Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and effects of the present invention clearer and clearer, the present invention is further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention.
The inventor researches and discovers that the conventional method for switching the voice mode to the transparent transmission mode under the modem is that after the tone of the modem is detected by the signaling gateway, the signaling gateway reports the detection event to the media server, and then the media server controls the media channel to carry out switching operation through the signaling gateway. Therefore, in the method for implementing the media channel switching working mode provided by the invention, once the signaling gateway detects the tone of the modem, the media channel is directly controlled to carry out switching operation without a media server, thereby reducing the operation and saving the time.
For further understanding of the technical solution of the present invention, the following description is made with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 illustrates a topology diagram of a method for implementing a media channel switching operation mode according to the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, during a voice call, a voice connection is established through an IP network, after the connection is successful, a calling party (also called a sending terminal) sends a media signal and a voice packet to a called party (also called a receiving terminal) through a sending gateway, and the receiving gateway of the called party determines a transmission mode of a media channel according to the media signal, processes the voice packet in the determined transmission mode, and sends the processed voice packet to the receiving terminal.
In specific implementation, please refer to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart of a method for implementing a media channel switching operation mode according to the present invention, and it should be noted that the method for implementing a media channel switching operation mode according to the present invention is not limited to the steps and the sequence in the flowchart shown in fig. 2, and the steps in the flowchart may be added, removed, or changed according to different requirements.
As shown in fig. 2, the method for implementing the media channel switching operation mode provided by the present invention includes the following steps:
and S10, the gateway detects the media signal sent by the terminal.
In the embodiment of the invention, the gateway comprises a sending gateway and a receiving gateway. And the receiving gateway is used for processing the media stream fed back by the receiving sending side. The media stream mainly includes a language stream, a data stream, a video stream, and the like. The data stream mainly refers to a signal, namely a media signal, sent by data equipment such as a modem, an access server, a common fax machine, a high-speed fax machine and the like in an interaction process. The media signal includes an ANS signal (ansr), an/ANS signal (ansr with amplitude modulation), an/ANSam signal (ansr with phase inversion and amplitude modulation), and the like.
Of course, the sending gateway has the same principle as the receiving gateway. The working modes of transmitting data streams through the gateway mainly include a transparent transmission mode and a T.38 mode. The embodiment is directed to the transparent mode application.
The transparent transmission mode is that the data stream is used as the common voice stream to carry out lossless coding and decoding processing through an ITU-T G.711 coding and decoding mode, and the mode has the advantages of simple realization and no need of relating the meaning of a specific data signal, and only needs to be processed as voice.
The mode switching of the media channel is switching between voice stream and data stream transmission in the media channel according to the requirement, and the condition for triggering the media channel switching is that the gateway detects various specific media signals sent by the terminal on the media channel. Thus, the gateway distinguishes between the facsimile device and the modem device by the unique media signals transmitted from the various terminals, thereby switching to different transmission modes.
The gateway has detection energy of data signal equipment, ANS signals,/ANSam signals sent by the modem in the media signals, and the transmission mode of a media channel corresponding to the modem is a transparent transmission mode.
And S20, when the media signal detected by the gateway is an ANS signal, the gateway controls the media channel to be switched from a voice mode to a transparent transmission mode.
In the embodiment of the invention, a preset coding and decoding type for self-switching to a transparent transmission mode is preset in the receiving gateway and the sending gateway, and the preset coding and decoding type is used for indicating the receiving gateway or the sending gateway to control a media channel to transmit the modem signals by using the preset coding and decoding type. The preset editing code type comprises G.711A used for indicating a pass-through mode or G.711U used for indicating a pass-through mode.
It should be noted that the voice packet for indicating transmission by the codec can be successfully transmitted in the media channel only by carrying the type of the edit code configured by the receiving gateway or the sending gateway, so as to be received by the receiving terminal or the sending terminal.
Specifically, when the media signal detected by the gateway is an ANS signal, the controlling, by the gateway, the media channel to switch from the voice mode to the transparent transmission mode specifically includes:
and S21, when the media signal detected by the gateway is an ANS signal, the gateway controls the media channel to switch the voice mode to the transparent transmission mode by performing operations of closing voice activity detection, disabling the DC-removing filter, setting a data packet jitter buffer and closing the non-linear echo canceller within a preset switching time.
During a voice call, whether the receiving gateway or the sending gateway, once the detected media signal is an ANS signal, the receiving gateway or the sending gateway controls the media channel to switch from the voice mode to the transparent transmission mode.
