Fig. 1 schematically shows a flowchart of a resource download control method according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 1, the resource download control method includes:
step 101: under the condition that a plurality of resource downloading processes exist in the resource downloading process set at the same time, the target resource downloading process is communicated with each other resource downloading process in the resource downloading process set respectively to obtain task information of each other resource downloading process, wherein the task information comprises priority information and a first speed limit value; the first speed limit value is used for indicating the maximum downloading speed when the resource downloading task downloads the resource to be downloaded, and the target resource downloading process is any one resource downloading process in the resource downloading process set.
The resources can be in various forms such as videos, audios, pictures, texts, plug-ins and the like which are downloaded through a network. In an optional embodiment, a user may download the resource through various multimedia application software, the user may perform a resource downloading operation on a user interaction interface provided by the multimedia application software, and the multimedia application software creates a resource downloading process corresponding to the resource downloading operation after detecting the resource downloading operation of the user. The Resource downloading process may include an identifier of the Resource to be downloaded, for example, a name of the Resource to be downloaded, or may include a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the Resource to be downloaded.
In this embodiment, the priority information of the resource downloading process may be used to indicate the priority degree of the resource downloading process. Illustratively, the priority information of the resource downloading process may be represented by a high priority, a normal priority, a low priority, or may be represented by a first priority, a second priority, and a third priority. The priority information of the resource downloading process can be flexibly set, and the invention is not limited herein. For example, priority information of a resource downloading process may be set according to a resource to be downloaded, and different resources correspond to different priority information. Priority information of the resource downloading task can also be set according to the service corresponding to the resource downloading process, namely the priority information of a plurality of resource downloading processes belonging to different services is different, and the priority information of a plurality of resource downloading processes belonging to the same service is the same. In this embodiment, there may be a one-to-many relationship between the service and the resource downloading process. For one service, a plurality of resource downloading processes can exist simultaneously under the service, and one resource downloading process only belongs to one service. The division of the service may be flexibly set according to the application scenario, and the present invention is not limited herein. The priority may also be set according to information of the user triggering the resource download process, e.g. a user with a higher user rank triggers a higher priority resource download process. The first speed limit may be used to indicate a maximum download speed of the resource download process when downloading the resource to be downloaded. The first speed limit value can be flexibly set, and the invention is not limited in the process. The first speed limit value can correspond to priority information of the resource downloading process, and the higher the priority of the resource downloading process is, the larger the first speed limit value is. In an alternative embodiment, the first speed limit value may also be set according to a resource to be downloaded, and different resources correspond to different first speed limit values. Or setting a first speed limit value according to the service corresponding to the resource downloading process, namely, different types of services correspond to different first speed limit values. The division of the service may be flexibly set according to the application scenario, and the present invention is not limited herein. The first speed limit value can also be set according to the information of the user triggering the resource downloading process, for example, the first speed limit value of the resource downloading process triggered by the user with higher user grade is larger.
In this embodiment, the target resource downloading process communicates with each of the other resource downloading processes in the resource downloading process set, that is, the task information of each of the other resource downloading processes is obtained through inter-process communication, so that the target resource downloading process can control the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded in combination with the task information of all the other resource downloading processes. A process (process) is a running activity of a program in a computer on a data set, is a basic unit for resource allocation and scheduling of a system, and is the basis of an operating system structure. A process can apply for and own system resources, and is a dynamic concept and an active entity. Inter-Process Communication (IPC) refers to the interaction between data of two processes.
Step 102: and the target resource downloading process controls the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded according to the acquired priority information and the first speed limit value of each other resource downloading process.
In this embodiment, the priority level of each resource downloading process may be determined according to the priority level information of each resource downloading process. The higher the priority the more urgent the resource download process. Therefore, under the condition that a plurality of resource downloading processes exist at the same time, the downloading speed of the resource downloading process with high priority can be limited without limiting the downloading speed of the resource downloading process with low priority, so that the bandwidth is given to the resource downloading process with high priority, the downloading efficiency of the resource downloading process with high priority is improved, and the bandwidth preemption is avoided. In another optional embodiment, the resource downloading process with high priority may be preferentially executed, then the resource downloading process with low priority is executed, and when each resource downloading process is executed, the speed limit is performed according to the first speed limit value of the resource downloading process.
