Detailed Description
The technical solution in the present application will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a schematic view of an application scenario provided in an embodiment of the present application. An application scenario of the method provided in the embodiment of the present application will be described below with reference to fig. 1.
Currently, the institute of international automatic engineers (atm) classifies the automatic driving technology into six grades L0 to L5, wherein the grade L0 represents the conventional manual driving, and the grades L1 to L5 classify the maturity of the automatic driving. And the L3 level automatic driving technique represents a conditional automatic driving technique. Under the L3 level, the automatic driving vehicle can realize the automatic driving of most road conditions and take over a majority of driving functions of the vehicle. But the driver also needs to take over the vehicle in time when an emergency occurs. At this level, the driver only needs to pay attention to the road condition information at any time, and the situation that the automatic driving vehicle does not know how to process the road condition because of encountering the unidentified road condition is prevented. At the L4 and L5 levels, little driver intervention is required and the vehicle can be fully autopilot.
The automatic driving mode described hereinafter may particularly refer to the vehicle being in the above-listed L3 level and above.
As shown in fig. 1, in the case of the popularization of the automatic driving, the automatic driving vehicle may take over the driving function in the automatic driving section, the driver may perform video viewing, game interaction and other entertainment items in the cabin, and in the non-automatic driving section, or in the case of an emergency such as road construction, lane narrowing, and for the safety of the driver, the driver takes over the vehicle and drives manually.
There is a technology that an autonomous vehicle uses a parking position (P position) as a criterion for whether to activate an entertainment item, that is, when the autonomous vehicle is in the P position, all entertainment items are allowed to be activated, and when the autonomous vehicle is not in the P position, that is, in operation, entertainment items other than audio-only items are not allowed to be activated, however, this method cannot satisfy a driver's demand for enabling an entertainment item other than audio-only items while the vehicle is in operation, particularly, when the vehicle is in an autonomous driving mode.
Therefore, the application program activating method includes the steps that the automatic driving vehicle determines that the automatic driving vehicle is in an automatic driving mode and located in an automatic driving road section, the activatable target application program is determined according to the running time length required by the application program which can be provided, the application program can support running of one or more entertainment items which are not pure audio, and finally the target application program is activated, so that when the automatic driving vehicle is in the automatic driving mode and located in the automatic driving road section, a driver can start the entertainment items except for the pure audio, and the entertainment requirements of the driver are met.
For better understanding of the embodiments of the present application, the following first briefly describes the structure of an autonomous vehicle suitable for the method of activating an application provided by the present application with reference to fig. 2. The gateway is only named as one name, and other processors capable of converting signals of the above parts into each other can be replaced.
In the components, the domain controller is a function block which divides the automobile electronic system according to functions, and a system architecture in each function block is mainly built by the domain controller. In the embodiment of the present application, the domain controller may specifically refer to a domain controller for managing an entertainment system. For example, the domain controller may be used to determine an activatable target application and activate the activatable target application or disable a non-activatable application.
Navigation systems may include, for example, but are not limited to, global Positioning System (GPS), beiDou satellite navigation system (BDS), real-time kinematic (RTK), and Ultra Wide Band (UWB) positioning systems. In embodiments of the present application, the navigation system may be used to locate the location of the autonomous vehicle itself and determine the autonomous remaining time based on the vehicle speed and the distance remaining on the autonomous road segment.

The following describes in detail a method for activating an application program according to an embodiment of the present application with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the embodiments shown below will describe the specific flow of the method in terms of interaction of components within an autonomous vehicle, but should not constitute any limitation on the subject of execution of the method. The method provided by the embodiment of the present application can be executed as long as it is possible to execute a program in which codes of the method provided by the embodiment of the present application are recorded. For example, the car machine may also be replaced with a component (e.g., a chip, a system on a chip, or other functional modules capable of calling and executing programs) configured in the car machine. The embodiments of the present application do not limit this.
Fig. 3 is a schematic flowchart of a method for activating an application according to an embodiment of the present application. The method 300 shown in fig. 3 may include S310 to S340, and the respective steps of fig. 3 will be described in detail below.
It should be understood that reference hereinafter to a vehicle is to an autonomous vehicle. For convenience of description, "vehicle" and "autonomous vehicle" are used interchangeably and are used as they are expressed.
S310, the domain controller of the automatic driving vehicle determines that the domain controller is in an automatic driving mode and located in an automatic driving road section.
Autonomous vehicles may be driven in both an autonomous driving mode and a manual driving mode. When the vehicle is in the automatic driving road section, the vehicle can enter the automatic driving mode in a manual mode, and whether the vehicle enters the automatic driving mode or not can be automatically judged according to the current position, namely the vehicle automatically enters the automatic driving mode. The embodiment of the present application does not limit this. The autopilot module may record whether the vehicle is in an autopilot mode or a manual driving mode and may send this information to the domain controller.
