Description

Network slice selection method and device, slice mapping system and network equipment
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for selecting a network slice, a slice mapping system, and a network device.
Background
Slice identification is the most important parameter in the Network slice technology, and usually, S-NSSAI (Single Network Selection Assistance Information) is adopted to uniquely identify a Network slice, and NSSAI identifies a group of Network slices. S-NSSAI is a 32-bit integer comprising SST and SD, where SST (Slice/Service type) represents Slice/Service type, with 8 bits total; sd (slice identifier) may supplement slice/service type as an optional field, with 24 bits total, to distinguish network slices of multiple subdivided scenes under the same SST. The protocol stipulates that 0-127 in the SST field is a standardized value range, 128-255 and SD fields in the SST field belong to an operator self-defined range, and the operator self-defined value is only effective in the local network.
In the cross-operator roaming scenario, for non-standardized S-NSSAI, operators of both parties need to negotiate one by one to form a mapping agreement, and the mapping agreement is updated to the NSSF of the visited public land mobile network in real time. With the diversification of 5G network slicing service scenes, the negotiation and network maintenance workload of operators of both parties is increased in a mode of one-to-one slice mapping one by one, the slice selection of a user in a roaming scene is influenced finally, and the user experience is reduced.

Detailed Description
In order to make those skilled in the art better understand the technical solution of the present invention, the following describes a method and an apparatus for selecting a network slice, a slice mapping system, and a network device in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments.
Example 1:
as shown in fig. 1, the present embodiment provides a method for selecting a network slice, which is applied to a slice mapping system, where the slice mapping system is connected to each operator system, and the method includes the following steps:
step 101, receiving first slice information sent by a home public land mobile network to which a roaming user belongs, wherein the first slice information includes a slice identifier, a service type and network resources required by a slice example of a roaming slice signed by the roaming user.
In this embodiment, the slice mapping system is connected to systems of an operator a, an operator B, and an operator C, and if a user of the operator a roams to an operator B network, a home public land mobile network (i.e., an operator a network) to which the roaming user belongs sends first slice information to the slice mapping system. Specifically, the operator a network sends the slice identifier of the roamable slice signed by the roaming user, the service type, and the network resource required by the slice instance to the slice mapping system. The number of the slice identifiers in the first slice information is multiple, and each slice identifier corresponds to the service type of the slice identifier and the network resource required by the slice instance of the slice identifier. The network resources include at least transmission resources, computing resources, storage resources, and latency requirements. For example, in the first slice information shown in table 1, the service type of the slice identifier of the operator a network is S-NSSAI _1 is eMBB, and the network resources required for the slice instance of the slice identifier include 100Mbps transmission resources, 0.2T pops computation resources, 300MB storage resources, 10ms delay requirement, and the like. The operator A network sends a plurality of roaming slice identifications signed by the user, corresponding service types and network resources required by slice examples to a slice mapping system.

