Background
In the video publishing process, the main content of the video can be better expressed by selecting a proper cover picture, so that a user usually selects a frame of most representative image from the video images of each frame of the video as the cover of the video.
In the related art, thumbnails of a plurality of frames of video images of a video are displayed in a time axis manner, and a video thumbnail of the video is formed. And the user selects the thumbnail in the video thumbnails by sliding, so that the selected thumbnail is previewed to select one frame of thumbnail and the corresponding video image is taken as the cover of the video.
However, since the width of the time axis is limited, the thumbnail of the video image that can be included in the video thumbnail is relatively limited. Thus, a video thumbnail can only be formed in such a way that one frame of a video image in a video is selected at intervals of a certain length of time. It can be seen that: the video thumbnail thus formed includes only thumbnails of some video images of the video, that is, the video image provided to the user for selection as a cover page is only a fixed part of the video image in the video, so that the user cannot select the most representative video image as a cover page of the video.

Detailed Description
In order to make the technical solutions of the present disclosure better understood by those of ordinary skill in the art, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
It should be noted that the terms "first," "second," and the like in the description and claims of the present disclosure and in the above-described drawings are used for distinguishing between similar elements and not necessarily for describing a particular sequential or chronological order. It is to be understood that the data so used is interchangeable under appropriate circumstances such that the embodiments of the disclosure described herein are capable of operation in sequences other than those illustrated or otherwise described herein. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
Fig. 1 is a flow chart illustrating a method of presenting video images according to an exemplary embodiment. As shown in fig. 1, the method for displaying a video image specifically includes the following steps:
in step S101, a video thumbnail of the target video is displayed, the video thumbnail including a thumbnail of a multi-frame video image of the target video.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, the video thumbnails of the target video may be sequentially displayed in the user interface in a time axis manner, and when a user performs a selection operation to select one frame of video thumbnail, the video image corresponding to the video thumbnail is displayed, and an original image or an enlarged image of the user preview video image is provided, so that the user can see the video image clearly, and thus, whether to set the image as a cover of the target video is determined. For example, in fig. 2, thumbnails of four video images in which the picture screen is A, B, C, D, E are sequentially ordered are displayed on the time axis below the user interface, and the user moves the progress bar to select the thumbnail of the video image in which the picture screen is "C", but of course, the user may select the thumbnail by directly clicking or the like. At this time, an original image or an enlarged image of the video image corresponding to the thumbnail is displayed on the user interface for the user to preview, and the time corresponding to the thumbnail on the time axis can also be displayed: "00:04". If the user is satisfied with the previewed video image, the user may further operate to set it as the cover page of the target video.
Since the width of the time axis is limited and the number of thumbnails that can be simultaneously displayed is limited, the thumbnails of video images that can be included in the video thumbnails are limited. In order to enable the video thumbnails displaying the target videos to include thumbnails of video images of all video clips and avoid the video images corresponding to the displayed thumbnails from being concentrated in the same time period, and enable the pictures of the video images to be too similar, the video thumbnails can be formed in a manner that one frame of video image in the target videos is selected at intervals of a certain time length, or a frame of video image is selected at intervals of a preset number of frames and the thumbnails of the video images are displayed in the video thumbnails on a time axis. The time length of the interval is determined by the number of video images which can be included in the video thumbnail and the total duration of the target video. Of course, other methods may be used to extract a certain number of video images from the target video to form the video thumbnail, such as random extraction, but the number of extracted video images should not be greater than the number of thumbnails that the video thumbnail can contain.
In step S102, when a target instruction trigger on a video thumbnail is monitored, a target video thumbnail triggered by the target instruction is determined.
It should be noted that the target instruction refers to a specific one of the instructions for triggering the execution of the subsequent step of updating the video thumbnail. Optionally, the manner of triggering the target instruction may adopt one or more of manners of triggering an instruction, such as long-time pressing of a selected screen, double-click of the screen, or clicking of a specific virtual key.
The target video thumbnail triggered by the target instruction refers to the thumbnail aimed by the response target instruction, and in the embodiment, refers to the thumbnail selected when the target instruction is triggered, and determines the thumbnail as the target video thumbnail. Of course, the target instruction may also be triggered for a certain thumbnail, for example, if the target instruction is triggered by long pressing a certain thumbnail displayed on the user interface, the thumbnail is the thumbnail triggered by the target instruction.