In the resource downloading control method of the embodiment of the invention, under the condition that a plurality of resource downloading processes exist simultaneously, the target resource downloading process is respectively communicated with each other resource downloading process in the resource downloading process set to obtain the task information of each other resource downloading process, wherein the task information comprises priority information and a first speed limit value; the first speed limit value is used for indicating the maximum downloading speed when the resource downloading process downloads the resource to be downloaded, and the target resource downloading process is any resource downloading process in the resource downloading process set; the technical means of controlling the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded by the target resource downloading process according to the acquired priority information and the first speed limit value of each other resource downloading process can realize dynamic adjustment and control of the downloading speed of each resource downloading process, realize downloading speed avoidance, avoid broadband preemption and optimize user experience.
Fig. 2 is a flow chart schematically illustrating a resource download control method according to another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the services are divided at the service side providing the resource downloading service, the services can be divided into different types, and different priorities and different speed limit values can be set for different types of services. The priority and speed limit values of different types of traffic can be dynamically adjusted. When a resource downloading process of a certain service is created, the priority and the speed limit value of the service can be used as the priority information and the first speed limit value of the resource downloading process, so that the resource downloading process can be dynamically adjusted and controlled according to the priority information and the first speed limit value, the downloading requirements of different services are met, and the use experience of a user is improved. As shown in fig. 2, the resource download control method of this embodiment includes:
step 201: responding to the resource downloading operation of a user, creating a resource downloading process, and setting task parameters of the resource downloading process, wherein the task parameters comprise the identification of a target service corresponding to the resource downloading process.
In this embodiment, a service side (e.g., a service side of multimedia application software) providing a resource download service may divide services into different types according to a certain rule, and the basis for dividing the services may be flexibly set according to an application scenario, which is not limited herein. As an example, the service side providing the video download service may be divided according to the service parties of the resources, for example, the service side may be divided into a live broadcast service, an advertisement service, an online playing service, an offline download service, a plug-in download service, and the like. Wherein the plug-in download service provides downloadable plug-ins to the user.
The user may perform a downloading operation on a user interaction interface of a multimedia application, such as a client, for example, a video downloading operation on a user interaction interface of a video client. In this embodiment, the operation of the user for downloading the resource may be used as a trigger event of the resource downloading process, and when the trigger event is detected, the resource downloading process is created according to the trigger event.
When a resource downloading process is created, task parameters of the resource downloading process need to be determined, and the task parameters include an identifier of a target service corresponding to the resource downloading process. The identifier of the target service corresponding to the resource downloading process may be determined according to a resource downloading operation of the user (e.g., a location where the user performs a downloading operation on a user interaction interface of the client). The identification is used to identify the target service, and may be an ID of the target service. The service priority and the service speed limit value corresponding to the target service can be determined through the identifier of the target service, or the type of the target service is determined through the identifier of the target service, so that the service priority and the service speed limit value corresponding to the type of the service can be determined. After determining the service priority and the service speed limit value corresponding to the target service, the service priority and the service speed limit value corresponding to the target service may be used as the priority information and the first speed limit value of the resource downloading process. In an optional embodiment, the task parameter may further include a process creation time, information (such as a user account) of a user performing the resource downloading operation, and the like.
Step 202: according to the task parameters of the resource downloading process, determining a target downloading strategy matched with the target service from a plurality of preconfigured downloading strategies, wherein the target downloading strategy comprises the service priority and the service speed limit value of the target service; and the service speed limit value is used for indicating the upper limit of the downloading speed of the target service.
In this step, different downloading strategies may be configured in advance for different types of services, that is, different service priorities and service speed limit values may be configured for different types of services. The preconfigured download policy may be stored at the cloud server. The downloading strategy can be stored in a downloading mapping table of the cloud server, and the ID of each service, the service priority and the service speed limit value of the service are recorded in the downloading mapping table. The service priority is used for indicating the priority degree of the service. The service speed limit value is used for indicating the upper limit of the downloading speed of the service. The pre-configured downloading strategy can be dynamically configured, namely, the downloading strategy can be timely and flexibly adjusted according to the service requirement, the method is more practical, the downloading speed avoidance is more suitable, and the flexibility and the intelligence of the resource downloading control method of the embodiment of the invention are improved. In this embodiment, a target downloading policy matching a target service is determined according to an identifier of the target service in a resource downloading process.
