Description
Technical Field
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a policy control method, apparatus, device, and computer-readable storage medium.
Background
In order to achieve the objectives of differentiated Service capability, resource grooming capability, network traffic optimization capability, etc., according to the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3 GPP) standard specification, a Policy and Charging Control (PCC) system architecture is introduced into the existing packet network to perform QoS (Quality of Service) Control on packet data services.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a PCC architecture. The main network elements of the PCC architecture include PCRF (Policy and Charging Rules Function), PCEF (Policy and Charging implementation Function), AF (Application Function), OCS/OFCS (Online Charging System/Offline Charging System), and SPR (Subscription Profile Repository). Wherein:
(1) PCRF: with policy control decision making and flow-based charging control functionality, the PCEF is provided with network control functions with respect to traffic data flow detection, gating, QoS-based and flow-based charging (except credit control).
(2) A PCEF: the charging function responsible for detecting service data flow, executing policy and based on flow is generally set on GGSN (Gateway GPRS Support Node) or P-GW (PDN Gateway).
(3) AF: the dynamic policy/charging control is mainly carried out on the user plane behavior of an IP-CAN (IP-Connectivity Access Network) and is arranged on a service platform.
(4) SPR: the service server is a logical entity and is used for storing information related to all subscribers or subscriptions, including services allowed by the subscribers and the like.
(5) OCS/OFCS: for online/offline charging.
The 5G network is similar to the 4G PCC network, and the 5G adopts a service mode to design network elements and interfaces among the network elements.
At present, Policy Control is enabled by all defaults in the 5G network, where AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function) may choose whether to interact with PCF (Policy Control Function) based on operator configuration, so as to enable AMF Policy Control and UE (User Equipment) Policy Control.
Therefore, this strategy control approach is not flexible.
