Detailed Description
The technical solutions of the present invention will be described clearly and completely with reference to the accompanying drawings, and it should be understood that the described embodiments are some, but not all embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments of the present invention without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, the present invention provides a method for interfering with the review of the reading eye of a piece of speech, which presents a text material 4 to be read on a display screen 1; a background layer 3 is covered on characters presented by the text material 4; a perspective window 2 which is as high as the line space of a single text and can contain N characters is presented on the text material 4; the perspective window 2 gradually moves backwards along the reading direction on the text line along with the fixation point of the reader, and the characters covered under the background layer are read through the perspective window 2; when the gaze point looks back at the read text, the perspective window 2 stays at the previous gaze point position. The invention designs a window capable of following the forward eye jump of a reader, but the window does not react when jumping backwards, so that the reading habit of the backward eye jump of the reader is blocked.
The invention collects eyeball movement data of a reader by using an eye tracker on the display screen, determines the fixation point of the reader, and enables the perspective window to move backwards along the text reading direction along with the fixation point of the reader, and the fixation point is positioned in the middle of the perspective window. For example, the perspective window has a length capable of accommodating 3-10 Chinese characters, the text in the window area will be displayed where the perspective window passes, and the text in other areas cannot be read by the reader. The perspective window moves along with the fixation point of the reader, only the perspective window can move along the forward reading direction from left to right (or from right to left) according to the text line sequence, and the perspective window cannot move along the reverse reading direction or the downward line-crossing direction. For example, when the fixation point of the reader moves from the fifth line to the seventh line, the perspective window will not move to the seventh line along with the fixation point, but stay at the last reading position of the fifth line, thereby avoiding the omission of reading information caused by line-crossing reading.
In order to remind a reader to start reading, after a text material to be read is presented on a display screen, displaying a countdown board at a text reading starting point position of the display screen, and guiding a fixation point of the reader to move towards the countdown board; when the eye tracker catches the countdown plate, counting down is started, and after the countdown is finished, a perspective window is displayed; the perspective window is translated to the reading direction along with the fixation point of the reader for text reading.
When the perspective window gradually moves to the end of the current reading line, the eye movement instrument detects that the fixation point of the reader reaches the end of the line, and a flashing cursor appears at the reading initial position of the next reading line so as to guide the reader to move the fixation point to the flashing position of the cursor; when the fixation point reaches the cursor flashing position, the cursor flashing position displays a perspective window for the reader to continue reading the line, and the method is repeated until the displayed text material is completely read.
The specific reading steps are exemplified as follows:
firstly, displaying a number '3' on the upper left corner of a display screen, guiding a reader's fixation point to the upper left corner of the screen, and when an eye tracker captures that the reader's fixation point is on the number, starting to invert the number by '3-2-1';
secondly, a reader starts to scan to the right side in parallel, a perspective window is presented by taking the fixation point of the reader as a transverse center, the window gradually translates along with the rightward movement of the fixation point until the end of the line, and in the process, the reader generates backward eye jump, the window is kept still, and only corresponding displacement is carried out according to the backward eye jump;
and thirdly, when the system detects that the fixation point of the reader reaches the end of the Nth row, the system displays the cursor flashing playing a guiding role in the (N + 1) th row to guide the fixation point of the reader, and when the fixation point reaches the position of the flashing cursor, the perspective window is continuously displayed according to the previous step to continue reading.
In addition, as shown in fig. 2, the present invention further provides a speech piece reading eye review interference system, which includes: the system comprises a computer host, a display screen, an eye tracker, a covering program module and a window program module, wherein the covering program module and the window program module are operated in an operation program of the computer host; the computer host is used for storing reading materials; the display screen is connected with the computer host and used for displaying reading materials; the eye tracker is arranged on the display screen, forms data transmission with the computer host, is used for capturing eyeball data of a reader, obtains the fixation point position of the reader on the display screen, and transmits the fixation point position to the computer host, and the eye tracker in the invention preferably adopts a model produced by Tobii Technology company, namely Tobii Pro Fusion; the covering program module is embedded in the running program of the computer host and is used for presenting a background layer on the presented reading text material, and the background layer completely covers the reading text. The background layer presented on the display screen by the covering program module is preferably a gray wallpaper style, or other colors which are the same as the text font and can completely cover the text, which is not described herein again in detail and can be realized by corresponding program instructions.
The window program module is embedded in the running program of the computer host, is presented on the background layer in a perspective window form and is used for displaying characters under the background layer in the window; according to the size of the perspective window, only the characters in the same line of the text can be displayed, the number of the displayed characters is determined according to the length of the perspective window, 3-10 Chinese characters are preferably contained in the perspective window presented by the invention, of course, the characters can be set to be longer or shorter, the characters can be realized through a regulating program, and the fixation point of the reader collected by the eye tracker is positioned in the middle of the perspective window. The height of the perspective window adopted by the invention is preferably a single line spacing, and of course, for a reader trained for a period of time, the perspective window can be set to be wider, for example, two line spacings or more are feasible.
The gaze point of the reader collected by the eye tracker forms program linkage with the center of the perspective window formed on the display screen, the perspective window is controlled to gradually move backwards along the set forward reading direction, and when the gaze point of the reader reversely looks back or looks downwards across a row, the perspective window stays at the position of the last gaze point and is not moved, so that the bad habit of looking back and reading is completely blocked.
In order to better guide the reader to start reading, as shown in fig. 3, the system further includes a reading guidance program module embedded in the running program of the host computer, for presenting the countdown board at the reading start position of the presented reading text material, and guiding the fixation point of the reader to move to the countdown board position for text reading. Of course, other guidance modes can be adopted, such as that a cartoon graph for improving the reading interest of children is positioned at the initial reading position, and a reader waits for the fixation point to arrive.
According to the method, a text material is displayed on a display screen, the initial text material is shielded by the gray wallpaper, an eye tracker on the display screen is used for collecting data of eyeball movement of a reader, a fixation point of the reader is determined, a rectangular perspective window (the width can be adjusted according to the number of words) which is as high as the line spacing of a single text and as wide as N words is formed by taking the fixation point as the center, and the perspective window has a perspective function and can display text information shielded by the gray wallpaper. As the reader reads backwards, the perspective window moves backwards to gradually display the text information. Note that the perspective window moves along with the fixation point of the reader only when the reader jumps towards the forward reading direction, and if the reader reversely looks back for jumping, the perspective window stays at the position of the last fixation point and does not move, so that the reader can be blocked from unconscious looking back during reading, the reading habit of jumping backwards is blocked, and the habit of jumping forwards is gradually formed.
It should be understood that the above examples are only for clarity of illustration and are not intended to limit the embodiments. Other variations and modifications will be apparent to persons skilled in the art in light of the above description. And are neither required nor exhaustive of all embodiments. And obvious variations or modifications therefrom are intended to be within the scope of the invention.
