The embodiment of the application can be applied to various types of display devices and servers (including but not limited to smart televisions, set top boxes and the like). The following describes a technical solution regarding a UI and operation steps related to implementing television program recommendation, by taking an intelligent television and a server as examples.
Fig. 6A shows a UI diagram of a tv broadcast screen according to an embodiment of the present application.
The smart tv device may play video of different physical channel video sources, such as ATV (analog television), DTV (digital television), HDMI (high definition multimedia interface), and tv application.
The figure shows the first video being played by the smart tv user interface playing window, which is a tv series "my first half-life" playing a tv station tv series channel, and the tv station logo is located at the upper left corner of the playing picture.
It should be noted that, when the video source of the tv broadcast program is DTV, the broadcast screen necessarily includes a tv station icon. The display device comprises a display and a first controller, wherein the display is used for displaying a user interface, and the user interface comprises a playing window; the first controller is configured to detect and identify a video source of a display device. For example, the first controller may identify the video source of the television of fig. 6A currently playing the first video as DTV.
In some embodiments, while the first video is being played, the display device is also configured to present other interactive elements that may include, for example, television home page controls, search controls, message button controls, mailbox controls, browser controls, favorites controls, signal bar controls, and the like.
To improve the convenience and the image of the UI of the television, in some embodiments, the first controller of the television in the embodiments of the present application controls the television and the UI thereof in response to the operation of the interactive element. For example, a user clicking on a search control through a controller such as a remote control may expose the search UI on top of other UIs, i.e., the UI controlling the application components to which the interactive elements are mapped can be made large, or run and displayed full screen. In some embodiments, the interactive element may also be operated by a sensor, which may be, but is not limited to, an acoustic input sensor, such as a microphone, which may detect a voice command including an indication of the desired interactive element. For example, the user may identify a desired interactive element, such as a search control, using a "television program recommendation" or any other suitable identification, and may also describe a desired action to be performed in relation to the desired interactive element. The first controller may recognize the voice command and submit data characterizing the interaction to the UI or its processing component or engine.
Fig. 6B shows a UI diagram of a television broadcast screen according to another embodiment of the present application.
The display device user interface playing window plays the first video, the video source of the first video is ATV, and the fact that no television station icon exists on the playing picture of the first video in the picture can be found.
When the video source is an ATV, the playing frame of the first video may also include a tv station icon.
In some embodiments, when the video source of the tv is HDMI, the tv playing screen may also be implemented without tv station icon as shown in fig. 6B, or may also be implemented with tv station icon as shown in fig. 6A.
It should be noted that, when the video source of the first video is DTV, the playing screen necessarily includes a tv station icon; when the video source of the first video is ATV or HDMI, the playing screen may or may not include the tv station icon.
Fig. 6C shows a UI diagram of a television broadcast screen according to another embodiment of the present application.
In some embodiments, the first controller of the display device is configured to send a first video recommendation request including identification information of a current first video source to a server, where the first video recommendation request is used for enabling the server to determine a first recommended media file that can be provided according to a first historical play record corresponding to the identification information, where the first historical play record is a historical play record of the display device when a signal source of the display device is the first video source, and the historical play records corresponding to different signal source identification information are different.
For example, after the television is turned on, a playing window of the user interface starts to play a video, and the first controller detects a first video source currently playing the first video to identify the video source, wherein the video source is identified as, for example, a DTV; the first controller will then send a first video recommendation request containing DTV identification information to the server.
The first controller can also identify the current video source of the television as a preset application, or an ATV (automatic transfer television), or an HDMI (high-definition multimedia interface), and the like, and the first controller obtains the identification information of the first video source according to the actual situation of the television. The preset application may be implemented in some embodiments as a video application that is pre-installed at the time of factory shipment of the display device.
In some embodiments, the first controller may detect a video source of a user while watching a program, thereby recognizing video sources of a preset application, DTV, ATV, HDMI, and the like.