Step 203: and taking the service priority of the target service as the priority information of the resource downloading process, and taking the service speed limit value of the target service as the first speed limit value of the resource downloading process.
Step 204: under the condition that a plurality of resource downloading processes exist at the same time, the target resource downloading process is communicated with each other resource downloading process in the resource downloading process set respectively to obtain task information of each other resource downloading process, wherein the task information comprises priority information and a first speed limit value; the first speed limit value is used for indicating the maximum downloading speed when the resource downloading process downloads the resource to be downloaded, and the target resource downloading process is any one resource downloading process in the resource downloading process set.
Step 205: and the target resource downloading process controls the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded according to the acquired priority information and the first speed limit value of each other resource downloading process.
Wherein, steps 204 to 205 are the same as steps 101 to 102 shown in fig. 1, and are not repeated herein.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 2, different service priorities and service speed limit values are configured for different services, so that the downloading requirements of different services can be met. Further, in other embodiments of the present invention, the task priority may be set on the basis of setting the service priority for the resource downloading process, that is, the priority information of the resource downloading process includes the service priority and the task priority. When the priority information is compared by a plurality of resource downloading processes, the service priority is compared firstly, and the resource downloading processes with the service priority of the same level compare the task priority, namely the task priority is compared only under the condition that the service priority is the same level. The embodiment of the invention realizes the fine-grained regulation and control of the downloading speed of the resource downloading process by setting the service priority and the task priority for the resource downloading process. For example, the task priorities of different resource downloading processes may be set according to the urgency of the resource downloading processes, and the higher the urgency is, the higher the priority is, the priorities of different processes may also be set according to the types of resources to be downloaded. Illustratively, task priority may be identified by high, normal, low. The task priority of the resource downloading process can be flexibly set according to the application scene, and the invention is not limited herein. For example, for an offline download service, since a video is stored in the form of a video slice at the server, when downloading a video resource, the service downloads the slice resources of the video in sequence, so that for the service, the priority of the resource downloading process of the video slice with the resource to be downloaded being in the front of the playing order may be set to high, the priority of the resource downloading process of other video slices may be set to normal, the task priority of the resource downloading process of the resource with the resource to be downloaded being in the picture type may be set to high, and the task priority of the resource downloading process of the resource with the resource to be downloaded being in the video type may be set to normal or low.
In the embodiment of the invention, under the condition that the task priority of the resource downloading process is set, each resource downloading process has two layers of priorities: and the service priority and the task priority regulate and control the downloading speed of the resource downloading processes in a fine-grained manner through the two layers of priorities. Specifically, as shown in fig. 3, the process of regulating and controlling the download speed of the multiple resource download processes according to the service priority and the task priority may include:
step 301: the target resource downloading process determines whether other resource downloading processes with the service priority higher than the service priority exist according to the service priority of each other resource downloading process;
step 302: under the condition that other resource downloading processes with service priorities higher than the service priorities exist, the target resource downloading process updates the first speed limit value according to a preset first reduction ratio to obtain a third speed limit value; taking the third speed limit value as a target speed limit value, and limiting the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded within the target speed limit value;
step 303: under the condition that other resource downloading processes with service priorities higher than the service priorities do not exist, the target resource downloading process determines whether other resource downloading processes with the service priorities at the same level as the service priorities exist or not;
step 304: under the condition that the same-level resource downloading process does not exist, the target resource downloading process does not limit the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded;
step 305: under the condition that other resource downloading processes with the service priority being the same as the service priority of the target resource downloading process exist, the target resource downloading process takes the other resource downloading processes with the service priority being the same as the service priority of the target resource downloading process as peer resource downloading processes, and whether peer resource downloading processes with task priorities higher than the target resource downloading processes exist is determined;
step 306: under the condition that a peer resource downloading process with a task priority higher than that of the target resource downloading process exists, the target resource downloading process updates the first speed limit value according to a preset second reduction ratio to obtain a second speed limit value; taking the second speed limit value as a target speed limit value, and limiting the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded within the target speed limit value;
step 307: and under the condition that the same-level resource downloading process with higher task priority does not exist, the target resource downloading process does not limit the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded.
