Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of server system management, and in particular, to an information management method, system and related components for a universal server.
Background
Currently, a resource server (also called a Box server, abbreviated as Box) exists, which only includes computing components such as a GPU, etc., and serves as a resource pool of a general server (also called a Host server, abbreviated as Host). The resource server generally has no network service, and the universal server and the resource server communicate in an I2C mode. The problems of asymmetric information between the universal server and the resource server and non-communication between the universal servers can cause a plurality of problems: the user of the universal server can not obtain the information of other universal servers using a certain resource server, and the user experience is poor; the resource server side cannot display all the connected general server information, and the confusion of users is increased; in the process of upgrading the resource server by the universal server side, a plurality of universal servers can upgrade the BMC of the resource server, when one universal server is upgraded, the I2c service of the resource server is suspended, and when other universal servers cannot acquire the upgrade state and all information, an error is reported.
Therefore, how to provide a solution to the above technical problems is a problem to be solved by those skilled in the art.
