Description

Display device
Technical Field
The application relates to the field of display equipment, in particular to display equipment.
Background
Currently, when a user wants to view a video of interest on a display device, the display device may be controlled by a remote control device to display a search page that includes a search bar control and a plurality of character controls. Thereafter, a search character selected from the plurality of character controls can be entered in the search bar control via the remote control device to cause the display device to search for the asset based on the search character in the search bar control.
In the related art, a search control is displayed on a display device, and a user can control a cursor of a remote control device to be placed on the search control and perform a selection operation on a confirmation key on the remote control device. At this point, the display device will receive a confirmation instruction for the search plug-in, based on which the display device can display a search page that includes a search bar control and a plurality of character controls. Then, the user can control the cursor of the remote control device to move on the character controls, and a confirmation instruction for the character control corresponding to the current cursor is triggered by performing a selection operation on a confirmation key on the remote control device. When the display device receives a confirmation instruction for the character control corresponding to the current cursor, the character corresponding to the character control corresponding to the current cursor may be displayed in the search bar control.
However, before the display device displays the search page, the user needs to perform a plurality of consecutive selection operations through the direction keys and the confirmation keys on the remote control device to trigger the confirmation instruction for the search control. In this way, after the display device displays the search page, the selection operation for the confirmation key may be continuously executed at a high probability due to the inertial operation of the user, in this scenario, the display device may directly receive a confirmation instruction for a character control corresponding to the current cursor default, and then display the character as a search character in the search bar control, but the search character may be not a character that the user wants to input, so that the user needs to execute another operation to delete the search character, and further the efficiency of the display device in searching for the media asset is reduced.

Next, a method for determining a search character provided in an embodiment of the present application will be described.
Fig. 6 is a flowchart of a method for determining a search character according to an embodiment of the present application, and the method is applied to a display device, which may be the display device 200 shown in fig. 1. As shown in fig. 6, the method comprises the steps of:
step 601: the display device displays a search page in response to receiving the search instruction, the search page including a search bar control and a plurality of character controls.
In the embodiment of the application, if the display device receives a search instruction, a search page can be displayed in response to the search instruction. The search instruction is a confirmation instruction which is triggered by the control device and aims at a search control displayed on the display device. The control device may be a remote control device, a keyboard, or the like that can control the display device.
In some embodiments, after the display device is turned on, a main page may be displayed, the main page including a search control. The control device comprises a direction key and a confirmation key, and when a user performs selection operation aiming at the direction key of the control device so as to enable the position of the selector to correspond to the displayed search control, the selection operation is performed aiming at the confirmation key of the control device. At this time, the display device may receive the search instruction, and thereafter, the display device may display the search page. The selector may be a cursor corresponding to the control device.
In some embodiments, after the display device is turned on, a main page as shown in fig. 7 may be displayed, wherein the main page includes: a search control 701, and a plurality of asset controls, navigation bars, etc. Wherein the navigation bar includes a plurality of channel controls, such as "news," "movie," "kids," etc. In some embodiments, a sub navigation bar may be further included, where the sub navigation bar contains different sub channel controls, such as "refine", "knowledge", "customize", and other sub channel controls, when displaying different channels, so that the sub navigation bar may be displayed on one side of the screen, and after a user enters a specific channel, the user may quickly locate a desired asset through the sub navigation bar. The asset control may include a display control for displaying asset 1 or asset 2, and may also include an operation control for "history record" or "my collection".
In some embodiments, after the display device displays the main page, when the user performs a selection operation on the direction key of the control device, corresponds the position of the selector on the search control 701, and further performs a selection operation on the confirmation key of the control device, the display device may receive a search instruction.
In some embodiments, the search instruction may also be triggered by a preset search key or a voice instruction.
In some embodiments, after the display device receives the search instruction, a search page as shown in fig. 8 may be displayed, wherein the search page includes: a search bar control 801, a multiple character control 802, a history control 803, a hit search control 804, a control 805. The search bar control is used for displaying characters corresponding to virtual keys selected by a user, and the character control is used for displaying characters required to be input by the user. The history control is used for displaying characters searched by a user, the popular search control is used for displaying recommended media asset data, and the control is used for controlling the switching of the virtual keyboard or the characters displayed in the search bar control 801.
In some embodiments, a search instruction containing embedded characters is sent to the server after the characters in the search bar control are changed.
