The main menu key 101 is an original key of the control device 100, and the main menu key 101 corresponds to a key value. In some embodiments, the main menu button 101 may be a menu button, and the key value corresponding to the menu button may be menu.
Fig. 3 shows a block diagram of the configuration of the display device 200 according to an exemplary embodiment.
The display apparatus 200 includes at least one of a tuner demodulator 210, a communicator 220, a detector 230, an external device interface 240, a controller 250, a display 260, an audio output interface 270, a memory, a power supply, and a user interface 280.
In some embodiments, the display apparatus 200 may establish transmission and reception of control signals and data signals with the control apparatus 100 or the server 400 through the communicator 220. In some embodiments, the controller 250 and the modem 210 may be located in different separate devices, that is, the modem 210 may also be located in an external device of the main device where the controller 250 is located, such as an external set-top box. In some embodiments, the controller 250 controls the operation of the display device and responds to user operations through various software control programs stored in memory. The controller 250 controls the overall operation of the display apparatus 200. In some embodiments, the controller 250 includes at least one of a Central Processing Unit (CPU), a video processor, an audio processor, a Graphic Processing Unit (GPU), a RAM (Random Access Memory), a ROM (Read-Only Memory), a first to nth interface for input/output, a communication Bus (Bus), and the like. In some embodiments, the display 260 includes a display screen component for presenting a picture, and a driving component for driving image display, a component for receiving an image signal from the controller 250, performing display of video content, image content, and a menu manipulation interface, and a user manipulation UI interface. In some embodiments, the display 260 may be a liquid crystal display, an OLED display, and a projection display, and may also be a projection device and a projection screen. In some embodiments, the User may enter User commands on a Graphical User Interface (GUI) displayed on the display 260, and the User input Interface receives the User input commands through the GUI. Alternatively, the user may input a user command by inputting a specific sound or gesture, and the user input interface receives the user input command by recognizing the sound or gesture through the sensor. In some embodiments, a "user interface" is a media interface for interaction and information exchange between an application or operating system and a user that enables conversion between an internal form of information and a form that is acceptable to the user. A common presentation form of a user interface is a Graphical User Interface (GUI), which refers to a user interface related to computer operations that is displayed in a graphical manner. It may be an interface element such as an icon, a window, a control, etc. displayed in the display screen of the electronic device, where the control may include at least one of an icon, a button, a menu, a tab, a text box, a dialog box, a status bar, a navigation bar, a Widget, etc. visual interface elements.
In some embodiments, the display device 200 is based on the VIDAA software platform, and as shown in fig. 4, the operating system is divided into three layers, namely, an application layer, a middleware layer, and a hardware layer from top to bottom. The application layer comprises various applications and application frameworks. The middleware layer includes various protocols and components. The hardware layer includes various interfaces as well as hardware and drivers.
In general, the display device 200 stores a mapping table of key values and commands, where the key values in the mapping table include key values corresponding to keys of the control device 100. The mapping relationship table includes a key value corresponding to a main menu key 101 of the control device 100, and an instruction corresponding to the key value is to display the main menu. Thus, if the user presses the main menu key 101, the control device 100 transfers a corresponding key value to the display device 200. After receiving the key value, the display device 200 directly displays the main menu based on the stored mapping relationship table. Referring to the main menu 500 shown in fig. 5, as shown in fig. 5, the main menu 500 includes a plurality of system setting items of the display device 200, such as Headphone Volume (headset Volume), subtitle (Subtitle), HDMI Format (Format), game Mode (Game Mode), audio Only (Audio Only), settings (Settings). The user can set system parameters based on these system setting items. It can be seen that such a "one-key display" manner, that is, setting the main menu key 101 on the control device 100, and directly displaying the main menu according to the main menu key 101 by the display device 200, can greatly facilitate the setting operation of the system parameters by the user.
