The in-game information viewing method in one embodiment of the invention can be operated on a terminal device or a server. The terminal device may be a local terminal device. When the in-game information viewing method runs on the server, the in-game information viewing method can be implemented and executed based on a cloud interaction system, wherein the cloud interaction system comprises the server and the client device.
In an optional embodiment, various cloud applications may be run under the cloud interaction system, for example: and (5) cloud games. Taking a cloud game as an example, a cloud game refers to a game mode based on cloud computing. In the running mode of the cloud game, a running main body of a game program and a game picture presenting main body are separated, the storage and the running of an information viewing method in the game are finished on a cloud game server, and a client device is used for receiving and sending data and presenting a game picture, for example, the client device can be a display device which is close to a user side and has a data transmission function, such as a first terminal device, a television, a computer, a palm computer and the like; however, the terminal device for performing the information viewing method in the game is a cloud game server in the cloud. When a game is played, a player operates the client device to send an operation instruction to the cloud game server, the cloud game server runs the game according to the operation instruction, data such as game pictures and the like are encoded and compressed, the data are returned to the client device through a network, and finally the data are decoded through the client device and the game pictures are output.
In an alternative embodiment, the terminal device may be a local terminal device. Taking a game as an example, the local terminal device stores a game program and is used for presenting a game screen. The local terminal device is used for interacting with the player through a graphical user interface, namely, a game program is downloaded and installed and operated through an electronic device conventionally. The manner in which the local terminal device provides the graphical user interface to the player may include a variety of ways, for example, it may be rendered for display on a display screen of the terminal or provided to the player through holographic projection. For example, the local terminal device may include a display screen for presenting a graphical user interface including a game screen and a processor for running the game, generating the graphical user interface, and controlling display of the graphical user interface on the display screen.
Referring to fig. 1, which is a flowchart illustrating steps of a method for viewing information in a game according to an embodiment of the present invention, a graphical user interface is obtained through terminal device rendering, content displayed on the graphical user interface includes at least one virtual unit and an observation control, and the method may specifically include the following steps:
step 101, responding to a first selection instruction aiming at the observation control, determining a first virtual unit from the at least one virtual unit, and displaying state information corresponding to the first virtual unit;
in a specific implementation, the terminal device may be a portable mobile terminal, such as a smart phone, a wearable device, a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), a Point of Sales (POS), a vehicle-mounted computer, and the like, or may be an electronic device such as a notebook computer, a tablet computer, and an IPAD. The terminal device may be provided with a touch screen. For convenience in operation, a touch screen is used instead of a mouse or a keyboard. The touch screen is composed of a touch detection part and a touch screen controller, wherein the touch detection part is arranged in front of the display screen and used for detecting the touch position of a user and then transmitting related information to the touch screen controller. The touch screen controller is mainly used for receiving touch information from the touch point detection device, converting the touch information into touch point coordinates and transmitting the touch point coordinates to a Central Processing Unit (CPU); it can receive and execute the command from CPU. When a finger, stylus or other operating medium applies pressure (or force) to a touch screen mounted on the front end of the display, the touched position is detected by the touch screen controller and sent to the CPU through an interface (e.g., RS-232 serial port, USB, etc.).
In the embodiment of the present invention, a game application is run on a terminal device, and a graphical user interface is rendered on a touch screen of the terminal device, where content displayed on the graphical user interface includes a part or all of a game scene, and the specific form of the game scene may be a square, or may be another shape (e.g., a circle). Specifically, a game scene on the graphical user interface may include at least one virtual unit, where the virtual unit may be a game virtual character manipulated by a player through the terminal device, and may be presented through the graphical user interface, and the presented content may include all of the virtual unit or a part of the virtual unit. In addition, the game scene may further include one or more virtual objects, where the virtual object may be a Non-player Character (NPC) preset by a game developer in a specific game scene, and a player may interact with the virtual object.
The graphical user interface may also include an observation control for viewing the state of the virtual unit. When a player needs to view the state of a virtual unit on the graphical user interface, a first selection instruction may be initiated through the observation control, where the first selection instruction may be an instruction for selecting the virtual unit that needs to be viewed. In a specific implementation, the first selection instruction may be generated by pressing and holding the observation control, and dragging the observation control to at least one virtual unit on the graphical user interface. It should be noted that the first selection instruction may also be generated through other operations on the observation control, for example, through an operation of touching at least one virtual unit after the observation control is touched, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present invention.
