In this implementation manner, the recorded first video may be any video generated after the electronic device records the shooting preview interface. The first video can be directly played after the recording is completed; and can also be played in a video viewing interface.
In this implementation, the receiving the first input from the user to the first region of the first image includes: after recording a first video, a first input from a user to a first region of any one frame of video image of the first video is received.
It should be noted that the implementation form of the first image is not limited to this, and may be specifically determined according to practical situations, which is not limited herein.
In this embodiment of the present application, the first input may be a click input, a double click input, a long press input, or a sliding input, etc. of the user in the first area of the first image through a touch device such as a finger or a stylus, and the application is not limited herein.
In this embodiment of the present application, the first area is a local area including an input position of the first input in the first image. In particular, in case the first image is a preview image acquired by a camera, the first region may represent a region of interest (Region of Interest, RIO), or a focus region. The electronic device may also enable focusing of an image of a first region of the first image in response to the first input. In this case, the determination of the first region may refer to an algorithm for determining the ROI in the related art, which is not described herein. The shape of the first area may be rectangular, circular or other regular shapes, which may be specifically determined according to practical situations, and the embodiment of the present application is not specifically limited herein.
Step 102, in response to the first input, displaying a first thumbnail in a first interface, where the first interface includes a shooting preview interface or an album display interface, and the first thumbnail is an image in which an image of a first area of the first image is reduced according to a preset ratio.
In this embodiment of the present application, in response to the first input, the electronic device may generate the first thumbnail according to a first area of the first image acted by the first input, and display the first thumbnail on the first interface.
In a specific implementation, the first interface may be the shooting preview interface. The first thumbnail may be displayed in a preset area of the shooting preview interface, where the preset area may be an area of a thumbnail window in the shooting preview interface in which an image or a video that is shot last time is displayed, for example, a local area in a lower left corner of the shooting preview interface or a local area in a lower right corner of the shooting preview interface, which may be specifically determined according to an actual situation, and embodiments of the present application are not limited specifically.
The first interface may also be the album display interface, in which a plurality of thumbnails of photos or videos may be displayed. Specifically, the album display interface may be a display interface of an album program, or may be a display interface of other programs in a scene where an album needs to be displayed. The first thumbnail may be displayed as a thumbnail of the first image or the first video in the album display interface, and may specifically be determined according to an actual situation, which is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.
In a specific implementation, the first thumbnail may be obtained by reducing an image of the first area of the first image according to a preset ratio. For example, taking the first interface as a shooting preview interface, as shown in fig. 2a and 2b, the shooting preview interface a includes a preview area 11 displaying a shooting preview image and a preset area 20 displaying a first thumbnail, and the preset ratio may be obtained according to a ratio of a display area of the first area 10 to a display area of the preset area 20.
In the conventional implementation, assuming that the camera of the electronic device shoots 1200 ten thousand pixels, for the preview area 11 with the ratio of 4:3, the pixels for shooting the preview image are typically 4000×3000, and the pixels for displaying the thumbnail image in the preset area 20 are typically 500×375. In view of this, in the conventional implementation, the electronic device generally reduces the shot preview image displayed in the preview area 11 according to the above-mentioned 8:1 zoom ratio and displays the reduced shot preview image in the preset area 20.
In the embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 2b, the electronic device is configured to capture the image of the first area 10 of the shot preview image displayed in the preview area 11, and reduce the image to generate the first thumbnail. Assuming that the pixels of the first region 10 are 800×600 and the pixels of the first thumbnail displayed in the preset region 20 are 500×375, the preset ratio in the embodiment of the present application is 1.6:1. Compared with the existing implementation mode, the reduction ratio is obviously reduced. Therefore, in the embodiment of the present application, the first thumbnail displayed in the preset area 20 can have a clearer display effect, and is more convenient for the user to view.
In an optional implementation manner, after receiving the first input of the user to the first area of the first image, if the input to at least one other area of the first image is also received, the electronic device may generate a plurality of thumbnails according to the number of times of input of the user and the input position of each input, so as to display the plurality of thumbnails in the shooting preview interface.

The electronic device may receive a fourth input of the second thumbnail by the user at the first interface or a fourth input of the second identifier by the user at the second interface to replace a thumbnail associated with the first image with the second thumbnail.
In this way, the electronic device can firstly determine the first thumbnail generated by the key area focused or interested by the user as the thumbnail associated with the first image by responding to the first input, and compared with the third thumbnail generated by splicing in the first implementation form, the content of the first thumbnail is clearer; user operations may be reduced compared to requiring user selection of certain thumbnails in the second implementation described above. In addition, when the user needs to change or adjust the first thumbnail, the thumbnail associated with the first image can be replaced by executing fourth input on the second thumbnail or the second identifier, so that the operation is simple and convenient.
