At present, many video platforms only support single-screen playing, that is, only one video can be played in one playing page at the same time; in this single-screen playing mode, the user's operation may be limited to some extent, such as:
(1) Currently playing pages can only push limited videos, which are usually automatically generated by algorithms and associated with the main video, or videos that may be of interest to the user, but many times the generated videos are not of interest to the user.
(2) Clicking other videos on the page typically jumps out from the current video, or depending on implementation, may retain the original page tag and enter a new video tag. In which case the user can only switch back and forth between multiple pages to achieve simultaneous viewing of the video.
(3) In the multi-screen play mode, the home page and search functions cannot be tightly integrated with the play video page. When the user uses the "home" and "search" functions, the user jumps from the video playing page, and cannot browse and search other contents while watching the video.
In order to improve the watching experience of a user, a function of realizing multi-screen playing can be designed, namely the user can watch other videos on the same page while watching the current video; however, how to implement recommendation and search for videos in a multi-screen playing scene becomes a technical problem to be solved by technicians.
The present application provides a video display method, which solves the problems of video recommendation and video search in a multi-screen playing scenario, and also relates to a video display apparatus, a computing device, and a computer-readable storage medium, which are described in detail in the following embodiments one by one.
Fig. 1 shows a flowchart of a video display method according to an embodiment of the present application, which specifically includes the following steps:
step 102: and if the fact that the main video and the at least one split-screen video are played is detected, displaying a first recommendation information set determined based on the main video in a recommendation area.
The main video is a video displayed as the main video on a video playing page; the split-screen video refers to a video displayed as a split-screen video on a video playing page; the recommendation area is an area for displaying the recommended video, and the position and the size of the recommendation area in the playing page can be set according to actual requirements; the first recommendation information set is a recommendation information set determined according to the main video, wherein the recommendation information set mainly comprises information of a recommendation video related to the main video; the at least one split screen video refers to one or more split screen videos; in this embodiment, there is only one main video, one or more split-screen videos may be provided, the main video and at least one split-screen video may be simultaneously played in the current playing page, and the number of the specific split-screen videos is subject to actual conditions and is not specifically limited.
Specifically, if it is detected that a main video and at least one split-screen video are played in a current page, that is, the main video and the split-screen videos are simultaneously played in the same playing page, what is displayed in the recommendation area may be a video set, that is, a recommendation information set, associated with the main video in the current playing page, for example, if the main video is a comedy movie with three lead actors, then what is displayed in the recommendation area may be a recommendation information set composed of an action movie with three lead actors, a tv show with three lead actors, and the like; the method for generating the recommended video set may be to obtain videos related to the video information as recommended videos according to the video information of the main video, for example, actor information in the videos, video types of the videos, and the like, and may also obtain recommended videos generated according to the video information of the main video and a personalized recommendation algorithm, for example, to obtain movie videos related to the main video based on the lead actor information of the main video and the preference information of the user to form the recommended information set.
In a specific embodiment of the present application, taking a main video as an animation video as an example, one main video and two split-screen videos are being played in a playing page a, where the main video is the animation video, the split-screen video 1 is a food video, and the split-screen video 2 is a comedy video; in the playing page A, the right side of the playing area is a recommendation area, and a recommendation information set generated according to the animation video is displayed in the recommendation area.
The recommendation information set related to the main video is displayed in the recommendation area under the condition that the main video and at least one split-screen video are played, so that a user can conveniently select an interested recommendation video from the recommendation information set to be displayed as a newly-added split-screen video or main video on a playing page, or replace the main video or the split-screen video which is displayed on the current page, the user can complete the selection of the video on the playing page, and the video selection efficiency and experience of the user are improved.
Step 104: and receiving a main video switching instruction.
