Detailed Description
In order to solve the technical problem of how to more comprehensively detect the infrared touch screen in the prior art, the invention provides a reliability verification method and a reliability verification system for the infrared touch screen.
Example 1:
in this embodiment, there is provided a reliability verification method of an infrared touch screen, the method being performed by a verification system, and including:
receiving a touch action; the touch action is generated by touching the infrared touch screen by the fingers of a worker, or by touching the infrared touch screen by the worker by manipulating a touch bar with a preset cross section area;
in terms of the other angle, when the infrared touch screen is touched by a finger or a touch bar of a worker, since the infrared transmitting tubes of the infrared touch screen periodically transmit, after all the infrared transmitting tubes on the V side of the infrared touch screen transmit infrared rays, the infrared rays transmitted by one infrared transmitting tube are blocked by the finger or the touch bar, so that the corresponding infrared transmitting tube cannot receive the infrared rays, and at the moment, the control system of the infrared touch screen can obtain the horizontal coordinates of the finger or the touch bar;
after all infrared transmitting tubes on the H side of the infrared touch screen transmit infrared rays, the infrared rays transmitted by one infrared transmitting tube are blocked by a finger or a touch bar, so that the corresponding infrared receiving tube cannot receive the infrared rays, and at the moment, a control system of the infrared touch screen can obtain the ordinate of the finger or the touch bar; when the control system obtains the abscissa and the ordinate, the control system obtains the touch action of the finger or the touch bar.
A position verification step of judging whether the received position of the touch action is matched with the position of the touch image displaying the touch action or not, and obtaining a position judgment result; the control system of the infrared touch screen is at least integrated with a graphic display function, which is known to the person skilled in the art; when the control system receives a touch action, the corresponding display of an image on the infrared touch screen is realized through an image display function;
specifically, the position verification step includes:
obtaining a touch coordinate threshold of a touch action in a first coordinate system, wherein the first coordinate system is associated with an infrared emitter of an infrared touch screen;
converting the touch coordinate threshold value into touch center point coordinates through a preset formula;
obtaining a mapping coordinate positioned in a second coordinate system according to the touch center point coordinate, wherein the second coordinate system is associated with an image displayed by the infrared touch screen;
changing the color of the image matching the mapping coordinates;
if the position of the image with the changed color is matched with the position for receiving the touch action, the position judgment result is matched;
if the position of the color-changed image and the position of the touch operation are not matched, the position judgment result is that the color-changed image and the position of the touch operation are not matched.
The infrared touch screen is provided with a first coordinate system and a second coordinate system, wherein the first coordinate system corresponds to an infrared transmitting tube (infrared transmitter) of the infrared touch screen, and the second coordinate system corresponds to an image displayed by a display screen of the infrared touch screen; within the control system, configuring the first coordinate system and the second coordinate system to have origin points coincident; after receiving the touch action, the control system obtains the coordinate of the touch action in a first coordinate system, and converts the coordinate in the first coordinate system into a second coordinate system to obtain the coordinate of the touch action in the second coordinate system; the control system changes the color of the image displayed on the display screen of the infrared touch screen according to the coordinates of the second coordinate system; thus, the worker or the visual processing device for inspection can obtain the position of the finger or the touch bar relative to the image of which the color is changed in the same line of sight, thereby judging whether the positions are matched.
In practical application, a click test scheme is adopted first, and a position verification step is executed; specific:
powering on the infrared touch screen; a monochrome image with a grid is displayed on an infrared touch screen, for example: a black image having a grid; for ease of understanding, a monochromatic image with a grid may be considered to be a plurality of primitive components of equal area; the infrared touch screen is provided with a control system, so that the control system configures a first coordinate system for the infrared transmitting tube and the infrared receiving tube, and configures a second coordinate system for the monochromatic image with the grid to contact the infrared touch screen by adopting a touch bar die, and the origins of the first coordinate system and the second coordinate system coincide, wherein each graphic element is matched with one coordinate of the second coordinate system respectively; the touch bar with the preset cross-sectional area is configured to be smaller than the area of the graphic element, so that the graphic element is prevented from being shielded by the touch bar, and a worker can observe the graphic element touched by the touch bar conveniently; touching one of the graphic elements on the infrared touch screen by using a touch bar to form a click test; at the moment, the infrared touch screen receives a first coordinate of the touch action in a first coordinate system, maps the first coordinate to a second coordinate system, obtains a second coordinate of the touch action in the second coordinate system, obtains a graphic element matched with the second coordinate, and changes the color of the graphic element by a control system of the infrared touch screen so that chromatic aberration exists between the graphic element after the color change and other graphic elements in an image; the realization of the staff captures the contact position of the touch bar contacted on the infrared touch screen and the color-changing position of the graphic element with the color changed on the display screen of the infrared touch screen, if the touch position coincides with the color-changing position, the position judgment result is obtained as a matched judgment result, otherwise, the position judgment result is obtained as a non-matched result.