In some embodiments, the search instruction is a confirmation instruction received by the selector at the position of the search control for the search control, the confirmation instruction is a confirmation key value generated by triggering a confirmation key by a remote controller, and the first instruction is a confirmation instruction generated by triggering the confirmation key by the remote controller when the selector is located at the character control. The second instruction may be another instruction generated by the remote controller triggering another key.
Step 602: the display device receives an input first instruction.
The first instruction is a confirmation instruction which is triggered by the control device and aims at a target character control, wherein the target character control is one of the character controls.
It should be noted that after the display device displays the search page, the default position of the selector corresponds to one of the character controls, that is, when the user does not perform a selection operation for the direction key of the control device, the character corresponding to the target character control is the character corresponding to the default position of the selector when the display device starts to display the search page.
In the embodiment of the application, after the display device displays the search page, when the first instruction is received, the current time when the first instruction is received may be determined. Thereafter, the display device may subtract the current time from the time the display device began displaying the search page to obtain a difference between the current time and the time the display device began displaying the search page. The current time may be a time corresponding to a clock system of the display device when the first instruction is received, and in some embodiments, the current time may also be a universal time when the first instruction is received. Based on the time when the page is displayed, the user's intention to input a character pattern or to repeat the command before confirmation can be better distinguished.
It should be noted that the display device may also obtain the time when the search instruction is received, and use the time as the time when the display device starts displaying the search page. In some embodiments, the time when the display device starts to display the search page may be time corresponding to a clock system of the display device when the search instruction is received.
In some embodiments, it is assumed that the clock system of the display device corresponds to 14 hours, 24 minutes, and 16 seconds when the first instruction is received, and the display device starts to display the search page at 14 hours, 24 minutes, and 12 seconds. Thereafter, the display device may subtract the current time from the time when the display device started displaying the search page, thereby obtaining a difference of 4 seconds between the current time and the time when the display device started displaying the search page.
In some embodiments, the time difference value may be a difference between the current time and a preset reference time. In some embodiments, the preset reference time may be a time when a search instruction is received or a time when a search interface is displayed, or may be any time point between the time when the instruction is received and the time when the search interface is displayed.
In some embodiments, if the display device receives a second instruction, the preset operation corresponding to the second instruction is executed, where the second instruction is an instruction other than the instruction for the first instruction.
In this case, when the display device detects a second instruction other than the first instruction, which indicates that the selector is in the default position, the user does not perform the selection operation with respect to the confirmation key of the control device. But rather performs a selection operation for other keys on the control device, such as: direction keys, number keys, etc. At this time, the user is moving the position of the selector, that is, changing the character corresponding to the selector to select the character desired to be input, so that the display device can directly respond to the received second instruction to execute the preset operation corresponding to the second instruction.
In some embodiments, the second instruction may be an instruction other than the first instruction.
In some embodiments, the display device may determine whether the user inputs the first instruction or the second instruction, and then perform the determination of the time difference at the time of the first instruction, and directly respond to the second instruction at the time of the second instruction without performing the determination of the time difference.
In some embodiments, after receiving the instruction, the time difference is determined, when the time difference meets the requirement, the corresponding operation is directly executed, when the time difference does not meet the requirement, whether the instruction is a first instruction or a second instruction is distinguished, if the instruction is the first instruction, the corresponding operation is not executed, and if the instruction is the second instruction, the operation corresponding to the second instruction is executed.
Step 603: and when the difference value between the current time and the time when the display equipment starts to display the search page is longer than the reference response time, the display equipment displays the character corresponding to the target character control on the search bar control.
In the embodiment of the application, after the display device determines the difference between the current time and the time when the display device starts to display the search page, the difference may be compared with the reference response time length, and then whether the character corresponding to the target character control is displayed in the search bar control is determined according to the comparison result.
It should be noted that the display device may obtain the reference response time length before displaying the search page. In this case, before displaying the search page, the display device may obtain the reference response duration from the server and store the reference response duration. Therefore, when the display device is not started for the first time, the reference response time length is stored in the display device, namely the stored reference response time length can be directly obtained.
In some embodiments, the reference response time length may also be determined according to an operation history in which the first character entry is correctly completed after the search interface is displayed in the operation history of the display device. In this case, the display device may record a time difference from when the search page starts to be displayed to when the first character is displayed in the search bar control, that is, a time difference from when the search page starts to be displayed to when the user correctly completes the entry of the first character. In this way, the display device may acquire a preset number of operation histories, determine an average time difference of the plurality of operation histories according to the plurality of operation histories and the preset number, and use the average time difference as a reference response time length.
