Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic flowchart of an embodiment of a method for iterating a firmware upgrade scheme of a device according to the present invention, where the method includes:
step S11: it is determined whether a release firmware package and a new identification firmware package scheme are received.
Wherein, the original scheme for identifying the firmware package is configured in the device.
The device can be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) or a vehicle-mounted computer, and the new firmware package identification scheme can be a plug-in or an APP.
The device upgrade may be performed after downloading the firmware package data, specifically, taking a mobile phone as an example: the user manually clicks downloading and upgrading, or equipment automatically downloads and upgrades. Of course, the device upgrade may also be triggered to download firmware package data, for example, a mobile phone timing reminder or a factory-issued message reminder to accept the update request, and the user clicks on the upgrade.
In a specific embodiment, the new identification firmware package solution includes a new feature identification solution, wherein the new feature identification solution can identify the next identification firmware package solution after the upgrade is successful and the identification firmware package solution is replaced, and of course, the new identification firmware package solution may not include the new feature identification solution.
For example, if the customer sets the automatic mode, the manufacturer releases the firmware package data, the device automatically downloads the corresponding firmware package data, and after the downloading is completed, whether the released firmware package and a new firmware package identification scheme are received or not is judged.
For different manufacturers, the form of the firmware package data is different, for example, some manufacturers combine a new feature recognition scheme with a release firmware package to form a package, and package the package into the firmware package data; other manufacturers have formed the new signature scheme and release firmware package in two packages in the firmware package data. Thus, in determining whether a release firmware package and a new identification firmware package scheme are received, it is possible to: when two packages are divided, a user finds that a manufacturer issues a new identification firmware package scheme, downloads the new identification firmware package scheme and then downloads a release firmware package; or after downloading the release firmware package, judging that the upgrading can be successful only by the new scheme of identifying the firmware package, and downloading the new scheme of identifying the firmware package; and if the firmware package is one package, judging whether a new firmware package identification scheme is received while the release firmware package is received.
Specifically, after the trigger device is upgraded, the device receives firmware package data from a publisher, identifies the firmware package data by using an original firmware package identification scheme, judges whether a new firmware package identification scheme exists in the firmware package data, and if the new firmware package identification scheme exists, determines that the new firmware package identification scheme is received.
In one embodiment, a new identification firmware package scheme is embedded into the release firmware package, and when the device receives the release firmware package, the device determines whether the format, the identification and the fixed length of the release firmware package are different from those of the original firmware package, and if so, the device may determine that the new identification fixed package scheme exists. In another embodiment, the apparatus directly determines that there is a new identifying firmware package scheme whenever firmware package data is found. In other embodiments, whether the firmware package identification scheme is new may also be determined by determining whether the firmware package data has an identifier corresponding to the new firmware package identification scheme, such as some additional fields or some special characters, suffixes, and the like. Without limitation, the identification condition may be set by the publisher.
In other embodiments, the new firmware package solution and the release firmware are provided as two separate packages, and when the upgrade message issued by the manufacturer is used for reminding, the new firmware package solution is downloaded and the release firmware is released.
Step S12: and if the release firmware package and the new identification firmware package scheme are received, identifying the release firmware package according to the new identification firmware package scheme, and if the identification is successful, upgrading by using the release firmware package.
Taking a mobile phone as an example, the identification mode may be an identification mode recognized by the smart device, or a special identification mode and integrity identification set by the mobile phone issuer when the mobile phone is customized, or a specific identification mode of a certain software or system company, which is not limited herein. And identifying the released firmware package by using the new identification firmware package scheme so as to verify whether the new identification firmware package scheme is correct.
Under some conditions, the upgrading message issued by the manufacturer reminds the equipment to automatically download the firmware package of the release edition, the equipment may firstly identify the firmware package of the release edition, when the firmware package is found to be unsuccessfully identified by the original identification logic, the equipment reminds the user to search for a new identification firmware package scheme, the user downloads the new identification firmware package scheme, the new identification firmware package scheme is identified through the original characteristic identification scheme of the equipment, and the new identification firmware package scheme also identifies the firmware package of the release edition. And if the identification is successful, upgrading through the release firmware package.