After receiving a first selection instruction for the observation control, a first virtual unit can be determined from the at least one virtual unit in response to the first selection instruction, wherein the first virtual unit is a selected virtual unit requiring a viewing state. Specifically, the first selection instruction may include a plurality of continuous touch positions of the touch point, and the first virtual unit is determined from the at least one virtual unit according to the last touch position of the touch point. Further, state information corresponding to the first virtual unit is acquired, and the acquired state information is displayed on a graphical user interface.
As an example, as shown in fig. 2, 10 virtual units are included on the graphical user interface, and the observation control 10 and 10 virtual units 20 are included on the graphical user interface, and the player can view the state of the virtual unit by dragging the observation control 10 to the virtual unit to be viewed in the 10 virtual units 20. In addition, some other controls may be further included in the graphical user interface, as shown in fig. 3, the graphical user interface further includes controls such as a chat window, a run-away control, a call-back control, a protection control, a defense, an attack, a legal action, a prop, a call, an automatic battle, and the like, wherein the player may continue to communicate with other players through the chat window, the run-away control controls the virtual unit to run away, the protection control protects the virtual unit, the defense mechanisms such as a shield are added through the defense control, the attack on the enemy by the virtual unit is controlled through the attack control, the law control performs law enforcement attack, the prop in the backpack is checked through the prop control, the virtual unit is called through the call control, and the virtual unit is controlled through the automatic battle control to continue automatic fighting.
102, responding to a second selection instruction aiming at the observation control, and determining a second virtual unit from the at least one virtual unit;
after viewing the state of the first virtual unit, the player may further initiate a second selection instruction through the viewing control to continue viewing the states of other virtual units, where the second selection instruction may be an instruction for switching the virtual unit to be viewed.
In a specific implementation, the second selection instruction may be generated by an operation of dragging the observation control to a second virtual unit, where the second virtual unit is a switched virtual unit that needs to be viewed in a state, and the second virtual unit is different from the first virtual unit. Specifically, after dragging the observation control to the first virtual unit, the player may further drag the observation control to a second virtual unit on the graphical user interface, except for the first virtual unit, to switch from the first virtual unit to the second virtual unit for viewing. It should be noted that the second selection instruction may also be generated through other operations on the observation control, for example, when the first selection instruction is generated through an operation of touching at least one virtual unit after the observation control is touched, the second selection instruction may be generated through an operation of touching virtual units other than the first virtual unit in the at least one virtual unit, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present invention.
After receiving a second selection instruction for the observation control, a second virtual unit may be determined from the at least one virtual unit in response to the second selection instruction. Specifically, the second selection instruction may include a plurality of continuous touch positions of the touch point, and the second virtual unit is determined from the at least one virtual unit according to the latest position of the touch point.
As an example, as shown in fig. 4A-4B, a virtual unit a, a virtual unit B, a virtual unit C, a virtual unit D, and a virtual unit E are included in the graphical user interface, in fig. 4A, the observation control 10 is dragged onto the virtual unit E to view the state information of the virtual unit E, and in fig. 4B, the observation control 10 is further dragged from the virtual unit E onto the virtual unit a to switch to view the state information of the virtual unit a.
Step 103, canceling the display of the state information corresponding to the first virtual unit, and displaying the state information corresponding to the second virtual unit on the graphical user interface.
In the embodiment of the present invention, after the second virtual unit is determined, the state information corresponding to the first virtual unit displayed on the graphical user interface may be cancelled, and the state information corresponding to the second virtual unit may be displayed on the graphical user interface, so as to switch from the state information of the first virtual unit to the state information of the second virtual unit for viewing.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the step 101 may include the following sub-steps:
responding to a first selection instruction aiming at the observation control, and determining the last touch position of a touch point in the first selection instruction; and determining a first virtual unit from the at least one virtual unit according to the last touch position of the touch point in the first selection instruction.
Specifically, the first selection instruction may include a plurality of consecutive touch positions. For the operation of dragging the observation control, the touch position corresponding to the touch point is constantly changed and is also constantly changed, and in the embodiment of the present invention, the last touch position of the touch point in the first selection instruction may be determined for the first selection instruction of the observation control, and then the first virtual unit may be determined from the at least one virtual unit according to the last touch position of the touch point in the first selection instruction.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the displaying the status information corresponding to the first virtual unit includes:
and displaying state information corresponding to the first virtual unit on the graphical user interface according to a preset operation gesture and the position displayed by the first virtual unit so as to avoid the state information being blocked.
In the embodiment of the invention, the display position of the state information can be determined according to the preset operation gesture and the display position of the first virtual unit, and then the state information corresponding to the first virtual unit is displayed on the graphical user interface according to the determined display position so as to avoid the state information being blocked.
