The application provides a printing method and a printing device so as to fully utilize the advantages of various types of printing tasks.
The following specific embodiments are provided to describe the technical solutions of the present application in detail, and may be combined with each other, and may not be described in detail in some embodiments for the same or similar concepts or processes.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a first embodiment of a printing method provided in the present application. Referring to fig. 1, the method provided in this embodiment is applied to a print client, and the method may include:
s101, determining a first task type of a print task to be generated in response to a printing operation for a printing object, and generating the print task corresponding to the first task type.
Specifically, the user may initiate a print operation for a certain print object at the print client, and further, the print client generates a print job in response to the print operation for the print object.
It should be noted that, when generating a print job, the print client determines a first job type of the print job to be generated, and then generates a print job corresponding to the first job type. In specific implementation, determining a specific implementation procedure of a first task type of a print task to be generated may include:
(1) And judging whether the printing client and the printer are directly interconnected and intercommunicated.
In particular, the specific implementation principle and implementation method for determining whether two devices are directly interconnected may refer to descriptions in the related art, and are not repeated herein.
(2) If yes, determining that the first task type is a remote task.
(3) If not, when the specified condition is met, determining that the first task type is a near-field task, otherwise, determining that the first task type is a remote task.
Specifically, the specified conditions are set according to actual needs, and in this embodiment, specific contents of the specified conditions are not limited. For example, in one embodiment, the specified condition may be that the present device has the capability to process a specified type of print object. For another example, the specified condition is that the device has the capability of processing a specified type of print object, and the priority of the near field task is greater than the priority of the remote task.
Note that the specified type may be an office document type. Further, the remote job refers to a job that needs to be processed in cooperation with the server (the print client uploads a print object to the server, and the printer downloads the corresponding print object from the server when executing an execution job corresponding to the print job). Near field tasks refer to tasks in which a print object is directly transmitted to a printer via a local area network, and processed directly by the printer.
Further, the remote task and the near-field task have advantages, for example, for the remote task, the printer can receive multiple tasks at the same time, the user can leave after only uploading the print object to the server at the print client, and the user experience is high. For near field tasks, the transmission speed is fast, and correspondingly faster.
S102, sending a creation request for requesting to create an execution task corresponding to the print task in a print queue to a printer bound with the device, and receiving a creation result returned by the printer; the creation result carries a second task type of the created execution task.
After the print client creates the print job, the print client sends a creation request to the printer, requesting the printer to create an execution job corresponding to the print job in the print queue.
In particular implementations, the creation request may carry a task identification and a task type of the print job.
Further, when the printer receives the creation request, the execution task with the task type of the remote task can be created in the print queue corresponding to the print task when the task type of the print task is the remote task; when the task type of the print task is a near-field task, corresponding to the print task, if the device meets the near-field task creation condition, creating an execution task with the task type being a near-field task in the print queue, and if the device does not meet the near-field task creation condition, creating an execution task with the task type being a remote task in the print queue.
It should be noted that the near-field task creation condition includes that there is no unexecuted execution task in the print queue, or that there is no unexecuted execution task in the print queue, and the state of the present apparatus satisfies the specified condition.
It should be noted that, the state of the device satisfying the specified condition may be that the device has no error, sufficient memory of the device, and the like.
S103, sending the printing object corresponding to the printing task by adopting a sending mode matched with the second task type.
When the second task type is a near-field task, the printing object is directly sent to the printer, when the second task type is a remote task, the printing object is uploaded to the server, and the information such as the address of the printing object on the server is informed to the printer, so that the printer actively downloads the relevant printing object from the server when executing the execution task.
According to the method provided by the embodiment, a first task type of a print task to be generated is determined in response to a print operation aiming at a print object, the print task corresponding to the first task type is generated, a creation request for requesting to create an execution task corresponding to the print task in a print queue is further sent to a printer bound with the device, and a creation result returned by the printer is received, wherein the creation result carries a second task type of the created execution task, and therefore the print object corresponding to the print task is sent in a sending mode matched with the second task type. When the printer creates an execution task, when the task type of the print task is a remote task, the printer corresponds to the print task, creates an execution task with the task type being the remote task in the print queue, when the task type of the print task is a near-field task, corresponds to the print task, creates an execution task with the task type being the near-field task in the print queue when the device meets the near-field task creation condition, and otherwise creates an execution task with the task type being the remote task in the print queue. Therefore, the advantages of various types of printing tasks can be fully utilized, and the user experience is improved.

S203, when the task type of the print task is a near-field task, corresponding to the print task, if the device meets the near-field task creation condition, creating an execution task with the task type being a near-field task in the print queue, otherwise, creating an execution task with the task type being a remote task in the print queue.
When the task type of the execution task is a remote task, the print client uploads the print object to the server and informs the printer of address information of the print object, etc., and accordingly, the printer obtains the print object based on the address information informed by the print client when executing the task, and then executes the execution task based on the obtained print object.
In addition, when the task type of one execution task is a near-field task, the print client directly sends the print object to the printer, and the printer can directly execute the execution task based on the received print object when executing the execution task.
When the printer receives the creation request, when the task type of the print task is a near-field task, the printer judges whether the device is enough to accept the near-field task (namely, judges whether the device meets the near-field task creation condition) at present, further when the device meets the near-field task creation condition, creates an execution task with the task type being the near-field task in a print queue, and otherwise, creates an execution task with the task type being a remote task in the print queue.
Specifically, in an embodiment, the near-field task creation condition includes that no unexecuted execution task exists in the print queue; in another embodiment, the near-field task creation condition includes that no unexecuted execution task exists in the print queue and the state of the device satisfies a specified condition.
It should be noted that, the state of the device meeting the specified condition may include that the device has no error, that the memory of the device is sufficient, and the like.
S204, returning the creation result to the printing client; the creation result carries the created task type of the execution task.
Specifically, the creation result may carry a task identifier and a task type.
According to the method provided by the embodiment, when receiving the creation request for requesting to create the execution task corresponding to the currently generated print task, the printer creates the execution task with the remote task type in the print queue when the print task is the remote task, and creates the execution task with the near-field task type in the print queue when the print task is the near-field task, if the device meets the near-field task creation condition, the printer creates the execution task with the near-field task type in the print queue, otherwise, creates the execution task with the remote task type in the print queue. And then returning the creation result to the printing client; the creation result carries the created task type of the execution task, so that the print client can process the print object corresponding to the print task based on the task type of the execution task. Thus, the advantages of various printing tasks can be fully utilized.
