Detailed Description
Embodiments disclosed in the present specification are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As mentioned above, the instant messaging service currently presents chat messages (hereinafter referred to as messages) to users in a single way. Generally, for a certain contact or a contact group, a plurality of messages are sequentially presented in a corresponding chat window according to the sending time of the message, wherein each message comprises the information (such as an avatar or a nickname) of the sender of the message, the sending time and the message content. In some scenarios, especially when the number of messages is large (e.g., tens or even hundreds), the chat messages are displayed based on this manner, so that the information points in the chat messages are too scattered, and the user experiences are poor due to the fact that the user spends more time and energy in browsing the messages.
Based on this, the embodiment of the present specification discloses a method for displaying a message, which can save time and energy consumed by a user for browsing the message by integrally displaying a plurality of messages, thereby improving user experience. The method can be applied to various scenes, such as a scene of forwarding a plurality of messages, or a scene of browsing a plurality of unread messages, or a scene of browsing a plurality of historical messages.
In particular, fig. 1 illustrates a forwarding system architecture diagram for chat messages, according to one embodiment. As shown in fig. 1, a user may select multiple messages in a chat window at a time through a first client to forward, and a recipient of a forwarded message may view a message obtained by integrating multiple messages in the chat window through a second client. It should be noted that, the chat interface diagrams in the first client and the second client are shown as partial screenshots. In addition, it can be understood that the chat window corresponding to the receiving party in the first client also displays a message obtained by integrating a plurality of messages.
The following describes a message display method provided in the embodiments of the present specification in detail with reference to the embodiments.
Fig. 2 shows a flowchart of a method for presenting a message according to an embodiment, where an execution subject of the method may be an instant messaging client, for example, the first client shown in fig. 1. The method comprises the following steps: step S210, receiving a forwarding instruction for forwarding a plurality of original messages in the current chat to a target chat; step S220, merging and displaying the plurality of original messages as at least one processed message in a target chat window corresponding to the target chat. The steps are as follows:
first, in step S210, a forwarding instruction for forwarding a plurality of original messages in a current chat to a target chat is received.
It should be understood that the chats mentioned in the current chat and the target chat have a one-to-one correspondence relationship with contact objects, wherein the chat objects include contacts or contact groups. In addition, chat can be replaced by conversation, and words in different instant messaging software can be different, but the words are expressed in the same meaning.
In an embodiment, the user operation corresponding to the forwarding instruction may include: and selecting the plurality of original messages in a current chat window corresponding to the current chat, and then initiating forwarding aiming at the selected plurality of original messages. In one embodiment, the forwarding command may be a click command or a voice control command, etc. In a particular embodiment, the forwarding instruction may be a click instruction on the forwarding icon 310 shown in FIG. 3.
In response to the forwarding instruction received in step S210, in step S220, the multiple original messages are merged and displayed as at least one processed message in a target chat window corresponding to the target chat.
In one aspect, in one embodiment, successive original messages having the same sender may be merged. It should be understood that "consecutive" here means that the messages are not separated by intervals corresponding to messages of other senders, based on the sending time sequence. For example, 6 messages received in sequence are respectively from a sender: A. b, A, A, A, C are provided. Then, the 3 rd to 5 th items thereof successively correspond to the same sender. Whereas items 1 to 3 are discontinuous because of the intervening interval to send person B.
Specifically, each original message usually includes sender information (such as an avatar and a nickname), a sending time and message content, and in this step, a plurality of consecutive messages corresponding to the same sender may be combined into one processed message. The processed message comprises the sender information, the display of the sender information is simplified compared with the situation that the sender information appears in a plurality of continuous messages for a plurality of times, and in addition, the message content in the processed message is the message content of each message in the plurality of continuous messages, so that the message content can be displayed in a centralized mode, and the browsing of a user is facilitated.
In a specific embodiment, the plurality of original messages includes a first number of original messages that are consecutive and correspond to the same sender, and the at least one processed message includes a first processed message. Accordingly, step S220 may include: and merging and displaying the first quantity of original messages into a first processed message, wherein the first processed message comprises the same sender and message contents corresponding to all the original messages in the first quantity of original messages.
