Description

Video group calling method and device in broadband trunking communication
Technical Field
The present invention belongs to the technical field of Broadband Trunking Communication (B-TrunC), and in particular, to a video group call method and apparatus in Broadband Trunking Communication.
Background
With the rise of intelligent terminals and mobile internet, wireless data services are growing explosively. With the rapid development of the industries such as global public safety, government affairs, traffic, energy and the like, the requirements of industry users on broadband wireless data service and multimedia cluster scheduling are rapidly increased and urgent on the basis of the traditional voice cluster. The LTE technology is used as a global 4G standard, has the advantages of high speed, high spectrum efficiency, low time delay and the like, is powerful in industrial strength, and becomes a common choice of a global wireless private network broadband technology. The evolution of broadband trunking technology based on LTE technology is also becoming a consensus for the development of wireless private networks worldwide. The standardization work of the B-Trunc system based on the LTE technology is firstly developed in China, and at present, broadband cluster products are widely deployed and applied in the industries of government affairs, public security, emergency, traffic, energy and the like.
The B-TrunC standard defines 2 types of video single call and video group call for video services. The video single call is a one-to-one video call, the bottom layer communication is based on a unicast mode, and the data plane of the service can be full duplex or simplex. Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a single call flow in the prior art in which a user a pushes his/her video to a user B. The video group calling is a one-to-many video calling, a plurality of users form a group, one user returns videos, other users receive videos, and the data plane is simplex, wherein a path for the users to return the videos to the network side is uplink, and a path for the users to receive the videos from the network side is downlink. The uplink communication is based on a unicast mode, and the downlink communication is based on a multicast mode. Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a group call flow in the prior art in which a user a pushes its video to other users in a group.
The group calling based on the voice of multicast has been widely used, the code rate of voice is very low, for example, the code rate of voice in AMR format is generally 12.2 Kbps. The code rate of the mainstream 1080P H.264 format video is generally 4Mbps, and the dramatic increase of the code rate brings huge challenges to wireless communication transmission. In wireless communication, the coverage and capacity of a base station are two spears, because the resources of the base station are fixed, to increase the coverage of a radio bearer, more resources are needed, which results in the capacity of the base station being reduced; conversely, to increase capacity, coverage is affected. One parameter affecting radio bearer is a Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) index value, and the larger the MCS index value is, the higher the requirement on signal quality (poor coverage) is, the less resources are occupied, and the larger the base station capacity is; the smaller the MCS index value, the lower the signal quality requirement (better coverage), the more resources are occupied, and the smaller the base station capacity.
The downlink bearer of the video group call is based on a multicast mode, all users share one bearer, if the signal quality of most users is good and the signal quality of a few users is poor, in order to provide reliable transmission for the users with the poor signal quality of the few users, the MCS index needs to be reduced integrally. Compared with voice service, the characteristic of high code rate of video service occupies more resources, and reducing the MCS of multicast bearer can cause the capacity of a base station to be reduced sharply, and for users with good signal quality, waste can be caused.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention is further described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
For simplicity and clarity of description, the invention will be described below by describing several representative embodiments. Numerous details of the embodiments are set forth to provide an understanding of the principles of the invention. It will be apparent, however, that the invention may be practiced without these specific details. Some embodiments are not described in detail, but rather are merely provided as frameworks, in order to avoid unnecessarily obscuring aspects of the invention. Hereinafter, "including" means "including but not limited to", "according to … …" means "at least according to … …, but not limited to … … only". In view of the language convention of chinese, the following description, when it does not specifically state the number of a component, means that the component may be one or more, or may be understood as at least one.
In the embodiment of the invention, the technical problems of considering both coverage and capacity and reducing video time delay in the video group call service are considered, the multicast load is not modified, and the service is established for the group call user with poor signal through video single call, thereby simulating and compensating the video group call downlink.
In the embodiment of the invention, users report the quality of their own wireless signals, and the network side establishes a video single call for users with poor signal quality to simulate and compensate the downlink of the video group call. The method for providing the video single-call simulation video group call for the user with poor signal quality does not affect the multicast load of the video group call, has limited influence on the capacity of the base station, ensures the service quality (increases the transmission reliability and reduces the time delay) and improves the coverage range.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart of a video group call method in broadband trunking communication according to the present invention. The flow shown in fig. 3 may be performed by the core network.
As shown in fig. 3, the method includes:
step 301: a video group call request is received that includes a group number for a video group.
For example, the core network receives a video group call request including a group number of a video group, which is sent by a UE as a group call initiator.
Step 302: the method comprises the steps of establishing a video group call for group members in a video group based on a video group call request, pushing videos to the group members in the video group based on a multicast downlink bearer, establishing a video single call for UE when the UE is judged to be the group member of the video group and the signal quality of the UE cannot reach a preset standard, and pushing the videos to the UE based on a unicast downlink bearer.
In one embodiment, each member of the video team detects its own signal quality parameter. Moreover, when the member of the video group determines that the signal quality of the member of the video group does not meet the predetermined standard, the member of the video group whose signal quality does not meet the predetermined standard issues a prompt message to the core network, so that the core network can determine that the signal quality of the member of the video group does not meet the predetermined standard based on the prompt message.
In one embodiment, each member of the video team detects its own signal quality parameter. And each member in the video group respectively sends the signal quality parameter of the member to the core network, and the core network judges whether the signal quality of the member can not reach the preset standard or not based on the signal quality parameter provided by the member.
