In an embodiment according to the invention, the operating system 120 of the computing device 100 is configured to execute the control method 200 of window exposure effects according to the invention. The operating system 120 of the computing device 100 includes a plurality of program instructions for executing the control method 200 for window presentation according to the present invention. It should be noted that the method 200 for controlling window exposure effect of the present invention is implemented at the operating system 120 level, and is suitable for controlling window exposure effect of any application program.
Fig. 2 shows a flowchart of a method 200 for controlling a window presentation effect according to an embodiment of the present invention. It should be noted that, a plurality of application programs may reside in the computing device 100, one or more application programs may run on the operating system 120, and a system desktop may run on the operating system of the computing device 100, and the application programs may present corresponding windows on the system desktop when running, so that the windows of one or more application programs may be presented on the system desktop.
As shown in fig. 2, the method 200 begins at step S210.
In step S210, a current display effect of one or more windows presented by a system desktop is obtained.
Subsequently, in step S220, it is determined whether window switching of the current presentation effect is allowed.
According to one embodiment, the operation system acquires the current showing effect of the window and is triggered by the operation of the user at the client. Specifically, the operating system includes a window switching service and a window manager, and when the window switching service is started, a window management interface is correspondingly presented on the system desktop, and the window management interface includes a personalized button related to a window effect. When a user triggers a personalized button on a window management interface, the window switching service acquires the current display effect of one or more windows presented on the system desktop in response to the operation of the user. In other words, before the current exhibition effect of the window is obtained, the operating system receives the operation of triggering the personalized button on the window management interface by the user. And when receiving the operation of triggering the personalized button by the user, acquiring the current display effect of one or more windows presented on the system desktop by the window switching service.
And then, the window switching service sends the acquired current display effect of the one or more windows to the window manager, and the window manager determines whether to allow the window to switch the current display effect according to the current display effect of the one or more windows.
According to one embodiment, the operating system of the present invention may be implemented as Linux, Unix, FreeBSD, and the system Desktop may be implemented as KDE (Kool Desktop Environment), but is not limited thereto. In one embodiment, the window switching service may be implemented as a WMSwitcher and the window manager may be implemented as a KWin, but the invention is not limited thereto.
According to one embodiment, the determination may be based on device information of the computing device when determining whether to allow the window to switch the current presentation effect. The device information includes, for example, hardware information and software information of the computing device 100. Specifically, the window manager first obtains the device information of the computing device 100, and then determines whether the computing device 100 supports one or more currently presented window switching current presentation effects based on the device information, that is, whether the device information (hardware information, software information) of the computing device 100 can support the current window switching current presentation effects, thereby determining whether to allow the window to switch the current presentation effects.
It should be noted that the computing device 200 of the present invention may be implemented as a number of differently configured computing devices. The level of the configuration of the computing device can be determined according to the hardware information of the computing device. The software information includes, for example, processes of various applications currently running and consumption and occupation of processors and memories by the current processes, so that the current load and the computing capability of the computing device can be determined according to the software information.
When the window manager determines that the configuration of the computing device is low according to the hardware information and the configuration cannot support window switching of the display effect, the window is not allowed to switch the current display effect, and a corresponding switching effect control cannot be displayed on a window management interface. When the window manager determines that the load of the computing device is high according to the software information, in order to avoid the effect of switching on special effects on other processes, the window is not allowed to switch the current display effect, and a corresponding switching effect control is not displayed on a window management interface.
Thus, according to the technical scheme of the invention, whether the computing equipment can support the window switching display effect is determined based on the actual hardware configuration and the current load and the computing capability of the computing equipment, and when the actual configuration, the load and the computing capability of the computing equipment are higher and stronger and the window switching display effect can be supported, the function of switching the window display effect is provided for a user, so that the window switching display effect is allowed. Therefore, the influence on other processes caused by window switching display effect when the configuration, load and operation capacity of the computing equipment are not enough to support the switching of the window display effect is avoided, and the stable operation of each process in the computing equipment is ensured.
Subsequently, in step S230, if the window manager determines that the window is allowed to switch the current presentation effect, a corresponding switch effect control is displayed on the window management interface. Therefore, the switching operation of the window display effect based on the switching effect control can be performed by the user.
Finally, in step S240, the window manager receives a switching operation of the user on the window display effect based on the switching effect control, and determines a new display effect based on the switching operation, so as to control the window to display with the new display effect.
According to one embodiment, the process of the window manager receiving the switching operation of the window display effect by the user based on the switching effect control is specifically as follows:
firstly, responding to the opening operation of a user on the switching effect control, opening the switching effect control, and displaying a corresponding effect setting module on a window management interface. In this way, the user can set new display effect information for the window at the effect setting module.
And then, new display effect information set for the window by the user in the effect setting module is obtained, and a new display effect is determined based on the new display effect information, so that the window can be controlled to be displayed based on the new display effect.
