Detailed Description
The following description of the embodiments of the present application will be made clearly and fully with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which it is evident that the embodiments described are only some, but not all, of the embodiments of the present application. All other embodiments, which can be made by one of ordinary skill in the art based on the embodiments herein without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the present application.
Virtual Reality technology (VR) is a computer simulation system that can create and experience a Virtual world by using a computer to create a simulated environment into which a user is immersed. The virtual reality technology is to use data in real life, combine electronic signals generated by computer technology with various output devices to convert the electronic signals into phenomena which can be perceived by people, wherein the phenomena can be real and cut objects in reality or substances which can not be seen by naked eyes, and the phenomena are shown by a three-dimensional model.
Augmented reality (AR, augmented Reality) is a technology that augments the perception of the real world by a user through information provided by a computer system, which superimposes computer-generated virtual objects, scenes, or content objects such as system cues into the real scene to augment or modify the perception of the real world environment or data representing the real world environment.
With the development of VR technology and AR technology, there are increasing numbers of head-mounted display devices (e.g., VR helmets, AR glasses, AR helmets, etc.). In order to achieve the lightness of the head-mounted display device, the head-mounted display device is gradually developed into an external device from an integrated device. The integrated head-mounted display device has stronger processing capacity, and can realize all processing in VR or AR display; the external head-mounted display device is connected with an external terminal, for example, a smart phone, a main processing function is placed on the connected terminal, and the terminal processes the data and then transmits the processed data to the head-mounted display device for output.
The inventor has found in research on the associated head-mounted display device that the images displayed by the associated head-mounted display device can only be viewed by the wearer.
Therefore, after the inventor finds the above problem in the study, the inventor proposes an image content sharing method and device and a head-mounted display device which can improve the above problem in the application. According to the image content sharing method, after a sharing request is sent in response to a sharing instruction, if the first head-mounted display device receives feedback information corresponding to the sharing request, a communication connection corresponding to a device (second head-mounted display device) sending the feedback information is triggered to be established, and then image content to be shared is sent to the second head-mounted display device through the communication connection.
Therefore, the first head-mounted display device can play the image content to be shared by itself, and can send the image content to be shared to the second head-mounted display device for playing after the second head-mounted display device agrees to the sharing request triggered by the first head-mounted display device, so that users outside the first head-mounted display device can also see the image content played by the first head-mounted display device. Embodiments of the present application will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The following describes a scenario related to an image content sharing method according to an embodiment of the present application through what is shown in fig. 1.
In the scenario shown in fig. 1, a first user wears the head mounted display device 100 and a second user wears the head mounted display device 200. Wherein communication interactions may be made between the head mounted display device 100 and the head mounted display device 200 such that the head mounted display device 100 may send information to the head mounted display device 200, e.g. may send a sharing request. The head-mounted display device 200 may also feed back information to the head-mounted display device 100, for example, send feedback information corresponding to the received sharing request. Further, in one manner, the head-mounted display device 100 may establish a communication connection with the head-mounted display device 200 after receiving the feedback information transmitted by the head-mounted display device 200, thereby transmitting image content to the head-mounted display device 200 through the communication connection. For example, the image content to be shared is transmitted.
Furthermore, in one mode, the image content played by the head-mounted display device 100 is the image content transmitted by the external device. For example, the host device 300 may be used as an image source of the head-mounted display device 100, so that the host device 300 may transmit image content to the head-mounted display device 100 in real time, and the head-mounted display device 100 may display the image content transmitted from the host device 300 in real time. Correspondingly, the head-mounted display device 200 may also correspond to its own host device (not shown).
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, the head-mounted display device 100 and the head-mounted display device 200 may send the sharing request based on various communication methods, or send feedback information corresponding to the sharing request. For example, as one way, the head-mounted display device 100 may send the sharing request by way of infrared communication. Correspondingly, the head-mounted display device 200 may also send feedback information corresponding to the sharing request in a corresponding manner through infrared communication. Still further, alternatively, the head mounted display device 100 may transmit the sharing request by means of bluetooth broadcasting. The head-mounted display device 200 may also send feedback information corresponding to the sharing request in a corresponding manner through bluetooth broadcasting.
Correspondingly, a communication connection for transmitting content may be established between the head mounted display device 100 and the head mounted display device 200 based on a plurality of communication methods. For example, the communication connection for transmitting the content may be established based on WiFi communication, or may be established based on bluetooth communication.
Wherein the first head-mounted display device in the subsequent embodiments may be the aforementioned head-mounted display device 100, and the second head-mounted display device may be the aforementioned head-mounted display device 200.