In the embodiment of the invention, under the condition that the priority information of the resource downloading process simultaneously comprises the service priority and the task priority, the target resource downloading process firstly judges the service priority of each resource downloading process, if the service priority is higher than the own resource downloading process, the speed avoidance is carried out so as to ensure the downloading efficiency of the resource downloading process with high service priority and avoid the width of the resource downloading process with high service priority; if the resource downloading process with the service priority higher than the self resource downloading process does not exist, and the resource downloading process with the service priority being the same as the service priority of the resource downloading process exists, judging whether the resource downloading process with the task priority higher than the self resource downloading process exists or not, and if the resource downloading process with the task priority higher than the self resource downloading process exists, performing speed avoidance to ensure the downloading efficiency of the resource downloading process with the high task priority; if the resource downloading process with the service priority higher than that of the resource downloading process and the resource downloading process with the service priority being the same as that of the resource downloading process do not exist, namely the service priorities of other resource downloading processes are lower than that of the target resource downloading process, the target downloading process resource does not limit the speed of downloading the resource to be downloaded. Based on the above contents, the speed avoidance in the target resource downloading process includes the following two cases: in the first case: the business priority of the downloading process of other resources is higher than that of the downloading process of the target resources (namely, the business urgency of the downloading process of other resources is higher than that of the downloading process of the target resources); in the second case: the task priority of the peer resource downloading process is higher than that of the target resource downloading process (the peer resource downloading process refers to other resource downloading processes with the same level of business priority as that of the target resource downloading process, and the business urgency degrees of the other resource downloading processes are the same as that of the target resource downloading process). The speed limit value of the target resource downloading process under the first condition is lower than the speed limit value under the second condition, namely the maximum downloading speed of the target resource downloading process under the first condition is lower than the maximum downloading speed under the second condition, so that the resource downloading process with high service priority has the maximum downloading efficiency and bandwidth under the condition that the resource downloading process with high service priority exists; under the condition that the resource downloading processes with the same service priority and different task priorities exist, the downloading efficiency of the resource downloading process with the low task priority is ensured under the condition that the downloading efficiency of the resource downloading process with the high task priority is ensured.
In an optional embodiment, the task parameter of the resource downloading process further includes a level speed limit value of the resource downloading process, where the level speed limit value is used to indicate an upper limit of the downloading speed that matches the level of the user. The rating limit may be determined by: the method comprises the steps of obtaining account information of a user, determining the grade of the user according to the account information of the user, and determining a grade speed limit value matched with the grade of the user from a plurality of pre-configured grade speed limit values. In this embodiment, different level speed limit values may be set in advance for users of different levels, and the higher the level is, the higher the level speed limit value is, the larger the upper limit of the download speed is.
After determining the rank speed limit of the resource download process, each resource download process has two speed limits: a traffic speed limit value and a class speed limit value. Each resource downloading process only needs one speed limit value finally, so that the final speed limit value needs to be determined from the service speed limit value and the grade speed limit value. For example, the smaller speed limit value of the service speed limit value and the level speed limit value may be used as the first speed limit value of the resource downloading process. After the first speed limit value is determined, the target resource downloading process controls the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded according to the acquired priority information of each other resource downloading process and the first speed limit value.
In an optional embodiment, the task parameter of the resource downloading process further includes a network speed limit value of the resource downloading process, and the network speed limit value is used to indicate an upper download speed limit matching with the current network state of the user. Wherein the network status is used to indicate the type of network and the bandwidth of the network. In this embodiment, different speed limit values may be set for different networks, and the larger the network bandwidth is, the higher the speed limit value is.
After the network speed limit value of the resource downloading process is determined, the minimum speed limit value of the service speed limit value, the grade speed limit value and the network speed limit value can be used as the first speed limit value of the resource downloading process.