In this embodiment of the application, when the difference is greater than or equal to the reference response time, it is indicated that a time interval between the current time and the time when the display device starts to display the search page is longer, that is, the time interval between the detection of the first instruction by the display device and the detection of the search instruction is longer, it may be determined that a time interval between the selection operation performed by the user for the search control and the selection operation performed by the user for the target character control is longer. Because the time interval between the inertial operations is usually short, the selection operation performed by the user for the target character control may be performed largely or not due to the inertial operation of the user, that is, the first instruction received by the display device may be triggered largely or not due to the inertial operation of the user, at this time, the character corresponding to the target character control is a character that the user wants to input, and the display device may display the character corresponding to the target character control in the search bar control.
In some embodiments, assuming that the difference is 4s, the reference response time length is 3s, and the character corresponding to the target character control is the character "P", at this time, the display device determines that the difference is greater than the reference response time length, as shown in fig. 9, the character "P" may be displayed in the search bar control.
In addition, after the display device displays the character corresponding to the target character control in the search bar control, if an input third instruction is received, the reference response time length may be updated in response to the third instruction. And the third instruction is a deletion instruction which is triggered by the control device and aims at the target character displayed in the search bar control.
In some embodiments, the display device may replace the reference response time length with the difference value to obtain an updated reference response time length, and store the updated reference response time length.
It should be noted that, since the time interval of the inertial operation of each user is different, even if the difference is greater than or equal to the reference response time period, there is still a possibility that the first instruction received by the display device is triggered by the inertial operation of the user. In this case, when the display device receives the third instruction, which indicates that the first instruction received by the display device is triggered by the inertial operation of the user, it may be determined that the reference response time length is shorter for the time interval of the inertial operation of the user of the display device, so that the reference response time length may be updated to make the reference response time length more suitable for the user of the display device.
In some embodiments, continuing with the example shown in fig. 9, after the display device displays the character "P" in the search bar control, a third instruction is received, at this time, the display device may replace the reference response time length with the difference value, obtain an updated reference response time length of 4s, and store the updated reference response time length.
In other embodiments, a duration threshold is stored in the display device, and at this time, the reference response duration may be added to the duration threshold to obtain an updated reference response duration, and the updated reference response duration is stored.
In some embodiments, the time detection is performed only at the time of displaying the interface, and after the preset time length is exceeded or a second instruction is input by the user, the timing detection is cancelled, and the time difference judgment is not performed any more, so that the user input is directly responded.
In some embodiments, continuing with the foregoing example, the duration threshold is 1s, and after the display device displays the character "P" in the search bar control, the display device receives the third instruction, at this time, the display device may add the duration threshold to the reference response, obtain an updated reference response duration of 4s, and store the updated reference response duration.
In some embodiments, the display device may record a corresponding difference value each time a deletion operation is detected after a target character is displayed in the search bar control. In this case, when the number of the stored plurality of difference values reaches the update threshold, the display apparatus may acquire the stored plurality of difference values to determine the reference response time period based on the plurality of difference values and the update threshold. In some embodiments, an average difference of the plurality of differences may be used as a reference response time length, and optionally, a maximum value of the plurality of differences may also be used as the reference response time length, which is not limited herein.
In some embodiments, in this case, when the user performs a selection operation on the direction key of the control device, corresponds the position of the selector to the deletion control, and further performs a selection operation on the confirmation key of the control device, the display device may receive a third instruction, and delete the target character displayed in the search bar control as shown in fig. 10.
In some embodiments, the confirmation operation of the character control at the default focus position by the user is not responded within the preset response time after the search page is displayed in response to the received search instruction, but other operations are responded, such as a direction key instruction for controlling the movement of the focus, a return instruction for exiting the display interface, a voice key instruction for triggering the voice operation, and the like. After the preset response time length, the display device responds to all input instructions.
In some embodiments, the position of the selector after receiving the instruction needs to be determined, and if the selector is still in the default position, the target character control at the default position is determined to be output or not output in the search bar. If the selector is not at the default position, the display device receives the direction key value, so that the position of the selector is moved, which is different from the previous operation of entering the search interface by the user (the entry into the search interface needs to receive a confirmation operation, in some embodiments, a key corresponding to the confirmation operation is pressed by the corresponding user, such as a confirmation key or an OK key), so that the phenomenon of false triggering does not occur, the confirmation operation can be directly executed, the corresponding character is displayed in the search field, and the search request is triggered to the server. If the selector is still at the default position, the received confirmation operation may be that the user wants to trigger the target character control, that is, the character at the default position is a character that the user needs to input, or may be a false operation that is unintentionally triggered after the confirmation operation is performed after the user confirms that the character enters the search interface, and therefore, the preset response time length is required to be used for limitation.