Specifically, after a touch is received, the control system of the infrared touch screen calculates and obtains a center coordinate by adopting the following formulas:
obtaining the minimum coordinate of the X-axis direction:
Xminpos=xmin*N+((vxmin-basemin)*N)/(threhmin-basemin);
wherein xmin represents the serial number of the minimum receiving tube (the infrared receiving tube with the smallest serial number) which is shielded in the x direction, N is the light intensity variation value, vxmin is the voltage value acquired when the xmin receiving tube is shielded, basemin is the 0-state voltage value of the xmin receiving tube, and threhmin is the 1-state voltage value of the xmin receiving tube.
Obtaining the maximum coordinate in the X-axis direction:
Xmaxpos=(xmax+1)*N-((vxmax)-basemax)*N)/(threhmax-basemax);
wherein xmax is the serial number of the largest receiving tube (the infrared receiving tube with the largest serial number) which is shielded in the X-axis direction, vxmax is the voltage value acquired when the max receiving tube is shielded, basemax is the 0-state voltage of xmax, and threhmax is the 1-state voltage of max;
obtaining the central coordinate of the X-axis direction:
xpos=(Xminpos+Xmaxpos)/2;
the center coordinates in the Y-axis direction can also be calculated using the above formulas.
After the central coordinates are obtained, the control system of the infrared touch screen obtains the graphic elements matched with the central coordinates, and changes the colors of the graphic elements.
An improved test scheme is: the double click test, which adopts two touch bars to touch the infrared touch screen at the same time, needs to obtain the center coordinates of each touch bar, and changes the color of the matched primitive according to the corresponding change of each center coordinate; for convenience of distinction, the color of the primitive with the matched central coordinates of the first touch bar is changed to a first color, the color of the primitive with the matched central coordinates of the second touch bar is changed to a second color, and the first color and the second color have obvious chromatic aberration, for example: the first color is green and the second color is red.
Preferably, the method further comprises:
and a change mode verification step, wherein the infrared touch screen is configured with a daytime control mode and a night control mode, and the position verification step is respectively executed in the daytime control mode and the night control mode.
An improved test scheme is: changing a working mode test, wherein the infrared touch screen is provided with a first mode and a second mode, the first mode is a daytime control mode, and the second mode is a nighttime control mode; and respectively setting the working modes of the infrared touch screen into a first mode and a second mode, and verifying through the click test scheme and the double-click test scheme.
A data packet verification step, namely sending a data packet, judging whether the data packet is matched with a preset condition, and obtaining a data packet judgment result;
the infrared touch screen is touched by a finger or a touch bar only, so that the reliability of the infrared touch screen is judged to be incomplete, for example: in actual use, the infrared touch screen can receive touch actions, and the control system of the infrared touch screen is utilized to convert the touch actions into image display and display the image display on the display screen of the infrared touch screen; however, in a state that the infrared touch screen is in communication with the external device, the communication state between the infrared touch screen and the external device is required to be maintained by means of a heartbeat packet; that is, the infrared touch screen is only checked by touching with a finger or a touch bar, and it is impossible to check that the infrared touch screen and an external device maintain a communication state through a heartbeat packet.
In order to verify the communication state between the infrared touch screen and the external device, before the infrared touch screen leaves the factory or before the infrared touch screen is actually used, a serial port debugging assistant can be adopted to match with the infrared touch screen so as to simulate the communication mode between the infrared touch screen and the external device, the serial port debugging assistant is utilized to receive a data packet sent by the infrared touch screen, the data packet displayed by the serial port debugging assistant is judged by a worker, and a judging result of the data packet is obtained according to preset conditions.