Further, the first processed message further includes a first sending time. In a more specific embodiment, the first sending time is a time, and may specifically be a time farthest from the current time in the sending times corresponding to the original messages. In another more specific embodiment, the first sending time may be multiple times, and specifically may be a sending time corresponding to each original message. In one example, the sending time and the sending content in one message are usually arranged up and down, where, to send the content collectively, in the first processed message, the sending time corresponding to each original message may be arranged after the corresponding message content, which is equivalent to a left-right arrangement.
In a specific example, as shown in fig. 4, in response to a click command on a forward icon 410, 3 consecutive original messages corresponding to sender a in 6 original messages are merged and displayed as a processed message in a target chat window, wherein the sender a is included, the message content includes the message content of each original message in the 3 original messages, and the sending time is the sending time of the 1 st original message in the 3 original messages.
In the above, merging of consecutive original messages with the same sender can be achieved.
On the other hand, in one embodiment, successive original messages having the same content may be merged. It should be understood that "continuous" herein refers to messages that contain no other content in the interval between the messages based on the sending time sequence.
In a specific embodiment, the plurality of original messages includes a second number of original messages corresponding to the same message content, and the at least one processed message includes a second processed message. Accordingly, step S220 may include: and merging and displaying a second quantity of original messages into a second processed message, wherein the second processed message comprises the same message content and senders corresponding to the original messages in the second quantity of original messages.
It should be noted that, for the same message content, in an embodiment, the same content may be identical, and the constituent elements including the text, the character, the emoticon, and the like are identical. In another embodiment, the content may be similar content, for example, the message content of any two messages is subjected to similarity calculation, and if the obtained similarity is greater than a predetermined threshold (e.g. 0.9), the two messages are considered to be similar, and the same message content is determined.
Further, the first processed message further includes a second sending time. It should be noted that, for the description of the second sending time, reference may be made to the description of the first sending time, and details are not described herein.
In a specific example, as shown in FIG. 5, in response to the click command on the forward icon 510, the 6 original messages are consecutively sent to the same sending content "Baby Happy birthday! "5 original messages are merged and displayed as a processed message, wherein the sender included in the processed message is the sender corresponding to each original message in the 5 original messages, and the message content is" Baby happy birthday |)! ", the transmission time is the transmission time of the 1 st original message in the 5 original messages.
In the above, merging of consecutive original messages having the same transmission content can be realized.
In summary, the multiple original messages forwarded can be merged and displayed in the message forwarding scene. It should be noted that, in step S220, the plurality of original messages are merged and displayed as at least one processed message. Wherein, at least one processed message may include processed messages corresponding to more than two original messages, and may also include processed messages corresponding to one original message. That is, the merged display is performed for the part of the original messages in which the merging rule is satisfied, while the form of the separate display is maintained for the original messages which are not in conformity with the merging rule.
In addition, in order to make the merged message displayed more intuitively, the merged message can be further optimized and displayed in terms of display position, message style (such as color and font), and the like. Specifically, for the at least one processed message, in one embodiment, compared to a processed message corresponding to one original message, the processed message obtained by merging two or more original messages may be displayed in a highlighted manner, so that the user can obtain a more intuitive visual experience. In a particular embodiment, the entire content of the processed message may be highlighted. In another particular embodiment, only the merged contact name or the merged message content may be highlighted. In a specific embodiment, the highlighting may be achieved by various means such as bolding, highlighting, underlining, changing color, and the like. In one example, as shown in FIG. 5, a processed message 520 resulting from the merging of 5 original messages may be displayed bolded.
In another embodiment, the messages belonging to different senders in the at least one processed message can be displayed in a position or a style (such as color, font and the like) in a distinguishing way. In a specific embodiment, the differential display may be performed in the left and right opposing directions. In one example, as shown in FIG. 4, where sender A's corresponding processed message is displayed to the left of the interface and sender B's corresponding processed message is displayed to the right of the interface. Therefore, at least one processed message can be further optimized and displayed, a user can quickly locate required information, and visual experience is more intuitive.
In the method for displaying the messages disclosed in the embodiments of the present specification, in a scenario where multiple original messages are forwarded, the multiple original messages are combined and displayed, so that time and energy consumed by a user for browsing the messages can be saved, and user experience is further improved.
Next, a message display method in a scenario of browsing unread messages is described. Fig. 6 shows a flowchart of a method for presenting a message according to another embodiment, and an execution subject of the method may be an instant messaging client, for example, the first client shown in fig. 1. The method comprises the following steps: step S610, receiving an optimized display instruction of a plurality of unread messages in a current chat window; step S620, merging and displaying the plurality of unread messages into at least one processed message. The steps are as follows:
first, in step S610, a viewing instruction for a plurality of unread messages in a current chat window is received.