An autonomous road segment may also be referred to as an autonomous road. In an autonomous driving segment, a highly networked traffic infrastructure can provide dynamic information and control commands of surrounding vehicles for a single autonomous vehicle within milliseconds, and autonomous driving can be achieved on major roads including dedicated lanes. Typically, the autopilot segment may be marked in a map, and thus, the navigation system may identify vehicles located in the autopilot segment. Or, roadside marks can be respectively installed at an exit and an entrance of the automatic driving road section, and when the vehicle is about to enter the automatic driving road section or is about to exit the automatic driving road section, whether the vehicle is located on the automatic driving road section can be determined by detecting the roadside marks, or the roadside marks can send prompt messages for the vehicle to enter or leave the automatic driving road section.
Optionally, S310 specifically includes:
s3101, the domain controller receives first indication information from the navigation system, the first indication information indicating that the autonomous vehicle is in an autonomous driving segment.
S3102, the domain controller receives second indication information from the autonomous driving module, the second indication information indicating that the autonomous vehicle is in the autonomous driving mode.
In S3101, after the user' S operation of the navigation system to input the destination, the navigation system may collect an area where an autonomous driving section is identified by a navigation route from the current position to the destination, and determine whether the vehicle is located on the autonomous driving section according to the position of the autonomous driving vehicle. The navigation system may send first indication information to the domain controller to indicate that the autonomous vehicle is located in the autonomous driving zone when it is determined that the vehicle is located in the autonomous driving zone. The navigation system may not transmit the first indication information or transmit the third indication information to indicate that the vehicle is in the non-autonomous driving section when the autonomous vehicle is in the non-autonomous driving section.
Further, the navigation system can calculate the remaining time of automatic driving according to the vehicle speed and the remaining distance of the automatic driving road section. The remaining driving time may specifically be remaining driving time of the automated driving vehicle in the automated driving mode to complete the automated driving section. It should be understood that the autopilot remaining time is for a certain vehicle, a certain autopilot segment.
The navigation system may also send the autopilot remaining time to the domain controller. The remaining autonomous driving time may be transmitted together with the first instruction information or may be transmitted separately. The embodiments of the present application do not limit this.
In S3102, the automatic driving module may determine whether to transmit the second indication information to the domain controller according to the current driving mode of the vehicle. For example, when the vehicle is in the automatic driving mode, the automatic driving module sends second indication information to the domain controller to indicate that the vehicle is in the automatic driving mode; and when the vehicle is in the manual driving mode, not sending the second indication information or sending fourth indication information to indicate that the vehicle is in the manual driving mode.
S320, determining one or more target application programs which can be activated by the domain controller according to the running time length respectively required by at least one application program which can be provided, and
s330, the domain controller activates the one or more target applications.
Entertainment items of the non-audio-only type are specifically entertainment items other than audio-only, that is, entertainment items that may be carried in different media forms such as text, pictures, video, and the like, in addition to audio. Non-audio-only entertainment items may include, for example, but are not limited to, video, games, and the like.
The application may be provided, for example, by an entertainment system in an autonomous vehicle. Each application is capable of supporting the execution of one or more non-audio-only entertainment items. For example, the application "Xiaoxiaole" may support the execution of an entertainment item. For another example, a video application may support the operation of multiple entertainment items of a non-pure audio category, such as short video or long video for news, movies, and art shows. The number of entertainment items supported by an application and their contents are not limited in this application.
In non-audio-only entertainment, there may be human-computer interaction, or the need for viewing by a user, and therefore, there may be a great safety concern for a driver driving a car. According to the embodiment of the application, whether the application program can be activated or not is determined according to the current driving mode and the current road section of the vehicle, and under the condition that the application program can be activated, the target application program suitable for being activated currently is selected according to the running time length of the entertainment item supported by each application program, and the target application program is activated. In response, the inactivated application may not be activated. An inactivated application may be referred to as a disabled application. The activated application may be turned on or off in response to an operation by the user. The disabled application cannot be turned on or off in response to the user's operation.
In one implementation, activating an application may be performing an operation to un-disable the application. Not activating an application may be to not perform any operation on the application.
As previously described, an application can support the execution of one or more non-audio-only entertainment items. The specific process by which the domain controller determines whether it is activatable according to the run length is described below without loss of generality by taking the first application and the second application as an example. It should be understood that "first" and "second" are used to distinguish the applications containing different numbers of entertainment items, and should not be construed as limiting the order of application.
One possible scenario is where the at least one application provided by the autonomous vehicle comprises a first application that supports only one non-audio-only entertainment item. For example, the first application is a "happy" game. The domain controller can determine the maximum operation duration of the first application program according to historical data of the operation duration of the first application program, which is prestored in the vehicle. It should be appreciated that historical data, including operating hours, may be stored in the autonomous vehicle for use of the first application. For example, if the first application program "xiao le" has the pre-stored historical data of the running time length of "xiao le" of 10 minutes, 15 minutes, and 20 minutes, it can be determined that the maximum running time length of "xiao le" is 20 minutes. The domain controller may determine that the first application is an activatable target application in a case where a maximum operation time period of the first application is less than or equal to an automated driving remaining time. The domain controller may activate the first application.
