Electronic device and information sending method
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an electronic device having a function of transmitting and receiving information such as a message, and more particularly to control of transmission of information when a chat or the like is performed in a vehicle.
Background
In recent years, Social Network Services (SNS) have become popular in which information is transmitted, shared, and spread among users of smart phones or personal computers via the internet. In the SNS, information transmitted by a certain user is transmitted to other users as a medium such as a message or an email, and the other users reply to the received message or the like or further disseminate the information to different users. Regarding transmission and reception of such information, for example, patent document 1 discloses an information distribution system that distributes character information and voice information thereof input from an information terminal to a distribution destination. In addition, the information processing apparatus of patent document 2 can distinguish 2 types of text data by adding recognition information indicating conversion from speech to text when wirelessly outputting data in which text data converted from input speech data and text data input from a keyboard are mixed.

Problems to be solved by the invention
As one of application programs that can be installed in smart phones, in-vehicle devices, and the like, there is WeChat. If Wechat is performed on a smart phone or the like, the user can chat using a voice message based on voice information or a character message based on character information. For example, the user terminal at the transmitting end transmits voice information or character information, and the user terminal at the receiving end performs voice playback on the received voice information/character information or displays the character information on a display. The user terminal is equipped with a conversion unit for converting speech information into character information or vice versa, and the user can select speech information or character information from a transmitted message or a received message.
As a polite of sending a voice message, if the content of the message is long, the time for listening to the message becomes long, which causes trouble to the counterpart. To avoid this, sometimes input voice information is converted into character information and a character message is transmitted. For example, in the chat example shown in fig. 1 a, it takes about 1 minute or so to play all received voice messages, but if the text messages are character messages obtained by converting the voice messages into character information (text data), the time required for the user to view all the messages is about 8 seconds, and the character messages can more immediately notify the content.
On the other hand, if the wechat is performed on the in-vehicle apparatus side, the user can chat with other users while traveling. When chatting with a car-mounted device, voice information is generally input and transmitted as a voice message, but may be converted into a character message and transmitted. However, in the case of transmitting a character message, the user has to issue a conversion command when converting the input voice information into character information, which is troublesome. In addition, since the conversion takes time, there is a bad case that the character message cannot be urgently transmitted to the other side. Further, when a chat is performed by the mobile terminal using a character message before the chat is started by the in-vehicle device and then the chat is performed by logging in the in-vehicle device, the output mode of the user terminal side on the receiving side is suddenly switched from the character message to the voice message, which may cause trouble to the other party or cause an distrust feeling in the chat.
The present invention has been made to solve the above conventional problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an electronic device and an information transmission method that can smoothly communicate with each other without causing trouble to the other party.

[ examples ]
Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the following description, an in-vehicle device 20C shown in fig. 2 will be described as an example of an electronic device having a function of transmitting and receiving a message. The in-vehicle device is equipped with an application program such as WeChat, for example, and transmits and receives messages between users by using the application program.
Fig. 3 is a block diagram showing an internal configuration of the in-vehicle device 100 according to the embodiment of the present invention. The in-vehicle device 100 includes an input unit 110, a position detection unit 120, a navigation unit 130, a communication unit 140, a noise sensor 150, a display unit 160, a voice output unit 170, a storage unit 180, and a control unit 190. However, the configuration shown here is an example, and the in-vehicle apparatus 100 may include other functions, for example, an audio/video function, a television/radio broadcast receiving function, and the like.
The input unit 110 includes an input key device, a microphone, a voice recognition module, a touch panel, a camera, and the like, receives an instruction from a user via these devices, and supplies the instruction to the control unit 190. As will be described later, the in-vehicle device 100 has a function of transmitting and receiving a message in a chat or the like, and the user inputs a voice through the input unit 110 (microphone) when creating a message. The input voice is converted into an electric signal, and the voice signal is supplied to the control section 190. The voice recognition module performs voice recognition based on the voice signal, and supplies the recognition result to the control unit 190. The control section 190 can convert the voice signal into text data based on the recognition result.
The position detection unit 120 detects the current position using a GPS signal and/or detects the current position using an orientation sensor such as a gyro sensor. The navigation unit 130 displays, for example, a road map around the current point of the vehicle detected by the position detection unit 120 on the display unit 160, or searches for a route from the current point to the destination, and displays the searched route on the road map to guide the vehicle to the destination. The navigation unit 130 displays a road map or searches for a route to a destination using the road map database held by the in-vehicle device 100. When the vehicle-mounted device 100 does not hold the road map database, as shown in fig. 2, the vehicle-mounted device accesses the road map server via the network 30 and acquires necessary information including road map data from the road map server.
