (CPU), an application specific integrated circuit (Application Specific Integrated Circuit, ASIC), a Field programmable gate array (Field-Programmable Gate Array, FPGA) or a complex programmable logic device (Complex Programmable Logic Device, CPLD), or it may employ a multi-core architecture.

It should be noted that, the division of the units in the embodiment of the present application is schematic, only one logic function is divided, and another division manner may be implemented in practice. 1. A method of O-RAN-based communication, comprising:
near real-time radio access network intelligent controller Near-RT RIC sends a creation request message for a task of creating intelligent processing assistance information to Non-real-time radio access network intelligent controller Non-RT RIC, the creation request message being used for requesting the task of creating intelligent processing assistance information, the intelligent processing assistance information being information related to input of artificial intelligent processing, the creation request message comprising at least one of: indicating that the intelligent processing auxiliary information to be extracted is meaning representation information for integrated extraction, identification of the intelligent processing auxiliary information to be extracted and extraction time information;
the meaning representation information is used for indicating that the Non-RT RIC needs to synchronously provide a plurality of intelligent processing auxiliary information, and the operation corresponding to the intelligent processing auxiliary information task is unsuccessful under the condition that the Non-RT RIC cannot synchronously provide at least one intelligent processing auxiliary information in the plurality of intelligent processing auxiliary information;
the identification of the intelligent processing auxiliary information to be extracted indicates that the Near-RT RIC requires intelligent processing auxiliary information provided by the Non-RT RIC;
The extraction opportunity information is used for indicating the opportunity of the Non-RT RIC for providing intelligent processing auxiliary information;
and the Near-RT RIC receives a feedback message sent by the Non-RT RIC, wherein the feedback message is used for indicating the success or failure of the establishment of the intelligent processing auxiliary information task.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the extracting the opportunity indicated by the opportunity information comprises at least one of:
the one-time transmission means that intelligent processing auxiliary information is provided for Near-RT RIC only once;
periodically sending, namely periodically providing intelligent processing auxiliary information to the Near-RT RIC;
event triggering means that after a specific event occurs, intelligent processing auxiliary information is required to be provided for the Near-RT RIC;
the period or event triggering means that intelligent processing auxiliary information needs to be provided for the Near-RT RIC periodically or after a specific event occurs, intelligent processing auxiliary information needs to be provided for the Near-RT RIC;
the post-event periodic transmission means that intelligent processing auxiliary information needs to be provided to the Near-RT RIC periodically after a specific event occurs.

The method of claim 2, wherein in the event that the occasion indicated by the extraction occasion information is a periodic transmission, a periodic or event-triggered, post-event periodic transmission, the extraction occasion information comprises period description information comprising at least one of:
The starting time is used for indicating the starting time of sending the intelligent processing auxiliary information, wherein the default value of the starting time is short of time as soon as possible;

the meaning representation information is used for indicating that the Non-RT RIC needs to synchronously provide a plurality of intelligent processing auxiliary information, and the operation corresponding to the intelligent processing auxiliary information task is unsuccessful under the condition that the Non-RT RIC cannot synchronously provide at least one intelligent processing auxiliary information in the plurality of intelligent processing auxiliary information;
the identification of the intelligent processing auxiliary information to be extracted indicates that the Near-RT RIC requires intelligent processing auxiliary information provided by the Non-RT RIC;

and receiving a feedback message sent by the Non-RT RIC, wherein the feedback message is used for indicating the success or failure of the establishment of the intelligent processing auxiliary information task.
