Detailed Description
In order to further understand the objects, technical features and effects of the present invention, the following embodiments are described in detail.
When a barcode scanning device is used to scan a barcode, since each scanning device has a rated scanning distance and a window size, and compared with a conventional laser scanning device, the image barcode scanning device using an image sensor can decode many types of barcodes, for example, it can rapidly scan and decode two-dimensional codes of various code systems and various forms, and thus, the current image barcode scanning device is a mainstream decoding device. The image capturing range of the image sensors with different specifications, namely the range for capturing clear images, is limited by the imaging distance and the window size of the equipment, so that the bar code reading method of the invention can be used in two situations during actual work, namely, all the bar codes to be read are in the imaging range, namely the scanning range of the equipment; in addition, the barcodes are more or distributed dispersedly, all the barcodes can not be captured through one image, the scanning window position needs to be moved, two or more images are captured, and then all the barcodes can be scanned and read.
In addition, almost all the barcode scanning devices can only read one barcode at a time, for example, only one barcode can be read by pressing a scanning trigger button, which is the most frequently used state of the barcode scanning device, so that an additional scheme design is needed for a method for simultaneously reading a plurality of barcodes at a time.
Specifically, the present invention adopts different embodiments to solve the above two cases. In one embodiment of the present invention, a method for reading a plurality of barcodes at one time comprises the following steps:
step S1: scanning setting, namely setting a bar code scanning mode of equipment before starting bar code scanning, selecting a plurality of codes to read simultaneously and setting the number of the simultaneously read bar codes; exiting after the setting is finished, and returning to the working standby state; when the bar code reading device is applied specifically, a user can flexibly set the number of the bar codes needing to be read at one time according to the size and the arrangement density of the bar codes and the size of an equipment window;
step S2: starting scanning, wherein the equipment receives a control action of a user and starts a code scanning engine (or called a code scanning module) which comprises a lighting part and an aiming part;
step S3: the user presses the scanning trigger button to aim the aiming light (such as aiming spots, aiming lines, aiming frames or other aiming light patterns) emitted by the aiming part at the bar codes to be scanned one by one, and the trigger button is kept in a working state (namely a pressed state) all the time during the period; the equipment decoding library reads the bar codes one by one;
step S4: outputting a bar code scanning result: the user releases the trigger button, the decoding library judges the number of the resolved bar codes, if the number of the read bar codes is less than the number of the bar codes which are set and read simultaneously in the step S1, the result is not output, and the system reports an error; if the number of barcodes is equal to or greater than the number of simultaneously read barcodes set in step S1, barcode information is output, the number of which is the same as the number of simultaneously read barcodes set in step S1.
The above embodiment is suitable for the case that the number of the bar codes to be scanned is small, and the bar codes with the set number can be scanned by one operation (one trigger button); for the scanning of more barcodes, after the completion of step S4, steps S2 to S4 may be repeated again, in which case, there may be a phenomenon that the barcode is repeatedly scanned, and therefore, in this case, the method for reading multiple barcodes at one time further includes the step of automatically searching and deleting the repeated barcode information by the scanning device before outputting the barcode scanning result in step S4.
The above embodiment uses a "one-step, one-by-one scanning" method, and for a case where there are many barcodes to be scanned, for example, when there are multiple barcodes in a window of a barcode scanning device with clear imaging (for example, the barcodes are small and densely arranged), the efficiency of the method is somewhat low, and for such a case, the present invention provides another scanning method, which includes the following steps:
step S1: scanning setting, namely setting a bar code scanning mode of equipment before starting bar code scanning, selecting a plurality of codes to read simultaneously and setting the number of the simultaneously read bar codes; exiting after the setting is finished, and returning to the working standby state;
step S2: starting scanning, wherein the equipment receives a control action of a user and starts a code scanning engine (or called a code scanning module) which comprises a lighting part and an aiming part;
step S3: the user determines the range covered by the window by aiming light (such as an aiming spot, an aiming line, an aiming frame or other aiming light patterns which are generally positioned in the middle or at four corners of the window) emitted by the aiming part, presses a scanning trigger button, an image sensor of a code scanning engine acquires a bar code image, and if the number of the bar codes in the image is less than the number of the bar codes which are set and read simultaneously in the step S1, the system reports an error and does not perform decoding action; if the number of the bar codes is equal to or more than the number of the bar codes which are set in the step S1 and read simultaneously, the equipment decoding library executes decoding work, and the number of the decoded bar codes is the number of the decoded bar codes set in the step S1; then the user moves the position of the window to read the bar code information in the next window range until all the bar codes are read; in this step, in order to avoid missing bar code scanning, the user can make the position of the next window partially overlap with the position of the previous window when moving the position of the window;
step S4: outputting a bar code scanning result: when the user releases the trigger button, the scanning device automatically searches the repeated bar code information and deletes the repeated bar codes in the repeated bar code information, and then all decoding results are output simultaneously.
When a user needs to return to a traditional working mode that a single bar code is scanned one by one, the user only needs to switch the scanning setting into a mode that only one bar code is read at a time.
The technical scheme of the invention provides a simple and universal method for reading a plurality of bar codes at one time aiming at the specific situation of the plurality of bar codes needing to be read simultaneously, solves the problem that only one bar code is scanned by manual operation in the prior art, enables the scanning of a plurality of bar codes to be more convenient and faster, greatly improves the code scanning efficiency, improves the user experience degree and ensures the code scanning accuracy.
The present invention has been described in relation to the above embodiments, which are only exemplary of the implementation of the present invention. It should be noted that the disclosed embodiments do not limit the scope of the invention. Rather, it is intended that all such modifications and variations be included within the spirit and scope of this invention.