For example, in a general application situation, a player usually touches each control on the graphical user interface with a thumb, and in this case, the hand of the user may shield the content displayed on the lower half of the graphical user interface, so that, in order to avoid shielding the displayed state information, the player cannot view the state information, and the state information may be displayed in an area above the current touch position.
Further, in order to facilitate the player to recognize which virtual unit the currently displayed state information is, the display position of the state information may also be determined according to the position displayed by the first virtual unit, and for example, the state information may be displayed on the right or left side of the position displayed by the first virtual unit. As in fig. 4A, the state information is displayed on the right side of the first virtual unit.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the method further comprises:
when the first virtual unit moves on the graphical user interface, displaying state information corresponding to the first virtual unit on the graphical user interface according to the position of the first virtual unit after the first virtual unit moves.
The first virtual unit may also move while the player views the state of the first virtual unit. In the embodiment of the present invention, when the first virtual unit moves on the graphical user interface, the status information corresponding to the first virtual unit may be displayed on the graphical user interface according to the position of the first virtual unit after the movement, that is, when the status information corresponding to the first virtual unit is displayed, the display position of the status information may also be adjusted along with the adjustment of the position of the first virtual unit.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the step 103 may comprise the following sub-steps:
and displaying state information corresponding to the second virtual unit on the graphical user interface according to a preset operation gesture and the position displayed by the second virtual unit so as to avoid the state information being blocked.
In the embodiment of the invention, the display position of the state information can be determined according to the preset operation gesture and the display position of the second virtual unit, and then the state information corresponding to the second virtual unit is displayed on the graphical user interface according to the determined display position so as to avoid the state information being blocked.
Further, in order to facilitate the player to recognize which virtual unit the currently displayed state information is, the display position of the state information may also be determined according to the position displayed by the second virtual unit, and for example, the state information may be displayed on the right or left side of the position displayed by the second virtual unit. As in fig. 4B, the state information is displayed on the right side of the first virtual unit.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the method further comprises:
and when the second virtual unit moves on the graphical user interface, displaying the state information corresponding to the second virtual unit on the graphical user interface according to the position of the second virtual unit after the second virtual unit moves.
The second virtual unit may also move while the player views the state of the second virtual unit. In the embodiment of the present invention, when the second virtual unit moves on the graphical user interface, the status information corresponding to the second virtual unit may be displayed on the graphical user interface according to the position of the second virtual unit after the second virtual unit moves, that is, when the status information corresponding to the second virtual unit is displayed, the display position of the status information may also be adjusted along with the adjustment of the position of the second virtual unit.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the method further comprises:
and responding to a cancel instruction aiming at the observation control, and canceling the state message displayed on the graphical user interface.
Specifically, after viewing the state of the completed virtual unit, the player may initiate a cancel instruction with respect to the viewing control, where the cancel instruction is used to cancel the state message displayed on the graphical user interface. In a specific implementation, the cancel instruction may be generated by an operation of leaving the terminal device by an operation medium, where the operation medium is used to input the first selection instruction and the second selection instruction, for example, the operation medium is a medium such as a finger of a player, a stylus pen, and the like, and when the terminal device detects that the operation medium leaves a touch screen of the terminal device, the cancel instruction for the observation control is generated.
After receiving a cancel instruction for the observation control, the game application can respond to the cancel instruction to cancel the state information displayed on the graphical user interface, wherein if the state information corresponding to the first virtual unit is displayed on the graphical user interface, the state information corresponding to the first virtual unit is canceled from being displayed, and if the state information corresponding to the second virtual unit is displayed on the graphical user interface, the state information corresponding to the second virtual unit is canceled from being displayed.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the state information is an abbreviated name corresponding to a combat state, and the method further includes:
and responding to a trigger instruction aiming at the abbreviated name, and displaying detailed information corresponding to the fighting state.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the status information may be an abbreviated name corresponding to the fighting status, for example, in some games, since the virtual unit may have a plurality of fighting statuses, for the convenience of the player to view, the fighting status is abbreviated as one word, for example, the fighting status is abbreviated as: and when the state information of the virtual unit needs to be displayed, only the abbreviated name corresponding to the fighting state is displayed.
For some novice players or players who just return to the game, after seeing the corresponding abbreviated name of the battle state, the player may not know what gain effect exists in the battle state. In the embodiment of the invention, a trigger mode is added for the abbreviated name corresponding to the fighting state, and when a player needs to check the detailed information corresponding to a certain fighting state, the player can perform trigger operation for the abbreviated name corresponding to the fighting state so as to initiate a trigger instruction for the abbreviated name.