Referring to fig. 2, an image content sharing method provided in an embodiment of the present application is applied to a first head-mounted display device, and the method includes:
s110: and responding to the sharing instruction to send a sharing request.
In this embodiment of the present application, the sharing instruction is an instruction triggering the subsequent image content sharing. In addition, in the embodiments of the present application, there may be various ways to generate the sharing instruction.
As one approach, the first head mounted display device may generate the sharing instruction in response to a touch operation acting on a physical key. It should be noted that in this manner, optionally, a physical key for specifically triggering generation of the sharing instruction may be provided on the first head-mounted display device. Thus, when the first head-mounted display device detects a touch operation acting on the physical key specially triggering the generation of the sharing instruction, the sharing instruction is generated. In this way, the user can operate the first head-mounted display device to realize one-touch image content sharing. Furthermore, optionally, in the case that the first head-mounted display device is not provided with a physical key specifically triggering the generation of the sharing instruction, the generation of the sharing instruction may be triggered by functionally multiplexing other physical keys. For example, if there is a first physical key having a first function and a second physical key having a second function, the first head-mounted display device may be configured to determine to generate the sharing instruction when touch operations on the first physical key and the second physical key are detected at the same time.
Alternatively, the first head-mounted display device may generate the sharing instruction in response to a touch operation acting on the virtual key. In this manner, a display screen may be provided in the first head-mounted display device, in which virtual keys for generating sharing instructions may be displayed. Thus, when the first head-mounted display device detects the touch operation of the virtual key which is specially triggered to generate the sharing instruction, the sharing instruction is generated. In this way, the user can operate the first head-mounted display device to realize one-touch image content sharing. In this way, the display screen may be used to display different content in different scenes. Correspondingly, the virtual key for specifically triggering generation of the sharing instruction may be started to be displayed when the first head-mounted display device starts to display the image content. For example, if the first head mounted display device is AR glasses. Then the AR glasses may begin displaying the virtual key specifically triggering the generation of the sharing instruction in the display screen of the AR glasses (which is not used to display the AR virtual image) at the beginning of displaying the AR virtual image.
And after the first head-mounted display device detects that the sharing instruction is generated, the first head-mounted display device can send a sharing request. Optionally, in the embodiment of the present application, the first head-mounted display device may have multiple ways of sending the sharing request.
As one approach, the first head mounted display device may send the sharing request based on infrared communication. In this manner, the first head-mounted display device may characterize the sharing request by a particular ir code, such that the device receiving the particular ir code may determine that the sharing request was received by means of ir code identification.
Alternatively, the first head-mounted display device may send the sharing request based on bluetooth broadcast. In this manner, the first head-mounted display device may carry a specific identifier in the broadcast data to be transmitted, where the specific identifier is operative to enable the device receiving the broadcast data to identify that the received broadcast data is indicative of the sharing request transmitted by the transmitting device.
It should be noted that, different transmission characteristics may be different for different communication modes, and different transmission characteristics may have different adaptation scenarios. The first head-mounted display device may send the sharing request based on multiple communication modes at the same time in order to enable the sharing request sent by the first head-mounted display device to be responded to more quickly, or to enable the sent sharing request to be received successfully by other devices with a greater probability. For example, in the case where the first head-mounted display device supports both infrared communication and bluetooth communication, the first head-mounted display device may transmit the sharing request based on both the manner of infrared communication and the manner of bluetooth broadcasting.
S120: and if the first head-mounted display device receives the feedback information corresponding to the sharing request, triggering and establishing communication connection corresponding to a second head-mounted display device, wherein the second head-mounted display device is a device for sending the feedback information, and the communication connection is used for carrying out content transmission to the second head-mounted display device.
After the first head-mounted display device sends the sharing request, it may begin to detect whether feedback information corresponding to the sharing request is received. It should be noted that, the first head-mounted display device may detect whether feedback information corresponding to the sharing request is received according to a communication manner of sending the sharing request. If the first head-mounted display device is a sharing request sent by an infrared communication mode, the first head-mounted display device also determines whether feedback information corresponding to the sharing request is received by detecting a received signal sent by the first head-mounted display device based on the infrared communication mode. Correspondingly, if the first head-mounted display device is a sharing request sent by means of bluetooth communication, the first head-mounted display device also determines whether feedback information corresponding to the sharing request is received by detecting received broadcast data sent by means of bluetooth communication.
In this embodiment, the feedback information corresponding to the sharing request may be understood as information indicating that the second head-mounted display device that receives the sharing request agrees to perform content sharing. And after receiving the feedback information corresponding to the sharing request, the first head-mounted display device can trigger to establish communication connection corresponding to the second head-mounted display device so as to transmit the content to the second head-mounted display device through the communication connection later.
