Description

Process for removing THC in full-spectrum hemp extract oil
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of separation, purification and refining of full-spectrum hemp extract oil.
Background
The medical value of cannabis is gradually gaining importance from the medical community and government of various countries, where there is a concern about cannabis, two important chemical components, THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol). Both are similar in molecular structure but have completely different pharmacological properties.
THC is the major psychoactive chemical component of cannabis, can produce excitement and addiction, and is the main cause of cannabis being identified as a drug. THC was first isolated from cannabis in 1964 by israel scientists, and its therapeutic value was confirmed in 1988 by the discovery of cannabinoid receptors in humans. Many countries now recognize the medical value of THC, allowing cannabis to be used in medicine.
CBD is not psychoactive, does not produce excitement and addiction, but has many similar medical values to THC. In 2017, the world health organization stated that Cannabidiol (CBD) does not adversely affect human health, whereas cannabidiol may be used in the medical field. In the same year, the world wide anti-excitant agency (WADA) formally removed CBD cannabis extracts from the "list of contraband substances", a decision that became effective from 1 month 1 of 2018. At present, the hemp extract product (hemp extract oil) is very popular in European and American countries and is a popular health care nutriment.
The potential role of cannabis extract oil in the treatment of many common health problems, including anxiety, depression, acne and heart disease, has now been investigated. For those suffering from cancer, it may even provide a natural alternative to pain and symptom relief.