When the user plays a game using the display device 200, that is, when the display device 200 displays a game screen, the user is more inclined to set game parameters related to the game. The options for setting the game parameters may be referred to as game setting items, and the menu including the game setting items is a game setting item menu. The user can select a game setting item corresponding to a game parameter to be set based on the game setting item menu to set the game parameter.
Typically, the entry to the game setting item menu is provided in the main menu. Wherein the display apparatus 200 displays a main menu including entries of a game setting item menu when a specified condition is satisfied. In some embodiments, the specified condition may be: the display apparatus 200 detects the access to the HDMI apparatus 400, and/or the display apparatus 200 listens to start the game application. For example: as shown in fig. 4, the display device 200 may recognize whether an HDMI device is connected through a HDMI/Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) module in the middleware layer. The display apparatus 200 may dynamically listen through the application layer whether to start the game application.
In some embodiments, a main menu including entries for a menu of game settings items may refer to main menu 600 shown in FIG. 6. Main menu 600 differs from main menu 500 in that main menu 600 also includes an entry to the Game settings menu, i.e., the Game settings Bar (Game Bar) option. If the user wants to browse the Game setting item menu, the user needs to first control the display device 200 to display the main menu 600, and then enter the Game setting item menu based on the Game Bar option in the main menu 600. It can be seen that the operation path for the user to control the display device 200 to display the game setting item menu is cumbersome. When the user controls the display device 200 to display the game setting item menu, the user is delayed from playing the game, which results in poor experience of the user.
In order to solve the above problem, embodiments of the present application provide a method for displaying a menu on a game screen. When the display device 200 displays a game screen, the display device 200 may directly display a game setting item menu instead of a main menu after receiving a key value transmitted by a user based on the main menu key 101 of the control device 100 when a preset condition is satisfied. After receiving the key value, the display device 200 may display the corresponding menu according to the flow shown in fig. 7, which includes the following specific steps:
and S701, receiving a key value sent by the control equipment.
The display device 200 displays a game screen. The data source of the game screen may be the HDMI device 400, i.e., the data of the game screen is provided by the HDMI device 400. The data source of the game screen may also be a game application, i.e. the data of the game screen is provided by the game application.
In the embodiment of the present application, there is a channel between each data source and the display device 200, and the channel has a data storage function. The channel between the HDMI device 400 and the display device 200 corresponds to the HDMI interface, that is, the channel stores data generated when the HDMI interface is connected to the HDMI device 400, and when the HDMI device 400 is disconnected from the HDMI interface, the data of the channel is cleared. The channel between the game application and the display device 200 corresponds to the game application, i.e., the channel stores data generated after the game application is started. In the embodiment of the present application, a channel corresponding to a data source of a game screen currently displayed by the display device 200 is referred to as a target channel.
The display device 200 receives a key value transmitted by a user based on the main menu key 101 of the control device 100 while displaying a game screen.
S702, according to the key value, whether the target channel marks the first identification is identified.
In this embodiment, the display device 200 marks different identifiers for channels corresponding to data sources based on the data storage function of the channels. The identifier is used to indicate a mapping relationship between the key value and the displayed menu, and the display device 200 temporarily constructs a new mapping relationship between the key value and the displayed menu (instruction) by marking a different identifier for the channel. And then the display device 200 displays the corresponding menu according to the new mapping relationship indicated by the identifier after receiving the key value, instead of displaying the main menu based on the indiscriminate mapping relationship between the key value and the main menu in the originally stored mapping relationship table. Therefore, the effect that the display device 200 directly displays the game setting item menu according to the key value when the preset condition is satisfied can be achieved.
In some embodiments, the display device 200 includes a first identifier for the identifier of the channel indicia. The first identification is used for indicating a first mapping relation between the key value and the game setting item menu. That is, when the channel marks the first identifier, the display device 200 directly displays the game setting item menu according to the key value and the first identifier, instead of displaying the main menu.
