Description

APN changing method, device and system
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications, and in particular, to a method, an apparatus, and a system for changing an Access Point Name (APN).
Background
A vehicle networking terminal device (Telematics Box, Tbox) is a vehicle communication device and has a networking function.
When a Tbox is networked, it is usually required to read an APN from a local configuration file, and determine a Packet Data Network (PDN) to be accessed according to the APN. When the APN parameter of the local configuration file is consistent with the APN parameter stored by a Home Subscriber Server (HSS), the Tbox can be successfully networked. Compared with a mode of directly using APN parameters configured in the HSS without APN in a local configuration file, the mode has better security.
If the APN parameter signed by the SIM card configured on the Tbox is changed, the Tbox needs to establish connection with the destination network again according to the changed APN parameter. In this case, how to modify the APN parameters on the Tbox and the HSS to avoid the passive offline of the Tbox due to the inconsistency of the APN parameters of the Tbox and the HSS is a problem to be solved.

Detailed Description
For better understanding of the technical solutions of the present invention, the following detailed descriptions of the embodiments of the present invention are provided with reference to the accompanying drawings.
It should be understood that the described embodiments are only some embodiments of the invention, and not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The terminology used in the embodiments of the invention is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the invention. As used in the examples of the present invention and the appended claims, the singular forms "a," "an," and "the" are intended to include the plural forms as well, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
In the related art, if the APN parameter stored in the vehicle-mounted terminal is different from the APN parameter in the user information database, the vehicle-mounted terminal cannot be normally networked. When changing the APN parameter, if the APN to be changed is used to connect a car networking Service platform (TSP), the vehicle terminal may also face the problem that the updated APN parameter cannot be obtained and the network cannot be reconnected according to the updated APN. The APN changing method provided by the embodiment of the invention can update the APN parameters in the vehicle-mounted terminal and the user information database at the same time, and avoids the problem of passive offline of the vehicle-mounted terminal caused by inconsistency of the APN parameters stored in the vehicle-mounted terminal and the user information database.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an APN changing system according to an embodiment of the present invention. The system is mainly applied to a car networking scenario, and as shown in fig. 1, the system may include: a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card management Module, a TSP, a vehicle terminal and a network management device. Wherein:
and the SIM card management module is used for determining that the APN corresponding to the first SIM card number is to be changed and determining a second APN to be changed. Optionally, the APN currently corresponding to the first SIM card number is referred to as a first APN. Optionally, the APN currently corresponding to the first SIM card number may be an APN subscribed by the SIM card number, or an APN changed by the method of the present invention or other methods. Optionally, after determining a second APN to be changed for a first APN currently corresponding to the first SIM card number, sending the first SIM card number and the second APN to the TSP, so that the TSP sends the second APN to the vehicle-mounted terminal configured with the first SIM card number, and receives a change time for changing the first APN in the local configuration file to the second APN, which is determined by the vehicle-mounted terminal; and receiving the change time determined by the vehicle-mounted terminal forwarded by the TSP, and sending the change time, the first SIM card number and the second APN to the network management equipment so that the network management equipment changes the first APN corresponding to the first SIM card number in the user information database to the second APN at the change time.
The TSP can receive a first SIM card number and a second APN sent by the SIM card management module; sending a second APN to the vehicle-mounted terminal configured with the first SIM card number, and receiving the change time determined by the vehicle-mounted terminal for changing the first APN in the local configuration file into the second APN; and forwarding the change time to the SIM card management module. The TSP may be connected to a car, a car equipment manufacturer, a network operator, and a content provider, among others. The TSP service can integrate modern computer technologies such as location service, Gis service, and communication service, and provide powerful services (navigation, entertainment, information, security, SNS, remote maintenance, etc.) for car owners and individuals.
The vehicle-mounted terminal is used for determining the change time when receiving the second APN sent by the TSP and sending the change time to the TSP; and changing the first APN in the local configuration file to the second APN at the changing time.
