Illustratively, the mobile electronic device may be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a palm top computer, a vehicle-mounted electronic device, a wearable device, an ultra-mobile personal computer (UMPC), a netbook or a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), and the like, and the non-mobile electronic device may be a server, a Network Attached Storage (NAS), a Personal Computer (PC), a Television (TV), a teller machine, a self-service machine, and the like, and the embodiments of the present application are not particularly limited.
The display device of the unread message in the embodiment of the present application may be a device having an operating system. The operating system may be an Android operating system (Android), an iOS operating system, or other possible operating systems, which is not specifically limited in the embodiments of the present application.
The unread message display device provided in the embodiment of the present application can implement each process implemented by the method embodiments of fig. 1 to 14, and is not described here again to avoid repetition.
Optionally, as shown in fig. 16, an electronic device 70 is further provided in this embodiment of the present application, and includes a processor 72, a memory 71, and a program or an instruction stored in the memory 71 and executable on the processor 72, where the program or the instruction is executed by the processor 72 to implement each process of the embodiment of the unread message display method, and can achieve the same technical effect, and in order to avoid repetition, details are not repeated here.
It should be noted that the electronic device in the embodiment of the present application includes the mobile electronic device and the non-mobile electronic device described above.
Fig. 17 is a schematic diagram of a hardware structure of an electronic device implementing an embodiment of the present application.
The electronic device 100 includes, but is not limited to: a radio frequency unit 101, a network module 102, an audio output unit 103, an input unit 104, a sensor 105, a display unit 106, a user input unit 107, an interface unit 108, a memory 109, and a processor 110.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the electronic device 100 may further comprise a power source (e.g., a battery) for supplying power to various components, and the power source may be logically connected to the processor 110 through a power management system, so as to implement functions of managing charging, discharging, and power consumption through the power management system. The electronic device structure shown in fig. 17 does not constitute a limitation of the electronic device, and the electronic device may include more or less components than those shown, or combine some components, or arrange different components, and thus, the description thereof is omitted.
The radio frequency unit 101 is configured to receive a first message when the first application icon is displayed. Or, the user input unit 107 is configured to receive a first input in a case where the first application icon is displayed. The first application icon includes an icon background including a first background portion and an icon body.
A processor 110 for updating an area ratio of the first background portion in the background of the icon; the area ratio of the first background portion in the background of the icon is associated with the number of unread messages for the target application corresponding to the first application icon.
According to the electronic device provided by the embodiment of the application, the area ratio of the first background part of the first application icon in the icon background is associated with the number of unread messages of the target application program corresponding to the first application icon; in this way, in the case where the electronic device receives a message through the target application, the electronic device may update the area ratio of the first background portion of the icon background in the icon background based on the number of unread messages of the target application after receiving the message, or, in the case where the electronic device receives the first input, the electronic device may update the area ratio of the first background portion of the icon background in the icon background based on the number of unread messages of the target application after receiving the first input, to prompt the user of the number of unread messages of the target application without displaying a numerical corner mark on the first application icon, so that an increase in the area of a display space corresponding to the first application icon may be avoided, and thus, the display space of the display screen of the electronic device may be saved.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the user input unit 107 is specifically configured to receive a first input when the first application icon is displayed.
The processor 110 is specifically configured to, in response to the first input, update an area ratio of the first background portion in the background of the icon from a first ratio to a second ratio, and mark a first number of unread messages as a read state.
Wherein, the first proportion is as follows: an area ratio of the first background portion to the background of the icon before receiving the first input; the difference between the first and second ratios is associated with a first quantity.
Therefore, the electronic equipment can directly update the area ratio of the first background part in the icon background from the first ratio to the second ratio according to the first input of the user, and directly mark the first number of unread messages of the target application program as the read state without the need of multiple operations of the user, so that the efficiency of marking the messages by the electronic equipment can be improved.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the user input unit 107 is specifically configured to receive the first message when the first application icon is displayed.
The processor 110 is specifically configured to update the number of unread messages of the target application from the second number to the third number and update the area ratio of the first background portion in the icon background from the third ratio to the fourth ratio without processing the first message.
Wherein the third ratio is: an area ratio of the first background portion to the background of the icon prior to receiving the first message; the difference between the third and fourth ratios and the difference between the second and third quantities are associated.
In this way, when the electronic device receives the first message, if the electronic device does not process the first message, the electronic device may update the number of unread messages of the target application from the second number to the third number, and increase the area ratio of the first background portion in the icon background to prompt the user of the number of unread messages of the target application without displaying a numerical corner mark on the first application icon, so that the display space of the electronic device may be saved.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present application, the target application has a first state.