It should be noted that, when the video source of the first video played by the playing window of the tv user interface is DTV or ATV, the playing progress of the first video cannot be controlled, and the on-demand program cannot be realized, so it is valuable to provide and recommend the first recommended media file of the same program with progress control and on-demand function for the user. The video source type of the first video currently played by the television can be immediately acquired through the detection of the first video source by the first controller.
In some embodiments, the first controller identifies the video source by reading identification information characterizing the video source channel in the database to obtain the first video source identification information.
The first controller reads identification information used for representing the video source from a preset database, and then determines the video source of the first video according to the corresponding relation between the identification information and the video source. For example, in the android-based system architecture, the video source of the system is recorded in the database during the use process. For example, the symbol 1 represents an ATV channel; the identifier 2 represents a DTV channel, the identifier 3 represents an HDMI channel, etc., and if the user is currently watching a DTV digital television program, the identifier information of its usage video source is stored in the database, and the first controller identifies the information by detecting the video source recorded in the database. For example, if the video source identification information recorded in the current database is 2, the first controller may determine that the current video source is the DTV according to the corresponding relationship between the identification information and the video source.
In some embodiments, a server provided herein comprises a second controller configured to: receiving a first video recommendation request containing first video source identification information sent by display equipment; determining a first recommended media file which can be provided according to a first historical play record corresponding to the identification information, wherein the first historical play record is a historical play record which is stored in the server by the display device when a signal source of the display device is a first video source, and the historical play records corresponding to different signal source identification information are different; and sending the description information of the first recommended media file to the display equipment.
For example, the server receives a first video recommendation request containing DTV identification information sent by the display device, and then performs algorithm recommendation according to a corresponding historical play record uploaded to the server by the corresponding display device when using a DTV video source to determine recommended media files that can be provided to the display device, that is, when the user display device uses different video sources, the recommended media files provided to the user display device by the server are also different. After determining the available recommended media files, the server sends the available recommended media files to the requesting display device, and sends the description information of the first recommended media files to the display device as follows.
The first recommended media file description information is based on the first recommended media file, and the user further operates a control containing a recommendation prompt message through the display equipment terminal, so that the brief information of the recommended media file can be acquired, and the beneficial effects of quick browsing and selection are achieved.
In some embodiments, the first controller of the display device receives first recommended media file description information sent by the server, and controls the play window to display a first recommended prompt message, where the first recommended prompt message is used to control the user interface to display an operation page including the first recommended media file description information after the first recommended prompt message receives a confirmation operation of a user.
For example, after the server determines that the first recommended media file description information which can be provided to the display device for the first recommended media file and is issued is provided, the first controller controls the play window to display the first recommendation prompting message, as shown by the solid rectangular line frame on the right side of the screen in fig. 6C; after the user confirms the first recommendation prompting message displayed on the user interface, the operation page including the description information of the first recommended media file shown in the dashed box in fig. 6C is displayed on the top layer of the user interface.
Fig. 6D shows a UI diagram of a television broadcast screen according to another embodiment of the present application.
In some embodiments, after the source of the display device is switched from the first video source to the second video source, the first controller is further configured to: and sending a second video recommendation request containing second video source identification information to a server, wherein the second video recommendation request is used for enabling the server to determine a second recommended media file which can be provided according to a second historical play record corresponding to the second video source identification information, and the second historical play record is a historical play record of the display device when a signal source of the display device is a second video source. For example, when the current first video source is a DTV, the user switches the video source to a display device system pre-installed video application, the first controller performs video source detection immediately, obtains a second video source type after the display device switches the video source, that is, the system pre-installed video application video source, obtains video source identification information of the system pre-installed video application video source, and then sends a second video recommendation request containing the system pre-installed video application identification information to the server to obtain a second recommended media file.