As shown in fig. 2, the communication unit 140 can wirelessly communicate data with the server 40 or another electronic device. The communication unit 140 may be a communication module having a public wireless network such as 4G/5G, a GPS receiving function, a short-range communication function, and the like, and may be, for example, a TCU (remote control unit). The communication unit 140 may use a communication function built in the in-vehicle device 100, or may use a communication function of a smartphone connected to the in-vehicle device 100, for example.
In one embodiment, when the smartphone is connected to the in-vehicle device 100, the in-vehicle device 100 operates in a specific mode in cooperation with the smartphone. In a specific mode, the in-vehicle device 100 functions as an input/output device of a smartphone. For example, an icon associated with an application program loaded on the smartphone is displayed on the display unit 160 of the in-vehicle device 100, and the user can start the application program of the smartphone by touching the displayed icon. In addition, the video signal or the audio signal streamed by the smartphone is transferred to the in-vehicle device 100, and the video signal or the audio signal is output to the display unit 160 or the voice output unit 170. In this case, the smartphone transfers image data associated with the message function (for example, data including a message transmitted and received during a chat) to the in-vehicle device 100, and the image data is displayed on the display unit 160 of the in-vehicle device 100. The same image data may be displayed on both the display unit of the smartphone and the display unit 160 of the in-vehicle device 100.
Noise sensor 150 detects noise in the vehicle interior space, and provides the detection result to control unit 190. The noise includes, for example, road noise, or music when the music is being played in a vehicle.
The display unit 160 displays a road map or the like generated by the navigation unit 130, or displays an image associated with various applications installed in the in-vehicle device 100 when the applications are executed. For example, when the in-vehicle device performs a wechat operation, messages that are contents of a chat transmitted and received between users are displayed on the display unit 160 in time series.
The voice output unit 170 plays and outputs the audio signal generated by the navigation unit 130, or plays and outputs the received voice message when chatting on the in-vehicle device 100.
The storage unit 180 stores data (for example, a road map database) required by the in-vehicle device 100, and various application software and programs executable by the in-vehicle device 100. Further, a history of chatting performed in the in-vehicle device 100 is stored. The control unit 190 controls the operations of the respective units of the in-vehicle device 100. In one embodiment, the control unit 190 includes a microprocessor or microcontroller including a ROM/RAM, and the control unit 190 controls each unit by executing a program stored in the ROM/RAM.
In the present embodiment, the control unit 190 causes the in-vehicle device 100 to have a message function or a chat function by executing an SNS application such as WeChat. When transmitting and receiving messages by such an application, first, the user registers in the messaging system installed in the server 40. Thereafter, if the message application program operates in the user terminal, the server 40 receives a message transmitted from the user terminal and transmits the received message to the corresponding other user terminal.
Users specify addresses to send messages to particular parties or groups to distribute messages to users within a group and to share messages among users. The message can contain text data, image data, voice data.
Next, the message function of the present embodiment is explained. As described above, the in-vehicle device 100 has a message function by the control unit 190 executing a message application such as a WeChat application, and details of the function when sending a message in a chat will be described below.
Fig. 4 is a block diagram showing the configuration of the message transmission function of the present embodiment. The message transmission function 200 of the present embodiment includes a speech signal acquisition unit 210, a text conversion unit 220, a category information acquisition unit 230, an optimal format determination unit 240, and a transmission control unit 250.
The speech signal acquisition unit 210 includes: when a user performs chat, a voice input from the input unit 210 is converted into an electric signal, and the voice signal is acquired by the voice signal acquisition unit 210. The voice signal is recognized by the voice recognition module, and based on the recognition result, the text conversion unit 220 converts the voice signal into text data. The text conversion unit 220 may convert the speech signal into text data when the user inputs speech, or may convert the speech signal into text data when the optimal format determination unit 240, which will be described later, determines that the character information is optimal.
