Detailed Description
The invention is described in further detail below with reference to the drawings and examples. It is to be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not limiting thereof. It should be further noted that, for convenience of description, only some, but not all of the structures related to the present invention are shown in the drawings.
Example 1
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of an IP address pool allocation method in a first embodiment of the present invention, where the technical solution of the present embodiment is applicable to a case of unified allocation and management of IP address pools by NRF in a 5G network environment, the method may be executed by an IP address pool allocation device, and specifically includes the following steps:
step 110, receiving a registration request message sent by the target session management function SMF device or the target user plane function UPF device, and detecting whether the registration request message carries a user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell.
The SMF is a core network control plane entity and is mainly responsible for maintaining PDU Session (Packet Data Unit Session ), distributing user IP address, and having service quality control and charging functions; and the user receives the downlink data packet to buffer in an idle state and informs the AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function ) of paging the user and the like. The UPF is a core network user plane functional entity responsible for forwarding user data messages and also counting the user data messages for charging and other functions; the cell refers to a bit string of a fixed length composed of a header string and an information string, and the user terminal IP address pool allocation cell referred to in this embodiment refers to a cell containing user terminal IP address request information.
In this embodiment, when receiving a registration request message sent by a target SMF device or a target UPF device, the NRF first detects whether the registration request message carries a user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell, where the user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell is used to provide an allocation request of a user terminal IP address pool to the NRF, and for example, the user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell may include the requested IP address number or IP address range, etc. In addition, the capacity of the user terminal IP address pool can be expanded in the NRF use process.
Step 120, when the registration request message carries the request cell for allocating the user terminal IP address pool, determining the target IP address pool according to the request cell for allocating the user terminal IP address pool.
In this embodiment, when detecting that the registration request message carries a request cell for allocating an IP address pool of the user terminal, the NRF may parse the request cell for allocating the IP address pool of the user terminal, so as to determine a target IP address pool to be allocated according to the request cell for allocating the IP address pool of the user terminal. Wherein the target IP address pool is a set of target IP addresses to be allocated.
For example, when it is detected that the registration request message carries a request cell for allocating an IP address pool of a user terminal, and after resolving the request cell, it is obtained that the request cell for allocating an IP address pool of a user terminal includes 10 IP addresses, the NRF may obtain 10 IP addresses of the user terminal from IP addresses in an idle state, and determine a set of the 10 IP addresses of the user terminal as a target IP address pool.
And 130, sending a registration response message to the target SMF device or the target UPF device, wherein the registration response message carries the information of the target IP address pool.
In this embodiment, after determining the target IP address pool, the NRF sends a registration response message to the target SMF device or the target UPF device, where the registration response message carries the target IP address pool information allocated to the target SMF device or the target UPF device.
For example, the identification information of the target IP address pool formed by the IP addresses of the 10 user terminals is added to the registration response message, so that the target IP address pool is allocated to the target SMF device or the target UPF device, and the subsequent target SMF device or UPF device can perform route update according to the target IP address pool information.
According to the technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention, the NRF terminal firstly receives the registration request message sent by the target SMF device or the target UPF device, detects whether the registration request message carries the user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell, when the registration request message carries the user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell, the target IP address pool is determined according to the user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell, and finally sends the registration response message to the target SMF device or the target UPF device, wherein the registration response message carries the information of the target IP address pool, so that the mode of using static allocation IP address pool allocation in the prior art is improved, the problems that the IP address pool allocation is inflexible and the IP address use efficiency is low are solved, the NRF is adopted to uniformly allocate and manage the user terminal IP address pool, the flexibility of IP address allocation is improved, and the use efficiency of IP addresses is improved.
Example two
Fig. 2a is a flowchart of an IP address pool allocation method according to a second embodiment of the present invention, which is further refined on the basis of the foregoing embodiment, and provides specific steps for determining a target IP address pool according to the IP address pool allocation request cell of the user terminal, and specific steps after sending a registration response message to the target SMF device or the target UPF device. The following describes an IP address pool allocation method according to a second embodiment of the present invention with reference to fig. 2a, including the following steps:
step 210, receiving a registration request message sent by the target SMF device or the target UPF device, and detecting whether the registration request message carries a user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell.
Step 220, when the registration request message carries the request cell for allocating the user terminal IP address pool, determining the target IP address pool according to the request cell for allocating the user terminal IP address pool.
Optionally, the user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell includes the number of IP addresses and/or the IP address range;
determining a target IP address pool according to the IP address pool allocation request cell of the user terminal, wherein the target IP address pool comprises at least one of the following steps:
acquiring a set of IP addresses matched with the target IP address number from the idle IP addresses according to the target IP address number contained in the IP address pool allocation request cell of the user terminal as a target IP address pool;
According to the target IP address range contained in the user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell, when the IP addresses contained in the target IP address range are in idle states, acquiring a target IP address pool containing all IP addresses in the target IP address range; and
and acquiring a set of idle state IP addresses matched with the target IP address number from the target IP address range as a target IP address pool according to the target IP address number and the target IP address range contained in the IP address pool allocation request cell of the user terminal.