The network management equipment is used for receiving the change time, the first SIM card number and the second APN which are sent by the SIM card management module; and changing the first APN corresponding to the first SIM card number in the user information database into a second APN at the change time. Optionally, the user information database is configured to store user information, for example, APN information corresponding to a SIM card.
In one specific example as shown in fig. 2, the in-vehicle terminal may be a Tbox. The Subscriber information database may be a Home Location Register (HLR) or a Home Subscriber Server (HSS).
In the scene of the internet of vehicles, the TSP can monitor and manage each Tbox with a data channel, and communicate with the Tbox through the data channel. The PGW shown in fig. 2 is a gateway device connecting a mobile communication network and the internet. Depending on the APN parameters, the Tbox data flow may be routed to the corresponding PGW, and thus to a different network or platform, or TSP.
It should be noted that, in the process of establishing the data channel between the Tbox and the TSP, the Tbox needs to use information such as the SIM card number of the Tbox to perform network attachment and activation, so as to obtain an IP address allocated to the Tbox by the network side, and establish the data channel with the TSP based on the IP address. The information for network activation and attachment may further include: an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) of the SIM card, an APN, quality of service information, and the like.
The TSP binds the SIM card number used by the Tbox when the Tbox is subjected to network attachment and activation with the corresponding Tbox, thereby determining the corresponding Tbox according to the SIM card number sent by the SIM card management module and transmitting information through a data channel established between the Tbox and the corresponding Tbox.
In practical applications, the SIM card management module may be disposed in the TSP (i.e., as a functional module of the TSP), or may be a separate system component. Figure 2 shows a SIM card management module as a stand-alone system component; when the SIM card management module is used as a functional module of the TSP, the SIM card management module may communicate with other functional modules of the TSP to implement the above-described functions.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart of an APN changing method according to an embodiment of the present invention, which is applied to a SIM card management module. As shown in fig. 3, the method includes:
step 101, determining that an APN corresponding to the first SIM card number is to be changed, and determining a second APN to be changed.
Specifically, when receiving an APN change prompt sent by the TSP, the APN change prompt may determine a SIM card number to be changed by the APN, and use the SIM card number as the first SIM card number. The APN change prompt may further include that an APN corresponding to the first SIM card number is to be changed to a second APN.
Or when the update setting of the APN corresponding to the first SIM card number is detected, determining that the APN corresponding to the first SIM card number is to be changed according to the update setting, and determining a second APN to be changed.
In addition, when the APN corresponding to the first SIM card number is to be changed, only the second APN may be determined without determining the first APN.
After determining the first APN currently corresponding to the first SIM card number and the second APN to be changed for the first APN, the process continues to step 102.
Step 102, a first SIM card number and a second APN are sent to a TSP, so that the TSP sends the second APN to a vehicle-mounted terminal configured with the first SIM card number through a first connection, and receives change time determined by the vehicle-mounted terminal. And the change time is the time when the vehicle-mounted terminal changes the first APN of the vehicle-mounted terminal to the second APN, and the first connection is established based on the first APN.
As can be seen from the foregoing description, in the scenario of car networking, the in-vehicle terminal may establish a data channel (i.e., a first connection) with the TSP based on the first APN. In practical application, the SIM card management module does not directly establish a data channel with the vehicle-mounted terminal. Therefore, when the SIM card management module needs to communicate with the car-mounted terminal, neither the SIM card management module nor the car-mounted terminal can directly send information to the other party, and the information can be forwarded through the TSP.
When establishing a data channel with the TSP, the vehicle-mounted terminal may first initiate a network attach request to a Serving GPRS Support Node (SGSN). Among them, GPRS stands for General Packet Radio Service (General Packet Radio Service).
After receiving the network attachment request, the SGSN may request authentication from the user information database according to information such as the IMSI number reported by the vehicle-mounted terminal, and authenticate the vehicle-mounted terminal according to the user subscription data issued by the user information database. If the authentication is passed, the SGSN returns an attachment accepting message to the vehicle-mounted terminal.