The category information acquisition unit 230 acquires category information of a user terminal that can transmit a message via the communication unit 140. The terminal type information is information for identifying, for example, a vehicle-mounted terminal, a mobile terminal such as a smart phone, or a personal computer terminal fixedly disposed at home or office. In one mode, if a user terminal starts an application such as a WeChat and logs in, the user terminal is in an online state in which it can transmit and receive messages, and category information (such as a vehicle-mounted terminal and a portable terminal) of the user terminal is transmitted to another user terminal. The other user terminal detects the transmitted category information, and the detected category information is displayed on the screen of the user terminal. In another aspect, the user terminal requests another user terminal to transmit the category information, and thereby can acquire the category information of the other user terminal. In still another mode, the user terminal may transmit the category information of the user terminal to another user terminal in response to the user terminal entering the online state.
Fig. 5 (a) and (B) show examples of a list of users who can send and receive messages online. Here, the photo or avatar of the user, the user name, and the category information of the user terminal are displayed, for example, the category information 300 of the user terminal of "vicky yan" indicates a personal computer terminal, the category information 310 of the unique user terminal indicates a terminal using WiFi, the category information 320 of the user terminal of "li" indicates a portable terminal, and the category information 330 of the user terminal of "sun and rain" indicates a 4G mobile terminal. The user terminals other than the above are vehicle-mounted terminals. The category information acquisition unit 230 acquires the category information 300, 310, 320, and 330 of the user terminal.
The optimal format determination unit 240 determines the optimal format of the user terminal acceptance message. Specifically, when the user terminal of the other party is other than the in-vehicle terminal, it is determined whether to transmit the voice message or the character message converted from the voice message.
The transmission control unit 250 transmits a voice message or a character message to the user terminal of the other party via the communication unit 140 based on the category information acquired by the category information acquisition unit 230 and the determination result of the optimal format determination unit 240.
Fig. 6 is a flow chart illustrating a message transmission operation according to the present embodiment. The messaging function 200 is initiated upon execution of an application program such as WeChat, as described above. When creating a message to be transmitted to a user in a group or an individual user, the user inputs a voice through the input unit 110 (S100). The input voice is converted into a voice signal by a microphone, and the voice signal is acquired by the voice signal acquisition unit 210. Alternatively, the voice recognition module may perform voice recognition of the voice signal, and the text conversion unit 220 may convert the voice signal into text data based on the voice recognition result.
As described with reference to fig. 5, the category information acquisition unit 230 acquires category information of another user terminal that is in an online state with the in-vehicle device 100 and is capable of transmitting and receiving messages. The timing of acquiring the category information is arbitrary, and the category information is acquired when the message transmission function 200 is started, when a new user terminal is on-line, or when a voice is input by the user to create a message, for example. If a message is simultaneously distributed to a plurality of user terminals in a group, category information of the plurality of user terminals in the group is acquired. On the other hand, when a message is transmitted to an individual user, category information of the individual user terminal is acquired (S110).
Next, the transmission control unit 250 determines whether or not the user terminal of the other party, that is, the user terminal of the transmission destination is the in-vehicle terminal, based on the acquired category information (S120). When it is determined that the user terminal of the other party is the in-vehicle terminal, the transmission control unit 250 transmits the input voice signal to the in-vehicle terminal of the other party as a voice message (S150). The vehicle-mounted terminal receiving the voice message plays the voice message in consideration of the driving safety.
On the other hand, when determining that the user terminal of the other party is not the in-vehicle terminal, the transmission control unit 250 causes the optimal format determination unit 240 to determine which of the transmission voice message and the transmission character message is appropriate. Details of this determination will be left to later. When the optimal format determination unit 240 determines that the voice message is appropriate, the transmission control unit 250 transmits the voice message even if the user terminal of the other party is other than the in-vehicle terminal (S150). When it is determined that the transmission of the character message is appropriate, the transmission control unit 250 transmits the text data converted by the text conversion unit 220 to the user terminal of the other party as the character message (S140).
In this way, when the user terminal of the other party is a vehicle-mounted terminal, the voice message is automatically transmitted, but when the user terminal of the other party is other than the vehicle-mounted terminal, it is determined which of the voice message and the character message is appropriate, and the voice message or the character message corresponding to the determination result is transmitted.
Next, the details of the optimum form determination unit 240 will be described. In example 1, the optimal format determination unit 240 determines the optimal message format based on the chat history in the latest fixed period. The chat history includes a pattern (character, voice, and image) of transmitted and received information, and the chat history for a predetermined period is stored in the storage unit 180. The stored chat history can be displayed on the display unit 160 or output by voice from the voice output unit 170.