Preferably, the method further comprises:
when a touch action is received, starting timing;
dividing an image into a shielding region and a non-shielding region according to a touch action;
if the counted time meets the first preset time, waiting for receiving a first verification touch action at the shielding area or receiving a second verification touch action at the non-shielding area;
respectively executing a position verification step according to the first verification touch action and the second verification touch action;
waiting for receiving a third verification touch action after losing the touch action;
executing a position verification step according to the third verification touch action;
in practical application, after the click test scheme, a touch seizure test may be performed:
specifically, if the time that the infrared touch screen is touched by a touch action meets the preset time, the control system of the infrared touch screen should determine that the touch is invalid, and at the same time, shield the coordinate acquisition function of the abscissa area and the ordinate area related to the touch action; for convenience of description, the abscissa and ordinate regions are collectively referred to as a shielding region, and the remaining regions are referred to as non-shielding regions.
The method comprises the steps that an infrared touch screen is in communication connection with a PC provided with a serial port debugging assistant, after the infrared touch screen and the serial port debugging assistant form communication, the infrared touch screen sends a heartbeat packet to the serial port debugging assistant in a non-touch state, and the infrared touch screen sends data to the serial port debugging assistant in a touch state;
selecting a first touch bar to touch the infrared touch screen, keeping the first touch bar stationary relative to the infrared touch screen after touching, and starting timing at the moment; one of the preset conditions is 20 seconds or 25 seconds, after 20 seconds or 25 seconds, changing colors of a plurality of primitives corresponding to the coordinates of the first touch bar on the image, so that the position of a shielding area is displayed, and the images with the remaining unchanged colors are the positions of non-shielding areas; the second touch bar is adopted to touch the position of the 'shielding area' and the position of the 'non-shielding area', if the color of the picture element of the shielding area is not changed when the second touch bar touches the position of the 'shielding area', a qualified result of verification is obtained, otherwise, if one picture element is changed in color, a unqualified result of verification is obtained; if the primitive of the 'non-shielded area' is not changed in color when the second touch bar touches the position of the 'non-shielded area', a result of failed verification is obtained, whereas if one primitive is changed in color, a result of failed verification is obtained.
After the aforementioned touch seizure test, the first touch bar is removed, and theoretically, the infrared touch screen should cancel the shielding area; to verify this function, after the first touch bar is removed, the original ' shielded area ' and the original non-shielded area ' are re-touched with the second touch bar; if the result that the color of the graphic primitive is changed can be obtained after the two positions are touched respectively, obtaining a qualified result of verification; otherwise, if the primitive at one of the positions is not changed in color, a mark that fails the verification is obtained.
And (3) environment verification test: in one of the application scenes of the infrared touch screen, the phenomenon that the ambient light intensity is changed possibly occurs, so that when the ambient light intensity becomes high, the effect of receiving the infrared receiving tube is possibly influenced by the ambient light intensity; for example: if the infrared touch screen is applied to an airplane, the airplane may fly in a reverse light manner in the flying process, and the ambient light intensity at the moment is lower, or may fly in a forward light manner, and the sunlight directly irradiates the infrared touch screen at the moment, namely, the ambient light intensity is higher.
Preferably, the method further comprises:
a change light intensity verification step of changing the light intensity of the light irradiated on the infrared touch panel to a target light intensity higher than the natural light intensity
Executing a data packet verification step under the condition of target light intensity;
if the data packet is matched with the preset condition as a result of the data packet verification step, waiting for receiving a touch action;
after receiving the touch action, performing a position verification step;
if the position judgment result is that the target light intensity is matched, changing the target light intensity into natural light intensity;
the packet verification step is performed at natural light intensity.
When the environment verification test is actually executed, the environment light intensity is changed by adopting the setting of the analog light source, and preferably, the analog light source can be directly irradiated on an infrared receiving tube of the infrared touch screen; the infrared touch screen is in communication connection with a PC with a serial port debugging assistant, and workers observe data received by the serial port debugging assistant under the two conditions of low light intensity and high light intensity respectively; under the condition of high light intensity, if the infrared touch screen is not touched, the serial port debugging assistant only can receive the heartbeat packet, if the heartbeat packet is received, or the heartbeat packet cannot be received, the verification is disqualified, otherwise, if the heartbeat packet is received, the serial port debugging assistant enters the next step; touching the infrared touch screen by a touch bar, if the touch data can not be received, verifying the infrared touch screen to be unqualified, otherwise, if the touch data is received, entering the next step; the high light intensity is changed to low light intensity, and at this time, the infrared touch screen is not touched by the touch bar, so that if the heartbeat packet cannot be received or the heartbeat packet is not received, the verification is not qualified, otherwise, if the heartbeat packet is received, the verification is qualified.