In some embodiments, after the second controller receives a first video recommendation request containing first video source identification information sent by a display device, the second controller is further configured to: receiving a second video recommendation request containing second video source identification information sent by display equipment; determining a second recommended media file which can be provided according to a second historical play record corresponding to the second video source identification information, wherein the second historical play record is a historical play record which is stored in the server by the display device when the signal source of the display device is a second video source; and sending the description information of the second recommended media file to the display equipment.
For example, the second controller of the server receives the second video recommendation request containing the system pre-installed video application identification information sent by the display device, acquires a second recommended media file to be provided to the display device through a recommendation algorithm according to a historical play record stored by a system pre-installed video application video source at the server, and sends description information of the second recommended media file to the display device.
In some embodiments, after the source of the display device is switched from the first video source to the second video source, the first controller is further configured to: and receiving second recommended media file description information sent by the server, and controlling the playing window to display a second recommended prompt message, wherein the second recommended prompt message is used for controlling the user interface to display an operation page containing the second recommended media file description information after the second recommended prompt message receives a confirmation operation of the user.
For example, after the server determines that the second recommended media file description information can be provided to the display device for the second recommended media file and is issued, the first controller controls the play window to display the second recommendation prompting message, as shown by the solid rectangular box on the right side of the screen in fig. 6D; after the user confirms the second recommendation prompting message displayed on the user interface, the operation page containing the description information of the second recommended media file shown in the dashed box in fig. 6D is displayed on the top layer of the user interface. And after the user confirms the recommendation prompting message, the operation page which can be displayed by the user is updated, and the updated description information of the second recommended media file is displayed.
Fig. 6E shows a UI diagram of a television broadcast screen according to another embodiment of the present application.
In some embodiments, the present application further provides a display device comprising a display for displaying a user interface comprising a play window, and a first controller; the first controller is configured to: when the playing window plays a first video, sending a first video recommendation request containing a first video identifier and video source identifier information to a server, wherein the first video recommendation request is used for enabling the server to determine recommended media files according to the first video identifier and the video source identifier information, and when the first video identifiers are the same, the recommended media files corresponding to different video source identifier information are different.
For example, when a television plays a first video, if video recommendation needs to be performed, a first controller sends a first video recommendation request to a server, where the first video recommendation request includes a first video identifier and a video source identifier, and the first video identifier may be implemented as, for example, a name or an ID of the first video, or other media asset information that can distinguish and identify the first video; the embodiments of the video source identification information are described above, and are not described herein again.
The first video recommendation request is used for enabling the server to determine a recommended media file which can be provided according to a video played by a current television and a video source; it should be noted that, when the television is in different video sources and plays the same video content, the recommended media files provided by the server are also different.
In some embodiments, the first video recommendation request is used to enable the server to determine to recommend the media file according to the first video identifier and the video source identifier information, and specifically includes: the first video recommendation request is used for enabling the server to determine to recommend the media file according to the first video identification and the historical playing record corresponding to the video source identification information.
For example, when the video source of the tv is DTV and plays a tv series, the first controller sends a first video recommendation request to the server, where the first video recommendation request includes an identifier of the tv series, such as a title of the tv series, or a corresponding ID of the tv series in a server asset library, or other asset information that can identify and distinguish the tv series.
The first video recommendation request further comprises DTV video source identification information, and the DTV video source identification information is used for enabling the server to obtain a historical play record when the video is a DTV video source, and algorithm recommendation is carried out according to the first video and the historical play record corresponding to the video source so as to determine a recommended media file which can be provided for the display device.
In some embodiments, the present application further provides a server comprising a second controller configured to: receiving a first video recommendation request, wherein the first video recommendation request is sent by a display device when a first video is played in the playing window, and the first video request contains a first video identifier and video source identifier information; determining recommended media files according to the first video identification and the video source identification information, wherein when the first video identification is the same, the recommended media files corresponding to different video source identification information are different; and feeding back the recommended media file to the display equipment.