The main video switching instruction refers to an instruction for switching the video type of a video in a playing page, wherein the video type comprises a main video type and a split screen video type; only one video of the main video type exists in one playing page; after receiving the main video switching instruction, determining a split screen video from the split screen videos of the current playing page, and modifying the video type of the split screen video into the main video type to obtain a new main video of the current playing page. The received main video switching instruction may be triggered by a user, or when a new split-screen video is added, the system sets the new split-screen video as the main video to be displayed and generated in a playing page, and a specific method for obtaining the main video switching instruction is not particularly limited.
In a specific embodiment of the present application, taking an animation video as a main video as an example, an animation video of a main video type and a movie video and a television play video of a split screen video type are played in a current playing page; a user clicks a movie video in a playing page to trigger a main video switching instruction; and receiving a main video trigger instruction, responding to the main video trigger instruction, modifying the video type of the movie video into the main video type, namely displaying the movie video as a new main video on a playing page, and modifying the video type of the animation video into a split-screen video, namely continuously displaying the animation video as the split-screen video on the playing page.
In another specific embodiment of the present application, taking movie videos and animation videos as examples, a movie video of a main video type and an animation video of a split screen video type are played in a currently playing page; the method comprises the steps that a user newly adds a TV play video in a recommended video list in a current playing page to be displayed on the current playing page, at the moment, a main video switching instruction is triggered, the TV play video is displayed on the current playing page as a main video in response to the main video switching instruction, and the original main video, namely a movie video and an original animation video of a split screen video type are displayed on the current page as split screen videos.
By receiving the main video switching instruction, the main video of the playing page is switched, so that a user can conveniently determine one video in the playing page to watch, and a recommendation information set is conveniently generated based on the main video to be displayed in a recommendation area.
Step 106: and responding to the main video switching instruction, determining a target split screen video in the at least one split screen video, and switching the target split screen video into a current main video.
The target split-screen video is a split-screen video determined in at least one split-screen video based on the main video switching instruction; the current main video refers to a video with the video type of the video in the current playing page as the main video.
Specifically, the method for determining the target split-screen video in the at least one split-screen video in response to the received main video switching instruction comprises the following steps:
determining a video identifier in the main video switching instruction;
and determining a target split-screen video in the at least one split-screen video according to the video identification.
The video identifier refers to a field that can uniquely identify a video, for example, the video identifier of video a may be "a"; after the video identification is obtained, determining a split-screen video corresponding to the video identification as a target split-screen video in at least one split-screen video based on the video identification.
In a specific embodiment of the present application, taking a movie video as an example, a main video switching instruction is received, and a video identifier in the main video switching instruction is determined to be "video 1"; the main video contained in the current playing page is an animation video, the split-screen video 1 is a movie video, and the split-screen video 2 is a television video; and determining the target split screen video as the movie video in the movie video and the television video based on the video identifier "video 1".
And determining a target split-screen video in at least one split-screen video through the video identifier in the main video switching instruction, so that the determined target split-screen video can be conveniently displayed as a main video in the follow-up process.
After the target split-screen video is determined, the target split-screen video can be displayed in the current playing page as the main video.
In a specific embodiment of the present application, taking an animation video as an example, a comedy video of a main video type and a movie video and an animation video of a split-screen video type included in a currently playing page; receiving a main video switching instruction, and determining video identification animation in the main video switching instruction in response to the main video switching instruction; determining an animation video of a split-screen video type in split-screen videos in a current playing page based on the video identification, converting the split-screen video type of the animation video into a main video type, and modifying the main video type of the comedy video into the split-screen video type; and displaying the animation video serving as the current main video on the current playing page, and displaying the comedy video serving as the split-screen video on the current playing page.
By determining the target split-screen video, switching the main video by the target split-screen video and displaying the target split-screen video as the current main video, a user can conveniently switch the interested video as the main video at any time,
step 108: and acquiring a second recommendation information set of the current main video, and displaying the second recommendation information set in the recommendation area.
The second recommendation information set refers to a recommendation information set determined according to the current main video, for example, the second recommendation information set may be a recommendation animation video set, wherein the recommendation animation video set is determined based on the current main video animation video.
