Audio circuitry 606, speakers, and a microphone may provide an audio interface between the user and the electronic device. The audio circuit 606 may transmit the received electrical signal after audio data conversion to a speaker, where the electrical signal is converted to a sound signal for output; on the other hand, the microphone converts the collected sound signals into electrical signals, which are received by the audio circuit 606 and converted into audio data, which are processed by the audio data output processor 608 for transmission via the RF circuit 601 to, for example, another electronic device, or which are output to the memory 602 for further processing. Optionally, the processor 608 may include one or more processing cores; preferably, the processor 608 may integrate an application processor that primarily handles operating systems, user interfaces, applications, etc., with a modem processor that primarily handles wireless communications.