Preferably, the method further comprises:
receiving a touch action;
dividing an image into a shielding region and a non-shielding region according to a touch action;
firstly, executing a position verification step, and then executing a data packet verification step;
in one of the test schemes, a large area touch test (palm test) is required;
specifically, the infrared touch screen is in communication connection with a PC with a serial port debugging assistant, firstly, under the condition that the infrared touch screen is not touched, the serial port debugging assistant can receive a heartbeat packet sent by the infrared touch screen, meanwhile, the serial port debugging assistant cannot receive touch information, if the serial port debugging assistant receives the touch information, the inspection is disqualified, otherwise, if the serial port debugging assistant only receives the heartbeat packet, the next step is carried out; the method comprises the steps that a palm or an object with the area similar to that of the palm is contacted with an infrared touch screen, at the moment, the infrared touch screen is converted into touch data from a heartbeat sending packet, if the data received by a serial port debugging assistant is not converted into the touch data, the inspection is disqualified, and if the data received by the serial port debugging assistant is not converted into the touch data, the next step is carried out; after removing the palm or object, the infrared touch screen should transition from sending touch data to sending heartbeat packets, if the serial number assistant does not receive a heartbeat packet, the inspection is failed, otherwise, if the serial number debugging assistant receives a heartbeat packet, the inspection is passed.
Preferably, the method further comprises:
receiving a touch action;
when the touch action is lost, the data packet verification step is executed first, and then the position verification step is executed.
In one of the application scenarios of the infrared touch screen, the environment where the infrared touch screen is located condenses water mist, so that the water mist on the infrared touch screen is mistakenly regarded as a touch action. In order to check whether the infrared touch screen can recover the touch function after removing the water mist, the water mist test was performed as follows:
connecting the infrared touch screen with a PC with a serial port debugging assistant; firstly, arranging an infrared touch screen in a low-temperature environment, keeping the infrared touch screen for a sufficient time, then transferring the infrared touch screen from the low-temperature environment to a room-temperature environment, and simulating the phenomenon that the infrared touch screen is covered by water mist in a natural water mist condensation mode; after the water mist is not erased, observing the serial port debugging assistant, if the serial port debugging assistant does not receive the data packet, checking to be unqualified, otherwise, if the serial port debugging assistant receives the data packet, entering the next step; and (3) touching the infrared touch screen by using the touch pad, if one of the graphic elements on the infrared touch screen is changed in color and the position of the graphic element with the changed color is the same as the position of the touch bar contacting the infrared touch screen, checking to be qualified, otherwise, if the graphic element is not changed in color or the position in the graphic element with the changed color is different from the position of the touch bar contacting the infrared touch screen, checking to be unqualified.
A track verification step, namely judging whether the received motion track of the touch action is matched with a track image for displaying the touch action, and obtaining a track judgment result;
the track verification step depends on the aforementioned position determination step, and in general, the track verification step is performed after the determination result of the position determination step is a match.
The track verification step is a verification mode that a finger or a touch bar moves on the infrared touch screen along a preset track, so that the infrared touch screen receives a plurality of continuous touch signals and displays the touch signals through the changed color images respectively. Among these, how to move a finger or a touch bar along a preset trajectory on an infrared touch screen becomes a problem to be solved.
According to the first solution, a manipulator is arranged, the touch bar is controlled by the manipulator to touch the infrared touch screen, and the manipulator is used for driving the touch bar to slide on the infrared touch screen so as to realize movement along a preset track; the manipulator is controlled by a program, and can directly perform linear sliding motion and curved sliding motion, which are common knowledge known to those skilled in the art, and are not described herein.
In the second solution, an auxiliary tool is provided on the infrared touch screen, and sliding of the finger or the touch bar is limited by the auxiliary tool.