The method for specifically acquiring the second recommendation information set of the current main video comprises the following steps:
acquiring video information of the current main video;
and generating a second recommendation information set based on a preset recommendation rule and the video information.
The video information refers to video information of a current main video, for example, the current main video is a movie video, and the video information of the movie video may be actor information of a movie (for example, the movie is given by zhang san actor), a genre of the movie (for example, a comedy movie, an action movie), and the like; the preset recommendation rule refers to a preset rule for determining recommendation information, for example, the preset recommendation rule is a rule for acquiring a movie-type video as a recommended video.
After the video information of the current main video is obtained, the probability that the obtained second recommendation information set contains the video which is interested by the user is higher by the method of generating the second recommendation information set based on the preset recommendation rule and the video information, so that the user is prevented from searching videos in other pages, and the watching experience of the user is improved.
In a specific embodiment of the present application, taking an example that a current main video is a comedy video, a preset recommendation rule is obtained based on preference information of a user's favorite videos, specifically, a rule for recommending the favorite videos to the user; the current main video is a comedy video, and video information of the comedy video is acquired, wherein the video information comprises actor information of the comedy video; and generating a second recommendation information set containing the phase sound videos according to the actor information of the comedy videos and preset recommendation rules for recommending the comedy videos for the user.
The second recommendation information set is generated through the preset recommendation rule and the video information, the probability that videos which are interested by the user are contained in the second recommendation information set is improved, and therefore the efficiency of selecting the recommended videos by the user is improved.
In practical application, the specific method for displaying the second recommendation information set in the recommendation area includes:
and replacing the first recommendation information set with the second recommendation information set in the recommendation area.
Specifically, after the second recommendation information set is determined, the second recommendation information set is performed in the recommendation area in place of the first recommendation information set, so that after the current main video is determined, the recommendation information set related to the current main video can be viewed in the recommendation area of the current playing page; the user can select a recommended video from the recommended information set to add to the playing area for displaying.
In a specific embodiment of the application, taking the current main video as a movie video as an example, before a main video switching instruction is received, the main video of a current playing page is an animation video, and a recommendation information set displayed in a recommendation area corresponding to the animation video is a first recommendation information set { animation video 3, animation video 5, animation video 1. }; after receiving and responding to a main video switching instruction, determining that the current main video is a movie video, and displaying the second recommendation information set in a recommendation area instead of the first recommendation information set, wherein the recommendation information set corresponding to the movie video is a second recommendation information set { movie video 4, movie video 9 and movie video 3 }, so that the recommendation information set related to the main video is displayed in the recommendation area.
The first recommendation information set replaces the second recommendation information set to be displayed in the recommendation area, so that the recommendation information set related to the current main video is displayed in the recommendation area all the time, a user can select the video related to the current main video conveniently, the recommendation information set of the main video is only displayed under the condition that a plurality of videos are played on a playing page at the same time, and the selection efficiency of the user is improved.
In an embodiment of the application, under a mode that a plurality of videos are played on the same page at the same time through front-end technologies such as html, css and javascript, the main video and interaction information and recommendation information sets related to the main video are bound, and when a user is more interested in a certain video in a played page, the recommendation information and interaction information related to the main video can be displayed through switching the main video.
In practical application, in addition to selecting the recommended video in the recommendation area, the recommended video can be subjected to segment preview in the recommendation area, and based on the video preview of the recommended video, the user can further determine whether to select the recommended video for watching.
Specifically, the method for obtaining the second recommendation information set of the current main video and previewing the recommended video in the recommendation area after the second recommendation information set is displayed in the recommendation area includes:
receiving a recommendation information preview instruction, and determining target recommendation information in the second recommendation information set according to the recommendation information preview instruction;
and acquiring recommendation preview information corresponding to the target recommendation information, and displaying the recommendation preview information in the recommendation area.