In step S103, the video image corresponding to the target video thumbnail in the target video is determined as the target video image.
In step S104, the video thumbnail is updated with the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the target video image.
Due to the fact that the thumbnails contained in the video thumbnails of the target videos are limited, the displayed thumbnails are only thumbnails of partial video images in the target videos, the original displayed video thumbnails are updated by the aid of the thumbnails of the video images adjacent to the target video images, and therefore users can select thumbnails of other video images.
Optionally, the video images adjacent to the target video image may specifically include: the video image of the preset frame in the target video and before the target video image, and/or the video image of the preset frame in the target video and after the target video image.
Also, since thumbnails included in the video thumbnail of the target video are limited, and the displayed thumbnails are only thumbnails of a part of video images in the target video, for a thumbnail of one frame of video image in the video thumbnail, thumbnails of a part of video images before and after the frame of video image in the target video are not in the video thumbnail, and thumbnails of video images adjacent to the target video image are not provided for user selection. When the user previews the target video image, and feels that the target video image is relatively close to the expectation of the user, the user usually wants to preview the video image close to the target video image, so as to find the video image which best meets the expectation of the user, and therefore in the embodiment, the user can update the video thumbnail by using the thumbnail of the video image close to the target video image by triggering the target instruction. Wherein the video images adjacent to the target video image comprise: the video images of the preset frames in the target video before the target video image and/or the video images of the preset frames in the target video after the target video image, that is, the video images before and after the target video image in the target video, can be regarded as the video images adjacent to the target video image.
It should be noted that, since the number of frames of video images located before and after the target video image in the target video may be relatively large, and the number of frames that can be included in the video thumbnail is limited, the number of frames of video images adjacent to the target video image is preset. Alternatively, the plurality of frames of video images adjacent to the target video image may be continuous frames of video images in the target video image, or may be discontinuous frames of video images. Usually, the plurality of frames of video images adjacent to the target video image are continuous with the target video image in the target video.
It should be further noted that the video image adjacent to the target video image generally refers to a video image of a thumbnail thereof that is not included in the video thumbnail, that is, the thumbnail of the portion of the video image is not currently displayed, so that by triggering the target instruction, the thumbnail of the video image that is not previously displayed and is located before the target image in the target video is displayed, and/or the thumbnail of the video image that is not previously displayed and is located after the target image in the target video is displayed for the user to preview and select, that is, for the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the updated target video image, the user can select and preview. And when the target video images are different, the thumbnails of the video images adjacent to the displayed target video images are different, so that a user can trigger a target instruction by using the thumbnails of the different video images, and the thumbnails of the video images which are not displayed previously are obtained for selection.
Because the number of thumbnails of video images that can be included in the video thumbnail of the target video is fixed, when the target instruction is triggered to display the thumbnails of the video images adjacent to the target video image, the thumbnails of the original video images in the video thumbnail need to be updated by using the thumbnails of the video images adjacent to the target video image, that is, the thumbnails of the video images adjacent to the target video image replace the thumbnails of a part of the video images in the video thumbnail.
For example, as shown in the left diagram in fig. 3, before the target command is not triggered, the video thumbnails of the target video include A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, which are thumbnails of 10 frames of video images, and it should be noted that the display order of the thumbnails of the 10 frames of video images may be the order of the corresponding video images in the target video, but may also be displayed in any other order. As shown in the right diagram in fig. 3, when the thumbnail E of the video image is triggered by the target instruction, the video thumbnails are updated to C, D, D1, D2, E, E1, E2, F, G, H. Wherein D1, D2, E1 and E2 are thumbnails of video images adjacent to the thumbnail E corresponding to the video image, and A, B, I, J is a replaced thumbnail and is not displayed on the user interface. After the thumbnail update, the user also selects the thumbnail E1 to preview. It should be noted that the display position of the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the target video image in this example is only one example, and is not limited in this way, and it is within the scope of the present application that the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the target video image is displayed at another display position for selection by the user, and similarly, the replacement thumbnail A, B, I, J is also only one example, and other thumbnails may also be replaced, but the number of the replaced thumbnails need to be not less than the number of the thumbnails of the video image adjacent to the target video image.