Specifically, the track verification step includes:
covering an auxiliary tool on the infrared touch screen before receiving the touch action, wherein the auxiliary tool is configured into a transparent flat plate shape, and a hole or a groove or a straight line edge or a curve edge is arranged on the auxiliary tool; the auxiliary tool is configured in a flat plate shape, and the purpose of the auxiliary tool is to reduce the processing cost of the auxiliary tool, and the auxiliary tool is made of transparent materials, such as: transparent glass or transparent resin or transparent plastic, the purpose of which is to facilitate the observation of the images displayed on the display screen of the infrared touch screen by the staff.
Obtaining a linear motion track or a curve motion track of a touch action through an auxiliary tool; because the auxiliary tool is provided with the hole, the groove, the straight line edge or the curve edge, a mode similar to a multifunctional drawing board is adopted, and the finger or the touch bar is limited in a moving path through the auxiliary tool, so that the finger or the touch bar can form preset tracks of a plurality of touch actions relative to the infrared touch screen through the auxiliary tool, for example: a straight line trajectory or a curved trajectory.
Judging whether the line image formed by changing the color in the image accords with the linear motion track or the curve motion track; after the infrared touch screen receives a plurality of touch actions, correspondingly changing the image displayed by the display screen of the infrared touch screen; at the moment, the sight of the staff can observe the image through the auxiliary tool, and then the preset track and the image can be judged;
if the line image accords with the linear motion track or the curve motion track, the track judgment result is matching; wherein, at least two conditions need to be executed, the first condition is that the color-changed image should be in a straight line shape or a curve shape, and the motion track of the finger or the touch bar is compared with the color-changed image; a second condition that the position of the color-changed image is compared with the position of the motion trajectory; and if the two paths are matched respectively, obtaining a track judgment result as a matched result.
If the line image does not accord with the linear motion track or the curve motion track, the track judgment result is unmatched; it is also necessary to execute the two conditions as described above, and if one of the conditions does not match, a result is obtained in which the track determination result is a mismatch.
In actual use, firstly, sliding slowly along the periphery of the touch screen, and carrying out a slow peripheral linear drawing test;
specifically, a touch bar or a finger is adopted to match with an auxiliary tool to draw a linear track at the peripheral position of the touch screen; comparing the graph formed by the color-changed graphic elements displayed on the infrared touch screen with the drawn straight line track, if the two paths are the same, checking to be qualified, otherwise, if the graph is not displayed, or the graph is not displayed completely and disappears, or if the displayed graph has break points, jumps, or obvious delay phenomenon visible to naked eyes, checking to be unqualified.
An improved test scheme: the periphery of the infrared touch screen slides slowly, and a spiral line test is performed by drawing slowly around:
in the test scheme, compared with the slow four-circle linear test, only the adopted auxiliary tool is slightly different, the sliding track is the track of the curve (spiral line), and the rest tracks are the same, so that the description is omitted.
An improved test scheme: performing a double-point touch scribing test on the diagonal direction of the infrared touch screen;
in the test scheme, compared with the slow four-circle line drawing test, only the adopted auxiliary tool is slightly different, the sliding is two mutually-crossed straight lines, and the rest straight lines are respectively identical, so that the repeated description is omitted.
An improved test scheme: testing a double-point drawing curve;
in the test scheme, two touch bars are adopted to draw the same curve on the infrared touch screen at the same time, and the test scheme is similar to the diagonal direction double-point touch line drawing test, and is not repeated here.
An improved test scheme: randomly writing and testing;
in this test scheme, the difference from the foregoing test scheme is that the auxiliary tool is omitted, and the rest is the same as the foregoing scheme, respectively, and will not be repeated here.
Preferably, the method further comprises:
receiving a first touch action, and keeping the first touch action for a preset time length;
and before the first touch action disappears, receiving a second touch action, and executing a track verification step according to the second touch action.
An improved test scheme: one point is motionless and the other is a dot-dash line;
in the test scheme, on one hand, a first touch bar is firstly contacted with an infrared touch screen, and after the first touch bar is contacted with the infrared touch screen, a second touch bar is adopted to draw a straight line or a curve on the infrared touch screen, and the rest is the same as the slow four-circle line drawing test, and the description is omitted.
