The present invention relates to terms including:
the insurance person: insurance companies or airline services own channels that provide delayed insurance services.
The policyholder: the people who buy delay insurance when the flight delay happens are passengers generally.
And (3) premium: the applicant pays the insurer.
Flight delay insurance: the method is a commercial insurance behavior that an applicant pays a premium to an insurer according to the flight delay insurance contract stipulation, and the insurer agrees to pay the premium when the flight delay condition agreed by the contract occurs.
The passenger purchases delay insurance before going out, can obtain the claim of insurance company under the condition of meeting the delay, but the claim settlement under traditional line needs to apply for, and the claim settlement procedure is complicated, needs to submit various data, including application form, insurance policy, personal identification, the written certificate of delay time and reason etc. the claim settlement cycle is very long, needs to wait for 10 to 30 working days inequality. Many passengers can not go through a complex claim settlement process for hundreds of dollars, so that the risk delay effect cannot be effectively exerted, and good trip experience is not brought to the passengers.
The delay automatic claim settlement system comprises an underwriting module, a flight claim settlement module, a flight settlement module, a rule engine module, a premium calculation module and six main modules of data statistics and monitoring, wherein the system module structure is shown in figure 1,
the underwriting module is responsible for obtaining information from the partners or owned channels that the user has purchased delay risks or engaged in delay activities. The information comprises flight information of the passenger, such as flight number, flight date, departure airport three-character code, arrival airport three-character code, flight scheduled departure time, flight predicted departure time and the like, identity information of the passenger, such as identity number, name and the like, information of insurance companies and products, such as insurance policy number, product number, insurance starting date, insurance ending date, insurance premium, insurance amount and the like, and the validity of the user flight is verified in the underwriting process, if the user does not purchase a corresponding air ticket, the underwriting fails, and the normal purchase of the air ticket can be successful. The insurance coverage window of the single flight insurance product can be purchased after the airplane is issued. The purchase close window for different products is determined by the insurance facilitator.
The flight claims settlement module is responsible for settlement of underwriting data and comprises two types of trigger conditions, namely event trigger and polling trigger. The event trigger mainly comprises flight cancellation events, flight take-off events or arrival events and refund event change events, wherein one of the three events is a necessary condition for claim settlement, and different services are triggered according to different types of received events to perform subsequent processing on the events. In order to avoid the delay of claim settlement caused by the failure of some trigger events to be received by the claim settlement service module in time, the polling trigger can periodically traverse all the unfinished claim insurance policies which pass through the planned take-off time for two hours, and pay the insurance policies which meet the claim settlement conditions, so as to ensure the real-time performance and the effectiveness of all the insurance policy processing. In order to avoid the problem that the claim cannot be settled due to data delay, the data night dimension module is responsible for carrying out night dimension processing on data which are not settled in the early morning of T +1 and T + 2. And finally giving out the claim settlement result of the insurance policy, whether to carry out the claim, the claim amount, the reason of the claim and the like according to the final state of the flight and the situation of the passenger taking the flight.
The flight settlement module is responsible for pushing the claim settlement result to the partner, if the pushing fails, the claim settlement result is stored in a retransmission table, data is pushed again within a certain time and a certain number of times, and the pushing success rate is improved. If still push and fail will start the alarm tactics, tell the relevant personnel system problem, investigate the system problem until solving. And manually pushing the failed data again after the system is recovered.
The premium calculation module acquires flight delay information of all histories of the flight by using the flight dynamic data, obtains the average delay time of the flight by analyzing and calculating the delay condition of the historical flight, and acquires the premium required to be guaranteed by the user according to the average delay time and the real-time information of the weather, the preorder flight, the expected takeoff time and the like of the current day.
The rule engine module calculates the claim amount according to the claim settlement rule of the insurance product. According to the different flight states of the users, the flight payment delay rule, the flight payment cancellation rule and the payment non-taking rule of the users are included.
According to the above system structure, when the flight is delayed, the automatic claim settlement is started, and as shown in fig. 2, the automatic claim settlement is implemented by the following steps:
step S1: and calculating the passenger flight delay insurance application amount according to the selected flight. The processing procedure is as shown in fig. 3, first, flight delay information of all histories of the flight is obtained; secondly, obtaining the average delay duration and delay rate of the flight through analyzing and calculating the delay condition of the historical flight; and finally, obtaining the premium to be guaranteed by the user according to the average delay time length and the real-time information such as weather, preorder flight, predicted takeoff time and the like. The higher the delay rate of the flight, the longer the average delay duration, the higher the premium required for purchasing the flight, and the bad weather or delay of the preceding flight in the same day, etc., also increases the premium paid by the user.
Step S2: effective underwriting information is obtained for passengers to purchase delay risks or participate in delay activities. The process is as shown in fig. 4, and first, information that the user purchases delay insurance or participates in delay activity is obtained from the partner or own channel. The flight information comprises flight number, flight date, departure airport three-character code, arrival airport three-character code, flight scheduled take-off time, flight predicted take-off time and the like; the passenger identity information comprises information such as an identity card number, a name and the like; the insurance company and product information includes a policy number, a product number, an insurance start date, an insurance end date, a premium amount, and the like. Secondly, when the underwriting validity is verified, if the user does not purchase the corresponding air ticket, the underwriting fails, and the underwriting can be successful under the condition of normally purchasing the air ticket. And finally, outputting effective underwriting information.
Step S3: and automatically obtaining the claim settlement result according to the effective underwriting information. The event trigger mainly consists of flight cancellation, flight departure or arrival and refund events, and one of the three events is a necessary condition for claim settlement.
Step S4: if the claim is determined, the claim amount is calculated by adopting the corresponding claim settlement rule, as shown in fig. 5, including the flight delay claim rule, the flight cancellation claim rule, and the user not taking the claim rule.
Specifically, the flight delay claim rule can support the configuration of the take-off delay and the arrival delay rule according to the product requirements, the take-off delay is the delay time calculated according to the actual take-off time and the planned take-off time, the arrival delay and the like are the delay time calculated according to the actual arrival time and the planned arrival event. According to different delay time calculation modes, the method can be divided into a piecewise step rule, a linear delay rule and a piecewise linear delay rule.