In particular, the signal quality parameter may include any combination of one or more of Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP), signal to noise ratio (SINR), or Reference Signal Received Quality (RSRQ), among others. Wherein: the RSRP is a network signal strength indicator, and the signal field on the terminal is mainly displayed according to the RSRP. RSRP value range: -44 to-140 dBm, the larger the value, the better the signal quality. The value range of SINR is as follows: 0-30, the larger the value, the better the signal quality. The value range of RSRQ: -3 to-19.5, the larger the value, the better the signal quality.
The core network establishes a video group call for the group members in the video group based on the video group call request, and pushes the video to the group members in the video group based on the multicast downlink bearer.
And when the core network judges that the UE is a member of the video group and the signal quality of the UE does not meet the predetermined standard, establishing a video single call for the UE, and pushing the video to the UE based on the unicast downlink bearer.
The rate configuration in LTE is achieved by MCS index values. The MCS index values form a rate table with the MCS index values as rows and columns of the table for the factors that affect the communication rate concerned. Thus, each MCS index value corresponds to a physical transmission rate for a set of parameters. Generally speaking, the range of the MCS index value is 0-31, for example, when the MCS index value can be set to 13-15, the MCS index value is moderate.
In one embodiment, the MCS index value specified by the multicast downlink bearer is greater (e.g., set to a suitable value) than the MCS index value specified by the unicast downlink bearer. Therefore, users in the group that are not determined to have a signal quality below a predetermined standard receive downlink multicast data based on a moderate MCS index value specified by the multicast downlink bearer. Moreover, by reducing the MCS index value of the unicast bearer of the video single call, the MCS index value of the unicast bearer of the video single call is smaller than the MCS index value specified by the multicast downlink bearer, and the coverage range of the video single call can be improved. Therefore, the invention provides the mode of simulating the video group call by the video single call for the user with poor signal quality, does not influence the multicast load of the video group call, has limited influence on the capacity of the base station, ensures the service quality (increases the transmission reliability, reduces the time delay) and improves the coverage range.
In one embodiment, establishing a video single call for the UE comprises: carrying the group number of the video group in the extension field of the video single call request; sending the video single call request to the UE; the method further comprises the following steps:
and when the UE judges that the group number of the video group contained in the video single call request is the same as the group number of the video group call, ignoring the video pushed to the UE based on the multicast downlink bearer. Therefore, the UE whose signal quality does not meet the predetermined standard may receive the video through the multicast downlink bearer or may receive the video through the unicast downlink bearer. Preferably, the UE whose signal quality does not meet the predetermined standard ignores the video pushed based on the multicast downlink bearer.
In one embodiment, establishing a video single call for the UE comprises: carrying the group number of the video group in the extension field of the video single call request; sending the video single call request to the UE; the method further comprises the following steps: and when the UE judges that the group number of the video group contained in the video single call request is the same as the group number of the video group call, performing de-coincidence and operation on the video pushed to the UE based on the multicast downlink bearer and the video pushed to the UE based on the unicast downlink bearer. Therefore, the UE whose signal quality does not meet the predetermined standard may receive the video through the multicast downlink bearer or may receive the video through the unicast downlink bearer. Preferably, the UE whose signal quality does not meet the predetermined standard performs a de-coincidence and operation on the video pushed based on the multicast downlink bearer and the video pushed based on the unicast downlink bearer, so as to further reduce the possibility of packet loss.
Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of a group call process in which a user a pushes its video to other users in a group according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 4, user a is the video group call initiator, and users B and C are the group members of the video group.
Step 401: and the user B moves to the position with poor signal quality and reports the poor signal quality to the core network.
Step 402: user a initiates a video group call (call request) to the core network containing the group number of the video group.
Step 403: the core network sends a downlink group call establishment instruction (group setup indication) to the group members (user B and user C) in the video group.
Step 404: the core network sends a call accept (call accept) to user a.
Step 405: subscriber a sends a call complete to the core network.
Step 406: the core network sends a video single call request carrying the group number of the video group to the user B.
Step 407: subscriber B sends a call acknowledgement (call confirm) to the core network.
Step 408: user B sends a call acceptance (call alerting) to the core network.
Step 409: the subscriber B sends a call connection (call connect) to the core network.
Step 410: the core network sends a call connection Ack to the user B.
The MCS of the downstream multicast bearer is set to be moderate and the user B, C receives downstream data (user a's audio-video RTP stream) based on the downstream multicast bearer. And the MCS of the unicast bearer of the video single call established by the core network for the user B is reduced compared with the MCS of the downlink multicast bearer to improve the coverage, and the audio and video RTP stream of the user A is sent to the user B for compensation through the single call. The user B has multicast and unicast downlink at the same time, and the user C has only multicast downlink. After receiving the video single call, the user B judges that the group number in the signaling is consistent with the group number of the group call on the multicast bearer, and then receives data from the channel of the unicast bearer of the video single call, and ignores the data on the multicast bearer, or de-overlaps the data on the multicast and unicast bearers and further reduces the possibility of packet loss.
Therefore, the embodiment of the invention provides the video single-call simulation video group call for the user with poor signal quality, does not influence the multicast load of the video group call, has limited influence on the capacity of the base station, ensures the service quality (increases the transmission reliability, reduces the time delay) and improves the coverage range.

In addition, the MCS index value of the unicast bearer of the video single call is smaller than the MCS index value specified by the multicast downlink bearer, so that the coverage of the video single call can be improved.
Also, data is received from the channel of the unicast bearer of the video unicast call, while data on the multicast bearer is ignored, thereby simplifying data processing. Or, the data on the multicast bearer and the unicast bearer are de-overlapped, so that the possibility of packet loss is further reduced.