According to the method for displaying the video images, the video thumbnails of the multi-frame video images including the target video are displayed, when the target instruction triggering on the video thumbnails is detected, the target video thumbnails triggered by the target instruction are determined, the video images corresponding to the target video thumbnails in the target video are determined to be the target video images, and then the video thumbnails are updated by the thumbnails of the video images close to the target video images. Therefore, the user can trigger the target instruction by the video thumbnail of the target video to update the current video thumbnail, so that more thumbnails of the video images are provided for the user to select, and the thumbnails of a fixed part of the video images in the video are not needed any more, so that the user can select the most representative video image as the cover page of the video.
Fig. 4 is a flow chart illustrating another method of presenting video images in accordance with an exemplary embodiment. As shown in fig. 4, the method for displaying a video image specifically includes the following steps:
in step S401, a video thumbnail of the target video is displayed, the video thumbnail including a thumbnail of a multi-frame video image of the target video.
Optionally, in this example, the thumbnails of the video images are displayed in the order of the video images in the target video, that is, the earlier the corresponding time point of the video image in the target video is, the earlier the display position in the video thumbnail in the thumbnail of the video image is, so that a user can conveniently find the video image as a front cover picture according to the order of the video images in the target, and the display position of the video thumbnail is also more regular.
It should be further noted that, in a more specific implementation manner of step S401, reference may be made to step S101 in the foregoing method embodiment, and details are not described here again.
In step S402, when it is monitored that the user touches the same position on the screen for a preset time duration and the same frame of thumbnail is triggered within the preset time duration, the triggered thumbnail is determined as a target video thumbnail, and a video image corresponding to the target video thumbnail in the target video is determined as a target video image.
In this example, the trigger target instruction is specifically that the user touches the same position on the screen for a preset time length, for example, 1 second, and the same frame of thumbnail is triggered within the preset time length, that is, the same frame of thumbnail is selected within the preset time length. In short, a user selects a frame of thumbnail and presses the screen for a preset time length, and then a target instruction is triggered to the selected thumbnail. The mode of triggering the target instruction is suitable for the operation of selecting the thumbnail by the user, then previewing and finally determining as the cover, the thumbnail needs to be selected, and only long pressing is needed without other complicated operations, so that the user can conveniently memorize and accurately select the thumbnail of the target video image needing to trigger the target instruction.
In step S403, thumbnails of video images adjacent to the target video image are displayed in the video thumbnail according to the position in the target video, and thumbnails of a number of multi-frame video images equal to the number of video images adjacent to the target video image in the video thumbnail are masked and displayed, where the video images adjacent to the target video image include: the video image of the preset frame in the target video and before the target video image, and/or the video image of the preset frame in the target video and after the target video image.
And the thumbnails of the video images are displayed in an ordered manner according to the sequence of the video images in the target video.
In this example, the video thumbnail is updated with the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the target video image, i.e., the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the target video image is additionally displayed in the video thumbnail. In addition, in order to ensure that the thumbnails are displayed more orderly, and to facilitate the user to intuitively see which thumbnails are displayed after being instructed as the trigger template, in this example, thumbnails of video images adjacent to the display target video image are updated, and the video images corresponding to the thumbnails are displayed according to the front and rear positions of the corresponding video image and the video images corresponding to other thumbnails in the target video.
Since the number of thumbnails that can be simultaneously displayed is limited, in an example, thumbnails of multiple frames of video images that are equal in number to video images adjacent to the target video image in the video thumbnails are masked and displayed, and thumbnails that mask too many video images are not selected, thereby ensuring that the maximum number of thumbnails are displayed for the user to select.
For example, referring to fig. 3 as well, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J thumbnails of 10 frames of video images are sequentially displayed in sequence in the video thumbnail of the target video, and the display sequence of the 10 frames of video thumbnails is the same as the sequence of the video images corresponding to the respective thumbnails in the target video, that is, the video image corresponding to the previous frame of thumbnail is in the target video and is necessarily in front of the video image corresponding to the next frame of thumbnail. When the thumbnail E of the video image is triggered by a target instruction, the displayed video thumbnail is updated as follows: C. d, D1, D2, E, E1, E2, F, G, H, the thumbnails D1, D2 additionally displayed at this time between the thumbnail D and the thumbnail E correspond to video images also located between the video images corresponding to the thumbnail D and the thumbnail E in the target video, and the video image corresponding to the thumbnail D1 is located before the video image corresponding to the thumbnail D2 in the target video. Similarly, thumbnails E1, E2 additionally displayed between the thumbnail E and the thumbnail F correspond to video images, and are also located between the video images corresponding to the thumbnails E and F in the target video, and the video image corresponding to the thumbnail E1 is located before the video image corresponding to the thumbnail E2 in the target video. The thumbnails D1 and D2 correspond to video images, and may be continuous or discontinuous in the target video.