The optimal format determination unit 240 identifies the pattern of information used in chat by referring to the chat history stored for a certain period, calculates the frequency of use of the pattern of information from the identification result, and determines whether it is appropriate to transmit a character message or a voice message based on the frequency of use. For example, when a character message is used in more than half of the recent chat history, it is determined that it is appropriate to transmit the character message. Alternatively, when the voice message is used in more than the most recent half, it is determined that it is appropriate to transmit the voice message.
Fig. 7 (a) and (B) show an example of the chat history, where fig. 7 (a) is a previous page screen and fig. 7 (B) is a current page screen. The following history is shown: the time t0 is a time when the in-vehicle device 100 logs in to the chat, and the user chats with a character message from the portable terminal at a time earlier than the time t 0. When the message function of the in-vehicle device 100 is activated at time t0, the best mode determination unit 240 recognizes that the chat history is a character message, and determines that the character message is appropriate for a certain period of time even when the in-vehicle device 100 logs in. Therefore, the transmission control unit 250 transmits a character message obtained by converting the input voice signal into text data to another user terminal. Fig. 7 (C) is an example of display of the display unit 160 when an input voice signal is converted into text data and a character message is transmitted to the other party. The road map around the vehicle position by the navigation unit 130 is displayed on the display unit 160, and the input voice S is converted into a character message and transmitted. When a request for transmission of a character message or a voice message is made from the user terminal of the other party, the transmission control unit 250 may transmit the character message or the voice message in accordance with the request.
In example 2, the optimal form determination unit 240 determines the optimal form based on the latest return time from the partner. The chat history includes not only the content of the message but also time information of transmission and reception of the message. The optimal format determination unit 240 determines that it is appropriate to transmit the character message because, for example, when the reply time from the partner is within a certain time (for example, 5 seconds) based on the time when the message is transmitted and received, the partner is considered to be viewing the character message (since the viewing time of the character is shorter than the time when the voice is heard, information from the partner can be quickly acquired). On the other hand, when the reply time from the partner exceeds a certain time, it is considered that the partner is listening to the voice message, and therefore it is determined that it is appropriate to transmit the voice message. This prevents the communication with the user of the other party from being suddenly switched to speech or characters.
Fig. 8 shows an example of a chat history based on a character message, and shows an example of a reply received from the other party within 5 seconds. For example, when the user logs in to the in-vehicle device 100 again and restarts the chat after the user has made the chat on the portable terminal, the voice signal input through the in-vehicle device 100 is converted into a character message and transmitted because the reply from the other party is within 5 seconds and the optimal format determination unit 240 determines that the transmission of the character message is appropriate.
In example 3, the optimum pattern determination unit 240 determines the optimum pattern based on the noise level detected by the noise sensor 150. Specifically, when the noise sensor 150 detects that the in-vehicle noise is at or above a certain level, the optimal format determination unit 240 determines that it is appropriate to transmit the character message, and the transmission control unit 250 transmits the character message obtained by converting the voice signal to the other party. If a voice message is transmitted when the noise in the vehicle is above a certain level, the noise in the vehicle is included in the voice signal, and therefore, it is difficult to hear the voice signal due to the noise or the like when the other party plays the voice signal, which causes trouble to the other party.
In example 4, the optimal form determination unit 240 determines the optimal form based on whether or not a specific mood is included in the input speech signal. In the 1-format, the optimal-format determining unit 240 identifies whether or not a specific term prepared in advance is included in the text data converted by the text converting unit 220. The specific term is, for example, an expression indicating an emotion or a feeling, and such a term is stored in the storage unit 180 in advance. The optimal format determination unit 240 determines that it is optimal to transmit the voice message when the converted text data includes a specific term, and in this case, the transmission control unit 250 transmits the voice message even when the user terminal of the other party is other than the in-vehicle terminal. This enables the communication of feelings that cannot be communicated by the character message to the other party.
In the above embodiment, an application program such as WeChat is exemplified, but the application program that transmits and receives messages is not limited to this, and other application programs may be used. Further, the transmission and reception of the message may be ordinary transmission and reception of an electronic mail.
While the specific embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to the specific embodiments, and various modifications and changes can be made within the scope of the invention described in the claims.
