Fig. 1 is a schematic cross-sectional structure diagram of a display module according to an embodiment of the present invention in a bent state, where the display module includes a display panel 10, the display panel 10 may be an OLED display panel, and the display panel 10 includes a display area 1, a binding area 2, and a bending area 3 disposed in the display area 1 and the binding area 2; the display panel 10 is provided with a first adhesive 20 corresponding to the tail end of the binding region 2, and is used for connecting the display region 1 and the binding region 2, wherein a hollow region 4 is formed between the first adhesive 20 and the display panel 10, and the hollow region 4 at least corresponds to the bending region 3.
It is understood that when the first adhesive backing 20 covers the bonding area 2, the hollow area 4 refers to an area corresponding to only the bending area 3; when the first adhesive backing 20 only covers part of the bonding area 2, the hollow area 4 refers to an area corresponding to the bending area 3 and the remaining bonding area 2 not covered by the first adhesive backing 20.
The inner surface of the display panel 10 is further provided with a supporting structure 30, at least part of the supporting structure 30 is fully distributed in the hollow area 4 corresponding to the bending area 3, and can support and fix the shape of the bending area 3, so that the bending area 3 reaches and keeps a required angle, and the bending area 3 is prevented from deforming under the condition of external force.
Specifically, fig. 2 is a schematic cross-sectional structure view of a display module set in a flat state according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the supporting structure 30 includes a second adhesive 301 and a plurality of supporting plates 302 located on the second adhesive 301, where the second adhesive 301 is disposed on an inner surface of the display panel 10, and the supporting plates 302 are located on a side of the second adhesive 301 away from the display panel 10.
A plurality of the support plates 302 are arranged along the width direction of the display panel 10, and the cross-sectional shape of the support plates 302 may be a zigzag shape, a square shape or a curved shape; preferably, in order to closely attach the plurality of support plates 302 to form a whole so as to fully cover the hollow regions 4 corresponding to the bending regions 3, in an embodiment of the present invention, the cross-sectional shape of the support plates 302 is zigzag, so that the side surfaces of two adjacent support plates 302 located in the bending regions 3 are attached to each other to form a cylinder, thereby filling the hollow regions 4 corresponding to the bending regions 3, avoiding deformation when the bending regions 3 of the display panel 10 are subjected to an external force, and further improving the shape stability of the bending regions 3; meanwhile, the risk that metal wires in the bending area 3 are broken can be reduced, and the service life of the display module is prolonged.
Specifically, the cross-sectional shape of the support plate 302 is an isosceles triangle; each of the support plates 302 is the same size; the supporting plates 302 are uniformly arranged on the second back adhesive 301, and no space exists between every two adjacent supporting plates 302; in one embodiment, the apex angle of the isosceles triangle may be 45 degrees, and it is understood that the number of the support plates 302 located at the bending region 3 is 4 in this case; in other embodiments, the vertex angle of the isosceles triangle may be 60 degrees, and in this case, the number of the supporting plates 302 located at the bending region 3 is 3.
Further, the sum of the widths of the plurality of support plates 302 located in the bending region 3 is equal to the length of the display panel located in the bending region 3, and the length of the display panel 10 located in the bending region 3 depends on the required bending angle, so that for different types of display modules, the number, the vertex angle, and the width of the support plates 302 located in the bending region 3 should be designed according to the required bending angle. Of course, the shape of the supporting plate 302 may also include other situations, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited thereto.
Further, the supporting plates 302 may also be disposed in the display area 1 and the binding area 2, and are respectively used for supporting the display panel 10 in the display area 1 and the binding area 2, it can be understood that in the embodiment of the present invention, the supporting plates 302 are used to replace a back plate in an existing display module, so that the assembly efficiency of the display module can be improved.
Specifically, the thickness of the support structure 30 at the display area 1 and the binding area 2 is smaller than the height of the hollow area 4.
In particular, the material of the support plate 302 may be a flexible polyester, such as rubber.
Specifically, the first adhesive tape 20 and the second adhesive tape 301 are both double-sided adhesive tapes, for example, the first adhesive tape 20 and the second adhesive tape 301 are made of a bubble surface or PET material with double-sided adhesive, which enables the display panel 10 to be located between two surfaces of the display area 1 and the bonding area 2, and the support plate 302 and the display panel 10 to maintain effective fixed connection; the thickness of the first adhesive backing 20 is greater than the thickness of the second adhesive backing 301 to reserve sufficient space for the support structure 30 to be disposed.

3. The display module assembly according to claim 2, wherein the support plates have a saw-toothed cross section, and the side surfaces of two adjacent support plates located in the bending region are attached to each other to fully cover the hollow region corresponding to the bending region.

5. The display module of claim 3, wherein each of the support plates is the same size.

7. The display module assembly of claim 2, wherein the material of the supporting plate is flexible polyester.