In one embodiment, functionality to view the original message directly and functionality to view the integrated message may be provided for multiple unread messages. Accordingly, the optimized display instruction corresponds to the latter function. In one embodiment, the optimized display command may be a click command or a voice control command.
In a particular embodiment, a direct display icon and an optimized display icon for a plurality of unread messages can be displayed in the current chat window. In one example, both the direct display icon and the optimized display icon have a jump function, i.e., jump to a position corresponding to the first unread message, so that the user can browse from the beginning. Accordingly, the view instruction may be a click instruction on the optimally displayed icon. In one example, a click command may be received for the optimized display icon 710 shown in FIG. 7.
In response to the optimized display instruction received in step S610, in step S620, the plurality of unread messages are merged and displayed as at least one processed message.
In one aspect, in one embodiment, successive unread messages having the same sender may be merged. Specifically, in this step, a plurality of consecutive messages corresponding to the same sender may be combined into one processed message.
In a specific embodiment, the plurality of unread messages includes a first number of unread messages that are consecutive and correspond to the same sender, and the at least one processed message includes a first processed message. Accordingly, step S620 may include: and merging and displaying the unread messages of the first quantity as first processed messages, wherein the first processed messages comprise the same sender and message contents corresponding to the unread messages in the unread messages of the first quantity. In this way, merging of consecutive unread messages having the same sender can be achieved.
On the other hand, in one embodiment, successive unread messages having the same content may be merged.
In a specific embodiment, the plurality of unread messages includes a second number of unread messages that are consecutive and correspond to the same message content, and the at least one processed message includes a second processed message. Accordingly, step S620 may include: and merging and displaying a second number of unread messages as a second processed message, wherein the second processed message comprises the same message content and a sender corresponding to each unread message in the second number of unread messages. In this way, merging of consecutive unread messages having the same transmission content can be achieved.
According to one example, as shown in FIG. 8, in response to a click command on the optimized display icon 810, in the target chat window, for 12 unread messages, the same sending content "Baby Happy birthday! "5 unread messages are collectively displayed as one processed message 820, and 3 unread messages corresponding to sender a consecutive thereto are collectively displayed as one processed message 830.
In summary, under the scene of browsing a plurality of unread messages, the plurality of unread messages can be merged and displayed. It should be noted that, for the description of step S620, reference may also be made to the description of step S220.
In the method for displaying the messages disclosed in the embodiments of the present specification, in a scenario where multiple unread messages are browsed, the multiple unread messages are displayed in a merged manner, so that time and energy consumed by a user for browsing the messages can be saved, and user experience can be improved.
In addition, the embodiment of the specification further discloses a message display method, which can optimize the user experience when the user views a large number of historical chat messages by himself. In particular, fig. 9 shows a flowchart of a method for presenting a message according to yet another embodiment, the execution subject of which may be an instant messaging client, e.g. the first client shown in fig. 1. The method comprises the following steps: step S910, receiving an optimized display instruction of a plurality of original messages in the current chat window; step S920, merging and displaying the plurality of original messages into at least one processed message. The steps are as follows:
for step S910, in one embodiment, it may include: receiving a selection instruction of a user for a plurality of original messages in a current chat window, and then receiving an optimized display instruction sent aiming at the selected plurality of original messages. Next, in response to the optimized display instruction, in step S920, a plurality of original messages may be merged and displayed as at least one processed message. In one embodiment, at least one of the processed messages may be displayed in a pop-up window. In another embodiment, a plurality of original messages may instead be displayed as at least one processed message in the current chat window.
It should be noted that, for the description of step S910, reference may also be made to the foregoing description of step S210 and step S610, and for the description of step S920, reference may also be made to the foregoing description of step S220 and step S620.
In the message display method disclosed in the embodiment of the present specification, in a scenario where a user browses history chat messages in batch, multiple original messages are combined and displayed, so that time and energy consumed by the user for browsing messages can be saved, and user experience can be further improved.
In the above message display method, the merged display of messages is mainly described. In the message presentation method described next, the packet presentation of messages is mainly explained. It should be understood that when optimized presentation of messages, the combined presentation and the grouped presentation may be used alone or in combination.