Another possibility is that the at least one application provided by the autonomous vehicle comprises a second application supporting a plurality of non-audio-only entertainment items. For example, the second application is an application of the video playback class. The domain controller may determine that the second application is an activatable target application when a minimum operation duration of the second application is less than or equal to the remaining auto-driving time, where the minimum operation duration of the second application may be determined according to pre-stored operation durations respectively required by a plurality of non-pure audio-like entertainment items supported by the second application. For example, the second application video includes short videos such as news and headlines, long videos such as movies and art shows, and the like, where the short videos have a duration of 5 minutes and 10 minutes, and the long videos have a duration of 1 hour and 1.5 hours, and then the minimum running duration of the second application video is 5 minutes. When the remaining time of the automatic driving is 8 minutes, which is greater than the minimum runtime length of the second application video, it may be determined that the second application video is an activatable target application. The domain controller may activate the second application.
Further, since the second application includes a plurality of entertainment items of non-audio-only type, and some of the plurality of entertainment items of non-audio-only type may need to be operated for more than the remaining time of automatic driving, the domain controller further determines the target entertainment item to be activated according to the operation time period of each entertainment item in order to ensure that the driver can use the entertainment items of which the remaining time of automatic driving is not exceeded. For example, in the above example, the domain controller may determine the target entertainment item that is activated according to the running time of each video, and if the remaining auto-driving time is 8 minutes, then the video with less than or equal to 8 minutes is the target entertainment item that is activated, and the video with more than 8 minutes is the target entertainment item that is deactivated. The domain controller may activate the second application, in particular, it is understood that the domain controller may activate the target entertainment item in the second application. Of course, the domain controller may activate all entertainment items in the second application if all entertainment items in the second application meet less than or the autopilot remaining time.
Thus, the domain controller may selectively activate the partially activatable target entertainment item therein upon activation of the second application. While other target entertainment items that are not determined to be activatable may not be deactivated, and the inactive entertainment items may be referred to as deactivated entertainment items.
It should be appreciated that if the autonomous vehicle may be located on an autonomous driving road segment due to some emergency but not in autonomous driving mode, and the driver is driving manually, no entertainment other than audio-only may be available, the domain controller may not activate the one or more target applications.
It should also be appreciated that the autonomous vehicle may also be in a manual driving mode and located on a non-autonomous driving route segment, and the domain controller may not activate the one or more target applications if the driver desires to drive the vehicle and is not available for non-audio-only entertainment.
The autonomous vehicle may also be in an autonomous mode but on a non-autonomous segment, and the domain controller may not activate the one or more target applications because it cannot determine when the user has turned off the autonomous mode and cannot determine the exact remaining autonomous time.
S340, the domain controller sends a notice to the car machine, wherein the notice comprises an activated application program and/or an inactivated application program.
After the domain controller activates the one or more target application programs, the domain controller may send a notification to the car machine, where the notification carries the activated application program and/or the inactivated application program. It should be understood that since the in-vehicle machine may predetermine the application programs that can be provided by the autonomous vehicle, after learning the activated application programs, the inactivated application programs may be determined; alternatively, the active application may be determined after the inactive application is known. Therefore, the activated application program and the inactivated application program can be presented to the user through the display screen of the car machine.
The car machine display screen displays the activated application program and the inactivated application program on the screen for the user to select. In response to the user's operation, the target application selected by the user may be opened.
It has been mentioned above that in case the application supports a plurality of entertainment items of the non-audio only type, the domain controller may further activate the target entertainment item therein. Thus, the domain controller may also carry in the notification the entertainment items activated and/or not activated in a certain activated application. Therefore, after the user starts the application program, the car machine can further present the activated entertainment items and the inactivated entertainment items to the user through the car machine display screen, wherein the specific presentation mode is such as but not limited to that the icons of the activated entertainment items have no special marks and do not display exceptions, and exclamation marks are displayed on the icons of the inactivated entertainment items to warn the user. The embodiment of the application does not limit the presentation mode of the activated and inactivated entertainment items on the display screen of the car machine.
It will be appreciated that the opening of the application by the user does not mean that the user opens all entertainment items in the application, and that the user may select an active entertainment item and manually open it as desired.
Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of an activation state of an application program displayed on a display screen of a vehicle device according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 4, the UI on the display screen of the car machine displays an activated application and an inactivated application. Wherein the activated application program comprises at least one activated entertainment item and can also comprise an inactivated entertainment item.
Optionally, the on-board display screen may also display the remaining time of the autonomous driving and non-entertainment applications that are not disabled, e.g., maps, phone, etc. Fig. 4 is only a display of a part of the display screen of the in-vehicle device, and the display application of the display screen of the in-vehicle device is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
Based on the technical scheme, when the automatic driving vehicle is in the automatic driving mode and located on the automatic driving road section, the activatable target application program can be determined according to the running duration required by the application program, so that the activatable target application program can be started when the vehicle runs, the running safety of the vehicle can be guaranteed, the requirements of a driver can be met, and the user experience is improved.
It is to be understood that the specific flow of the method for activating an application provided by the embodiments of the present application is described above with reference to the drawings, which are only examples, and each step in the drawings is not necessarily required to be performed, and some steps may be skipped, for example. Moreover, the execution sequence of each step is not fixed or limited to that shown in the figures, and the execution sequence of each step should be determined by the function and the inherent logic of each step.