S130: and sending the image content to be shared to the second head-mounted display equipment through the communication connection.
In this embodiment of the present application, there may be multiple ways to determine the image content to be shared.
As one way, the image content historically played by the first head mounted display device may be taken as the image content to be shared. When the user of the first head-mounted display device wants to share the image content seen by the user to other users, the image content seen by the user before can be used as the image content which is played in a history. In the embodiment of the present application, there may be various ways to determine the image content that has been historically played.
As a way of determining the historically played image content, the first head-mounted display device may take, as the historically played image content, the image content played from the time when the image content starts to be played to the sharing instruction generation time. For example, if the first head-mounted display device starts playing the image content at the time t1 and the first head-mounted display device generates the sharing command at the time t2, the image content played between the time t1 and the time t2 is taken as the image content played historically.
As another way of determining the historically played image content, the first head-mounted display device may treat the image content played between the first marking time and the second marking time as the historically played image content. Wherein, the first marking time and the second marking time are the time before the current time. The time before the current time is understood to be earlier than the current time. As one way, in the case where the first head-mounted display device is provided with a key for triggering generation of the sharing instruction. If the touch operation on the key is detected, whether the first mark time is generated or not is detected, and if the first mark time is not generated, the time when the touch operation on the key is detected is taken as the first mark time. If the first mark time is generated, the time when the touch operation of the key is detected is taken as a second mark time, and a sharing instruction is generated at the same time, so that the image content played between the first mark time and the second mark time is taken as the image content which is historically played.
As another way, the image content to be displayed by the first head-mounted display device may be regarded as the image content to be shared. It should be noted that, when the first head-mounted display device detects that the sharing instruction is generated during the process of playing the image content, the image content to be played after the moment of generating the sharing instruction is taken as the image content to be displayed. For example, if the first head-mounted display device detects that the sharing instruction is generated at the time t3, the image content played after the time t3 is taken as the image content to be shared. In this way, the image content to be played by the first head-mounted display device can be synchronously transmitted to the second head-mounted display device for playing, and the second head-mounted display device can play the same image content as the first head-mounted display device in real time.
It should be noted that, in the case of multiple types of determination of the image content to be shared, in order to enable the first head-mounted display device to support multiple types of manners simultaneously, different touch operations may be configured to determine the image content to be shared in different manners.
As one way, taking as an example that the first head mounted display device is configured with a key dedicated to triggering generation of the sharing instruction. If the touch operation on the key is detected to be the first operation, starting to detect whether the first mark time is generated currently or not, and if the first mark time is not generated, taking the first operation time on the key as the first mark time. If the first mark time is generated, the time when the first operation acting on the key is detected is taken as a second mark time, the image content played between the first mark time and the second mark time is taken as the image content which is historically played, and the image content which is historically played is further taken as the image content to be shared to the second head-mounted display device.
And if the touch operation acting on the key is detected as a second operation, a sharing instruction is directly generated, and the image content to be played by the first head-mounted display device after the moment of detecting the second operation is taken as the image content to be shared.
The first operation may be a touch operation in which the pressing duration satisfies the duration threshold, or may be a touch operation in which the pressing area satisfies the area threshold. The second operation may be a click operation.
Therefore, by classifying the touch operation into the first operation and the second operation, the user can flexibly and conveniently select which image contents are shared under the condition that the user cannot see the touch position.
According to the image content sharing method provided by the embodiment, after a sharing request is sent in response to a sharing instruction, if the first head-mounted display device receives feedback information corresponding to the sharing request, a communication connection corresponding to a device (second head-mounted display device) sending the feedback information is triggered to be established, and then image content to be shared is sent to the second head-mounted display device through the communication connection.
Referring to fig. 3, an image content sharing method provided in an embodiment of the present application is applied to a first head-mounted display device, and the method includes:
s210: and responding to the sharing instruction to send a sharing request.
S220: and if the first head-mounted display device receives feedback information corresponding to the sharing request, triggering a first host device to establish communication connection with a second head-mounted display device, wherein the first host device is a device for providing an image source for the first head-mounted display device, the second head-mounted display device is a device for sending the feedback information, and the communication connection is used for carrying out content transmission to the second head-mounted display device.
In this embodiment, the image content played by the first head-mounted display device is the image content transmitted by the first host device. For example, the first host device may be a smart phone, and the first head-mounted display device may be AR glasses, and then after the smart phone establishes a communication connection with the AR glasses, the smart phone may transmit image content suitable for being played by the AR glasses to the AR glasses, so that the AR glasses play.