In order to ensure the speed of transparent transmission mode switching, eliminate interference effects such as noise and echo, and simultaneously, determine the success rate of modulation/demodulation transmission by the combination of processing operations on signals after identification, whether the receiving gateway controls the media channel to be switched to the transparent transmission mode or the sending gateway controls the media channel to be switched to the transparent transmission mode, relevant operations need to be performed on a plurality of functional components in the media channel, and the operations include closing voice activity detection, disabling a dc-removing filter, setting a data packet jitter buffer, closing a nonlinear echo canceller, and the like, which is specifically as follows:
1. set the packet jitter buffer to a fixed value:
because the gateway is easily affected by IP network fluctuation when adopting the transparent transmission mode to transmit data stream, and the quality can not be ensured when more packet loss and larger time delay change occur on the IP network, the invention respectively arranges data packet jitter buffer zones with certain threshold values at the two ends of the transmitted data stream, namely the receiving terminal and the sending terminal, and the data packet jitter buffer zones are used for adding enough delay to compensate jitter, thereby delaying to reach the voice packet with relatively earlier time, so as to ensure that the voice packet is completely received to the maximum extent, thereby eliminating the problems of larger voice packet jitter and reducing the voice packet loss probability.
In the transparent mode of the modem, the delay has no obvious influence on the connection quality, therefore, the modem is designed to be used for the application with constant end-to-end delay, and based on the characteristic, the data packet jitter buffer does not need to be adjusted at any moment in the transparent mode, therefore, the data packet jitter buffer is set to a fixed value through the v90 modem as the optimal jitter buffer of the modem. Empirically, the range of the packet jitter buffer is set to be 50-100 milliseconds. The packet jitter buffer is set to 60 ms for optimization in the present invention.
2. Turning off voice activity detection
When the voice activity detection is started, when the signal energy is lower than a given threshold, the voice DSP stops sending data packets, and the receiving end generates comfortable noise. Therefore, when using modem pass-through, the voice DSP must be as transparent as possible, requiring voice activity detection to be disabled.
3. Forbidden DC filter
In speech mode, dc removal of the speech signal, i.e. with the operation of disabling the dc-removing filter, is required in order to maximize the dynamic range of the encoder, which may cause problems when using modem pass-through, especially for v.90 connections, and therefore the filter must be disabled during the modem pass-through connection.
Further, since the high-speed fax machine can send out/ANS signals and/ANsam signals as the modem does, the gateway controls the media channel to perform the operation of disabling the linear echo canceller if the media signal detected by the receiving gateway or the transmitting gateway is/ANS signal or/ANSam signal during the process of switching the transparent transmission mode.
It should be noted that the low speed fax machine is not capable of issuing/ANS signals and/ANsam signals.
In order to ensure the switching speed and the transmission success rate, the gateway must ensure that the switching time is within the preset switching time when performing the above related operations. The preset switching time is 0-0.1 second.
Of course, if the media signal detected by the gateway is not an ANS signal, the gateway controls the media channel to keep the voice mode unchanged, and does not perform the switching operation.
Further, after the transparent transmission mode is switched to, the condition that the voice packet is successfully transmitted in the transparent transmission mode of the media channel is that the encoding type carried by the voice packet is the same as the preset encoding and decoding type configured by the gateway and used for the transparent transmission mode, and then the voice packet can be transmitted.
Therefore, when the media signal detected by the gateway is an ANS signal, the controlling, by the gateway, the media channel to switch from the voice mode to the transparent transmission mode includes:
after switching to the transparent transmission mode, the gateway determines the coding type carried by the received voice packet;
and when the coding type carried by the voice packet is different from the preset coding and decoding type, the gateway automatically switches the coding type carried by the voice packet into the preset coding and decoding type and sends the switched voice packet to the terminal.
That is, the voice packets in the media channel are losslessly encoded and losslessly decoded according to the encoding type corresponding to the media channel.
Of course, if the coding type carried by the voice packet is the same as the preset coding and decoding type, the gateway keeps the coding type carried by the voice packet unchanged, and sends the voice packet to the terminal.
Thus, based on steps S10 and S20, switching from voice connection to modem connection is accurately and quickly achieved through identification of tones of the modem corresponding to the ANS signal or/and ANsam signal or interactive gateway configuration matching, the transmission application range is expanded, the success rate of modem transmission is achieved through combination of processing operations on the signals after identification is determined, and the complexity of equipment maintenance is reduced.
Based on the above implementation method for switching the operating mode of the media channel, the present invention also provides a system, as shown in fig. 3, where the system 100 includes a processor 11 and a memory 22 connected to the processor 11, and fig. 3 only shows some components of the system 100, but it should be understood that not all of the shown components are required to be implemented, and more or less components may be implemented instead.
