Abstract

Optionally, the terminal computing resource information includes at least one of a position of the terminal, a CPU occupancy rate of a central processing unit, a GPU occupancy rate of a graphics processor, and a memory occupancy rate;
the server computing resource information comprises: at least one of the supportable task connection number, CPU occupancy rate, GPU occupancy rate, memory occupancy rate, resource form and server position;
the mobile network computing power resource information comprises: at least one of current network hardware infrastructure resources, current network load, and resource usage rates of computing power nodes in the current network.
In the embodiment of the application, by enhancing the management of the computation power resource information supported by the NWDAF function and providing the routing policy suggestion for the PCF, the PCF can update the computation power configuration policy according to the routing policy suggestion, so that the core network supports the management and decision of the computation resources.
The first embodiment is as follows: and reporting the computation power information of the terminal carried by the terminal (such as User Equipment (UE)) to the NWDAF.
Referring to fig. 3, the specific steps include:
step 301: after the registration process of the UE is completed, the UDM reports terminal computing power resource information (real-time terminal computing power resource information) of the UE to the NWDAF;
or, the predicted terminal computing power resource information is reported through step 301, or the historical terminal computing power resource information is reported.
Step 302: after a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session establishment flow, the AMF sends a first request message to the NWDAF, wherein the first request message is used for requesting to distribute a routing strategy for UE with a computing power demand service, and the first request message carries real-time terminal computing power resource information of the UE;
step 303: the NWDAF carries out analysis and routing decision suggestion according to the currently acquired computing power resource information, wherein the mode of acquiring the computing power resource information comprises at least one of the following modes: (1) Reporting the calculated power resource information to NWDAF through the UE carrying the terminal; (2) Registering to AF through a server, and reporting to NWDAF through NEF; (3) The OAM (or OMC) acquires the global hardware resource and the resource utilization rate of the current computing power node, such as CPU occupancy rate and/or storage occupancy rate.
The NWDAF allocates routing strategy suggestions to the UE with the power calculation service requirements by maintaining a group of power calculation routing tables serving the UE with different power calculation requirements, and periodically performs power calculation configuration strategy analysis suggestions to the PCF, the PCF performs power calculation configuration strategy updating, and the power calculation configuration strategy comprises at least one of position information and a transmission path of selected SMFs and UPFs and corresponding servers.
Step 304: the NWDAF sends the routing policy proposal to the PCF.
Step 305: and the PCF sends a calculation force configuration strategy to the AMF, wherein the calculation force configuration strategy comprises at least one item of position information and transmission paths of the selected SMF, the UPF and the corresponding server.
Example two: registered to the AF through the server and reported to the NWDAF through the NEF.
Referring to fig. 4, the specific steps include:
step 401: in the process of application initial registration, the address of a Server (Server) providing service and Server computing resource information (real-time Server computing resource information) of the Server are reported to the NEF.
Or, the predicted server computing resource information is reported through step 401, or the historical server computing resource information is reported.
Optionally, the server computing resource information includes at least one of: the number of supportable task connections, the capabilities of the provisioning of CPU, memory, resource form (physical/virtual) deployment location, etc.
Step 402: the NEF replies an AF receiving response;
step 403: the NEF synchronizes the server computing resource information to the NWDAF;
step 404: the NWDAF replies with a receiving response;
step 405: the NWDAF can provide comprehensive analysis of computational resource functions and give routing decisions by carrying out the whole network based on the updated data.
Example three: and acquiring the resource utilization rate of the global hardware resource and the current computational power node by OAM (or OMC).
Referring to fig. 5, the specific steps include:
step 501: the NWDAF periodically requests mobile network computing resource information (real-time mobile network computing resource information) from the OAM.
Optionally, the mobile network computing resource information includes: the resource utilization rate of the whole network hardware infrastructure resource in the OMC and the current computing power nodes, such as CPU occupancy rate and/or storage occupancy rate and the like).
Step 502: the OAM synchronizes the information to the NWDAF.
Or reporting the predicted mobile network computing power resource information or reporting the historical mobile network computing power resource information through the step 502.
Step 503: the NWDAF can provide comprehensive analysis of computational resource functions and give routing decisions by carrying out the whole network based on the updated data.