In some embodiments, the indication that the display device 200 marks for the channel further includes a second indication. The second identifier is used for indicating a second mapping relation between the key value and the main menu. The second mapping relationship is consistent with the mapping relationship between the key value and the main menu displayed in the originally stored mapping relationship table, and based on the second identifier, the display device 200 can more quickly and accurately determine the mapping relationship between the key value and the main menu. It should be noted that the first identifier and the second identifier are mutually exclusive identifiers, that is, only one identifier can be marked in one channel at the same time. That is, when the channel marks the second identifier, the display device 200 directly displays the main menu according to the key value and the second identifier.
In some embodiments, the first identifier may be a "1" and the second identifier may be a "0". The first identifier and the second identifier have corresponding flag bits.
The display apparatus 200 marks the first identifier for the target channel when a preset condition is satisfied, where the preset condition is that the display apparatus 200 has/has not received an instruction of a specified type when displaying a game screen corresponding to a data source of the specified type.
The types of data sources include designated HDMI devices, non-designated HDMI devices, and gaming applications. The designated HDMI device is an HDMI device having a designated model and a designated type. For example: a fifth generation game Station (Play Station5, PS 5), microsoft first generation game console (Xbox), and the like. The unspecified HDMI device is an HDMI device other than the specified HDMI device.
The instructions for the display device 200 to mark the first identification reference include: a first instruction and a second instruction. The first instruction is an instruction input by a user based on a menu option in a game setting item menu, and the first instruction is used for indicating and displaying a main menu. The second instruction is an instruction input by the user based on a Game setting item option in the main menu (an entry of the Game setting item menu, such as the Game Bar option in the main menu 600), and the second instruction is used to instruct display of the Game setting item menu.
In some embodiments, the preset condition may be: the data source is a designated HDMI device, and the display device 200 does not receive the first instruction when displaying the game screen corresponding to the designated HDMI device, that is, the user never inputs an instruction based on the menu option in the game setting item menu to instruct to display the main menu.
The preset conditions may also be: the data source is a non-designated HDMI device, and the display device 200 receives, when displaying a game screen corresponding to the non-designated HDMI device, a second instruction that the user has input an instruction based on the game setting item option in the main menu to instruct to display the game setting item menu.
The preset conditions may also be: the data source is a game application, and the display device 200 receives a second instruction that the user has input an instruction based on the game setting item option in the main menu to instruct to display the game setting item menu when displaying a game screen corresponding to the game application.
S703, if the first mark is marked, displaying a game setting item menu on the game picture.
If the display device 200 recognizes the first identifier of the target channel mark, the display device 200 directly displays a game setting item menu on the game screen according to the first mapping relationship indicated by the key value and the first identifier.
S704, if the first identification is not marked, displaying a main menu on the game picture.
If the display device 200 recognizes that the target channel is not marked with the first identifier, for example, the display device 200 recognizes that the target channel is marked with the second identifier, the display device 200 directly displays the main menu on the game screen according to the second mapping relationship indicated by the key value and the second identifier.
Based on the game screen display method provided by the embodiment of the application, the display device 200 sets the first identifier having a corresponding relationship with the game setting item menu for the channel corresponding to the data source of the game screen, so that when receiving the key value sent by the user based on the main menu button 101 of the control device, the game setting item menu is directly displayed, thereby effectively simplifying the operation of the user for controlling the display device to display the game setting item menu, and improving the use experience of the user.
When the display device 200 displays game screens of different data sources, if a key value sent by a user based on the main menu key 101 of the control device 100 is received for the first time, a menu may be displayed according to the flow shown in fig. 8, which includes the following specific steps:
s801, identifying the type of the data source.
After displaying the game screen, if the display device 200 receives the key value for the first time, the display device 200 identifies the type of the data source corresponding to the game screen, where the type of the data source may refer to the type of the data source in step S702, and details are not repeated here.
In some embodiments, if the display device 200 recognizes the accessing HDMI device 400, the type of HDMI device 400 may be further recognized by the HDMI/CEC module to determine whether the accessing HDMI device 400 is a designated HDMI device.
S802, displaying a corresponding menu according to the type of the data source.
