Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein like reference numerals refer to the like elements throughout. The embodiments are described below in order to explain the present invention by referring to the figures.
Fig. 1 illustrates a flowchart of a screen recording method for an electronic terminal according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. The method may be implemented by a computer program. For example, the method may be performed by an application installed in the electronic terminal or by a functional program implemented in an operating system of the electronic terminal. As an example, the electronic terminal may be a mobile communication terminal (e.g., a smartphone), a smart wearable device (e.g., a smartwatch), a personal computer, a tablet computer, a game console, a digital multimedia player, or the like having a screen and supporting a split-screen display.
Referring to fig. 1, in step S10, the electronic terminal displays an interface including a plurality of split windows.
It should be understood that different split screen windows may belong to the same application or to different applications, and the invention is not limited in this regard, e.g., multiple split screen windows may belong to the same application for displaying different user interfaces of the application separately. For example, fig. 2 illustrates an interface displayed by an electronic terminal that includes multiple split-screen windows, where different split-screen windows belong to different applications.
In step S20, when an operation of starting the screen recording function is detected, at least one of the multiple split screen windows is determined as a target recording object.
As an example, when an operation of starting the recording function is detected, a selection function of selecting a target recording object for the plurality of split-screen windows may be provided, and the at least one split-screen window of the plurality of split-screen windows may be determined as the target recording object based on a selection result. In other words, the user can select at least a part of the screen area as the screen recording area according to the requirement.
As an example, a selection function for a user to directly select a split screen window requiring screen recording and/or a selection function for a user to select an application requiring screen recording may be provided.
In one embodiment, all currently displayed split-screen windows (i.e., the multiple split-screen windows, such as split-screen windows 1-3 in fig. 3, may be identified) may be identified separately to prompt the user to select a recording split-screen window for the user to select a desired split-screen window as a target recording object. As an example, a border of the plurality of split screen windows may be highlighted to prompt the user to select a target recording object by touching the split screen window. For example, the highlighting may be in a manner such as highlighting that is capable of highlighting the borders of the split-screen window.
As an example, the coordinates of the screen position touched by the touch screen operation of touching the split screen window by the user to select the target recording object may be compared with the coordinate areas of the multiple split screen windows on the screen, and the coordinate area corresponding to which split screen window the touched screen position falls may be determined to determine that the split screen window is selected as the target recording object by the user.
In another embodiment, the split screen window corresponding to the application selected by the selection operation may be determined as the target recording object.
For example, in an Android system, when an application user interface UI (activity) is displayed, a Window management Service (Window Manager Service) creates a connection to a Surface maker, and after the connection, the Window management Service may create a drawing Surface, i.e., a Surface object. The Surface object is used for rendering an application UI interface, and the Surface object contains information such as width, height and name of the Surface and the name of the application app. All the Surface objects currently displayed on the screen can be queried through the Surface Flinger service, and information such as the width, height and name of the apps belonging to the Surface can be acquired, so that the position of the split screen window and the apps belonging to the split screen window can be judged. As an example, a Window (Window) in a Window, android, or other system is a rectangular area on a screen for drawing various UI elements and may respond to user input; the Surface can be understood as a piece of canvas, and one window seen by a user is a Surface; the Window Manager Service allocates and manages the surfaces for all windows, such as display sequence (Z-order), position, size, window animation control and the like; the surface flunger is responsible for mixing the surface data of the application UI according to Z-order and outputting the mixed data to a FrameBuffer (display device driving buffer) for display.
In step S30, screen recording is performed on the target recording object. In other words, only the screen displayed in the target recording object is recorded.
In one embodiment, display data of the target recording object may be acquired according to the position of the target recording object in the screen, and a screen recording video file may be generated based on the acquired display data of the target recording object. For example, according to the position of the target recording object in the screen, the picture data displayed on the screen by the target recording object can be directly read, and the read picture data can be used as the input data of the multimedia encoder to encode, so as to form a screen recording video file.
As an example, according to the position of the screen area where the target recording object is located, the virtual displayer (that is, the copy of the actual display device, which has all the displayed surface data) data of the screen area may be obtained, and the obtained surface data of the virtual displayer is rendered to the surface of the multimedia encoder, that is, the surface data is encoded as input data of the multimedia encoder, so as to form a screen recording video file.
As an example, the display data of the target recording object may be pixel data of a picture that the screen needs to display in the target recording object.
In another embodiment, the display data of the target recording object may be intercepted from the display data of the full screen based on the position of the target recording object in the screen, and the screen recording video file may be generated based on the acquired display data of the target recording object. For example, the display screen of the full screen may be generated based on the display data of the full screen, and the generated display screen may be clipped based on the position of the target recording object in the screen to obtain the display data of the target recording object.
As an example, if only the virtual displayers of the entire screen can be obtained, and the virtual displayers of a specific screen region cannot be obtained, the surface data of the virtual displayers of the entire screen may be obtained, the obtained surface data is rendered to an intermediate surface, so that the obtained surface data is cut according to the screen region position information where the target recording object is located (for example, a display picture may be obtained by rendering the surface data, and the display picture is cut), and the surface data of the screen region where the target recording object is located, which is obtained after cutting, is used as the input of the multimedia encoder to be encoded, so as to form the screen recording video file.
In another embodiment, an application corresponding to the target recording object (i.e., an application to which the target recording object belongs) may be determined, display data of the target recording object is acquired from the data of the application, and a screen recording video file is generated based on the acquired display data of the target recording object. For example, the data of the application may include display data of content that needs to be displayed through a screen.
