As shown in fig. 1, the screen display method provided by the embodiment of the present application may include steps 201 and 202 described below.
Step 201, in the case that a first interface is displayed in a target area of a screen, the electronic device receives a first message.
In this embodiment of the application, the first interface is a display interface of a desktop or an application program, and the first message is a message of the first application program.
In this embodiment, the first interface may be understood as any interface in the electronic device, the first message may be understood as a message (for example, a push message or a chat message) received through a first application, and the first application is any application in the electronic device.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present application, the screen of the electronic device may be a waterfall screen, and a main screen (also referred to as a main area, that is, a rectangular display area on the front of the screen, that is, the above-mentioned target area) of the waterfall screen and the side screen are integrated into a whole. The main screen is a screen area except for the side screen in the screen of the electronic device. The side screen may comprise at least one display area (also referred to as a side area) each for displaying different content, e.g. one for displaying an application identifier corresponding to a received message and another for displaying a received message. The specific setting can be according to the actual use demand, and the embodiment of the application is not limited herein.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, at least one display area may be disposed on the right screen, for example, to prevent a false touch, an area that is touched by a finger on the upper right side less may be used as a display area of an application identifier, and a user may perform a touch operation; the lower part of the right screen is used for prompting the message of the application program running in the background, and touch control can be shielded (namely, the user cannot perform touch control operation). Of course, the user may also set the at least one display area on the left screen according to actual use requirements, or set a part of the display area on the right screen and another part of the display area on the left screen, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
The electronic device is taken as a mobile phone for illustration. As shown in fig. 2, the waterfall screen of the mobile phone includes a main screen 10 and a side screen 11 (the right side screen is taken as an example in fig. 2), the side screen 11 includes two side areas (e.g., a side area 12 and a side area 13), the side area 12 is used for displaying an application identifier, and the side area 13 is used for displaying a received message.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, a size of at least one side area of the waterfall screen (for example, a first side area and a second side area in the following embodiments) may be a default of the system, or may be set by a user according to an actual use requirement; the application identifier allowed to be displayed and the number of the application identifiers allowed to be displayed in at least one side area can be default by a system or can be set by a user according to actual use requirements.
Step 202, the electronic device displays a first application identifier in a first side area of the screen, and displays a first message in a second side area of the screen.
In this embodiment of the application, the first application identifier is used to indicate the first application program.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the electronic device may display all or part of the content of the first message in the second side area.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the first application identifier may include at least one of: an icon of the first application and a name of the first application.
Illustratively, in conjunction with fig. 2, as shown in fig. 3, in the case where the home screen 10 of the handset displays a first interface (e.g., an interface for an email application), when the handset receives a first message (e.g., a message for a browser application), the handset may display the identifier 14 of the browser application in the side area 12 and the first message in the side area 13 (e.g., a company that announces a market today).
In the embodiment of the application, the waterfall screen side screen is utilized to display the newly received message and the identifier of the application program corresponding to the message, so that the problem that the front screen is shielded by the current background message can be effectively avoided while the functions of the waterfall screen side are enriched.
Optionally, in this embodiment, with reference to fig. 1, as shown in fig. 4, before the step 202, the screen display method provided in this embodiment further includes the following step 301, and the step 202 may be specifically implemented by the following step 202 a.
Step 301, the electronic device acquires first information.
In an embodiment of the present application, the first information includes at least one of: the total number of the application identifications allowed to be displayed in the first side area, the number of the application identifications displayed in the first side area, and the application identifications allowed to be displayed in the first side area.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the user may preset an application identifier that is allowed to be displayed in the first side area, or a type of the application identifier that is allowed to be displayed.
Step 202a, under the condition that the first information meets the preset condition, the electronic device displays the first application identifier in the first side area, and displays the first message in the second side area of the screen.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the electronic device may display the first application identifier in the first side edge region when the number of the application identifiers displayed in the first side edge region is smaller than a preset number, or is smaller than the total number of the application identifiers allowed to be displayed in the first side edge region.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the electronic device may display the first application identifier in the first side area when the application identifier allowed to be displayed in the first side area includes the first application identifier.
In the embodiment of the application, the electronic device may determine whether to display the first application identifier in the first side area according to some related information of the first side area, so as to accurately and flexibly display the application identifier in the first side area.
The embodiment of the application provides a screen display method, where in a case that a target area of a screen displays a first interface, if an electronic device receives a first message (a message of a first application), the electronic device may display an application identifier of the first application in a first side area of the screen, and display the first message in a second side area of the screen. Since the electronic device can display the message and the identifier of the application corresponding to the message in the side area of the screen when the electronic device receives the message of a certain application, so as to prompt the user of the currently received message, rather than directly displaying the messages on the main screen of the electronic device, the messages can be prevented from blocking the display content in the main screen, and thus the flexibility of displaying the received message of the application by the electronic device is better.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the interaction area (i.e., the first side area) of the side screen may also be provided with a volume bar for adjusting the volume, or a progress bar of a multimedia file is provided, so as to adjust the progress of the currently played multimedia.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present application, after the step 202, the screen display method provided in this embodiment of the present application further includes the following steps 401 and 402.