In some embodiments, after a user receives an instruction, the type of the received instruction can be distinguished, then the preset response time length is judged for the first instruction, and other instructions directly respond; for the first instruction, if the response time length is preset, the first instruction is directly responded, if the response time length is preset, whether the selector is at the default position or not needs to be judged, if the response time length is preset, the search bar is not displayed, and if the response time length is not displayed, the search bar is not displayed.
In some embodiments, after a user receives an instruction, the type of the received instruction can be distinguished, then the position of the selector is judged for the first instruction, and other instructions directly respond; and if the default position is not reached, directly responding, if the default position is within the preset response time length, if the default position is reached, not displaying in the search bar, and if the default position is not reached, displaying in the search bar.
In some embodiments, a user may first determine a preset response duration after receiving an instruction, then distinguish a first instruction from a second instruction within the preset response duration, and then determine a default position for the first instruction, and the second instruction directly responds; if at the default position, is not displayed in the search bar, and if not, is displayed.
In some embodiments, the user may first determine a preset response time after receiving the instruction, directly respond after the preset response time, and then determine the default position within the preset response time; if the position is in the default position, whether the instruction is the first instruction or the second instruction needs to be distinguished, and if the position is not in the default position any more, the instruction is directly responded; the first instruction at the default position is not displayed in the search bar and the second instruction at the default position is responded.
In some embodiments, the user may first determine the default position after receiving the instruction, determine the preset response time length at the default position, and directly respond when the position is not defaulted; if the response time length is within the preset response time length, the first instruction and the second instruction need to be distinguished, and if the response time length is within the preset response time length, the instruction response is directly carried out; the distinguished first instruction is not displayed in the search bar, and the distinguished second instruction directly responds.
In some embodiments, the user may determine the default position after receiving the instruction, distinguish the first instruction from the second instruction at the default position, and directly respond when the user does not have the default position; the distinguished second instruction directly responds, and the distinguished first instruction needs to judge the preset response time; if the response time is preset, directly responding to the instruction; if the response time is within the preset response time, the search bar is not displayed.
In some embodiments, the preset response time period may be a preconfigured time period. The generation may be automatic or may be manually configured.
Step 604: and when the difference is smaller than the reference response time length, the display equipment does not display the character corresponding to the target character control in the search bar control.
In some embodiments, whether the character corresponding to the target character control is displayed in the search bar control can be determined according to the difference value and the reference response time length. In this case, when the difference is smaller than the reference response time, it is not necessary to determine the character corresponding to the target character control, that is, no matter whether the character corresponding to the target character control is the character corresponding to the default position of the selector when the display device starts to display the search page, the character corresponding to the target character control is not displayed in the search bar control.
In some embodiments, in other embodiments, whether to display the character corresponding to the target character control in the search bar control may be determined according to the difference value, the reference response time length, and the character corresponding to the target character control. In this case, when the difference is smaller than the reference response time, it may be further determined whether the character corresponding to the target character control is the corresponding character at the default position of the selector when the display device starts displaying the search page.
And when the difference is less than the reference response time length and the character corresponding to the target character control is the character corresponding to the default position of the selector when the display equipment starts to display the search page, not displaying the character corresponding to the target character control in the search bar control. And when the difference is less than the reference response time length and the character corresponding to the target character control is not the character corresponding to the default position of the selector when the display equipment starts to display the search page, displaying the character corresponding to the target character control in the search bar control.
When the difference is smaller than the reference response time, it is indicated that the time interval between the current time and the time when the display device starts to display the search page is short, that is, the time interval between the display device detecting the first instruction and the search instruction is short, and at this time, the character corresponding to the target character control may be determined. When the character corresponding to the target character control is the character corresponding to the default position of the selector when the search page starts to be displayed, the selection operation performed by the user on the search control can be determined, and the time interval between the selection operation performed by the user on the target character control and the selection operation performed by the user on the target character control is short. In this way, the selection operation performed by the user for the target character control may be performed due to the inertial operation of the user, that is, the first instruction received by the display device is triggered due to the inertial operation of the user, and the character corresponding to the target character control may not be the character that the user wants to input, so the display device may not display the character corresponding to the target character control in the search bar control.