Where, S8021, if the data source is the designated HDMI device, the display device 200 displays the game setting item menu on the game screen, and marks the first identification for the target channel.
The designated HDMI device has strong scene specificity, and it can be considered that the display device 200 is in a game state when the designated HDMI device is used, and at this time, the menu to be used by the user is more inclined to the game setting item menu related to the game. Thus, to simplify user operations, the display device 200 may be configured to: when a game screen corresponding to a designated HDMI device is displayed, even if the key value is received for the first time, the game setting item menu is directly displayed on the game screen.
The display device 200 also marks a first identifier for a target channel corresponding to the designated HDMI device, so as to temporarily construct a first mapping relationship between the key value and the game setting item menu. Thus, it can be ensured that the display device 200 receives the key value again, and the game setting item menu can still be directly displayed to continue to ensure the convenience of the user operation.
S8022, if the data source is a non-designated HDMI device, the display device 200 displays a main menu on the game screen, and marks a second identifier for the target channel.
The scene corresponding to the unspecified HDMI device is to be determined, and it may be considered that when the unspecified HDMI device is used, the display device 200 cannot accurately determine that the HDMI device is currently in a game state, and at this time, the display device 200 needs to further identify the scene where the HDMI device is located based on an instruction sent by a user to the display device 200. Since the HDMI devices of the game category are of a small variety, i.e. most non-designated HDMI devices are not of the game category, the menu to be used by the user is more prone to the main menu related to the system parameters. Thus, to simplify user operations, the display device 200 may be configured to: when displaying the game picture corresponding to the non-appointed HDMI device, if the key value is received for the first time, the main menu is directly displayed on the game picture.
The display device 200 further marks a second identifier for a target channel corresponding to the non-specified HDMI device, so as to temporarily construct a second mapping relationship between the key value and the main menu. Therefore, the display device 200 can be ensured to receive the key value again, and the main menu can still be directly displayed so as to continuously ensure the common use requirements of the user.
S8023, if the data source is a game application, the display apparatus 200 displays a main menu on the game screen, and marks a second identifier for the target channel.
Although the scene corresponding to the game application has a strong pertinence, after the game application is started, whether the displayed game picture is a picture in a game, that is, whether the user is actually in a game state needs to be further identified by the display device 200 based on an instruction sent by the user to the display device 200. To fit the general usage needs of the user, the display device 200 may be configured to: when displaying the game picture corresponding to the game application, if the key value is received for the first time, the main menu is directly displayed on the game picture.
The display device 200 further marks a second identifier for a target channel corresponding to the game application, so as to temporarily construct a second mapping relationship between the key value and the main menu. Therefore, the display device 200 can be ensured to receive the key value again, and the main menu can still be directly displayed so as to continuously ensure the common use requirements of the user.
The display device 200 displays a corresponding menu based on the received different types of instructions (the first instruction or the second instruction) at a later time, and modifies the identification of the target channel according to the type of the instruction and the type of the data source.
The process of displaying the menu and modifying the logo after receiving the instruction under the game screen of the display device 200 based on different data sources will be described with reference to the following embodiments.
Example 1

The display device 200 directly displays a game setting item menu1002 on the screen a, as shown in (5) in fig. 10, based on the key value and the first identifier of the target channel current mark.
The display device 200 can determine that the menu to be used by the user is still more inclined to the game setting item menu1002 according to the key value. Therefore, the display device 200 does not need to modify the first identifier of the target channel, so that when the display device 200 receives the key value again, the game setting item menu1002 is still directly displayed, the requirements of the user are better met, and the user operation is simplified.