Further, referring to fig. 3, the present step S12 includes the following sub-steps:
step 121: and if a new identification firmware package scheme is received, performing feature identification on the new identification firmware package scheme.
The feature identification scheme may be embedded within the handset device separately from the firmware package data or may be included within the identification firmware package scheme. Also taking a mobile phone as an example: in one embodiment, the mobile phone determines that the firmware package data contains a new firmware package identification scheme, performs feature identification on the new firmware package identification scheme by using the original feature identification scheme of the mobile phone, and determines whether the new firmware package identification scheme of the mobile phone can be identified by the mobile phone.
In one embodiment, the feature recognition in the original feature recognition scheme may be matching recognition on the most basic signature value, fixed data format value, and the like.
In an embodiment, when it is determined that a new firmware package identification scheme exists in the release firmware package, the firmware package identification scheme inside the device is directly discarded. Of course, the firmware package may be discarded after being upgraded, or may be discarded when other situations occur, which is not limited herein.
Step S122: and if the identification is successful, identifying the released firmware package according to the new firmware package identification scheme.
If the characteristics in the original characteristic identification scheme, such as the signature value, the fixed data format value and the like, are matched with the signature value, the fixed data format value and the like of the new firmware package scheme, the scheme identification success of the new firmware package identification is determined, and the availability of the new firmware package is preliminarily determined.
And then, carrying out feature identification on the released firmware package by using a new firmware package identification scheme. Of course, the identification method may be to identify a signature value, a fixed data format value, etc. of the firmware package, or may be to identify some special formats and special location identifiers. And are not limited herein. And identifying the released firmware package by using the new identification firmware package scheme so as to verify whether the new identification firmware package scheme is correct.
In one embodiment, the new scheme for identifying firmware packages includes a new feature identification scheme.
Wherein, step S122 further includes: if the identification is successful, judging whether the new identification firmware packet scheme is consistent with the original identification firmware packet scheme of the equipment; if not, the device discards the original firmware packet scheme.
Specifically, in order to ensure the correctness of the new firmware package identification scheme, when the new firmware package identification scheme is determined to be inconsistent with the original firmware package identification scheme of the device, the new firmware package identification scheme is further required to identify the release firmware package, and after the identification verification is passed, the original firmware package identification scheme of the device can be discarded. Certainly, after the identification verification is passed, the firmware package can be used for upgrading, then a new identification firmware package scheme is replaced, and then the original identification firmware package scheme is discarded; or after the identification verification is passed, the original identification firmware package scheme can be replaced by the new identification firmware package scheme, and then the firmware package is upgraded. And are not limited herein.
Whether the new identification firmware package scheme is consistent with the original identification firmware package scheme or not is judged, and the comparison can be performed on part of contents preset by the equipment and part of contents of the new identification firmware package scheme, or the comparison can be performed on all the contents, or the comparison can be performed on a special identifier and the like.
Step S13: and after the upgrade is successful, replacing the original scheme of the identification firmware package of the equipment with a new scheme of the identification firmware package.
Wherein, the new identification firmware package scheme is different from the original identification firmware package scheme of the equipment.
After the firmware package is upgraded, the new firmware package identification scheme iterates the original firmware package identification scheme of the equipment, and because the new firmware package identification scheme comprises the new feature identification scheme, the new feature identification scheme also iterates the original feature identification scheme of the equipment, so that the subsequent upgrade is identified according to the new feature identification scheme in the new firmware package scheme.
In one embodiment, the device replaces the feature identification scheme, such as signature values, fixed data format values, etc., with a new feature identification scheme, such as hash values, states, etc., to provide a better identification. Meanwhile, the new feature identification scheme needs to check the release firmware package to judge the feasibility of the new identification firmware package scheme, and meanwhile, whether the new release firmware package is the firmware package which needs to be installed or not can be judged.
Further, after step S11, step S12 may further include: and if the firmware package of the release version is judged not to conform to the new identification firmware package scheme, identifying the firmware package scheme of the release version according to the original identification firmware package scheme of the equipment.
In some cases, the firmware package is identified by the scheme of identifying the firmware package originally arranged in the equipment without replacing the characteristic identification scheme, and whether the release firmware package meets the requirement of the equipment is judged.
Further, if the identification is successful, the firmware package is upgraded. If the upgrade fails, the upgrade is finished.