It is to be understood that, in the first embodiment, the second embodiment and the third embodiment, the NWDAF may also predict the predicted terminal power resource information, the predicted server power resource information and the predicted mobile network power resource information in a future period of time according to the historical terminal power resource information, the server power resource information and the mobile network power resource information.
Referring to fig. 6, an embodiment of the present application provides an apparatus for management and decision-making of computing resources based on NWDAF, where the apparatus 600 includes:
a first obtaining module 601, configured to obtain computing resource information, where the computing resource information includes at least one of terminal computing resource information, server computing resource information, mobile network computing resource information, computing resource prediction information, and computing resource history information;
a processing module 602, configured to allocate a routing policy suggestion to a terminal with a computing power service requirement according to the computing power resource information, or according to the computing power resource information and the type and/or priority of a computing power node;
a first sending module 603, configured to send the routing policy suggestion to a PCF, where the routing policy suggestion is used to assist the PCF in performing a computation power configuration policy update.
Optionally, the calculation force configuration policy includes: at least one of location information of a target network element and a transmission path of the target network element, wherein the target network element is a computational node serving the terminal.
In one embodiment of the present application, the manner of obtaining the computing resource information includes at least one of:
mode 1: receiving terminal computing resource information sent by a terminal;
for example, terminal computing resource information sent by the terminal in the registration process is obtained through the UDM.
Mode 2: receiving server computing resource information and an address of the server sent by AF;
for example, server computing resource information and the address of the server sent by the AF are received through the NEF.
Mode 3: and receiving the mobile network computing resource information sent by the OAM or the OMC.
In one embodiment of the present application, the processing module 602 includes:
a first receiving unit, configured to receive a first request message sent by an AMF, where the first request message is used to request a routing policy to be allocated to a terminal having a computing power demand service, and the first request message carries real-time terminal computing power resource information;
and the processing unit is used for distributing routing strategy suggestions to the terminals with the computing power service requirements according to the computing power resource information and the computing power routing table or according to the computing power resource information and the routing table and the types and/or the priorities of the computing power nodes.
Optionally, the calculation power resource prediction information includes: at least one of the predicted terminal computing resource information, the predicted server computing resource information and the predicted mobile network computing resource information;
the calculation resource historical information comprises: at least one item of historical terminal computing resource information, historical server computing resource information and historical mobile network computing resource information.
Optionally, the predicted terminal computing power resource information or the historical terminal computing power resource information includes: the terminal computing resource information, and the terminal computing resource use time and/or use priority;
the predicted server computing resource information or the historical server computing resource information includes: the server computing resource information and the use time and/or the use priority of the server computing resource;
the predicted mobile network computing power resource information or the historical mobile network computing power resource information includes: mobile network computing resource information, and mobile network computing resource usage time and/or usage priority.
Optionally, the terminal computing resource information includes at least one of a position of the terminal, a CPU occupancy rate of a central processing unit, a GPU occupancy rate of a graphics processor, and a memory occupancy rate;
the server computing resource information comprises: at least one of the supportable task connection number, CPU occupancy rate, GPU occupancy rate, memory occupancy rate, resource form and the position of the server;
the mobile network computing resource information comprises: at least one of current network hardware infrastructure resources, current network load, and resource usage rates of computing power nodes in the current network.
The device provided in the embodiment of the present application can implement each process implemented by the method embodiment shown in fig. 1, and achieve the same technical effect, and is not described here again to avoid repetition.
Referring to fig. 7, an embodiment of the present application provides an apparatus for management and decision-making of computing resources based on NWDAF, which is applied to PCF, and the apparatus 700 includes:
a first receiving module 701, configured to receive a routing policy suggestion sent by an NWDAF, where the routing policy suggestion is allocated by the NWDAF to a terminal with a computing service requirement according to computing resource information, or according to the computing resource information, and a type and/or priority of a computing node, where the computing resource information includes at least one of terminal computing resource information, server computing resource information, mobile network computing resource information, computing resource prediction information, and computing resource history information;
an updating module 702, configured to perform a computation power configuration policy update according to the routing policy suggestion.
In one embodiment of the present application, the apparatus further comprises:
and the second sending module is used for sending the updated computational power configuration strategy to the AMF.
In one embodiment of the present application, the computational power configuration strategy includes: at least one of location information of a target network element and a transmission path of the target network element, wherein the target network element is a computational node serving the terminal.