Example 2
In embodiment 2, the data source is a non-specified HDMI device. After S8022, the display apparatus 200 may display the menu and the modification flag according to the flow shown in fig. 11. Taking the unspecified HDMI device as PS2, the game screen provided by PS2 as screen B, the control device 100 as a remote controller, and the key value corresponding to the main menu key 1001 as menu as an example, with reference to the interaction diagram shown in fig. 12, a specific description is made:
as shown in (1) in fig. 12, the display apparatus 200 displays a screen B. The user sends a key value menu based on a main menu key 1201 of the remote controller for the first time, and the display apparatus 200 directly displays a main menu 1202 as shown in (2) in fig. 12 on the screen B according to the key value menu, and the main menu 1202 includes a game setting item 12021 option. The above process can refer to S801-S8022, which is not described herein.
S1101, if a second instruction is received.
As shown in (2) in fig. 12, the user moves the focus to the game setting item 12021 option (the focus is shown in gray) by manipulating the remote controller, and based on the second instruction input by the game setting item 12021 option.
And S1102, responding to the second instruction, displaying a game setting item menu, and modifying the second identifier of the target channel into the first identifier.
The display device 200 displays a game setting item menu 1203 on the screen B as shown in (3) in fig. 12 in response to the second instruction.
The display device 200 may determine, based on the second instruction, that the menu to be used by the user is more inclined to the game setting item menu 1203. Therefore, in response to the second instruction, the display device 200 further modifies the second identifier of the target channel into the first identifier to reconstruct the first mapping relationship between the key value and the game setting item menu 1203, so that when the display device 200 receives the key value again, the game setting item menu 1203 is directly displayed to better meet the requirements of the user, and the user operation is simplified.
S1103, if a key value is received.
As shown in (4) in fig. 12, the user transmits the key value to the display apparatus 200 by pressing a main menu key 1201 on the remote controller.
And S1104, displaying the main menu according to the key value and the second identifier.
The display device 200 directly displays a main menu 1202 on the screen B according to the key value and the second identifier of the current mark of the target channel, as shown in (5) in fig. 12.
According to the key value, the display apparatus 200 can determine that the menu to be used by the user is still more inclined to the main menu 1202. Therefore, the display device 200 does not need to modify the second identifier of the target channel, so that when the display device 200 receives the key value again, the main menu 1202 is still directly displayed, and the requirements of the user are met.
In some embodiments, if display device 200 receives a third instruction, which is an instruction input by the user based on the menu option in the game setting item menu, display device 200 displays main menu 1202 on the game screen. Display device 200, based on this third instruction, may determine that the menu to be used by the user is more inclined to main menu 1202. Therefore, in response to the third instruction, the display device 200 modifies the first identifier of the target channel into the second identifier again to reconstruct the second mapping relationship between the key value and the main menu 1202, so that when the display device 200 receives the key value again, the main menu 1202 is directly displayed to better meet the requirements of the user.
Example 3
Based on embodiments 1 and 2, if the display apparatus 200 simultaneously connects a specified HDMI apparatus and a non-specified HDMI apparatus, the user can switch to use the specified HDMI apparatus or the non-specified HDMI apparatus. After the user indicates to use the specified HDMI device, the process of displaying the menu and modifying the identifier of the target channel corresponding to the specified HDMI device by the display device 200 based on different instructions sent by the user may refer to embodiment 1, which is not described herein again. After the user indicates to use the non-specified HDMI device, the process of displaying the menu and modifying the identifier of the target channel corresponding to the non-specified HDMI device by the display device 200 based on different instructions sent by the user may refer to embodiment 2, which is not described herein again.
Example 4
In embodiment 4, the data source is a gaming application. After S8023, the display apparatus 200 may display the menu and the modification flag according to the flow shown in fig. 13. Taking a game application as App1, a game picture provided by App1 as a picture C, a control device 100 as a remote controller, and a key value corresponding to a main menu key 1001 as menu as an example, a specific description is made by combining an interaction diagram shown in fig. 14:
as shown in (1) in fig. 14, the display apparatus 200 displays a screen C. The user first sends a key value menu based on a main menu key 1401 of the remote controller, and the display device 200 directly displays a main menu 1402 as shown in (2) in fig. 14 on a screen C according to the key value menu, the main menu 1402 including a game setting item 14021 option. The above process can refer to S801-S8023, which is not described herein.