Correspondingly, in this embodiment, to facilitate the transmission of image content to the second head mounted display device, the first head mounted display device may trigger the first host device to establish a communication connection with the second head mounted display device.
The communication manner based on which the communication connection is established between the first host device and the second head-mounted display device may be different from the communication manner based on which the sharing request and the feedback information are transmitted. For example, the first head-mounted display device may send the sharing request based on infrared communication, and the second head-mounted display device may send the feedback information based on infrared communication. When the first head-mounted display device receives feedback information sent by the second head-mounted display device, the first head-mounted display device can trigger the first host device to establish communication connection for transmitting image content with the second head-mounted display device based on Bluetooth communication or WiFi communication.
Optionally, in the case where the second head-mounted display device supports establishment of the communication connection based on multiple modes, the second head-mounted display device may send the feedback information and simultaneously send the currently supported communication connection establishment mode. Therefore, the first head-mounted display device can flexibly trigger the first host device to establish communication connection with the second head-mounted display device according to the communication connection establishment mode supported by the second head-mounted display device.
The feedback information is sent and the currently supported communication connection establishment mode is sent to the first head-mounted display device together through one communication, so that the first head-mounted display device can acquire the feedback information and the communication connection establishment mode supported by the second head-mounted display device from received data (data sent by the second head-mounted display device) at the same time. For example, if the second head-mounted display device supports the communication connection established based on the bluetooth communication, the first host device establishes the communication connection with the second head-mounted display device based on the bluetooth communication. If the second head-mounted display device supports the communication connection establishment based on the WiFi communication mode, the first host device establishes the communication connection with the second head-mounted display device based on the WiFi communication mode.
S230: and triggering the first host equipment to send the image content to be shared to the second head-mounted display equipment through the communication connection.
In one manner, if the first head-mounted display device receives the feedback information corresponding to the sharing request, the triggering of the establishment of the communication connection corresponding to the second head-mounted display device further includes: the first head mounted display device disconnects communication with the first host device.
It should be noted that, in some cases, if the first host device is simultaneously in communication connection with both the first head-mounted display device and the second head-mounted display device, a large power consumption may be caused for the first host device, and the quality of the image content transmission from the first host device to the second head-mounted display device may also be affected. After the first host device and the second head-mounted display device are in communication connection, the first head-mounted display device is disconnected from the communication connection with the first host device, so that the cruising ability of the first host device is kept, and the first host device can stably transmit image content to the second head-mounted device.
Furthermore, the first host device may also determine whether to disconnect the communication with the first host device according to the current actual situation.
As one approach, it may be determined whether to disconnect the communication connection between the first host device and the first head mounted display device based on the current power of the first host device. Optionally, in the process of transmitting the image content to the first head-mounted display device, the first host device may periodically transmit its own power to the first head-mounted display device, so that after triggering the first host device to establish communication connection with the second head-mounted display device, the first head-mounted display device may acquire current latest power information of the first host device, and if it is determined that the current power of the first host device is equal to the power threshold, the first head-mounted display device determines to disconnect communication connection with the first host device.
As one approach, it may be determined whether to disconnect from the communication connection between the first host device and the first head mounted display device based on the image content currently transmitted by the first host device. It should be noted that, for some image content, it may be that the user of the first head-mounted display device also wants to view the image content synchronously through the first head-mounted display device while sharing the image content with the user of the second head-mounted display device. For some other image content, it may be that it may be viewable by the user of the second head mounted display device himself.
The first head-mounted display device can identify the category of the image content transmitted by the first host device after triggering the first host device to establish communication connection with the second head-mounted display device, and if the image content is of the first type, the first head-mounted display device is triggered to disconnect the communication connection with the first host device. If of the second type, the first head mounted display device maintains a communication connection with the first host device. Wherein the first type is a type characterizing that the image content is viewable by a user of the second head mounted display device themselves, and the second type is a type characterizing that the image content is viewable by both the user of the second head mounted display device and the user of the first head mounted display device.
As one approach, the first head mounted display device may trigger the first host device to establish a communication connection with the second head mounted display device by sending an instruction to the first host device. And, the instruction may further carry identification information, where the identification information is used to identify whether the first host device needs to disconnect the communication connection with the first head-mounted display device after establishing the communication connection with the second head-mounted display device. Such that upon receipt of the instruction, the first host device can determine via the identification whether it is necessary to disconnect the communication connection with the first head mounted display device after establishing the communication connection with the second head mounted display device.
