Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more apparent, the present application is described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the present application and are not intended to limit the present application.
At present, when a server is tested by the conventional technology, a series of initialization operations need to be performed on the BMC, an account and a network address need to be set, and if hundreds of servers exist, manual setting brings many inconsistencies and low efficiency.
Based on the method, the invention provides a server baseboard management controller initialization method. Specifically, referring to an application environment diagram of the server baseboard management controller initialization method shown in fig. 1, the application environment includes a controller 110 and a plurality of servers 120 to be tested, and the controller 110 and the plurality of servers 120 to be tested are located in the same lan. First, the network address gateway and the mask of the control machine 110 are made to be consistent with the settings of all the servers BMC to be initialized. Since all the servers to be initialized have the same BMC network setting, only one server can normally acquire the network address at the moment. Then, the controller 110 accesses the server BMC that is online at this time, automatically sets network information and an account number of the server BMC, and stores the network information and the account number in the database. Finally, the network setting of the controller 110 is restarted, and the network information and the account number of the remaining server BMC are continuously set.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, there is provided a server baseboard management controller initialization method, including:
step 202, acquiring a server baseboard management controller initialization request;
step 204, accessing the control machine to a test network, and setting a network address gateway and a mask of the control machine to be consistent with the settings of all the servers BMC to be initialized;
step 206, all the servers BMC to be initialized are accessed to the test network, and only one server can normally acquire the network address at the moment because all the servers BMC to be initialized are consistent in network setting;
step 208, the controller accesses the online server BMC, automatically sets the network information and the account of the server BMC and stores the network information and the account into a database;
and step 210, restarting the network setting of the control machine, and continuously setting the network information and the account number of the rest server BMC.
In this embodiment, a method for initializing a server baseboard management controller is provided, where the method is specifically implemented as follows:
firstly, acquiring an initialization request of a server baseboard management controller, and accessing a control machine and a server BMC to be initialized to a test network according to the request. And setting a network address gateway and a mask of the control machine to be consistent with the settings of all the servers BMC to be initialized. Since all the servers to be initialized have the same BMC network setting, only one server can normally acquire the network address at the moment.
In one embodiment, the step of accessing the control machine to the test network and setting the network address gateway and the mask of the control machine to be consistent with the settings of all the servers BMCs to be initialized further includes: in the test network, all the default network settings of the servers to be initialized are consistent.
And then, the control machine accesses the online server BMC, automatically sets the network information and the account number of the server BMC and stores the network information and the account number into a database. Because all the servers to be initialized have consistent network settings, only one server can normally acquire the network address at the moment, and the current online server BMC is initialized.
In one embodiment, the step of automatically setting the network information and the account number of the server BMC and storing the network information and the account number into the database includes: the control machine accesses the current online server BMC through the SSH; and automatically setting the network information and the account number of the current online server BMC and storing the network information and the account number into a database.
Specifically, the controller can access the currently online server BMC through SSH; and automatically setting the network information and the account number of the current online server BMC and storing the network information and the account number into a database. SSH is an abbreviation for Secure Shell, made by the IETF Network Group (Network Working Group); SSH is a security protocol built on an application layer basis. SSH is a relatively reliable protocol that is dedicated to providing security for telnet sessions and other web services. The SSH protocol can effectively prevent the problem of information leakage in the remote management process.
And finally, restarting the network setting of the controller, and continuously setting the network information and the account number of the rest server BMC. Specifically, network setting of the controller is restarted, last network information is emptied, the network information and the account number of the server BMC are automatically set and stored in the database by repeatedly accessing the online server BMC at the moment, the rest of server BMCs are sequentially set until no default BMC address of the test network is online, and automatic setting is finished.
In the embodiment, the initialization request of the server baseboard management controller is obtained; the control machine is accessed to a test network, and a network address gateway and a mask code of the control machine are set to be consistent with the settings of all the servers BMC to be initialized; all the servers BMC to be initialized are accessed to the test network, and only one server can normally acquire a network address at the moment because all the servers BMC to be initialized are consistent in network setting; the controller accesses the online server BMC, automatically sets the network information and the account of the server BMC and stores the network information and the account into a database; and restarting the network setting of the control machine, and continuously setting the network information and the account number of the rest server BMC. The scheme realizes automatic initialization of batch server BMC in the local area network, effectively improves the initialization efficiency of the server BMC, and further improves the test efficiency of the server.
In an embodiment, as shown in fig. 3, an initialization method of a server baseboard management controller is provided, in which the step of restarting the network setting of the controller and continuing to set the network information and the account number of the remaining server BMC further includes:
step 302, restarting the network setting of the control machine;
and step 304, repeatedly executing the steps of accessing the online server BMC, automatically setting the network information and the account of the server BMC and storing the network information and the account into the database until no server BMC is online in the test network, and finishing initialization.
In this embodiment, a method for completely implementing server baseboard management controller initialization is provided, which can be applied to the application environment shown in fig. 1 and includes the following steps:
step 1, the control machine is accessed to a test network, a network address gateway and a mask code of the controller are set to be consistent with default settings of a server BMC, and settings of servers of the same type are consistent.
And 2, all the BMC ports of the server are accessed into the test network, and only one BMC can normally acquire the address online because all the BMC network addresses are the same.
And 3, accessing the online BMC through the SSH by using a control machine.
And 4, automatically setting network information, setting an account and storing the information into a database.
And 5, restarting the network setting of the controller and emptying the last network information.
And 6, repeating the step 3, and continuously setting the rest BMCs.
And 7, finishing automatic setting until the test network has no default BMC website online.
