Abstract

The invention discloses a method for judging setting conditions of a fixed straight-going CAV special entrance lane of a signal intersection. The method is suitable for a timing control signal intersection with the number of straight-going lanes of the entrance lane being not less than 2, the driving direction to be set being 6: 00-22: 00, the hourly traffic volume of all entrance lanes being not less than 600 standard cars/hour and the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value being not more than 150 standard cars/hour. According to different situations of the number of straight-going lanes of the entrance lane and the traffic volume, the method proposes the minimum CAV proportion that the driving direction of the fixed straight-going CAV special entrance lane needs to be satisfied. The invention provides a quantitative method for judging setting conditions of a fixed straight-going CAV special entrance lane of a signal intersection, which is used as a judgment standard to guide the setting of the fixed straight-going CAV special entrance lane of the signal intersection, is beneficial to improving the traffic efficiency of the mixed traffic flow of the signal intersection, reducing the delay and the oil consumption, and provides a method support for the traffic organization optimization of the entrance lane of the signal intersection in the mixed traffic flow environment.

In the past research, some scholars at home and abroad research the influence of setting a CAV special lane on improving the road traffic capacity and relieving traffic jam based on the factors such as traffic volume, CAV proportion and the like, and find that setting the CAV special lane when the CAV proportion is low aggravates the jam of a common lane, and when the CAV proportion is more than 50%, setting the CAV special lane can reduce the CAV degradation probability, improve the efficiency of mixed traffic flow and relieve traffic jam. However, most of the road environments of the existing researches are expressways, the researches under urban working conditions are blank, and relevant setting standards are not clear, so that quantitative setting conditions need to be researched. Due to the traffic complexity of the urban signal intersection, compared with the arrangement of a straight-going CAV special lane, the arrangement of the straight-going CAV special entrance lane is more favorable for realizing the flexible organization of the mixed traffic flow, so that a quantitative judgment method needs to be provided according to the arrangement conditions of the straight-going CAV special entrance lane under the urban working condition so as to improve the passing efficiency of the whole mixed traffic flow and reduce delay and oil consumption. The most basic control mode of the signalized intersection is timing control of a single intersection, and the simplest setting form of the straight-running CAV special entrance lane is fixed, so that the fixed straight-running CAV special entrance lane is firstly unfolded in the research of the method for judging the setting conditions of the straight-running CAV special entrance lane of the signalized intersection under the urban working condition, thereby providing theoretical support for optimizing the traffic organization of the signalized intersection entrance lane under the mixed traffic flow environment.

The embodiment of the method for judging the setting condition of the fixed straight-running CAV special entrance lane at the signalized intersection is given by the implementation process and the inspection result, but the protection scope of the invention is not limited by the following embodiment.
1. Intersection overview
The method selects Yuhua road of Shijiazhuang city and the friendship street intersection for example analysis. The intersection is a cross signal intersection, and the minimum value of the sum of the hourly traffic volumes of all the entrance roads in all directions is obtained by investigating the traffic running condition of the intersection as shown in table 1.

2. CAV special entrance way arrangement scheme
According to the setting conditions of the fixed straight-running CAV special inlet lane, the lowest CAV proportion of the embodiment is determined, and is shown in the table 2. It was found that there is a higher demand for the minimum CAV ratio for setting up a fixed straight-going CAV-only entrance lane when traffic is small. For the east-west approach at the intersection, a fixed straight-going CAV special approach is set to meet the requirement that the lowest practical CAV proportion is not less than 0.35 all day long; the special fixed straight-going CAV entrance lane to be arranged on the north-south entrance lane needs to meet the requirement that the lowest practical CAV ratio is not less than 0.70 all day long, and the special fixed straight-going CAV entrance lane is arranged on the straight-going lane of the entrance lane closest to the center line of the road, as shown in the attached figure 4.

3. Simulation evaluation
Establishing a special fixed straight-running CAV entrance road and a mixed-running traffic flow environment of the intersection under the condition of no setting, taking the actually measured traffic volume and signal timing data as input, setting the simulation duration to be 3600s, programming iteration and carrying out comparative analysis on the set simulation result and the simulation result under the condition of no setting, wherein the obtained simulation results are shown in tables 3 and 4.

The results show that when the lowest CAV proportion required for setting the fixed straight-running CAV special entrance lane shown in table 2 is reached, compared with the situation that no setting is carried out, the fixed straight-running CAV special entrance lane setting scheme in four directions correspondingly has smaller vehicle-to-vehicle delay and vehicle-to-vehicle oil consumption, and more vehicles can pass through in each period on average. From the benefit aspect, the number of vehicles passing through the inlet lane in the four directions of the intersection is increased by 1.11% -3.22% at the peak time in the morning and at night, the delay of each vehicle is reduced by 4.33% -8.45%, and the oil consumption of each vehicle is reduced by 6.57% -9.03%, so that the effectiveness of the arrangement scheme of the fixed straight-running CAV special inlet lane at the friendship street-Yuhua road signalized intersection is proved, and the invention has universal applicability in practical application.