In addition, as an example, the split screen window as the target recording object may be marked to remind the user which split screen window is being recorded. As shown in fig. 4, the REC may be marked on the split screen window as a target recording object, but the REC mark is not recorded, that is, the REC mark does not appear in the recording screen. In addition, the frame of the split-screen window as the target recording object can be displayed differently than the frames of other split-screen windows.
Further, as an example, the screen recording method for an electronic terminal according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may further include: and responding to the operation of adjusting the size of the target recording object, and continuing to perform screen recording on the adjusted target recording object, namely responding to the window size adjustment operation of a user to perform self-adaptive adjustment of a recording area in the process of performing screen recording on the target recording object. For example, when an operation to increase the size of a target recording object (i.e., increase the occupied screen area) is received, the resolution of a picture that continues to be recorded may be increased.
The operation of adjusting the size of the target recording object is an operation of adjusting the size of the split-screen window determined as the target recording object, for example, the operation may be an operation of dragging a frame of the split-screen window determined as the target recording object, such as stretching and/or shrinking the frame.
As an example, the display data of the target recording object may be acquired in real time as the operation of adjusting the size of the target recording object. As shown in fig. 5, the user adjusts the size of the split-screen window 1 as the target recording object, and when the user starts to drag the frame of the split-screen window 1 and the size of the split-screen window 1 changes in real time, the coordinate information of the frame of the split-screen window 1 can be obtained in real time, so that the surface data can be cut according to the position information of the screen area where the split-screen window 1 is located, so as to obtain the real-time display data of the split-screen window 1, that is, the process of continuously changing the size of the split-screen window 1 can be recorded in real time.
As another example, before the user completes the operation of adjusting the size of the target recording object, the display data of the target recording object may be acquired according to the size of the target recording object before the current operation, and after the user completes the current operation, the display data of the target recording object may be acquired according to the size to which the target recording object is adjusted after the current operation.
Further, as an example, the screen recording method for an electronic terminal according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may further include: and responding to the operation of switching the target recording object, and continuously carrying out screen recording on the switched target recording object to form a continuous and complete screen recording video file.
The operation of switching the target recording object is an operation of reselecting the split screen window as the target recording object so as to change the recording area. For example, an operation of changing a target recording object from one split screen window to another may be performed. For example, as shown in fig. 6, the user may implement an operation of switching a target recording object from the split screen window 1 to the split screen window 2 by long-pressing the REC mark displayed on the split screen window 1 and then selecting the split screen window 2 or dragging the REC mark to the split screen window 2. In addition, the operation of switching the target recording object may also be implemented in other suitable manners, for example, the special window frame for marking the target recording object may be dragged to another split-screen window to be switched to implement the operation of switching the target recording object.
As an example, in the generated screen recording video file, the screen recording data for the target recording object before switching and the screen recording data for the target recording object after switching may be spliced to form a continuous screen. Accordingly, when playing a screen recording video file, a smooth switching effect can be displayed in the process that the screen recording picture corresponding to the target recording object before switching is changed into the screen recording picture corresponding to the target recording object after switching, that is, when generating the screen recording video file, a smooth switching process, for example, adding a switching animation, etc., can be added at the switched node. The switching animation may be any suitable animation, for example, the last frame of screen recording picture of the target recording object before switching may slowly disappear on the first frame of screen recording picture of the target recording object after switching; or the last frame of screen recording picture of the target recording object before switching slowly disappears, and the first frame of screen recording picture of the target recording object after switching is gradually displayed.
The screen recording data for the target recording object before switching is screen recording data obtained by performing screen recording on the target recording object before switching, and the screen recording data for the target recording object after switching is screen recording data obtained by performing screen recording on the target recording object after switching.
By the screen recording method for the electronic terminal according to the exemplary embodiment of the invention, a user can record the content displayed by at least one split screen window and use other split screen windows at the same time, and the other split screen windows cannot be recorded; in addition, the user can conveniently switch the target recording object according to the requirement.
Fig. 7 illustrates a block diagram of a screen recording apparatus for an electronic terminal according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. The electronic terminal displays an interface comprising a plurality of split screen windows.

The screen recording unit 20 is configured to perform screen recording on the target recording object.
As an example, the target recording object determination unit 10 may provide a selection function of selecting a target recording object for the plurality of split-screen windows when an operation of starting the recording function is detected, and determine the at least one split-screen window of the plurality of split-screen windows as the target recording object based on a selection result.
As an example, the target recording object determination unit 10 may highlight a frame of the plurality of split screen windows to prompt the user to select the target recording object by touching the split screen windows.
As an example, the target recording object determination unit 10 may determine a split screen window corresponding to an application selected by the selection operation as the target recording object.
As an example, the screen recording unit 20 may acquire display data of a target recording object according to a position of the target recording object in the screen, and generate a screen recording video file based on the acquired display data of the target recording object.
As an example, the screen recording unit 20 may intercept display data of the target recording object from display data of the full screen based on the position of the target recording object in the screen, and generate a screen recording video file based on the acquired display data of the target recording object.
As an example, the screen recording unit 20 may determine an application corresponding to the target recording object, acquire display data of the target recording object from data of the application, and generate a screen recording video file based on the acquired display data of the target recording object.
As an example, the screen recording unit 20 may generate a display screen of a full screen based on the display data of the full screen, and crop the generated display screen based on the position of the target recording object in the screen to acquire the display data of the target recording object.
As an example, the screen recording unit 20 may continue to perform screen recording on the adjusted target recording object in response to the operation of adjusting the size of the target recording object.
As an example, the screen recording unit 20 may continue to perform screen recording on the switched target recording object in response to an operation of switching the target recording object.