It should be further noted that, in this example, the original thumbnail is masked and displayed to achieve the display of the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the target video image, instead of using a simple replacement method, which is also convenient for resuming the display of the masked thumbnail.
Optionally, in another embodiment of the present application, a specific implementation manner of step S403 is: and sequencing and displaying the thumbnails of the continuous N frames of video images which are in the target video and are positioned before the target video image between the thumbnail of the target video image and the previous frame of thumbnail, and/or sequencing and displaying the thumbnails of the continuous M frames of video images which are in the target video and are positioned after the target video image between the thumbnail of the target video image and the next frame of thumbnail.
And N is a positive integer not larger than the number of video images of the target video image and the video image corresponding to the previous frame of thumbnail spaced in the target video. And M is a positive integer not larger than the number of video images of the target video image and the video image corresponding to the next frame of thumbnail spaced in the target video. M and N may be equal positive integers or may not be equal. That is, the video image to which the target video image is adjacent in the present embodiment refers to a continuous multi-frame video image between the target video image and the video image corresponding to the thumbnail of the previous frame thereof, and the multi-frame video image to which the target video image is adjacent and the target video image are also continuous in the target video. For example, referring to the right drawing in fig. 3 as well, the video image corresponding to the thumbnail E is the target image, and the video images corresponding to the thumbnails D1, D2, E, E1, and E2 are consecutive multi-frame video images in the target video. Since, when a user triggers a target instruction for a thumbnail, it is usually desired to obtain a multi-frame video image that is consecutive to a video image corresponding to the thumbnail, in this example, a thumbnail of a video image adjacent to the target video image is added as a thumbnail of a multi-frame video image that is consecutive to the target video image.
However, it should be noted that this is only an alternative way in this example, and the video image adjacent to the target video image is not necessarily between the target video image and the video image corresponding to the thumbnail of the frame preceding the target video image, and the video images before and after the target video image in the target video may be taken as the video images adjacent to the target video image. For example, it is assumed that before the target instruction is not triggered, the displayed video thumbnail is as shown in the left diagram in fig. 3, but after the target instruction is also triggered for the thumbnail E, the displayed thumbnail may be as shown in fig. 5, which specifically includes: C. d, D1, D2, E, E1, E2, F, F2, G. The thumbnails displayed in the updated mode not only include the thumbnails D1, D2, E1 and E2, but also include the thumbnail F2, namely, the thumbnail F2 also belongs to a video image adjacent to the video image corresponding to the thumbnail E, but is not between the thumbnail D and the thumbnail E, nor between the thumbnail E and the thumbnail F.
In step S404, when it is monitored that the target instruction ends, the display of the video thumbnail before updating is resumed.
In this example, the video thumbnail is updated only temporarily by using the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the target video image, and when the target instruction is ended, the video thumbnail is restored to the state before the target instruction is triggered, so that the user can continue to preview the video image corresponding to the other thumbnail, and the user can trigger the target instruction for the other thumbnail to obtain the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the video image corresponding to the other thumbnail.
Alternatively, the target instruction ending may be that the user performs a specific ending operation again to trigger the target instruction ending, for example, an ending virtual key may be set, double-click again, and the like.
In this example, since the target instruction is triggered by pressing for a preset time length, in this example, when it is monitored that the target instruction is ended, the display of the video thumbnail before updating is resumed, specifically: and when the situation that the user stops touching the screen is monitored, resuming to display the video thumbnail before updating.