In a specific implementation, the fourth input may be a click input, a double click input, a long press input, or a slide input of the second thumbnail or the second identifier by the user through a touch device such as a finger or a stylus, which may be specifically determined according to actual situations, and the application is not limited herein.
In an alternative embodiment, the first thumbnail, the second thumbnail, the first logo, and the second logo may be used for quick editing of the first image.
In this alternative embodiment, the following may be specifically implemented:
in a first implementation form, optionally, after displaying the second thumbnail in the first interface, the method further includes:
in the case of receiving a fifth input of a user to the first thumbnail or the first identifier, intercepting an image of the first area of the first image in response to the fifth input, and generating a second image;
upon receiving a sixth input of a user to the second thumbnail or the second identifier, an image of the second area of the first image is intercepted in response to the sixth input, generating a third image.
In this implementation, the electronic device may directly intercept the image of the first area to generate the first image based on the fifth input of the user to the first thumbnail or the first identifier. It will be appreciated that in this implementation, the first input performed by the user may be used to add a cropping flag, and the user may selectively determine the first region in the first image in which to perform the first input based on the requirements of subsequent cropping. Based on the above, when the first image is cropped, the fifth input can be directly executed on the first thumbnail or the first identifier, so that quick cropping is realized.
In addition, the electronic equipment can automatically identify the target object in the first image and provide more candidate cutting marks for subsequent cutting, so that the user can cut the first image more conveniently and flexibly.
In a specific implementation, the fifth input may be a click input, a double click input, a long press input, or a slide input of the first thumbnail or the first identifier by the user through a touch device such as a finger or a stylus, which may be specifically determined according to actual situations, and the application is not limited herein.
The sixth input may be a click input, a double click input, a long press input, or a slide input of the second thumbnail or the second identifier by the user through a touch device such as a finger or a stylus, and may specifically be determined according to actual situations, which is not limited herein.

in response to receiving a tenth input from a user to the first thumbnail or the first identifier, adding target content in the first area of the first image;
In the event that an eleventh input by the user to the second thumbnail or the second identifier is received, in response to the eleventh input, adding target content in the second area of the first image.
In this implementation manner, the target content may be content such as text, picture, expression, and sticker, which may be used for editing an image, and may be specifically determined according to actual situations, which is not limited herein.
In particular, a first input performed by the user may be used to add the edit mark, and the user may selectively determine a first area in the first image in which to perform the first input based on a requirement of subsequent editing to add the edit mark. Illustratively, the user can anticipate a position where a sticker is to be added later in the preview image before photographing, and perform a first input of adding an editing mark; and then, when the image viewing interface of the first image is displayed, determining the position where the sticker needs to be added through the first mark, and helping a user to quickly edit.
In addition, the electronic device can automatically identify the target object in the first image and provide more candidate editing marks for subsequent editing, so that the user can edit the first image more conveniently and flexibly.
In a specific implementation, the tenth input or the eleventh input may be a click input, a double click input, a long press input, or a slide input of the target content by the user through a touch device such as a finger or a stylus, which may be specifically determined according to actual situations, and the application is not limited herein.
In an embodiment of the present application, optionally, in response to the first input, displaying, in a first interface, a first thumbnail includes:
in response to the first input, a first thumbnail is displayed in a first interface and a third identification is displayed on the first image, the third identification indicating that an image of the first area has generated the first thumbnail.
In this optional embodiment, in response to the first input, the electronic device may prompt, while displaying the first thumbnail in the first interface, a first area determined by the user on the first image through the third identifier. The third mark may be a dashed frame surrounding the first area, as shown in fig. 2b and fig. 3b, or may be a blinking dot located at an arbitrary position in the first area. It may be understood that the third identifier may be a text, a symbol, an image, etc. used for indicating information, or may be a control or other container as a carrier for displaying information, including but not limited to a text identifier, a symbol identifier, an image identifier, etc., which may be specifically determined according to practical situations, and embodiments of the present application are not limited herein.
In the above embodiment, the electronic device may also prompt the user to identify the second area in the first image through the third identifier, as shown in fig. 3 b.
In summary, according to the display control method provided in the embodiment of the present application, the electronic device may generate, in response to the first input, a thumbnail based on the first area of the first image, and display the thumbnail on a viewing interface of an image or a video, or a shooting preview interface. The user can execute a first input, the key region concerned or interested by the user is selected in the first image, the electronic equipment can respond to the first input, the image content of the key region concerned or interested by the user is reduced by a preset proportion to generate a thumbnail, compared with the thumbnail generated by directly reducing the original photo in the prior art, the thumbnail generated by reducing the local key region concerned or interested by the user can display the local image information concerned or interested by the user in a larger size, so that the thumbnail can meet the personalized requirements of the user, can display the image information more clearly and effectively, and is convenient for the user to search and view.
