The invention provides a portable electronic device and a prompt control method thereof, wherein the portable electronic device comprises: the human body induction sensor is used for identifying whether a user is in a preset distance range or not and outputting identification information; the processing unit is electrically connected with the human body induction sensor and is used for receiving the identification information and outputting prompt information according to the identification information; and the prompting unit is electrically connected with the processing unit and is used for receiving the prompting information and outputting a prompt according to the prompting information. According to the portable electronic device, the relative position relation between the portable electronic device and a user is identified through the human body induction sensor, so that the portable electronic device is automatically switched into different prompting modes, and only vibration prompting is carried out when the portable electronic device is close to the user; when the portable electronic device is far away from the user, only the ringing prompt is given. Background
At present, with the popularization and deep application of the mobile internet, mobile intelligent electronic devices with communication functions, including mobile phones, smart phones, personal digital assistants, mobile barcode scanning devices and the like, are widely applied in many fields, and these portable electronic devices with communication functions prompt users when receiving phone calls, short messages, push information of mobile phone applications and the like in the using process. Common prompting methods include: the user can select one of the prompting modes or the combination thereof for prompting according to the requirements of different occasions.
For example, as a most commonly used prompting method, after receiving a phone call, a short message, a push message, etc., the device often prompts the user by a vibration and ringing method. The prompting mode takes into account the situations that the equipment is far from a user and whether the equipment is carried about or not, and can ensure that the user can obtain incoming call information and the like in time, but the commonly applied default setting also has obvious defects, namely, the electric quantity of the equipment can be consumed in an accelerated manner, and as the current intelligent mobile equipment has more and more functions, the reasonable electric quantity saving is one of key factors for ensuring the continuous and smooth operation of the equipment; therefore, when a user places the mobile equipment at a position close to the body side or carries the mobile equipment on the body, the mobile equipment can be quickly perceived by the user only by vibration; when the equipment is far away from the user, the vibration is a redundant prompting mode, and only the ringing is needed.