In an optional embodiment, the method further comprises: and the target resource downloading process acquires an online playing state. And the online playing state is used for indicating whether the current playing is smooth or not. The online playing state comprises two states of online playing fluency and online playing pause. The target resource downloading process can communicate with the multimedia application software to acquire the online playing state of the multimedia application software. As an example, the multimedia application software is a video client, the target resource downloading process is a process for downloading a resource provided by the video client, and the target resource downloading process communicates with the video client to obtain an online playing state of the video client. In an optional embodiment, the target resource downloading process may also directly communicate with the functional module responsible for the online playing service to obtain the online playing state. For example, in the related art, the online playing service generally plays while downloading, and the target resource downloading process communicates with the online playing service while downloading to acquire the online playing state.
After the target resource downloading process acquires the online playing state, the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded can be controlled by combining the service priority, the task priority and the online playing state. Specifically, under the condition that the target resource downloading process determines to limit the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded to the target speed limit value according to the service priority and the task priority, the target resource downloading process determines whether to update the target speed limit value according to the online playing state, if the target speed limit value is updated, the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded is limited to the updated target speed limit value, and if the target speed limit value is not updated, the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded is limited to the original target speed limit value. Further, under the condition that the target resource downloading process determines that the online playing state is playing pause, the target speed limit value is determined to be updated, the target speed limit value is updated according to the third reduction ratio to obtain a fourth speed limit value, and the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded is limited within the fourth speed limit value; and in the target resource downloading process, under the condition that the online playing state is determined to be smooth, the target speed limit value is determined not to be updated, and the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded is limited within the original target speed limit value.
And if the target resource downloading process determines that the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded is not limited according to the service priority and the task priority, the target resource downloading process determines whether the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded is limited according to the online playing state. Further, the target resource downloading process determines to limit the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded under the condition that the online playing state is determined to be playing pause, updates the first speed limit value according to the fourth reduction ratio to obtain a fifth speed limit value, and limits the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded within the fifth speed limit value; and the target resource downloading process determines not to limit the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded under the condition that the online playing state is determined to be smooth in playing.
In the embodiment of the invention, the downloading speed of the resource to be downloaded is controlled by the target resource downloading process in combination with the service priority, the task priority and the online playing state, if the online playing state is the playing card segment, the downloading speed is limited by the target resource downloading process, the bandwidth is given to the online playing service, the online playing is kept in a smooth state, and the playing quality and the user experience are ensured.
In an alternative embodiment, the third reduction ratio and the fourth reduction ratio are determined according to the following procedure:
counting the number of times of pause within a preset period;
and updating a third reduction ratio and a fourth reduction ratio according to the number of the morttons, wherein the third reduction ratio and the fourth reduction ratio are positively correlated with the number of the morttons.
In this embodiment, the third reduction ratio and the fourth reduction ratio are both positively correlated with the number of stutter times, that is, the third reduction ratio and the fourth reduction ratio increase with the increase of the number of stutter times, and the larger the number of stutter times is, the smaller the target speed limit value of the target downloading process is, and the target speed limit value is negatively correlated with the number of stutter times. The third reduction ratio and the fourth reduction ratio are real numbers within [0,1 ]. Taking the third reduction ratio a =0.1 as an example, if the online playing service is stuck for a plurality of times in one period (e.g. 5 minutes), the target resource downloading process adjusts the third reduction ratio as follows: entering a period when the first time of the pause occurs, updating the target speed limit value according to a preset third reduction ratio a, wherein the updated target speed limit value v' = v × (1-0.1) =0.9v; when the second time of the jam occurs in this period, the third reduction ratio is increased, for example, from 0.1 to 0.2, and the target speed limit value is updated at the increased third reduction ratio, and the updated target speed limit value v = v '× (1-0.2) =0.8v' =0.72v. Alternatively, when the target speed limit value is updated at the increased third reduction ratio, the updated target speed limit value v = v × (1-0.2) =0.8v.
In this embodiment, when the online playing state is playing pause, the downloading speed is adjusted according to the number of pause times, and the larger the number of pause times is, the smaller the upper limit of the downloading speed is, so as to provide more broadband for the online playing service, and further optimize the playing experience of the user.
In an alternative embodiment, the resource downloading process may be an offline downloading process and a plug-in downloading process, where the offline downloading process is used for downloading multimedia resources such as videos, pictures, texts and the like offline, and the offline downloading refers to that a server downloads data to the server first and then downloads the data from the server to a personal computer in place of a computer user.