In this optional embodiment, it is further defined that the IP address pool allocation request cell of the user terminal includes the number of IP addresses and/or the IP address range, and accordingly, according to the IP address pool allocation request cell of the user terminal, the determining the target IP address pool may have three manners as follows:
1. when the user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell only comprises the target IP address quantity, the NRF acquires an IP address set matched with the target IP address quantity from the IP addresses in the idle state as a target IP address pool. For example, if the number of target IP addresses is 5, 5 target IP addresses are obtained from the IP addresses in the idle state, and the 5 target IP address sets are used as the target IP address pool. Wherein the states of the IP address include a use state and an idle state, and the IP address in the idle state may be allocated.
2. When the IP address range of the user terminal only comprises the target IP address range in the IP address pool allocation request cell, when the IP addresses in the target IP address range are in idle states, all the IP addresses in the target IP address range are acquired, and the set of the IP addresses is used as the target IP address pool.
3. When the user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell includes the target IP address number and the target IP address range, the IP address set in the idle state in the target IP address range may be determined first, the target IP address number of IP addresses may be obtained from the IP address set, and the obtained IP addresses form the target IP address pool.
And 230, modifying the state of at least one target IP address contained in the target IP address pool into a use state, and carrying out association record on the target IP address pool and the target SMF equipment or the target UPF equipment.
In this embodiment, after the destination IP address pool is determined, the states of all the destination IP addresses included in the destination IP address pool are modified to be usage states, so as to avoid allocating the same IP address to different SMF devices or UPF devices, and avoid error allocation. And at the same time, the target IP address pool is associated with the target SMF device or the target UPF device so as to facilitate the subsequent inquiry of the SMF device or the UPF device using the set IP address.
Step 240, a registration response message is sent to the target SMF device or the target UPF device, where the registration response message carries information of the target IP address pool.
In the embodiment of the present invention, a specific IP address pool allocation flow is shown in fig. 2b, and after determining a target IP address pool, a registration response message is sent to a target SMF device or a target UPF device, where the registration response message carries information of the target IP address pool.
Step 250, receiving a deregistration request message sent by the target SMF device or the target UPF device, and detecting whether the deregistration request message carries a user terminal IP address pool release cell.
In this embodiment, after the destination IP address pool is allocated to the destination SMF device or the UPF device, the SMF device or the UPF device receives a request from each user terminal, and allocates an IP address in the destination IP address pool to each user terminal. When the user terminal no longer uses the allocated IP address, the SMF device or the UPF device may send a deregistration request message to the NRF, and carry the user terminal IP address pool release cell in the deregistration request message. For the NRF end, as shown in fig. 2c, a specific target IP address pool release flow is shown, first, a deregistration request message sent by a target SMF device or a target UPF device is received, and further, whether the deregistration request message carries a user terminal IP address pool release cell is detected, so as to determine whether to release the IP address pool. Wherein the user terminal IP address pool release cell is configured to provide the NRF with a target IP address pool to be released. Illustratively, the user terminal IP address pool release cell includes at least one destination IP address identifier to be released.
Step 260, when the de-registration request message carries the user terminal IP address pool release cell, removing the allocation relationship of the target IP address pool included in the user terminal IP address pool release cell according to the user terminal IP address pool release cell.
In this embodiment, when detecting that the deregistration request message carries a user terminal IP address pool release cell, the NRF removes an allocation relationship of a target IP address pool included in the user terminal IP address pool release cell according to the user terminal IP address pool release cell. For example, the correspondence between the target IP address pool and the target SMF or the target UPF may be deleted.
Optionally, removing the allocation relation of the target IP address pool included in the user terminal IP address pool release cell includes:
and modifying the state of the target IP address in the target IP address pool contained in the user terminal IP address pool release cell into an idle state, and deleting the association relation between the target IP address pool and the target SMF equipment or the target UPF equipment.
In this optional embodiment, a specific manner is provided for removing the allocation relationship of the target IP address pool included in the user terminal IP address pool release cell, first, the state of the target IP address in the target IP address pool included in the user terminal IP address pool release cell is modified to be in an idle state, then, the association relationship between the target IP address pool and the target SMF device or the target UPF device is deleted, and after the association relationship is deleted, it is indicated that the target IP address pool is no longer occupied by the target SMF device or the target UPF device.
Step 270, send a deregistration response message to the target SMF device or the target UPF device, where the deregistration response message includes the target IP address pool release identification information.
In this embodiment, after the allocation relation of the target IP address pool included in the user terminal IP address pool release cell is removed, a deregistration response message is sent to the target SMF device or the target UPF device, and the deregistration response message carries the target IP address pool release identification information, so as to convey the information that the target IP address pool has been released to the target SMF device or the target UPF device.
According to the technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention, the NRF firstly receives a registration request message sent by target SMF equipment or target UPF equipment, detects whether the registration request message carries a user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell, and when the registration request message carries the user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell, determines a target IP address pool according to the user terminal IP address pool allocation request cell, and finally sends a registration response message to the target SMF equipment or target UPF equipment, wherein the registration response message carries information of the target IP address pool; when the IP address pool of the user terminal is not used any more, the NRF receives a deregistration request message sent by the target SMF device or the target UPF device, detects whether the deregistration request message carries a user terminal IP address pool release cell, removes the allocation relation of the target IP address pool contained in the user terminal IP address pool release cell according to the user terminal IP address pool release cell when the deregistration request message carries the user terminal IP address pool release cell, and sends a deregistration response message to the target SMF device or the target UPF device, so that unified allocation management of the user terminal IP address pool through the NRF is realized, the flexibility of IP address allocation is improved, and the use efficiency of the IP address is improved.
Example III