For example, the server receives a first video recommendation request containing a first video identifier and a video source identifier sent by the display device;
then, the second controller can determine the received first video according to the first video identifier, that is, the first video identifier is information for enabling the server to determine that the video played in the playing window of the display device is the first video;
then the second controller determines a recommended media file which can be provided through an algorithm according to the first video identifier and the video source identifier information; it should be noted that, when the user display device uses different video sources, the recommended media files provided by the server are also different.
And after determining the available recommended media files, the server sends the recommended media files to the requesting display equipment.
In some embodiments, the first controller of the display device is configured to: when the current video source is a first video source, receiving description information of a first recommended media file sent by the server, and controlling the playing window to display a first recommended prompt message, wherein the first recommended prompt message is used for controlling the user interface to display an operation page containing the description information of the first recommended media file after the first recommended prompt message receives confirmation operation of a user, and the first recommended media file is a recommended media file fed back by the server according to the first video identifier and the first video source identifier information;
for example, as shown in fig. 6E, the user interface playing window is playing a first video a movie, a video source of the tv at this time is a first video source DTV, the tv receives the first recommended media file description information sent by the server, but the user interface does not directly display the first recommended media file description information, but first displays a first recommendation prompting message to the user; after the user clicks or confirms in other ways, the first controller controls the user interface to display an operation page containing the description information of the first recommended media file.
It should be noted that the first recommended media file is a recommended media file fed back by the server according to the first video identifier, that is, the a movie identifier and the first video source DTV identifier information, that is, the recommended media file sent by the server is finally received under the influence of factors in the aspect 2, including the video source at the playing time and the specifically played content;
it can be understood that when the video content of the playing window changes, for example, a second video is played, the recommended media files sent by the server will be different; when the video source of the television is changed, for example, to a second video source, the recommended media file sent by the server will be different.
Fig. 6F shows a UI diagram of a television broadcast screen according to another embodiment of the present application.
In some embodiments, the first controller of the display device is configured to: when the current video source is a second video source, receiving second recommended media file description information issued by the server, and controlling the playing window to display a second recommended prompt message, wherein the second recommended prompt message is used for controlling the user interface to display an operation page containing the second recommended media file description information after the second recommended prompt message receives confirmation operation of a user, and the second recommended media file is a recommended media file fed back by the server according to the first video identifier and the second video source identifier information;
for example, as shown in fig. 6F, the user interface playing window is playing a first video a movie, a video source of the television at this time is a second video source HDMI, and the television receives second recommended media file description information sent by the server, but the user interface does not directly display the second recommended media file description information, but first displays a second recommendation prompting message to the user; and after the user clicks or confirms in other modes, the first controller controls the user interface to display an operation page containing the description information of the second recommended media file.
It should be noted that the second recommended media file is a recommended media file fed back by the server according to the first video identifier, that is, the movie identifier a and the HDMI identifier information of the first video source;
the second recommended media file and the first recommended media file are generated according to different playing videos and video sources, and it can be understood that when the content of the video played by the television is not changed and the video source is changed, the recommended media files to be issued by the server are also different.
FIG. 6G shows a UI diagram of a video recommendation prompt according to an embodiment of the application.
Taking the first video played by the first video source in fig. 6A as an example, after the display device performs television program recommendation, the first controller displays a first recommendation prompting message in a play window of the display, where the first recommendation prompting message may also be implemented as a first interactive element hereinafter, to prompt the user that a recommended media file has been generated.
The first controller controls the playing window to display a recommendation prompting message, and controls the user interface to display an operation page containing description information of the first recommended media file after the recommendation prompting message receives confirmation operation of a user.
In some embodiments, the first recommended media file is sent to the display device in the form of first recommended media file description information, and the first controller displays a recommendation hint message, i.e., a first interactive element, containing the first recommended media file description information at a predetermined message display position.
In some embodiments, the first interactive element is a non-full screen window, for example, may be implemented as a small window hovering above the first video playback UI interface, displayed in the lower right corner of the television screen interface. The recommendation prompting message, that is, after the first interactive element receives the confirmation operation of the user, it jumps to an operation page including the description information of the first recommended media file, where the operation page may include, for example, the name, the profile, the cover page, and other contents of the first recommended media file.