That is to say, after the user selects the thumbnail and triggers the target instruction for a long time according to the preset time length of the thumbnail, the user needs to keep pressing the screen for a long time to keep the video thumbnail in the updated state, if the user touches the screen, the target instruction is determined to be finished, the thumbnail of the multi-frame video image which is shielded and displayed is restored to be displayed, and the thumbnail which is not shielded and displayed is still normally displayed, so that the mode of triggering the target to be finished is not required to be additionally developed, and the operation of the user is simplified.
Similarly, since the number of thumbnails that can be simultaneously displayed is fixed, it is necessary to mask-display thumbnails of video images adjacent to the target video image while resuming the display of thumbnails of the mask-displayed multi-frame video images.
Optionally, after displaying thumbnails of video images adjacent to the target video image in the video thumbnails according to the positions in the target video, the method may further include:
and responding to the touch screen moving operation of the user, and highlighting the thumbnail triggered by the touch screen moving operation of the user.
That is to say, when a target instruction is triggered, after the video thumbnail is updated by using the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the target video image, the user may move left and right, at this time, in response to a touch screen movement operation of the user, the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the target video image is selected, at this time, the thumbnail is displayed in an enlarged manner in other areas on the user interface, or the original image of the thumbnail is displayed in other areas on the user interface. Of course, other ones of the selected video thumbnails are also possible.
Because a user can select the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the target video image, and when the target instruction is finished, the video thumbnail needs to be restored, in order to perform other operations on the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the selected target video image after the target instruction is finished, in another embodiment of the present application, the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the target video image is displayed in a shielding manner, which specifically includes:
and if the thumbnail triggered by the touch screen moving operation of the user is the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the target video image, replacing and displaying the target video image in the video thumbnail before updating by using the thumbnail triggered by the touch screen moving operation of the user.
Namely, the thumbnail of the video image adjacent to the currently selected target video image is replaced by the thumbnail of the target video image, the thumbnails of other video images except the thumbnail of the target video image before the target triggering instruction are still normally displayed, and the thumbnails of the video images adjacent to the unselected target video images are correspondingly shielded and displayed. Thus, thumbnails of video images adjacent to the selected target video image are retained for other operations by the user, such as setting as a cover page, etc. It should be noted that, for the thumbnail of the video image, the user may also trigger a target instruction for the thumbnail.
And if the thumbnail of the video image not adjacent to the target video image is triggered by the touch screen moving operation of the user, resuming to display the video thumbnail before updating.
For example, on the basis of the example corresponding to fig. 3, also referring to fig. 3, before the target instruction is not triggered, the video thumbnail of the target video, as shown in the left diagram in fig. 3, includes A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, when the thumbnail E of the video image is triggered by the target instruction, as shown in the right diagram in fig. 3, the video thumbnail is updated to C, D, D1, D2, E, E1, E2, F, G, H, and at this time, after the user selects E1 for updating the display through the touch screen moving operation, that is, as shown in the right diagram in fig. 3. At the moment, the user triggers the target instruction to end by breaking touch, namely no longer pressing the screen for a long time, so as to recover the video thumbnail. As shown in fig. 6, the recovered video thumbnail specifically includes: A. b, C, D, E1, F, G, H, I, J, namely, the thumbnail E is replaced by the selected thumbnail E1 relative to the video thumbnail before the command of the trigger object, and the thumbnail E is not displayed on the user interface any more. If the user selects any thumbnail C, D, E, F, G, H when the target command is finished, the recovered thumbnail is completely consistent with that before the target command is triggered.
According to the method for displaying the video images, the video thumbnails of the multiple frames of video images including the target video are displayed, when it is monitored that the same position on a screen is touched by a user for a preset time length and the same frame of thumbnail is selected in the preset time length, the video image corresponding to the triggered thumbnail is used as the target video image, the thumbnails of the video images adjacent to the target video image are displayed in the video thumbnails according to the position in the target video, and the thumbnails of the multiple frames of video images, the number of which is equal to that of the video images adjacent to the target video image, in the video thumbnails are shielded and displayed. Therefore, the video images adjacent to the target video image which is not displayed can be displayed for the user through long-time pressing operation of the user, more thumbnails of the video images are provided for the user to select, the thumbnails of a fixed part of the video images in the video are not needed, and the user can select the most representative video image as the cover page of the video. And when the target instruction is finished, the video thumbnail can be recovered to the position before the target instruction is triggered, so that the user can continuously select other thumbnails.