Optionally, the calculation power resource prediction information includes: at least one of the predicted terminal computing resource information, the predicted server computing resource information and the predicted mobile network computing resource information;
the calculation resource historical information comprises: at least one item of historical terminal computing resource information, historical server computing resource information and historical mobile network computing resource information.
Optionally, the predicted terminal computing power resource information or the historical terminal computing power resource information includes: the terminal computing resource information, and the terminal computing resource use time and/or use priority;

the server computing resource information comprises: at least one of the supportable task connection number, CPU occupancy rate, GPU occupancy rate, memory occupancy rate, resource form and the position of the server;
the mobile network computing power resource information comprises: at least one of current network hardware infrastructure resources, current network load, and resource usage rates of computing power nodes in the current network.
The device provided in the embodiment of the present application can implement each process implemented in the method embodiment shown in fig. 2, and achieve the same technical effect, and is not described here again to avoid repetition.
As shown in fig. 8, the embodiment of the present application further provides a communication device 800, which includes a processor 801, a memory 802, and a program or instructions stored on the memory 802 and executable on the processor 801, where the program or instructions, when executed by the processor 801, implement the processes of the method embodiments of fig. 1 or fig. 2, and achieve the same technical effects. To avoid repetition, further description is omitted here.
An embodiment of the present application further provides a readable storage medium, where a program or an instruction is stored on the readable storage medium, and when the program or the instruction is executed by a processor, the program or the instruction implements each process of the method embodiment shown in fig. 1 or fig. 2, and can achieve the same technical effect, and in order to avoid repetition, details are not repeated here.
Wherein, the processor is the processor in the terminal described in the above embodiment. The readable storage medium includes a computer readable storage medium, such as a Read-Only Memory (ROM), a Random Access Memory (RAM), a magnetic disk or an optical disk, and so on.
The steps of a method or algorithm described in connection with the disclosure herein may be embodied in hardware or may be embodied in software instructions executed by a processor. The software instructions may consist of corresponding software modules that may be stored in RAM, flash memory, ROM, EPROM, EEPROM, registers, hard disk, a removable hard disk, a compact disk, or any other form of storage medium known in the art. An exemplary storage medium is coupled to the processor such the processor can read information from, and write information to, the storage medium. Of course, the storage medium may also be integral to the processor. The processor and the storage medium may reside in an ASIC. In addition, the ASIC may be carried in a core network interface device. Of course, the processor and the storage medium may reside as discrete components in a core network interface device.
Those skilled in the art will recognize that in one or more of the examples described above, the functions described herein may be implemented in hardware, software, firmware, or any combination thereof. When implemented in software, the functions may be stored on or transmitted over as one or more instructions or code on a computer-readable medium. Computer-readable media includes both computer storage media and communication media including any medium that facilitates transfer of a computer program from one place to another. A storage media may be any available media that can be accessed by a general purpose or special purpose computer.

It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made in the embodiments of the present application without departing from the spirit and scope of the application. Thus, if such modifications and variations of the embodiments of the present application fall within the scope of the claims of the present application and their equivalents, the present application is also intended to encompass such modifications and variations.

Claims (16)

1. A method for managing and deciding computing resources based on a network data analysis function (NWDAF), which is applied to the NWDAF and is characterized by comprising the following steps:
acquiring computing resource information, wherein the computing resource information comprises at least one of terminal computing resource information, server computing resource information, mobile network computing resource information, computing resource prediction information and computing resource historical information;
distributing routing strategy suggestions to the terminals with the computing power service requirements according to the computing power resource information or the computing power resource information and the types and/or priorities of the computing power nodes;
and sending the routing strategy suggestion to a strategy control function PCF, wherein the routing strategy suggestion is used for assisting the PCF to update the computational power configuration strategy.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein obtaining computing resource information comprises at least one of:
receiving terminal computing resource information sent by a terminal;
receiving server computing resource information and a server address sent by an Application Function (AF);
and receiving the computing resource information of the mobile network sent by the operation maintenance management (OAM) or the Operation Maintenance Center (OMC).
3. The method of claim 2, wherein receiving the terminal computing power resource information sent by the terminal comprises:
and acquiring terminal computing resource information sent by the terminal in the registration process through the unified data management UDM.