The recommendation prompting message is configured to be a high-level television application message, is directly displayed at a preset message display position, only blocks a small part of area of the first video playing UI, and is configured to be capable of displaying the recommendation prompting message in any scene, so that the experience of video recommendation of a user is guaranteed.
In some embodiments, the recommendation prompting message may also be implemented as a location coordinate of a preset message prompt box on the television screen interface. The recommendation cue message may, for example, occupy a square area 100 pixels from the bottom right hand corner.
In some embodiments, the recommendation prompting message may include a picture and text, and the text information may prompt the user to perform different operations on the recommendation prompting message, for example, including selecting and confirming operations.
For example, as shown in fig. 6H, if the recommendation prompting message is implemented as "click more highlights", the user may activate the interactive UI of the recommendation prompting message by controlling the position of the display focus to highlight the recommendation prompting message and click confirmation, so as to enter the description interface of the first recommended media file. For another example, as shown in fig. 6I, if the text information of the recommendation prompting message is "the right key is more splendid", the user may activate the interactive UI of the recommendation prompting message by operating the right key of the display device corresponding to the remote controller, and enter the description interface of the first recommended media file.
The recommendation method of the tv program will be described with reference to the above-mentioned tv UI interface for generating tv program recommendations.
Fig. 7 is a flowchart illustrating a television program recommendation method according to an embodiment of the present application.
In step 701, a first video recommendation request including identification information of a current first video source is sent to a server, where the first video recommendation request is used to enable the server to determine a first recommended media file that can be provided according to a first historical play record corresponding to the identification information, where the first historical play record is a historical play record when a signal source is the first video source, and the historical play records corresponding to different signal source identification information are different.
In some embodiments, after the first controller sends the first video recommendation request including the current first video source identification information to the server, the first controller is further configured to: when the current first video source is a preset application, sending a unique identifier of a video to a server every time the playing window plays the video, wherein the unique identifier is used for enabling the server to update a historical playing record corresponding to a preset application signal source; or when the current first video source is an ATV or a DTV, sending a screenshot of the video to a server every time the playing window plays the video, wherein the screenshot is used for enabling the server to identify the video according to the screenshot so as to inquire the video name of the video, and updating a historical playing record corresponding to the ATV or the DTV signal source according to the inquired video name.
For example, when the current first video source is a preset application, media information of the video played by the playing window is sent to a server, and the media information is used for the server to generate a historical playing record corresponding to the preset application; or when the current first video source is an ATV or a DTV, sending the screenshot of the playing video of the playing window to a server, wherein the screenshot is used for the server to inquire the video name of the video so as to generate a historical playing record corresponding to the ATV or the DTV.
When the current first video source is a preset application, the first controller acquires a first name of the first video and sends the first name to the server, so that the server generates a history playing record of the preset application.
Or when the current first video source is an ATV or a DTV, the first controller intercepts the image of the first video played by the display to obtain a first characteristic. The first characteristic is the whole or partial content of the image in the first video playing picture and is used for identifying the name of the first video currently played by the television.
For example, when the video source of the first video is a DTV, the first controller intercepts a station icon of the image as a first feature; when the video source of the first video is ATV or HDMI, the first controller takes the intercepted image as a first feature.
In some embodiments, when the video source of the first video is a DTV, the first controller sends, according to the screenshot, a map identifying request to a server, where the map identifying request includes the screenshot and first video source identification information indicating that the video source of the first video is a DTV video source, where the map identifying request is used to enable the server to correspond to a historical play record corresponding to the first video source identification information, identify a station logo in the screenshot, determine a first name of the first video according to a program list of a station corresponding to the station logo, and then the server updates the historical play record according to the obtained name.