When the character corresponding to the target character control is not the character corresponding to the default position of the selector when the search page starts to be displayed, it can be determined that after the search page is displayed on the display device, the user moves the position of the selector, so that the character corresponding to the position of the selector is the character which the user wants to input, and thus the character corresponding to the target character control is the character which the user wants to input.
As an example, the following description will fully describe the method for determining search characters provided in the embodiments of the present application, applied to a display device.
As shown in fig. 11, when the display device is first started, a reference response duration obtaining request may be sent to the server, and after receiving the reference response duration obtaining request, the server may send the reference response duration to the display device. After receiving the reference response time returned by the server, the display device may store the reference response time in the local, and then, before displaying the search page, the display device may obtain the stored reference response time from the local. In some embodiments, the display device may further obtain an operation history in which the first character entry is correctly completed after the search interface is displayed in the operation history of the display device, and then determine the reference response time according to the operation history.
The display device may display a main page after being started, the main page including a search control. The user can move the position of the selector to the search control by executing selection operation on the direction key of the control device, and then the selection operation is executed aiming at the confirmation key of the control device, at this time, the display device can receive the search instruction, respond to the search instruction to display a search page, record the time of receiving the search instruction, and take the time as the time for starting to display the search page, wherein the search page comprises a search bar control and a plurality of character controls.
After the search page is displayed, if the display device receives a first instruction, that is, a confirmation instruction for a target character control triggered by the user through the control device, where the target character control is one of the character controls. At this time, the display device may determine a current time, determine a difference between the current time and a time for starting to display the search page, determine a character corresponding to the target character control when the difference is smaller than a reference response time, if the character corresponding to the target character control is a character corresponding to a default position of the selector when the display device starts to display the search page, not display the character corresponding to the target character control in the search bar control, and if the character corresponding to the target character control is not a character corresponding to a default position of the selector when the display device starts to display the search page, display the character corresponding to the target character control in the search bar control.
And when the difference is larger than or equal to the reference response duration, the display equipment responds to the first instruction at this time, namely, the character corresponding to the target character control is displayed in the search bar control. Then, if the display device receives the third instruction, that is, a deletion instruction for the target character displayed in the search bar control triggered by the user through the control device is received, the display device may update the reference response time length stored locally, and delete the target character displayed in the search bar control.
When the user performs a selection operation for the exit key of the control device, the display device may receive the exit instruction and display the main page in response to the exit instruction, or when the user performs a selection operation for the shutdown key of the control device, the display device may receive the shutdown instruction and perform shutdown in response to the shutdown instruction. In this case, when the display device receives the search instruction, the search page may be displayed in response to the search instruction, and before displaying the search page, the stored reference response time length may be locally obtained, and then, it may be determined whether to display the character corresponding to the target character control in the search bar control by referring to the foregoing method.
For the detailed implementation of fig. 11, reference may be made to the implementation of step 601 to step 603, which is not described herein again.
In the embodiment of the application, after receiving the first instruction for the target character control, a difference between the current time and the time for starting to display the search page may be determined, when the difference is smaller than the reference response duration, the character corresponding to the target character control is not displayed in the search bar control, and when the difference is larger than the reference response duration, the character corresponding to the target character control is displayed in the search bar control. Therefore, when a first instruction triggered by inertial operation of a user is detected, the character corresponding to the default position of the selector when the search page is started to be displayed is prevented from being displayed in the search bar control, so that the user is prevented from executing other operations to delete the character, and the efficiency of the user for searching media assets through the display equipment is improved. And after the characters corresponding to the target character control are displayed in the search bar control, when a deleting instruction aiming at the displayed target characters is received, the reference response time length can be updated, so that the reference response time length is more suitable for the user of the display equipment, the characters which the user wants to input can be displayed more accurately, and the efficiency of searching the media assets through the display equipment by the user is further improved.
It will be understood by those skilled in the art that all or part of the steps for implementing the above embodiments may be implemented by hardware, or may be implemented by a program instructing relevant hardware, where the program may be stored in a computer-readable storage medium, and the above-mentioned storage medium may be a read-only memory, a magnetic disk or an optical disk, etc.
The above description is only exemplary of the present application and should not be taken as limiting, as any modification, equivalent replacement, or improvement made within the spirit and principle of the present application should be included in the protection scope of the present application.
