Detailed Description
In order to more clearly explain the overall concept of the present application, the following detailed description is given by way of example in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
First, terms appearing in the embodiments of the present invention will be described.
The recovery of the running configuration of the switch means that the existing running configuration of the switch is recovered to some other version, and the running configuration of the switch generally needs to be restarted before being effective.
The operation configuration replacement of the switch means that the existing operation configuration of the switch is replaced to some other version, and the operation configuration replacement does not need to be restarted and takes effect immediately.
The configuration restoration and replacement functions are similar, but the configuration replacement can avoid the switch power-off restart so as to interrupt the service, and the effect is better, but the switch is required to support the related instructions.
Restoring or replacing the configuration of the switch generally requires that a serial port line is directly connected to a serial port of the switch to input a related instruction, or a third-party tool is connected to the switch to input a related command in a Telnet protocol or ssh (secure shell) protocol mode.
Fig. 1 is a framework structural view of a switch configuration system according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 1, an SDN system according to an embodiment of the present invention may have a front-end interface, such as a Web front-end interface, and perform control through a Web page, or may be in communication connection with other display terminals, such as a smart phone and a computer device, to perform control, which is not limited in this respect.
The SDN system managed switch provided by the embodiment of the invention stores parameters such as an IP address, a user name and a password of the switch, wherein the password can be a password of an SSH protocol or a password of a Telnet protocol. The embodiment of the invention can directly carry out configuration recovery or replacement on the switch on the WEB front end, so that the configuration management of the SDN system on the switch is simpler and more efficient.
The switch obtains the corresponding configuration file through the server,
the server provided by the embodiment of the invention comprises but is not limited to a tftp server and an sftp server
Fig. 2 is a schematic flowchart of a switch configuration method according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 2, the switch configuration method includes:
201. the switch responds to configuration instructions of the SDN system;
202. the switch acquires a configuration file according to a first instruction in the configuration instructions;
203. and the switch carries out processing of a corresponding configuration type based on the configuration file according to a second instruction in the configuration instructions, wherein the configuration type comprises configuration recovery or configuration replacement.
In a specific embodiment of the present invention, 201, the switch responds to a configuration instruction of the SDN system, where the configuration instruction is sent by the SDN system according to the configuration type supported by the switch.
In one embodiment, the SDN system performs configuration recovery on a switch, determines a certain configuration file in the switch to perform configuration recovery operation through a front end of the SDN system, and issues the configuration instruction to a southbound interface of the SDN system, and then issues the following configuration instruction to the switch through the southbound interface:
a first instruction "copy tftp:// TftpServer: port/fileName tempFileNamemrffvfName";
the second instruction "copy configFile startup config".
The switch acquires the configuration file from the server according to the first instruction, copies the configuration file to be recovered to an internal memory of the switch, and generates a temporary configuration file. The temporary file will be deleted after the switch configuration recovery is complete.
Specifically, in the first instruction:
"TftpServer" denotes the IP of the tftp server;
"port" denotes a port number of the tftp protocol;
"fileName" represents the file name under the tftp server;
"tempFileName" represents the name of the file copied to the internal memory of the switch;
"vrfName" denotes the network over which the file is transmitted.
After the switch executes the first instruction, copying a temporary configuration file in the memory to the current running configuration by executing a second instruction, sending information representing the generation of the temporary configuration file to the SDN system by the switch, restarting or not restarting the switch according to a front-end instruction of the SDN system, enabling the configuration recovered after restarting to be effective immediately, enabling the configuration recovered without restarting not to be effective temporarily, enabling the configuration recovered next time to be effective, and deleting the temporary configuration file after the configuration recovery of the switch is completed so as to avoid waste of the memory of the switch.
In one embodiment, the SDN system performs configuration replacement on the switch, which requires the switch to support the function of the configuration replacement. The front end selects a certain configuration file of the switch to carry out configuration replacement operation, the instruction is issued to a southbound interface of the SDN controller by the front end, and then the southbound interface issues the following configuration instruction to the switch:
a first instruction "copy tftp:// TftpServer: port/fileName tempFileNamemrffvfName";
the second instruction "configure replace bootflash:///tempFileName".
The switch acquires the configuration file from the server according to the first instruction, copies the configuration file to be replaced to the memory of the switch, and generates a temporary configuration file.
And the switch copies the temporary configuration file in the memory to the current running configuration according to the second instruction, and deletes the temporary configuration file after the configuration function is completed.
In other embodiments of the present invention, there are other ways to configure the alternate function southbound interface that can be selected.
In some examples, the switch may instruct the server to backup the configuration file, then obtain the configuration file from the server, and directly copy the configuration file to replace the currently running configuration. The first instruction of this embodiment is "configure replace sftp:// admin @ sftp server IP/configlavrf management".
In some examples, the switch may obtain the configuration file by means of SCP transmission and copy the configuration that replaces the current operation. The first instruction of this embodiment is "configure replace scp:// root @ virtual machine IP/root/configilvelrf management".
In summary, in the embodiments of the present invention, the switch is managed by the SDN system, the switch acquires the configuration file from the corresponding server through the instruction, and the configuration recovery or the configuration replacement is performed on the configuration currently running by the switch, and as long as the switch supporting "copy configFile startup-configuration" or the related command line can perform effective configuration recovery, the switch is restarted and becomes effective after the recovery. As long as the switch supporting the command related to the 'configure replace' can carry out effective configuration replacement, the switch can be directly effective without restarting after the replacement.
In some implementations of the embodiments of the present invention, the switch configuration method further includes:
the switch backs up the currently running configuration according to a third instruction in the configuration instructions to obtain a backup file;
and the switch responds to a fourth instruction for changing the parameters in the backup file by the SDN system, and changes the parameters in the backup file to obtain the configuration file.
Based on the same idea, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a switch configuration system, as shown in fig. 1, the switch configuration system includes: a server, a switch, and an SDN system hosting the switch, wherein,
the SDN system is used for sending a configuration instruction to the switch according to the configuration type supported by the switch;
the switch is used for responding to a first instruction in the configuration instruction to acquire a configuration file and is used for carrying out corresponding configuration type processing based on the configuration file according to a second instruction in the configuration instruction, and the configuration type comprises configuration recovery or configuration replacement;
the server is used for providing configuration files for the switch.
In some embodiments, if the configuration type is configuration recovery, the switch is configured to copy the configuration file to a memory, generate a temporary configuration file, and delete the temporary configuration file after the switch completes configuration recovery.
In some embodiments, if the configuration type is configuration replacement, the switch is configured to instruct the server to backup the configuration file, obtain the configuration file sent by the server based on a specified communication protocol, copy and replace the configuration file with a currently running configuration, and complete the configuration replacement.
The embodiments in the present specification are described in a progressive manner, and the same and similar parts among the embodiments are referred to each other, and each embodiment focuses on the differences from the other embodiments. In particular, as for the apparatus embodiment, since it is substantially similar to the method embodiment, the description is relatively simple, and for the relevant points, reference may be made to the partial description of the method embodiment.
The above are merely examples of the present application and are not intended to limit the present application. Various modifications and changes may occur to those skilled in the art. Any modification, equivalent replacement, improvement, etc. made within the spirit and principle of the present application should be included in the application.