For example, when a first video source played by a television is a DTV video source, a name of the first video may be obtained by querying by obtaining station information of the first video source, so that the first controller may capture a station icon in the first video image as a first feature of the first video, and fig. 8 illustrates a schematic diagram of a part of the station icon in an embodiment of the present application. For example, the first controller may intercept the tv station icon in the upper left corner of the UI interface in fig. 6A as a first feature of the first video "my first half-life", according to which it can be known that the tv station played by the first video "my first half-life" is the central tv drama channel CCTV 8. A first name of the first video is then determined from the published CCTV8 program listings.
In some embodiments, when the video source of the first video is an ATV video source or an HDMI video source, the first controller sends an image recognition request to the server according to the screenshot, where the image recognition request includes the screenshot and an identifier indicating that the program source of the first video is the ATV or HDMI video source, where the image recognition request is used to enable the server to identify corresponding identifiers, identify text and/or images in the screenshot, and query the first name of the first video according to the identified text and/or images to obtain a history playing record.
For example, when a first video source played by a television is an ATV or an HDMI, a first controller captures an image of the first video in the playing process, where the captured image is used as a first feature of the first video, and obtains a first name of the first video by performing image recognition on the first feature. The screenshot as the first feature may include a character image or text information. It is to be understood that the text information may include, for example: video names, or director names, or actor names, or program lines, etc.
The first controller intercepts an image of the UI interface in fig. 6B, and the acquired screenshot will serve as a first feature of the first video "my first half", which includes a word as text information, and a character spammer, mayie 29709. In some embodiments, the screenshot may also include first name text information, the first name being generally located at a right edge position of the screenshot.
After the first feature of the first video is obtained, the first controller analyzes the first feature to obtain a first name of the first video and sends the first name to a server.
In some embodiments, the first controller obtaining the first name of the first video comprises: the first controller captures the image of the first video played by the playing window; and determining a first name of the first video according to the screenshot.
The first controller identifies characters or images in the screenshot; and determining a first name corresponding to the identified characters or images according to the identified characters or images and a preset mapping relation, wherein the preset mapping relation is the mapping of program names and characters/images. For example, the first controller identifies a station logo in the screenshot; and determining a first name of the first video according to the station caption and a program list of a radio station corresponding to the station caption. When the video source of the first video is DTV, the first controller intercepts a station icon in the first video image as a first feature, for example, intercepts a station icon in the top left corner of the UI in fig. 6A. For another example, the first controller may further obtain text information of the tv station icon by performing image recognition on the tv station icon, for example, recognizing that the tv station icon in the tv UI of fig. 6A is a "central tv drama channel", then retrieving and obtaining a program list of the central tv drama channel in the network according to the tv station icon, and/or the text information "central tv drama channel" and the current date and time, and further comparing to obtain the first name of the first video. It can be understood that the program list of the central tv drama channel is obtained through the tv station icon of the central tv drama channel, and then the program list is compared according to the current time and date of the first video playing, so that the program name scheduled to be played at the current time in the program list of the central tv drama channel, that is, the first name of the first video, can be obtained.
In some embodiments, determining the first name of the first video from the screenshot is performed as follows: the first controller sends a picture recognition request to the server according to the screenshot, wherein the picture recognition request comprises the screenshot, and the picture recognition request is used for enabling the server to recognize the screenshot and determine a first name corresponding to the screenshot; and receiving the first name fed back by the server.
For example, when the video source of the first video is an ATV or an HDMI, the first controller performs image recognition, comparison and retrieval on the first feature to obtain the name of the first video.
The first controller analyzes the first characteristic, can acquire basic description information of the first video, and then obtains the name of the first video by comparing and searching in the database based on the obtained basic description information. In some embodiments, through the analysis of the first feature, a main feature and all secondary features of the first video can be obtained; then searching a feature video subset with the main feature from the feature video combination according to the main feature; then searching videos with the same secondary characteristics as the first video from the characteristic video subset, and taking the videos as related videos of the first video; and calculating the content similarity of the related video and the first video, and determining the name of the video with the highest similarity as the name of the first video. Wherein, the main feature is a typical video label, and the other video labels except the main feature are all used as the secondary features. For example, the video type tag in the video tags is taken as a main feature, and the rest of the video tags, such as the actor, director, actor, lines, etc., are taken as secondary features.