In other embodiments, step S12 may further be: and if the firmware package of the release version is judged not to conform to the new scheme of the identification firmware package, refusing to upgrade.
The released firmware package may have some risky firmware packages or maliciously sent firmware packages, and the user or the manufacturer may set the scheme of refusing the upgrade on the device until a new scheme for identifying the firmware package exists.
In this embodiment, based on the new firmware package identification scheme, the feature identification scheme and the firmware package identification scheme in the device are iterated through the identification of the feature identification scheme and the identification of the new firmware package identification scheme, so as to form a new identification scheme, which is better adapted to or replaces the original use environment.
Referring to fig. 2, which is a schematic structural diagram of another embodiment of the method for iterating the device firmware upgrade scheme according to the present invention, it should be noted that the embodiment of the present invention can perform the steps in the above method, and for a detailed description of related contents, refer to the above method section, which is not described in detail herein.
Step S21: a new identification firmware package scheme is generated that the device can recognize.
Wherein the new identification firmware package scheme is different from the original identification firmware package scheme of the equipment;
in the equipment upgrading process, the original identification scheme is found to have defects or the service requirement needs to be changed, a manufacturer thinks of a solution aiming at the condition that the original identification scheme has defects or the service requirement needs to be changed, and based on the solution, relevant new identification logic is formulated and planned and integrated into a new identification firmware package scheme.
However, the new identification firmware package scheme is not necessarily recognized by the device, so that the new identification firmware package scheme is subjected to feature processing in a feature mode which can be recognized by the device according to the requirements of the original feature recognition scheme in the device to form the new identification firmware package scheme which can be recognized by the device. And comparing the basic mode, for example, performing a series of operations of extracting, encoding, modulating, interleaving and the like on the new identification firmware packet scheme, so that the user equipment can identify the new identification firmware packet scheme and transmit the new identification firmware packet scheme.
In a specific embodiment, the feature recognition scheme in the device is to perform matching recognition on a signature value, a fixed data format value and the like, but a manufacturer feels that the feature recognition scheme is too simple or has a bug, so that a new idea is formed, and the original feature recognition scheme is processed to form a new feature recognition scheme. I.e. the new signature recognition scheme is different from the original signature recognition scheme of the device. In some cases, the feature identification scheme may be embedded in a new identification firmware package scheme during device production, which is then different from the device's original identification firmware package scheme.
Step S22: and combining the new identification firmware package scheme and the release firmware package to form firmware package data.
And processing the firmware package needing to be upgraded based on the new firmware package identification scheme, and generating a new firmware package capable of being installed and operated, namely a release firmware package. Under other conditions, the firmware package does not need to be upgraded, only in order to iterate the feature recognition mode on the equipment, only the new feature recognition scheme is embedded into the new recognition firmware package scheme and is subjected to feature recognition processing, the equipment directly iterates the recognition firmware package scheme under the condition of successful recognition, and the next upgrade of the firmware package is subjected to logic processing according to the new recognition firmware package scheme.
Further, referring to fig. 4, step S22 includes:
step S221: and performing characteristic processing on the new identification firmware packet scheme to enable the new identification firmware packet scheme after the characteristic processing to be identified by the original characteristic identification scheme of the equipment.
In some embodiments, the feature recognition scheme is embedded in the recognition firmware package scheme, and the new recognition firmware package scheme is directly recognized by the original feature recognition scheme.
Step S222: and combining the new identification firmware package scheme subjected to the characteristic processing with the release firmware package to form firmware package data.
The new identification firmware package scheme and the release firmware package are combined in a form predetermined by the device. For example, the packet may be divided into two packets for combination, or a packet may be generated according to a fixed format, or may be embedded in a predetermined location of the firmware packet. Firmware packet data may also be encrypted in some embodiments.
Step S23: the firmware package data is distributed.
And the manufacturer releases and uploads the finally formed firmware package data and reminds a user that a new firmware package exists.
In this embodiment, a new identification firmware package scheme and a release firmware package are generated by using a new identification logic, and after the firmware package is upgraded, the new identification firmware package scheme is iterated on the device, and meanwhile, the feature identification scheme is iterated. To ensure that later upgrades can continue.