In an embodiment according to the present invention, the window presentation effects that the method 200 of the present invention is adapted to control may include one or more types of presentation effects. That is, when the display effect of the window is controlled, the display effect of each type can be controlled and switched respectively, so that the window can be presented on the system desktop based on various display effects.
According to one embodiment, the display effect of the window provided by the invention includes, but is not limited to, a transparency effect and a minimization effect of the window. Here, the transparency effect may correspond to one transparency value section, and the minimization effect may be implemented as various animation effects. It should be noted that the current presentation effect of the window, the switched new presentation effect may each include a transparency effect and/or a minimization effect of the window. It should also be noted that, when controlling the presentation effect of the switching window, the present presentation effect category is not limited, and the new presentation effect category switched may include the present presentation effect or may include an effect not currently presented. For example, even if the current presentation effect includes only the transparency effect, the new presentation effect required to be switched at the user-based switching operation may include the transparency effect and/or the minimization effect.
According to one embodiment, in step S240, after determining a new presentation effect based on the switching operation of the user, the window manager further determines whether the computing device supports the new presentation effect based on the device information, and controls the window to be presented with the new presentation effect if the new presentation effect is supported. Otherwise, if the new display effect is not supported, the current display effect of the window is not switched.
In one embodiment, the new presentation effect includes a transparency effect and a minimization effect of the window. The transparency effect of the window may be implemented based on OpenGL mixing, and the minimization effect of the window may be implemented based on animation. In this way, when determining whether the computing device supports a new presentation effect based on the device information, determining whether a transparency effect is supported by determining whether the computing device supports OpenGL mixing (e.g., determining whether hardware information, current load, and computing power of the computing device support OpenGL mixing), and if the OpenGL mixing is supported, determining that the transparency effect is supported, thereby controlling the window to present with the transparency effect; if OpenGL blending is not supported, the window is not switched to the transparency effect. Determining whether a minimization effect is supported by determining whether the computing device supports animation (e.g., determining whether hardware information, current load, and computational power of the computing device support animation), and if so, controlling the window to be presented with the minimization effect; if animation is not supported, the window is not switched to the minimize effect.
Therefore, according to the technical scheme of the invention, after the new display effect required to be switched by the user is determined, whether the computing equipment can support the window to be switched to the new display effect is determined based on the hardware configuration of the computing equipment and the current load and the computing capacity, and when the equipment information of the computing equipment can support the new display effect, the window is allowed to be switched to the new display effect. Therefore, when the effect switching is carried out on the window, not only can stable operation of each process in the computing equipment be ensured, but also the efficiency and the presentation effect of window switching display can be improved.
According to one embodiment, the window-based presentation effect may include one or more types of presentation effects, and the effect setting module may include one or more effect setting items, each of which may correspond to one of the presentation effects. In this way, the display of the effect settings module on the window management interface may be implemented to display one or more effect settings items on the window management interface.
It should be noted that a variety of presentation effect information may be set for the corresponding type of presentation effect based on each effect setting item, for example, transparency effect information may be set based on one numerical range, and minimization information may be selected based on a variety of animation options. By setting different exhibition effect information for each kind of exhibition effect, the window can be made to assume different states in each kind of exhibition effect. Therefore, the window display effect is richer and diversified, the requirements of different users on window display are favorably met, and the user experience is improved.
Specifically, when the toggle effect control is turned on in response to a user's turn-on operation of the toggle effect control, the window manager of the operating system 120 may transmit configuration information of the one or more effect setting items to the window management interface so as to display the one or more effect setting items on the window management interface. After displaying one or more effect setting items on the window management interface, the user may set corresponding presentation effect information based on each effect setting item. Based on this, the fact of acquiring the new exhibition effect information set to the window by the user is: and after the one or more effect setting items are displayed on the window management interface, receiving new display effect information set by the user on the one or more effect setting items.
According to one embodiment, the effect setting items include a transparency effect setting item corresponding to a transparency effect, and a minimization effect setting item corresponding to a minimization effect. The transparency effect information of the window may be set based on the transparency effect setting item so that the window exhibits a corresponding transparency effect. The minimization effect information of the window may be set based on the minimization effect setting item so that the window exhibits a corresponding minimization effect. It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above listed display effects and the kinds of the corresponding effect setting items, and the specific display effect types can be set by those skilled in the art according to the actual situation.
In one embodiment, the receiving, by a window manager of an operating system, a switching operation of a user for a window presentation effect based on a switching effect control, and determining a new presentation effect based on the switching operation of the user may include: receiving transparency effect information set by a user in a transparency effect setting item, and determining a transparency value based on the transparency effect information to determine the transparency effect of the window; and receiving minimization effect information set by the user at the minimization effect setting item, and determining the minimization effect of the window based on the minimization effect information.
In one embodiment, the transparency effect setting item comprises a slidable transparency adjustment control, and the user can set and adjust the transparency effect information by sliding the transparency adjustment control, so that the window management interface sends the corresponding transparency effect information to the window manager.