Step 102, receiving second slice information sent by a visited public land mobile network where a roaming user is currently located, wherein the second slice information includes all slice identifications allowing roaming access to slices, service types and network resources required by slice examples.
In this embodiment, the visited public land mobile network (i.e., operator B network) where the roaming user is currently located sends the second slice information to the slice mapping system, where the second slice information includes all slice identifiers, service types, and network resources required by slice instances that allow the roaming access to the slices in the operator B network. The number of the slice identifiers in the second slice information is multiple, and each slice identifier corresponds to the service type and the network resource required by the slice instance. The network resources include at least transmission resources, computing resources, storage resources, and latency requirements. For example, in the second slice information shown in table 2, the service type of the slice identifier of the operator B network, which is S-NSSAI _1, is eMBB, and the network resources required for the slice instance of the slice identifier include 120Mbps transmission resources, 0.2TFLOPS computation resources, 250MB storage resources, and 12ms delay requirement. And the operator B network sends a plurality of slice identifications of all self allowed roaming access slices, corresponding service types and network resources required by slice instances to a slice mapping system.
TABLE 2 second slice information
Figure BDA0002765114600000062
And 103, comparing the service types and the network resources of the first slice information and the second slice information, respectively obtaining two slice identifiers with the same service type and the highest network resource matching degree from the first slice information and the second slice information, and constructing the two slice identifiers as mapping slices.
In this embodiment, the slice mapping system compares the service type and the network resource corresponding to each slice identifier in the first slice information with the service type and the network resource corresponding to each slice identifier in the second slice information. Specifically, the service type eMBB of S-NSSAI _1 in the first slice information, the network resources required by the slice example comprise transmission resources 100Mbps, calculation resources 0.2TFLOPS, storage resources 300MB, and delay requirement 10ms, which are respectively compared with the service types and the network resources of S-NSSAI _1 and S-NSSAI _2 in the second slice information, and then the service type and the network resources of S-NSSAI _2 in the first slice information are compared with the service types and the network resources of S-NSSAI _1 and S-NSSAI _2 in the second slice information until the comparison of all slice identifiers is completed. Considering that under the condition that the service types are the same, the closer the network resources required by the slice instances are, the closer the slice services that can be obtained are, and therefore, two slice identifiers that are the same in service type and have the highest network resource matching degree are obtained from the first slice information and the second slice information respectively, and the two slice identifiers are constructed as a mapping slice pair. For example, after comparison, if the service types of the acquired S-NSSAI _1 of the operator a network and the acquired S-NSSAI _1 of the operator B network are the same, and the matching degree of network resources is the highest, the two slices constitute a mapping slice. The method is equivalent to the situation that the user accesses the S-NSSAI _1 of the operator B network when the user is in the operator A network, and the slice service quality equivalent to the S-NSSAI _1 of the operator A network when the user is in the operator B network can be obtained, so that the mapping relation of slice identifiers among different operators can be quickly constructed by using the method of the embodiment aiming at the condition that the non-standardized S-NSSAIs are not unified, the user can conveniently select slices in a roaming scene, and the user experience is improved.
Step 104, the mapping slice is sent to the visited public land mobile network to select a network slice for the roaming user.
In this embodiment, the slice mapping system sends the mapping slices (S-NSSAI _1 of the operator a network and S-NSSAI _1 of the operator B network) to the core network NSSF network element of the operator B network, so that the core network NSSF network element of the operator B network selects an optimal network slice for the roaming user according to the mapping slices (i.e., selects S-NSSAI _1 of the operator B network as a slice to which the roaming user accesses), thereby providing an optimal slice service for the roaming user. It should be noted that, when the mapping slice obtained by the slice mapping system includes multiple sets of mapping slice pairs, for example, there is a mapping slice for each service type, the slice mapping system sends the obtained multiple sets of mapping slice pairs to the core network NSSF network element of the visited public land mobile network, and when the visited public land mobile network performs slice selection, the corresponding slice selection is performed according to the actual service requirement of the user.
Furthermore, the home public land mobile network and the visited public land mobile network belong to different operators.
According to the method for selecting the network slice, two slice identifiers which have the same service type and the highest network resource matching degree in the two slice information are matched according to the first slice information sent by the home public land mobile network of the roaming user and the second slice information sent by the visited public land mobile network, and the two slice identifiers are constructed into the mapping slice, so that the corresponding slice access is quickly selected for the user in the cross-operator roaming scene according to the mapping slice, and the user experience is improved. And the slice mapping system automatically constructs mapping slices according to the actual roaming condition of the user, so that operators of both parties do not need to negotiate aiming at non-standardized S-NSSAI to reach a mapping agreement, and the mapping agreement is updated to NSSF of the visiting public land mobile network in real time, thereby reducing the negotiation and network maintenance workload of the operators of both parties. Because the mapping slice constructed by the slice mapping system is obtained based on the same service type and the principle of the highest network resource matching degree, the mapping slice is the optimal matching slice between different operators.
Example 2:
the embodiment provides a method for selecting a network slice, which is applied to a visited public land mobile network and comprises the following steps:
step 201, a registration request sent by a roaming user is received.
In this embodiment, the slice mapping system is connected to the systems of the operator a, the operator B, and the operator C, and when a user of the operator a network roams to the operator B network, the roaming user initiates a registration request to the operator B network. The registration request includes a Subscriber Identity, for example, an IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity). In this embodiment, the operator a network is a home public land mobile network to which the roaming user belongs, and the operator B network is a visited public land mobile network to which the roaming user currently belongs.
Step 202, according to the registration request, sending a request for obtaining a roamable slice signed by the roamer to a home public land mobile network to which the roamer belongs, so that the home public land mobile network sends first slice information to a slice mapping system, wherein the first slice information includes a slice identifier, a service type, and network resources required by a slice instance of the roamable slice signed by the roamer.
In this embodiment, the operator B network sends a request for acquiring a roamable slice signed by a roaming user to the operator a network according to a registration request sent by the roaming user, where the operator B network sends the request to verify the validity of user roaming and is further used to trigger the operator a network to send first slice information to the slice mapping system.
Step 103, sending second slice information to the slice mapping system, where the second slice information includes all slice identifiers allowing roaming access to slices, service types, and network resources required by slice instances.
In this embodiment, after the user roaming validity verification passes, the operator B network sends the second slice information to the slice mapping system.
And 104, receiving the mapping slices sent by the slice mapping system, and selecting the slices corresponding to the slice identifiers in the second slice information in the mapping slices as the slices accessed by the roaming users.
In this embodiment, the operator B network receives the mapping slices sent by the slice mapping system (for example, the mapping slices are S-NSSAI _1 of the operator a network and S-NSSAI _1 of the operator B network), and selects a slice corresponding to the slice identifier (i.e., S-NSSAI _1 of the operator B network) belonging to the second slice information in the mapping slices as a slice accessed by the roaming user. Because the service type of the S-NSSAI _1 of the operator B network is the same as that of the S-NSSAI _1 of the operator A network, and the matching degree of network resources required by the slicing example is highest, the roaming user accesses the S-NSSAI _1 of the operator B network, can obtain slicing service equivalent to the S-NSSAI _1 of the operator A network when the roaming user is in the operator A network, and therefore the experience of the user when the roaming user is across operators is not influenced.

Step 302, the home public land mobile network sends first slice information to a slice mapping system, where the first slice information includes a slice identifier, a service type, and a network resource required by a slice instance of a roamable slice signed by a roaming user.