S1301, if the second instruction is received.
As shown in (2) in fig. 14, the user moves the focus to the game setting item 14021 option (the focus is shown in gray) by manipulating the remote controller, and based on the second instruction input from the game setting item 14021 option.
S1302, responding to the second instruction, displaying a game setting item menu, and modifying the second identification of the target channel into the first identification.
The display device 200 displays a game setting item menu 1403 on the screen C as shown in (3) in fig. 14 in response to the second instruction.
The display device 200 may determine that the menu to be used by the user is more inclined to the game setting item menu 1403 based on the second instruction. Therefore, in response to the second instruction, the display device 200 further modifies the second identifier of the target channel into the first identifier to reconstruct the first mapping relationship between the key value and the game setting item menu 1403, so that when the display device 200 receives the key value again, the game setting item menu 1403 is directly displayed, the requirements of the user are better met, and the user operation is simplified.
S1303, if a key value is received.
As shown in (4) in fig. 14, the user transmits the key value to the display apparatus 200 by pressing a main menu key 1401 on the remote controller.
And S1304, displaying a main menu according to the key value and the second identifier.
The display device 200 directly displays a main menu 1402 on the screen C according to the key value and the second identifier of the current mark of the target channel, as shown in (5) in fig. 14.
The display apparatus 200 can determine that the menu to be used by the user is still more inclined to the main menu 1401 according to the key value. Therefore, the display device 200 does not need to modify the second identifier of the target channel, so that when the display device 200 receives the key value again, the main menu 1402 is still directly displayed, and the requirements of the user are met.
In some embodiments, if the display device 200 starts a plurality of game applications, the game screen is provided by the plurality of game applications. Taking App1 and App2 as an example when the display device 200 starts up, the user can switch to use App1 or App2. After the user indicates to use App1 or App2, the process of the display device 200 displaying the menu and modifying the identifier of the target channel corresponding to the specified HDMI device based on different instructions sent by the user may refer to embodiment 4, which is not described herein again.
In some embodiments, if the display device 200 starts a plurality of game applications, the display device 200 may display a menu corresponding to a key value according to the flow shown in fig. 15, which includes the following specific steps:
s1501, if a key value is received.
Step S1303 may be referred to, and will not be described herein.
S1502, whether the game application is the target game application is identified according to the key value.
The first identifier and the second identifier are cache data, so that if each game application stores the first identifier or the second identifier correspondingly, more memory is occupied. Moreover, if the display device 200 identifies each game application, it also occupies more computing resources, consumes a certain identification time, and results in a long waiting time before displaying the menu, for example: and (5) stopping.
In order to solve the above problem, a game application that performs identification recognition, i.e., a target game application, may be specified. In some embodiments, the target gaming application may be the one that has been most recently run by the display device 200, and the corresponding target channel is marked with a first identification of N (N being a positive integer greater than 0) gaming applications.
The target game application can be the first N game applications with the first identification from near to far according to the starting sequence. For example: if the display device 200 sequentially starts App1, app2 and App3, wherein target channels corresponding to App1, app2 and App3 all have first identifiers, and if N =2 is set, the target game applications are App3 and App2.
The target gaming application may be the first N gaming applications from near to far in order of use. For example: if the user uses App1, app2 and App3 in sequence, wherein target channels corresponding to App1 and App2 are provided with first marks, and if N =1 is set, the target game application is App2.
And S1503, if the game application is the target game application, displaying a game setting item menu according to the key value and the first identifier.
If the display device 200 determines that the current game application is the target game application, a game setting item menu is displayed according to the key value and the first identifier.
S1504, if the game application is not the target game application, displaying a main menu, and modifying the first identifier of the target channel into a second identifier.
If the display device 200 determines that the current game application is not the target game application, i.e. that the current game application is old and unused, or has been started too early, it is also necessary for the display device 200 to further determine, based on subsequent actions by the user, whether the first identifier recorded for the game application can actually represent the user's needs, i.e. the first identifier corresponds to a failure. Thus, the display apparatus 200 selects to directly display the main menu more in conformity with the user's general use requirement, and modifies the first identifier of the target channel into the second identifier.