After that, the in-vehicle terminal may perform network activation. During the network activation, the vehicle-mounted terminal obtains an IP address. The TSP can establish a data channel with the vehicle-mounted terminal according to the IP address of the vehicle-mounted terminal, and realize information interaction with the vehicle-mounted terminal based on the data channel.
In this step, the TSP transmits the second APN to the in-vehicle terminal on which the first SIM card number is arranged through the data path as described above, and receives the change time specified by the in-vehicle terminal.
It should be noted that the change time is a future time determined by the vehicle-mounted terminal, and in the subsequent steps, the vehicle-mounted terminal and the network management device may perform the APN change operation at the change time at the same time, so as to avoid that the vehicle-mounted terminal is passively offline due to inconsistency of the change times.
When the change time is determined, if the vehicle-mounted terminal has a task (such as a remote driving task) which is not completely executed, a certain time point after the task is completely executed can be determined as the change time; otherwise, the in-vehicle terminal may determine any one time point after the current time as the change time, taking into account the time period required for communication.
And 103, receiving the change time forwarded by the TSP, and sending the change time, the first SIM card number and the second APN to the network management device, so that the network management device changes the first APN corresponding to the first SIM card number in the user information database to the second APN at the change time.
Specifically, after receiving the change time, the first SIM card number, and the second APN sent by the SIM card management module, the network management device may change the first APN corresponding to the first SIM card number in the user information database to the second APN at the change time; the vehicle-mounted terminal changes the first APN stored in the local configuration file to the second APN at the change time. Namely, the APN parameters in the local configuration files of the user information database and the vehicle-mounted terminal are changed at the same time.
And then, the vehicle-mounted terminal can reestablish connection with the TSP according to the second APN.
The changed APN can enable the vehicle-mounted terminal to route to the TSP through different target networks. Therefore, before the change time, the vehicle-mounted terminal establishes a first connection with the TSP, wherein the first connection is established based on the first APN; after the change time, the vehicle-mounted terminal establishes a second connection with the TSP, wherein the second connection is established based on the second APN. The APN may be changed, and the in-vehicle terminal may be routed to the TSP through a different target network.
The APN changing method provided by the embodiment of the invention can complete the changing operation of the local configuration file of the vehicle-mounted terminal and the APN parameter in the user information database at the same time, so that the vehicle-mounted terminal can be connected with the target network again according to the new APN parameter, and the problem of networking failure caused by the inconsistency of the local configuration file of the vehicle-mounted terminal and the APN parameter in the user information database is avoided.
Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of an APN changing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the apparatus is applied to a SIM card management module. As shown in fig. 4, the apparatus may include:
the determining unit 31 determines that the APN corresponding to the first SIM card number is to be changed and determines the second APN to be changed. Further, when determining that the APN corresponding to the first SIM card number is to be changed, determining a first APN currently corresponding to the first SIM card number and a second APN to be changed.
A communication unit 32, configured to send the first SIM card number and the second APN to the TSP, so that the TSP sends the second APN to the in-vehicle terminal configured with the first SIM card number, and receive a change time determined by the in-vehicle terminal, where the change time is a time when the in-vehicle terminal changes the first APN of the in-vehicle terminal to the second APN, and a first connection is established based on the first APN; and receiving the change time forwarded by the TSP, and sending the change time, the first SIM card number and the second APN to network management equipment so that the network management equipment changes the first APN corresponding to the first SIM card number in a user information database to the second APN at the change time.
In some embodiments, the determining unit 31 is specifically configured to, when receiving an APN change prompt sent by the TSP, determine, according to the APN change prompt, a first SIM card number to be changed for an APN; or when detecting the update setting of the APN corresponding to the first SIM card number, determining that the APN corresponding to the first SIM card number is to be changed according to the update setting.