In particular, fig. 10 illustrates a presentation method of a message according to still another embodiment, and an execution subject of the method may be an instant messaging client, for example, the first client or the second client illustrated in fig. 1. The method comprises the following steps: step S1010, receiving a forwarding instruction for forwarding a plurality of original messages in the current chat to a target chat; step S1020, displaying the plurality of original messages in groups as a plurality of groups of messages in a target chat window corresponding to the target chat. The steps are as follows:
first, in step S1010, a forwarding instruction for forwarding a plurality of original messages in a current chat to a target chat is received. It should be noted that, for the description of step S1010, reference may be made to the foregoing description of step S210, and details are not described herein.
Next, in response to the forwarding instruction received in step S1010, in step S1020, a plurality of original message packets are displayed as a plurality of groups of messages in a target chat window corresponding to the target chat.
In one embodiment, the time interval between two adjacent sets of messages in the plurality of sets of messages is greater than a predetermined threshold. The time interval between two adjacent groups of messages refers to the time interval between the last message in the previous group of messages and the first message in the next group of messages. In a specific embodiment, the predetermined threshold may be set according to practical experience, such as 1h or 5 h.
In one embodiment, the display of the message packets may be embodied in a smaller spacing between messages within a group relative to the spacing between groups.
In one embodiment, this step may include: and displaying the chat topic corresponding to each group of messages in the plurality of groups of messages. With respect to the generation and determination of the chat topic therein, in one particular embodiment, the chat topic is automatically generated based on the message content of the corresponding original message in each set of messages. More specifically, for the message content included in each group of messages, in one example, a natural language processing mechanism may be utilized to extract keywords or generate text summaries as chat topics for the group of messages. In another example, chat topics may be determined using text processing models, neural network algorithms, clustering algorithms, and the like.
In a specific example, as shown in fig. 11, in response to a forwarding instruction issued for a plurality of original messages in a group chat window, wherein the forwarding instruction corresponds to a click operation on a forwarding icon 1110, the plurality of original messages are displayed in a group in a chat window with Baby, wherein the chat subjects of the groups of messages are included, such as Baby happy birthday and millions of profits shown in fig. 11.
In another specific embodiment, the chat topic can also be determined by user input. More specifically, between step S1010 and step S1020, the method may further include: responding to a forwarding instruction, popup windows display the plurality of groups of messages, and receiving chat topics input aiming at each group of messages in the plurality of groups of messages; and receiving confirmation instructions aiming at the multiple groups of messages.
In an example, as shown in fig. 12, in response to a forwarding instruction issued for a plurality of original messages in a current chat window, an editing interface for a plurality of groups of messages is displayed, and editing of a chat topic by a user is received at the editing interface, where the editing includes modifying revenue breaking of the chat topic into revenue breaking of a project group, receiving a confirmation instruction for the edited plurality of groups of messages, and switching to a target chat, the edited plurality of groups of messages can be viewed in the target chat window.
On the other hand, in a specific embodiment, for the display of the chat topic, a highlighted manner may be adopted, so that the user can quickly locate the main point of the chat topic, and further quickly locate the message content required by the user. It should be noted that, for highlighting, reference may be made to the related description in the foregoing embodiments, which is not repeated herein.
Further, in the grouping display, a combined display of the information in the group can be further included. In one embodiment, the plurality of groups of messages include a first group of messages, the first group of messages corresponds to a first number of consecutive original messages in the plurality of original messages, and the first group of messages includes a second number of processed messages. Based on this, step S1020 may include: and merging and displaying the first number of original messages as the second number of processed messages. It should be noted that, for the related description, reference may be made to the foregoing description of step S220.

Next, in response to the optimized display instruction, a plurality of original message groups may be displayed as a plurality of groups of messages in step S1620. In one embodiment, multiple sets of messages may be displayed in a pop-up window. In another embodiment, multiple original messages may instead be displayed as multiple groups of messages in the current chat window.
It should be noted that, for the description of step S1610, reference may be made to the description of step S910, and for the description of step S1620, reference may be made to the description of step S1020 and step S1420.
In the method for displaying the messages disclosed in the embodiments of the present specification, in a scenario where a user browses history chat messages in batches, by displaying a plurality of original messages in a grouping manner, the user can be helped to classify the messages, and further, key information can be extracted quickly.