The recommendation information preview instruction refers to an instruction for previewing recommendation information in a recommendation information set; the target recommendation information refers to a recommendation video determined in a recommendation information set, wherein the recommendation information set refers to a recommendation information set determined based on a current main video, such as a second recommendation information set; the recommended preview information refers to previewable video clips of the recommended video, for example, the recommended preview information of the recommended video is video clips of the 1 st to 10 th seconds of the recommended video; the way of presenting the recommendation preview information in the recommendation area may be in a picture-in-picture form, or embedding the recommendation preview information in a play page, etc.
In practical application, the display mode of the recommended preview information can be distinguished according to different video display technologies of the terminal device, for example, the recommended preview information is displayed in a form of an embedded playing page at a webpage end, and is displayed in a form of picture-in-picture, namely an independent playing window at a mobile phone client end, or can be distinguished according to different terminal devices, for example, the recommended preview information is displayed in a form of picture-in-picture, namely an independent playing window at a computer end, and is displayed in a form of an embedded playing page at a mobile phone end; the method for displaying the recommended preview information is not specifically limited in the present application, and is subject to actual application.
In a specific embodiment of the application, by taking an animation video as an example, a recommendation information preview instruction is received, a recommendation video identifier in a recommendation information preset instruction is determined in response to the recommendation information preview instruction, and a target recommendation video is determined to be the animation video in a recommendation information set { animation video, movie video. } displayed in a recommendation area; acquiring a preview animation video clip corresponding to the animation video; and displaying the preview animation video clip in the recommended area of the current playing page.
The target recommendation information is determined through the received recommendation information preview instruction, and the recommendation preview information corresponding to the target recommendation information is displayed in the recommendation area, so that a user can preview the recommendation video in the recommendation area, and the recommendation video is added to the playing area to be watched after the recommendation video is determined to be interesting, and the user can select the video to be watched conveniently.
In practical application, if a main video player playing a main video in a playing page is closed, a target split-screen video needs to be determined in the split-screen videos to be displayed as a new main video, and specifically, the method for determining the new main video to be displayed after the main video player is closed includes:
receiving a player closing instruction, and closing a target player according to the player closing instruction;
determining a new main video in the videos played by the unclosed players under the condition that the videos played by the target player are main videos;
and acquiring a new recommendation information set of the new main video, and displaying the new recommendation information set in the recommendation area.
The player closing instruction refers to an instruction for closing a target player, wherein the target player can be a main video player for playing a main video and can also be a split-screen player for playing a split-screen video; the new main video is the main video which is determined again after the main video player is closed; and after the new main video is determined, acquiring a new recommendation information set corresponding to the new main video, and displaying the determined new recommendation information set in a recommendation area. After the main video player is closed, the method for determining the new main video may be to use the video selected first from the remaining videos as the new main video according to the selection sequence of the videos, or may determine the new main video in other manners, where the specific determination manner is subject to the actual situation, and the present application is not particularly limited.
In a specific embodiment of the present application, for example, a main video player for playing movie videos is turned off, the main video played in a playing page is a movie video, and a split-screen video is an animation video and a comedy video; receiving a player closing instruction, determining that a target player is a main video player based on the player closing instruction, closing the main video player, and determining a new main video based on the sequence of selecting the split screen videos, namely, taking the first selected split screen video as the new main video; the animation video is selected as the split-screen video, so that the animation video can be determined as a new main video, and the animation video is displayed on a playing page as the main video; and acquiring an animation recommendation information set corresponding to the animation video, and displaying the animation recommendation information set in the playing page.
In practical application, the playing page can contain not only a recommendation area but also an interaction area; the interactive information related to the main video can be displayed in the interactive area; the method for displaying the interaction information in the interaction area specifically comprises the following steps:
acquiring second video interaction information of the current main video;
and replacing the first video interaction information determined based on the main video with the second video interaction information.