Step 401, the electronic device receives a second message.
In this embodiment of the application, the second message is a message of a second application program.
Step 402, the electronic device displays the second application identifier in the first side area according to the target sequence, and updates the first message displayed in the second side area to a second message.
In this embodiment of the application, the second application identifier is used to indicate a second application program, and the target sequence is any one of: the sequence of the time when the messages are received and the priority sequence of the application programs corresponding to the messages.
It should be noted that, the priority order of the application program corresponding to the message may be understood as: the display priority of the identifier of the application program preset by the user, or the priority of the type to which the application program belongs (for example, the identifier of the communication application program is displayed preferentially, and then the identifier of the video application program is displayed preferentially).
It will be appreciated that after the electronic device receives a message from an application, the electronic device may display the most recently received (i.e., received latest) message in the second side area while displaying the identification of the application in the first side area.
For example, assume that the total number of application identifiers that the first side edge area allows to be displayed is 3. Referring to fig. 3, as shown in fig. 5 (a), the identifier 14 of the browser application is displayed in the side area 12 of the mobile phone, and if the mobile phone receives a message of the video application in the background at this time, the mobile phone may display the identifier 15 of the video application in the side area 12 in the order of the time when the message is received (i.e. the identifier 15 of the video application is located behind the identifier 14 of the browser application), and update the first message in the side area 13 to the message of the video application (e.g. the program a is broadcast officially today); if the message of the short message application is received again at the background of the handset at this point, the handset can continue to display the identifier 16 of the short message application in the side area 12 in the order of the time the message was received (i.e. the identifier 16 of the short message application is located after the identifier 15 of the video application) and update the message of the video application in the side area 13 to the message of the short message application (we are going to the dining bar together today), as shown in fig. 5 (B).
In the embodiment of the application, when the electronic device receives messages of a plurality of application programs, the identifiers of the application programs can be displayed in the first side area according to a certain display sequence, and the latest received message is displayed in the second side area, so that the received message is effectively prompted to a user, and the display effect of the electronic device for displaying the received message is improved.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present application, after the step 202, the screen display method provided in this embodiment of the present application further includes the following steps 501 and 502.
Step 501, the electronic device receives a first input of a user.
In this embodiment of the application, the first input is input of a first application identifier in the first side area by a user.
In an embodiment of the application, the first input is used to trigger the electronic device to switch and display an interface of the first application program.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the first input may specifically be a sliding input of the first application identifier by the user, for example, sliding from a screen edge corresponding to the first application identifier to an inner side of the screen.
Step 502, in response to the first input, the electronic device switches the first interface displayed in the target area to the interface of the first application program, cancels the display of the first application identifier in the first side area, and updates the first message displayed in the second side area to a third message.
In this embodiment of the application, the third message is a message of an application indicated by an application identifier adjacent to the first application identifier in the first side area.
It is to be appreciated that since the interface currently displayed by the home screen is an interface of the first application, the electronic device may not continue to display the first application identifier in the first side area and may not continue to display the first message in the second side area, such that the electronic device may display a message of the application indicated by the next application identifier of the first application identifier in the second side area according to the display order of the application identifiers in the first side area before the display of the first application identifier is not cancelled.
In the embodiment of the application, the side area program switching scheme can facilitate a user to directly switch the electronic device to the corresponding interface of the application program through one input, namely, the operation of the user is simplified, so that the interface of the application program can be switched quickly and efficiently.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present application, after the step 502, the screen display method provided in this embodiment of the present application further includes the following step 503.
Step 503, if the first interface is a display interface of the third application program, the electronic device displays the third application identifier in the first side area.
In this embodiment of the application, the third application identifier is used to indicate a third application program.
In this embodiment, when the electronic device switches the interfaces, when it is detected that the interface displayed on the main screen of the electronic device is an interface of an application program, the electronic device may display the interface of the application program on the main screen and display the identifier of the application program in the first side area.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the electronic device may display a third application identifier at an initial position of the first application identifier that has been cancelled to be displayed in the first side area; alternatively, the electronic device may display the third application identifier before or after all application identifiers in the first side area.
Exemplarily, in conjunction with (B) in fig. 5, as shown in fig. 6, after the user makes a first input to the identifier 14 of the browser application in the first side area, the mobile phone updates the first interface in the main screen 10 to the interface of the browser application, and cancels the display of the identifier 14 of the browser application in the first side area, and displays the identifier 17 of the mail application in the first side area; meanwhile, the electronic device updates the message of the short message application displayed in the second side area to the message of the video application.
In the embodiment of the application, the side screen area of the electronic device is used as the identifier (which can be used for switching the interface of the application) and the message display area of the application running in the background, so that not only can a new message of the application running in the background be explicitly displayed, but also the display content of the front screen can be prevented from being blocked, and the interface of the application can be quickly switched.
It should be noted that, in the screen display method provided in the embodiment of the present application, the execution main body may be a screen display device, or a control module for executing the screen display method in the screen display device. The screen display device provided by the embodiment of the present application is described by taking the screen display device as an example to execute the screen display method.