The processor 110 is specifically configured to update the area ratio of the first background portion in the icon background from the first ratio to the second ratio when the target application is in the first state.
Therefore, the electronic device can update the area ratio of the first background part in the icon background from the first ratio to the second ratio and mark the first number of unread messages as the read state instead of directly marking the first number of unread messages of the target application program as the read state under the condition that the target application program is in the first state, so that misoperation caused by mistaken touch of a user can be avoided, and the accuracy of marking the messages by the electronic device can be improved.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the target application has a second state.
The processor 110 is further configured to keep the area ratio of the first background portion on the background of the icon unchanged when the target application is in the second state.
Therefore, the electronic device can keep the area ratio of the first background part on the icon background unchanged under the condition that the target application program is in the second state, namely, the unread message of the target application program is not marked as the read state, so that misoperation caused by mistaken touch of a user can be avoided, and the accuracy of marking the message by the electronic device can be improved.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the user input unit 107 is further configured to receive a second input of the first application icon by the user.
The processor 110 is further configured to adjust the target application from the first state to the second state in response to the second input if the second input satisfies the first preset condition.
Therefore, the target application program can be adjusted from the first state to the second state by the electronic equipment according to the second input of the user to the first application icon, so that the electronic equipment can keep the area ratio of the first background part on the icon background unchanged, misoperation caused by mistaken touch of the user can be avoided, and the accuracy of marking the message by the electronic equipment can be improved.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the user input unit 107 is further configured to receive a third input from the user.
And a display unit 106, configured to display, in response to the third input, first content indicating the number of unread messages of the target application program if the third input satisfies a second preset condition.
Therefore, the electronic equipment can display the number of the unread messages of the target application program according to the third input of the user under the condition that the input parameter of the third input meets the second preset condition so as to prompt the user of the number of the unread messages of the target application program, and a digital corner mark does not need to be displayed on the first application icon, so that the display space of the display screen of the electronic equipment can be saved.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the display unit 106 is further configured to display a target control corresponding to the first message.
The processor 110 is further configured to update the display position of the target control, and update the area ratio of the first background portion in the background of the icon from a third ratio to a fourth ratio when the display position at least partially coincides with the display position of the first application icon.
Therefore, the display position of the target control can be displayed and updated by the electronic equipment, and the area ratio of the first background part in the icon background is updated from the third ratio to the fourth ratio under the condition that the display position of the target control is at least partially overlapped with the display position of the first application icon, so that the variety of unread message prompts of the electronic equipment can be improved, and the use experience of a user can be improved.
It should be understood that, in the embodiment of the present application, the input unit 104 may include a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) 1041 and a microphone 1042, and the graphics processing unit 1041 processes image data of a still picture or a video obtained by an image capturing device (e.g., a camera) in a video capturing mode or an image capturing mode. The display unit 106 may include a display panel 1061, and the display panel 1061 may be configured in the form of a liquid crystal display, an organic light emitting diode, or the like. The user input unit 107 includes a touch panel 1071 and other input devices 1072. The touch panel 1071 is also referred to as a touch screen. The touch panel 1071 may include two parts of a touch detection device and a touch controller. Other input devices 1072 may include, but are not limited to, a physical keyboard, function keys (e.g., volume control keys, switch keys, etc.), a trackball, a mouse, and a joystick, which are not described in detail herein. The memory 109 may be used to store software programs as well as various data including, but not limited to, application programs and an operating system. The processor 110 may integrate an application processor, which primarily handles operating systems, user interfaces, applications, etc., and a modem processor, which primarily handles wireless communications. It will be appreciated that the modem processor described above may not be integrated into the processor 110.
The embodiment of the present application further provides a readable storage medium, where a program or an instruction is stored on the readable storage medium, and when the program or the instruction is executed by a processor, the program or the instruction implements each process of the embodiment of the method for displaying an unread message, and can achieve the same technical effect, and in order to avoid repetition, details are not repeated here.
The processor is the processor in the electronic device described in the above embodiment. The readable storage medium includes a computer readable storage medium, such as a read-only memory (ROM), a Random Access Memory (RAM), a magnetic disk or an optical disk, and the like.
The embodiment of the present application further provides a chip, where the chip includes a processor and a communication interface, the communication interface is coupled to the processor, and the processor is configured to execute a program or an instruction to implement each process of the embodiment of the display method of an unread message, and can achieve the same technical effect, and in order to avoid repetition, details are not repeated here.