The video label can be obtained by performing word segmentation processing on basic description information of a video, wherein the basic description information comprises a video name, a video type, a country, an actor name, a director name, a movie introduction, lines and the like. And performing word segmentation on the basic description information, and generating a video label after the processing result is de-duplicated.
In some embodiments, determining the first name of the first video from the screenshot is performed as follows: the first controller identifies characters or images in the screenshot; and determining a first name corresponding to the identified characters or images according to the identified characters or images and a preset mapping relation, wherein the preset mapping relation is the mapping of program names and characters/images.
For example, the first controller intercepts an image of a UI interface of a first video, and the acquired screenshot is used as a first feature of the first video, where the screenshot includes a speech, a first name, a character image, and the like as text information; the first name of the first video is usually located at a right edge position of the screenshot, and the first controller may determine the first name corresponding to the identified text according to the identified text, for example, the first name at the right edge position of the screenshot of the first video, and according to a preset mapping relationship, where the preset mapping relationship is a mapping of a program name and a text/image.
In some embodiments, the first controller determines whether the display device turns on a television program recommendation function before determining whether the first recommended media file can be provided in the server; if the server is started, determining whether the server can provide recommended media files based on the current video source; if not, the media file recommendation logic is not executed. It can be understood that the display device recommends the video only when the television program recommendation function is turned on and the recommendation strategy is satisfied.
And only when the first controller of the display equipment detects that the television program recommendation function of the display equipment is started and meets the recommendation strategy, the display equipment carries out video recommendation so as to prevent user complaints. It can also be understood that the first controller first needs to detect the on state of the television program recommendation function of the television, and if the television program recommendation function is off, the television does not perform video recommendation even if the television switches video sources.
In some embodiments, when the television program recommendation function is turned on, the first controller further needs to detect whether a recommendation policy is satisfied, and the television will start to perform video recommendation only when the television satisfies the recommendation policy.
In some embodiments, the recommendation policy may be configured remotely by the server; the recommendation strategy comprises at least one or more of the combination of setting recommendation forbidding date, setting recommendation forbidding time interval and setting maximum daily recommendation times.
The server corresponding to the display device comprises a second controller, and the second controller can configure the recommendation strategy through remote operation of the display device.
For example, a recommendation prohibition date is set, and the television prohibits video recommendation every saturday and sunday; for example, a recommendation forbidding period is set, and video recommendation is forbidden in a news simulcast period of 7:00-7:30 minutes at night; for example, a maximum daily recommendation number is set, and after the daily video recommendation number exceeds 5 times, video recommendation is not performed any more, and the like. The recommendation strategy can be one or a combination of multiple strategies. Therefore, when the user recommends too many complaints due to videos, a television manufacturer or a service provider can remotely configure and independently adjust the video recommendation setting of the complaint client, the complaint problem is solved, and the video recommendation strategy of other television users cannot be influenced.
In some embodiments, the recommendation policy may also be configured locally by the first controller. The recommendation strategy comprises at least one or more of the combination of setting recommendation forbidding date, setting recommendation forbidding time interval and setting maximum daily recommendation times.
With reference to fig. 7, in step 702, first recommended media file description information sent by the server is received, and a first recommended prompt message is displayed, where the first recommended prompt message is used to display an operation page including the first recommended media file description information after the first recommended prompt message receives a confirmation operation of the user.
A first controller of the display device displays a recommendation prompting message, that is, a first interactive element, in a display user interface, where a play window is provided, the recommendation prompting message is shown in the lower right corner of the television UI interface in fig. 6G to 6I, and a user can further enter a description interface of the first recommended media file by operating the recommendation prompting message.
