step 8: the set top box terminal acquires the packaged data, invokes a player program of the set top box terminal, and plays the data content.

The cross-terminal set top box APP operation method of claim 5, wherein the set top box terminal types in step 1 include an intelligent set top box and a broadcast and television legacy set top box; the operation instruction comprises a play instruction, a switching instruction and a closing instruction; the unified instruction in the step 2 is an instruction which can be identified by an APP instance in the virtual application platform, and the unified instruction corresponds to the operation instruction one by one; the unified command also comprises a play command, a switch command and a close command.

The cross-terminal set top box APP operation method according to claim 6, wherein the APP load operation module in step 4 performs corresponding operations according to contents of different unified instructions; if the switching instruction is the switching instruction, the cursor is switched according to the switching direction; if the playing instruction is a playing instruction, playing corresponding audio and video; if the instruction is a closing instruction, the APP instance is destroyed.
8. The method according to claim 5, wherein the audio/video data output by the APP load operation module in step 4 is real-time output, and the audio/video data includes audio/video data of an APP application interface and a movie work.
9. The method for running a cross-terminal set top box APP according to claim 5, wherein the processing of the audio and video stream data by the edge node service in step 7 includes parsing, processing and packaging operations; the encapsulated data is the data format which can be analyzed and played by the set top box terminal corresponding to the edge node service.