A response time verification step, namely judging that the time interval of two adjacent data packets transmitted meets a preset time interval, and obtaining a response time judgment result;
in the foregoing, the infrared touch screen simulates communication between the infrared touch screen and the external device through the serial port debugging assistant, and the serial port debugging assistant can receive and display the data packet sent by the infrared touch screen. However, the reliability of the infrared touch screen cannot be sufficiently demonstrated only by receiving the data packet, and in practical use, the response speed of the infrared touch screen is also important. The serial port debugging assistant can only display the data packet, so that a worker can conveniently judge the communication function of the infrared touch screen and the external device, but the response time of the infrared touch screen cannot be reflected.
Therefore, the response time for an infrared touch screen needs to be checked using other means. The method comprises the steps of adopting an oscilloscope to communicate with an infrared touch screen, displaying waveforms of data packets sent by the infrared touch screen by using the oscilloscope, wherein the waveforms displayed by the oscilloscope are periodic due to the periodicity of time intervals of the data packets; the response time of the data packet may be obtained by a worker reading the waveform and parameters (e.g., time parameters) on the oscilloscope, including but not limited to: the time interval between two adjacent data packets.
Preferably, the method further comprises:
before receiving the touch action, executing a data packet judging step;
obtaining the waveform of the data packet;
judging whether the period of the waveform meets a second preset time or not;
after receiving the touch action and before losing the touch action, executing a data packet judging step;
after losing the touch action, the packet judgment step is performed.
In the actual test, in the process of communicating the infrared touch screen with the external device, under the condition that the infrared touch screen does not receive touch, the infrared touch screen should send a heartbeat packet to the external device; therefore, whether the data of the heartbeat packet are normal or not is also one of the reliability conditions for judging the infrared touch screen;
touch response performance test scheme:
the infrared touch screen is respectively connected with the oscilloscope and the PC with the serial port debugging assistant, on one hand, the interval time of the heartbeat packet is observed through the oscilloscope, judgment is carried out through the observed interval time and the preset time interval of the heartbeat packet, if the preset time interval of the heartbeat packet is met, the inspection is qualified, otherwise, if the preset time interval of the heartbeat packet is not met, the inspection is failed; and (3) observing the data of the heartbeat package by using a serial port debugging assistant, if the data of the heartbeat package accords with the data threshold value of the normal heartbeat package, checking to be qualified, otherwise, if the data of the heartbeat package does not accord with the data threshold value of the heartbeat package, checking to be unqualified. When the infrared touch screen receives touch, the infrared touch screen is converted from sending a heartbeat packet to sending touch data, at the moment, the serial port debugging assistant receives and displays the touch data, judges whether the touch data meets a preset touch data threshold value, if yes, the inspection is qualified, otherwise, if not, the inspection is unqualified. After the infrared touch screen loses the touch action, the infrared touch screen is converted from sending touch data to sending a heartbeat packet, at the moment, the serial port debugging assistant receives and displays the heartbeat packet data, if the heartbeat packet is not received, or the received heartbeat packet data does not meet the data threshold of the heartbeat packet, the inspection is unqualified, otherwise, if the received heartbeat packet data meets the data threshold, the inspection is qualified.
If one of the position judgment result, the data packet judgment result, the track judgment result and the corresponding time judgment result is not matched, a verification result with low reliability of the infrared touch screen is obtained.
In the prior art, a mode of manually checking an infrared touch screen is adopted, and a judgment result is obtained only through a touch action applied by a worker on the infrared touch screen and according to a color-changing pattern displayed on the infrared touch screen; in other words, the inspection method in the prior art can only obtain a determination result of whether or not the position of the color change image matches the position of the touch operation.
In this embodiment, the step of performing position verification is performed, where a determination result is obtained by using whether the position of the color-changing image matches the position of the touch action (equivalent to a determination result in the prior art that whether the position of the color-changing image matches the position of the touch action), the step of performing packet verification is performed, a communication verification result of the infrared touch screen and the external device is obtained, the step of performing track verification is performed, a determination result of whether the color-changing image matches the preset track is obtained, the step of performing response time verification is performed, and a determination result of the response speed of the infrared touch screen is obtained. Now, to the verification mode of the prior art, the verification mode of this embodiment is more comprehensive, solves the technical problem of how to more comprehensively detect the infrared touch screen in the prior art.
Example 2:
in this embodiment, a verification system is provided for performing the reliability verification method of the outside-air touch screen as in the foregoing embodiment 1.
Specifically, the verification system includes;
the touch bar is used for triggering and receiving touch actions;