Therefore, the display efficiency of the menu can be effectively improved, and the fact that the identification corresponding to the game application is closer to the real requirement of the user can be effectively guaranteed.
In some embodiments, if display device 200 receives a third instruction, which is an instruction input by the user based on the menu option in the game setting item menu, display device 200 displays main menu 1402 on the game screen. Based on this third instruction, display device 200 may determine that the menu to be used by the user is more inclined to main menu 1402. Therefore, in response to the third instruction, the display device 200 modifies the first identifier of the target channel into the second identifier again to reconstruct the second mapping relationship between the key value and the main menu 1402, so that when the display device 200 receives the key value again, the main menu 1402 is directly displayed to better meet the requirements of the user.
Example 5
Based on embodiments 1 to 4, if the display apparatus 200 accesses at least one designated HDMI device, at least one non-designated HDMI device, and starts at least one game application. After the user specifies a data source, the display device 200 displays a corresponding menu and modifies the identifier of the corresponding target channel after receiving different instructions of the user based on the specified data source, which may refer to embodiments 1 to 4 and is not described herein again.
If the display device 200 displays the game setting item menu, for example, the display device 200 receives the key value and recognizes that the target channel mark first identification. Alternatively, the display apparatus 200 receives the second instruction. Still alternatively, the display apparatus 200 receives the third instruction. The display device 200 may display the game setting item menu according to the flow shown in fig. 16, which includes the following specific steps:
s1601, a first setting item and a second setting item are acquired.
The first setting item is a non-system setting item corresponding to the game screen, that is, a setting item dedicated to setting game parameters.
The second setting item is a system setting item corresponding to the game screen, that is, a setting item related to setting of game parameters among the system setting items.
In some embodiments, the first setting item and the second setting item may include: frame rate (FPS), dolby vision (Dolby Version), dynamic refresh rate (Free Sync), night vision Detail (Dark Detail), aspect Ratio (Aspect Ratio), screen Position (Screen Position), brightness (Brightness), and the like.
Where FPS represents the number of frames per second currently being transmitted by the display device 200. Mainly determined by the GPU, CPU, memory, etc. of the display device 200, the hardware capability of the current display device 200 is truly reflected. When the switch of the FPS option is turned on, the current FPS value of the display device 200 is displayed in real time when the game screen is entered.
The dolby vision is a High Dynamic Range Imaging (HDR) technology, and the HDR function is to suppress a strong light part from being overexposed through internal processing of a machine, and to promote a weak light part to have a certain level, so that an image of a dark part can be made clear when processing images with different light and shade.
The dynamic Refresh Rate is a Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology, and is realized by embedded and external DisplayPort panels, so that the communication problem between a processor and a display is solved, image tearing and fluctuation are eliminated, and smooth game experience is easily realized. When the display device 200 supports the VRR technology of FreeSync, the user can manually control the switching of the dynamic refresh rate option.
Night vision details can improve the brightness of the game picture in a dark night scene. After the switch of the night vision detail option is turned on, the brightness of the dark night scene in the game picture can be improved.
The aspect ratio may be used to adjust the aspect ratio of the game screen. Since many image scales can be set in the whole machine to stretch or zoom the picture, in some embodiments, two aspect ratios best suited to the game picture, such as 16.
The screen position is used for setting the display position of the game picture in the whole display screen. For example: after the user selects the aspect ratio, if the game picture cannot fill the whole display screen, the display position of the game picture in the display screen, such as Top, middle, bottom, etc., can be provided for the user to select.
The brightness is used for adjusting the overall brightness of the screen, and the user can select the screen brightness suitable for the user.
In some embodiments, different data sources may correspond to the same first setting item and second setting item. Different data sources can also correspond to different first setting items and second setting items based on different game pictures.