It should be understood that the chips mentioned in the embodiments of the present application may also be referred to as system-on-chip, system-on-chip or system-on-chip, etc.
It should be noted that, in this document, the terms "comprises," "comprising," or any other variation thereof, are intended to cover a non-exclusive inclusion, such that a process, method, article, or apparatus that comprises a list of elements does not include only those elements but may include other elements not expressly listed or inherent to such process, method, article, or apparatus. Based on such understanding, the technical solutions of the present application may be embodied in the form of a software product, which is stored in a storage medium (such as ROM/RAM, magnetic disk, optical disk) and includes instructions for enabling a terminal (such as a mobile phone, a computer, a server, an air conditioner, or a network device) to execute the method according to the embodiments of the present application.

Claims (10)

1. A method for displaying unread messages, the method comprising:
receiving a first message or a first input in a case where a first application icon is displayed; the first application icon comprises an icon background and an icon body, and the icon background comprises a first background part;
updating an area ratio of the first background portion in the icon background; the area ratio of the first background portion in the icon background is associated with a number of unread messages of a target application, the target application corresponding to the first application icon.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein receiving a first message or a first input while displaying a first application icon comprises:
receiving the first input while the first application icon is displayed;
the updating the area ratio of the first background part in the icon background comprises:
in response to the first input, updating the area ratio of the first background part in the icon background from a first ratio to a second ratio, and marking a first number of unread messages as a read state;
wherein the first proportion is: a ratio of an area of the first background portion on the icon background prior to receiving the first input; the difference between the first and second ratios is associated with the first quantity.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein receiving a first message or a first input while displaying a first application icon comprises:
receiving a first message in a case where the first application icon is displayed;
the updating the area ratio of the first background part in the icon background comprises:
under the condition that the first message is not processed, updating the number of unread messages of a target application program from a second number to a third number, and updating the area ratio of the first background part in the icon background from a third ratio to a fourth ratio;
wherein the third ratio is: an area ratio of the first background portion to the icon background prior to receiving the first message; the difference between the third and fourth ratios and the difference between the second and third quantities are associated.
4. The method of claim 2, wherein the target application has a first state;
the updating the area ratio of the first background part in the icon background from a first ratio to a second ratio comprises:
updating the area ratio of the first background part in the icon background from a first ratio to a second ratio under the condition that the target application program is in the first state;
the target application also has a second state;
keeping the area ratio of the first background portion on the icon background unchanged when the target application is in the second state.
5. The method of claim 4, wherein if the target application is in the second state, the method further comprises, before keeping the area ratio of the first background portion to the icon background unchanged:
receiving a second input of the first application icon by the user;
and adjusting the target application program from the first state to the second state in response to the second input under the condition that the second input meets a first preset condition.
6. The method according to claim 3, wherein before the area ratio of the first background portion in the icon background is updated from a third ratio to a fourth ratio, the method further comprises:
displaying a target control corresponding to the first message;
updating the display position of the target control;
the updating the area ratio of the first background part in the icon background from a third ratio to a fourth ratio comprises:
and updating the area ratio of the first background part in the icon background from a third ratio to a fourth ratio when the display position is at least partially overlapped with the display position of the first application icon.
7. An apparatus for displaying an unread message, the apparatus comprising: the device comprises a receiving module and an updating module;
the receiving module is used for receiving a first message or a first input under the condition that a first application icon is displayed; the first application icon comprises an icon background and an icon body, and the icon background comprises a first background part;
the updating module is used for updating the area ratio of the first background part in the icon background; an area ratio of the first background portion in the icon background is associated with a number of unread messages of a target application, the target application corresponding to the first application icon.
8. The device for displaying an unread message according to claim 7, wherein the receiving module is specifically configured to receive a first message when the first application icon is displayed;
the updating module is specifically configured to update the number of unread messages of a target application from a second number to a third number and update the area ratio of the first background portion in the icon background from a third ratio to a fourth ratio without processing the first message;
wherein the third ratio is: an area ratio of the first background portion to the icon background prior to receiving the first message; the difference between the third and fourth ratios and the difference between the second and third quantities are associated.
9. An electronic device comprising a processor, a memory and a program or instructions stored on the memory and executable on the processor, the program or instructions, when executed by the processor, implementing the steps of the method of displaying unread messages according to any of claims 1 to 6.
10. A readable storage medium, on which a program or instructions are stored, which when executed by a processor implement the steps of the method of displaying an unread message according to any of claims 1 to 6.