4. The method of claim 2, wherein receiving server computing resource information and server address sent by the AF comprises:
and receiving the server computing resource information and the address of the server sent by the AF through a network open function NEF.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein assigning routing policy suggestions to terminals with a computing service requirement based on the computing resource information or based on the computing resource information and a type and/or priority of a computing node comprises:
and distributing routing strategy suggestions to the terminals with the computing power service requirements according to the computing power resource information and the computing power routing table or according to the computing power resource information, the computing power routing table and the types and/or the priorities of the computing power nodes.
6. The method of claim 5, wherein assigning routing policy suggestions to terminals with computational traffic demands based on the computational resource information, or based on the computational resource information and type and/or priority of computational nodes, further comprises:
receiving a first request message sent by an access and mobility management function (AMF), wherein the first request message is used for requesting to allocate a routing strategy for a terminal with a computing power demand service, and the first request message carries real-time terminal computing power resource information.
7. The method of claim 1, wherein the computational power configuration strategy comprises: at least one of location information of a target network element and a transmission path of the target network element, wherein the target network element is a computational node serving the terminal.
8. The method of claim 1, wherein the computational resource prediction information comprises: at least one of the predicted terminal computing resource information, the predicted server computing resource information and the predicted mobile network computing resource information;
the calculation resource historical information comprises: at least one item of historical terminal computing resource information, historical server computing resource information and historical mobile network computing resource information.
9. The method of claim 8, wherein the predicted terminal computing power resource information or the historical terminal computing power resource information comprises: the terminal computing power resource information, the terminal computing power resource use time and/or the use priority;
the predicted server computing resource information or the historical server computing resource information includes: the server computing resource information and the use time and/or the use priority of the server computing resource;
the predicted mobile network computing power resource information or the historical mobile network computing power resource information includes: mobile network computing resource information, and mobile network computing resource usage time and/or usage priority.
10. The method of claim 1 or 8, wherein the terminal computing power resource information comprises at least one of a location of the terminal, a Central Processing Unit (CPU) occupancy, a Graphics Processor (GPU) occupancy, and a memory occupancy;
the server computing resource information comprises: at least one of the supportable task connection number, CPU occupancy rate, GPU occupancy rate, memory occupancy rate, resource form and the position of the server;
the mobile network computing resource information comprises: at least one of current network hardware infrastructure resources, current network load, and resource usage rates of computing power nodes in the current network.
11. A method for management and decision-making of computing resources based on NWDAF, applied to PCF, comprising:
receiving a routing strategy suggestion sent by an NWDAF (network-wide area network) and distributed to a terminal with a computing service requirement by the NWDAF according to computing power resource information or the computing power resource information and the type and/or priority of a computing power node, wherein the computing power resource information comprises at least one of terminal computing power resource information, server computing power resource information, mobile network computing power resource information, computing power resource prediction information and computing power resource history information;
and updating the calculation force configuration strategy according to the routing strategy suggestion.
12. The method of claim 11, further comprising:
and sending the updated computational power configuration strategy to the AMF.
13. The method of claim 11, wherein the computational power configuration strategy comprises: at least one of location information of a target network element and a transmission path of the target network element, wherein the target network element is a computational node serving the terminal.
14. The method of claim 11, wherein the computational resource prediction information comprises: at least one of the predicted terminal computing resource information, the predicted server computing resource information and the predicted mobile network computing resource information;
the calculation resource historical information comprises: at least one item of historical terminal computing resource information, historical server computing resource information and historical mobile network computing resource information.
15. The method of claim 14, wherein the predicted terminal computing power resource information or the historical terminal computing power resource information comprises: the terminal computing resource information, and the terminal computing resource use time and/or use priority;
the predicted server computing resource information or the historical server computing resource information includes: the server computing resource information and the use time and/or the use priority of the server computing resource;
the predicted mobile network computing resource information or the historical mobile network computing resource information includes: mobile network computing resource information, and mobile network computing resource usage time and/or usage priority.
16. The method according to claim 11 or 15, wherein the terminal computing power resource information comprises at least one of a position, a CPU occupancy, a GPU occupancy, and a memory occupancy of the terminal;
the server computing resource information comprises: at least one of the supportable task connection number, CPU occupancy rate, GPU occupancy rate, memory occupancy rate, resource form and the position of the server;
the mobile network computing resource information comprises: at least one of current network hardware infrastructure resources, current network load, and resource usage rates of computing power nodes in the current network.