S1602, displaying the game setting item menu.
The game setting item menu comprises the acquired first setting item and the second setting item. With the above embodiment, after the display device 200 acquires the first setting item and the second setting item corresponding to the game screen, the game setting item menu is displayed. Taking the game setting item menu1002, the game setting item menu 1203, and the game setting item menu 1403 as an example, reference may be made to the game setting item menu shown in fig. 17, which includes setting items in order from left to right: frame rate, dolby horizon, dynamic refresh rate, night vision details, aspect ratio, screen position, brightness.
In some embodiments, the setting items are configured to: the display apparatus 200 adjusts the opening and closing of the corresponding setting item, or adjusts the value of the corresponding setting item, etc., in response to the "up" key value and the "down" key value transmitted by the control apparatus 100. As with the FPS option in fig. 17, when the user manipulates the control device 100 to place focus on the FPS option, the FPS option presents a highlight box 1701 as shown in fig. 17 to present to the user that the FPS is currently being adjusted. The user can control the turn-on and turn-off of the display switch of the FPS by manipulating the up key and the down key of the control device 100.
In some embodiments, the display apparatus 200 may acquire the first setting item and the second setting item each time the game setting item menu is displayed.
In some embodiments, the display device 200 may store the target channels corresponding to the first setting item and the second setting item after the first setting item and the second setting item are acquired for the first time. Therefore, if the display device 200 needs to display the game setting item menu again under the target channel, the stored first setting item and the second setting item can be directly acquired based on the target channel without re-acquisition, so that the display efficiency of the game setting item menu is improved.
When playing games, users usually pay attention to the fluency and definition of the games, and therefore, the FPS is an important parameter of game pictures. The FPS can be dynamically refreshed or manually adjusted only when the user accurately grasps the FPS when the game picture is displayed, so that the display effect of the game picture can better meet personal requirements.
In order to solve the above problem, the display device 200 may display a corresponding FPS on the game screen according to the flow shown in fig. 18, including the following specific steps:
s1801, monitoring whether a game screen is displayed.
The FPS is always positioned in the picture, and whether the user perceives the specific information of the FPS can be controlled through display and hiding. In some embodiments, the display device 200 may monitor whether a currently displayed picture is a game picture through the UI layer and perform setting through a Video module in the middleware layer. That is, when the game screen is monitored to be displayed, the FPS is displayed, and when the game screen is not monitored to be displayed, the FPS is not displayed (hidden).
The game picture is displayed on the topmost layer of the picture layer and is visible to a user. If the game is quitted or the game is run in the background, the game picture is not displayed.
S1802, if a game screen is displayed, displaying first frame rate information on the game screen.
The first frame rate information is frame rate information of the game screen, that is, a frame rate at which the display apparatus 200 matches the game screen according to parameters such as a game mode. As shown in (1) of fig. 19, if the game screen is screen E, the display apparatus 200 displays first frame rate information, such as 120FPS, on the screen E.
S1803, if the game screen is not displayed, hiding the second frame rate information.
The second frame rate information is frame rate information of a currently displayed screen, that is, a frame rate that the display apparatus 200 matches for the currently displayed screen according to the system parameter. As shown in (2) of fig. 19, if the currently displayed screen is the screen F, the display apparatus 200 matches the second frame rate information, for example, 60FPS, for the screen F, but does not display the second frame rate information on the screen F, i.e., hides the second frame rate information.
In some embodiments, if the display apparatus 200 again listens to display of the game screen, such as screen E, and matches the first frame rate information, such as 120FPS, for screen E. As shown in (3) in fig. 19, the display apparatus 200 again displays 120FPS on the screen E.
The foregoing description, for purposes of explanation, has been presented in conjunction with specific embodiments. However, the foregoing discussion in some embodiments is not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the embodiments to the precise forms disclosed above. Many modifications and variations are possible in light of the above teaching. The embodiments were chosen and described in order to best explain the present disclosure and to enable others skilled in the art to best utilize the embodiments.
