Abstract
The invention relates to a set-top box software upgrading technology, discloses a method for upgrading intelligent network set-top box software, and solves the problems of low upgrading efficiency and high requirement on server network bandwidth in the traditional upgrading mode. The invention firstly divides the large upgrade file into a plurality of small file blocks, and then generates a description file for summarizing the upgrade information according to the file block information. And deploying the divided upgrading file and the description file to the corresponding servers. And secondly, the terminal equipment acquires other resource equipment lists which are used for downloading the file at the same time through interaction with the server, completes data downloading through direct point-to-point connection with the equipment, and reconstructs a final upgrade file according to the description file information to complete an upgrade task.

Background
At present, in the era of great development of digital economy such as 5G, artificial intelligence, Internet of things and the like, more and more intelligent networking devices are distributed around people. How to fully develop the capability of the intelligent devices and develop new application scenes is one direction of technical innovation.
In recent years, broadband networks are rapidly developed, so that a network television gradually replaces a traditional cable television, an intelligent high-definition set top box replaces a traditional cable television set top box, and an operating system of a television receiving device is also changed into an intelligent android system from a traditional OS (operating system) embedded type. B. the upgrade control server judges whether the corresponding terminal equipment needs to be upgraded or not according to the equipment related information and feeds the upgrade back to the terminal equipment, if the terminal equipment needs to be upgraded, the subsequent steps are carried out, and if the terminal equipment does not need to be upgraded, the process is ended;
C. the terminal equipment downloads the upgrade description file from the upgrade control server;
D. the terminal equipment communicates with a specified download server according to the information in the upgrade description file to apply for downloading;
E. after receiving the downloading application, the downloading server records the information of the public network ip and the port number of the terminal equipment and inserts the public network ip and the port number into a downloading resource list;
F. the download server returns a download resource list capable of providing the upgrade resource to the terminal equipment;
G. after receiving the download resource list, the terminal equipment respectively carries out point-to-point communication with other terminal equipment in the download resource list in a multithreading mode to obtain a file block for downloading the upgrade file;
H. after the terminal equipment collects all the file blocks of the upgrade file, the file blocks are recombined to generate the upgrade file, and after the verification is passed, the upgrade downloading task is completed.
As a further optimization, the device-related information includes: device model, software version, hardware version, and device ID.
As a further optimization, the upgrade description file includes: the file system comprises the address of one or more download servers, the product device model, the software version, the hardware version, the file ID, the file size, the file MD5 value, the file block size, the number of blocks and a file block information list, wherein each file block information recorded in the file block information list comprises a file block number, an original file ID, the file block size and a file block MD5 value.
As a further optimization, step E further includes: the downloading server periodically updates the downloading resource list, eliminates the off-line terminal equipment and adds new downloading resources.
In step F, the download server first determines whether there are other terminal devices currently downloading the upgrade file and the number of the devices is sufficient, if yes, returns a download resource list capable of providing the upgrade resource to the terminal device that provided the download application, otherwise, directly returns a download link to the terminal device that provided the download application.

The invention has the beneficial effects that:
the upgrading downloading work which is currently centralized through the cloud platform is dispersed to other set top boxes or intelligent devices in the network, and the devices can provide data upgrading services for other devices while executing downloading tasks. Therefore, the number of devices providing upgrading service is increased, and the upgrading efficiency is improved; therefore, the upgrading task can be well completed without high server bandwidth and CDN support, and the network cost is greatly saved.

Detailed Description
Because the existing set-top box and intelligent television equipment have higher processing capability, the capability of a main CPU is basically more than 4 cores 1.5 GHz-2 GHz; each device is equivalent to a small computer and is completely capable of processing services except watching television; the capabilities of the devices can be fully mined, network downloading, computing service and video service can be provided for other devices in a point-to-point mode, and the decentralized effect is achieved. Based on the thought, the invention changes the traditional upgrading mode of requesting the central server in a centralized way into the mode of requesting the server and simultaneously requesting the peripheral equipment, and completes the corresponding downloading task by the capacity of the peripheral equipment.
The implementation scheme mainly comprises the following steps: firstly, a large upgrade file is divided into a plurality of small file blocks, and then a description file for summarizing upgrade information is generated according to file block information. And deploying the divided upgrading file and the description file to the corresponding servers. And secondly, the terminal equipment acquires other resource equipment lists which are used for downloading the file at the same time through interaction with the server, completes data downloading through direct point-to-point connection with the equipment, and reconstructs a final upgrade file according to the description file information to complete an upgrade task.

1. when the device is started, the device firstly reports the device model, the software version number, the hardware version number and the product serial number to an upgrade control server;
2. the control server judges whether the terminal equipment needs to be upgraded according to the equipment model and the software and hardware version number, and feeds back the terminal equipment to the equipment;
3. after the terminal equipment obtains an upgrading requirement, an upgrading description file updatedesc.txt is downloaded to the control server, wherein the upgrading description file comprises address information of the download server, version information of the upgrading file, blocking information of the file, verification information of the file and the like;
4. the terminal equipment communicates with the download server through the download server address specified in the upgrade description file;
5. after receiving the downloading application, the downloading server records the information of the public ip, the port number and the like of the machine and inserts the information into a downloading resource list;
6. if other terminal equipment downloads the file at the moment and the quantity of the equipment is enough, the downloading server returns resource list information; if the equipment capable of providing the download resources is not enough, directly returning the download link to the equipment;
7. if the terminal equipment does not take the resource list, the terminal equipment directly uses the file link returned by the download server to download;
8. if the terminal equipment takes the resource list, point-to-point communication is respectively carried out with other equipment in the resource list in a multithreading mode, and if the communication is available, downloading is carried out;
9. the terminal device needs to periodically determine the downloading status of each current resource and decide whether to update the resource list from the server, for example: if the downloading speed of a certain resource is too slow, or the equipment providing the resource is off-line, a new resource list needs to be acquired;
10. the downloading server also needs to periodically update the resource list, eliminates the devices which are not on line and adds new downloading resources;
11. and the terminal equipment collects all the data blocks, generates a final data file according to the serial number in a recombination manner, completes the upgrading and downloading task after the file is verified, and exits.

preparing an upgrade file: dividing an upgrade file into a plurality of smaller file blocks, generating an upgrade description file for describing division information and summarizing upgrade information, and deploying the divided file blocks and the upgrade description file to a download server;
the upgrading process of the terminal equipment comprises the following steps:
A. when the terminal equipment is started, reporting equipment related information to an upgrade control server;
B. the upgrade control server judges whether the corresponding terminal equipment needs to be upgraded or not according to the equipment related information and feeds the upgrade back to the terminal equipment, if the terminal equipment needs to be upgraded, the subsequent steps are carried out, and if the terminal equipment does not need to be upgraded, the process is ended;
C. the terminal equipment downloads the upgrade description file from the upgrade control server;
D. the terminal equipment communicates with a specified download server according to the information in the upgrade description file to apply for downloading;
E. after receiving the downloading application, the downloading server records the information of the public network ip and the port number of the terminal equipment and inserts the public network ip and the port number into a downloading resource list;
F. the download server returns a download resource list capable of providing the upgrade resource to the terminal equipment;
G. after receiving the download resource list, the terminal equipment respectively carries out point-to-point communication with other terminal equipment in the download resource list in a multithreading mode to obtain a file block for downloading the upgrade file;
H. after the terminal equipment collects all the file blocks of the upgrade file, the file blocks are recombined to generate the upgrade file, and after the verification is passed, the upgrade downloading task is completed.
