Specifically, the virtual user identification card may include: an Embedded subscriber identity module (eSIM) card, or other virtual SIM card.
The mobile terminal can be a mobile terminal such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer and an intelligent watch. The mobile terminal can be a communication initiator or a communication receiver.
A profile representing a set of operator parameters; the configuration file is used for supporting the terminal to access a network provided by an operator corresponding to the configuration file; i.e. the mobile terminal activates a certain profile indicating the network of the operator that the mobile terminal may use the profile represent.
The operator parameters may include: frequency band information of an operator, carrier aggregation information, protocol version information, Long Term Evolution (LTE) capability information, and the like.
The instructions include: at least two profiles to be activated. In an embodiment, the mobile terminal may determine at least two profiles to be activated according to a first operation input by the user.
