It should also be understood that the term "and/or" as used herein refers to and encompasses any and all possible combinations of one or more of the associated listed items.
It is to be understood that although the terms first, second, third, etc. may be used herein to describe various information, such information should not be limited to these terms. These terms are only used to distinguish one type of information from another. For example, first information may also be referred to as second information, and similarly, second information may also be referred to as first information, without departing from the scope of the present application. The word "if" as used herein may be interpreted as "at … …" or "when … …" or "in response to a determination", depending on the context.
Referring to fig. 1, a flowchart of an embodiment of a method for recording a packet forwarding process according to an exemplary embodiment of the present application is shown, where the method includes the following steps:
step 101: after receiving the message to be forwarded, checking whether the message meets the set monitoring condition and forwarding the message according to the corresponding forwarding flow.
First, in the embodiment of the present application, the monitoring condition may be preconfigured in the network device by the user through the command line. As one example, the monitored conditions may include one or more of: monitoring all received messages, monitoring messages according to an IP address (a source IP address and/or a destination IP address), monitoring messages according to a port (a source port and/or a destination port), monitoring messages according to a protocol (an IPv6 protocol, an ARP protocol and the like), monitoring messages according to a VLAN to which the monitoring messages belong and the like.
In this embodiment, after receiving a message to be forwarded, a network device may check whether the message satisfies a set monitoring condition, and forward the message according to a corresponding forwarding flow.
Step 102: and if the message meets the set monitoring condition, storing the forwarding information of the message in the forwarding process into a preset storage structure for recording the message forwarding process according to the receiving sequence of the message.
In this embodiment of the present application, when it is checked that the packet meets the set monitoring condition by performing step 101, the forwarding information of the packet in the forwarding flow may be stored in a preset storage structure for recording the packet forwarding flow according to the receiving sequence of the packet.
Further, when the forwarding information of the message in the forwarding process is stored in the preset storage structure for recording the message forwarding process, since the forwarding process may include a plurality of monitoring nodes, the forwarding information of the message on the plurality of monitoring nodes may be stored in the preset storage structure for recording the message forwarding process according to the sequence that the message passes through the plurality of monitoring nodes.
For example, taking a monitoring node implementing NAT address translation as an example, the forwarding information on the monitoring node may include an original private IP address of the message and a public IP address after NAT translation.
As an example, the storage structure for recording the packet forwarding process may be a linked list, a queue, a stack, and the like, which is not limited in this application. For the convenience of understanding, a linked list is taken as an example, and fig. 2 is shown to illustrate an exemplary storage structure for recording the message forwarding flow.
As shown in fig. 2, the network device receives the message 1, the message 2, and the message 3 in sequence. When the message 1 passes through a first monitoring node, adding forwarding information of the message 1 on the first monitoring node as the first node into a dynamic link for recording a message forwarding process, and when the message 1 passes through 2 nd, 3 rd and 4 th monitoring nodes in sequence, adding the forwarding information of the message 1 on each monitoring node as a node into a node corresponding to the previous monitoring node.
When the message 2 passes through the first monitoring node, adding forwarding information of the message 2 on the first monitoring node as a node to the back of the first node corresponding to the message 1; similarly, when the packet 3 passes through the first monitoring node, the forwarding information of the packet 3 on the first monitoring node is added to the back of the first node corresponding to the packet 2 as a node.
For the storage process of forwarding information when the packet 2 and the packet 3 pass through the 2 nd, the 3 rd, and the 4 th monitoring nodes in sequence, reference may be made to the above description, which is not described herein again. So far, the description about the flow shown in fig. 1 is completed.
It can be seen from the above embodiments that, after receiving a message to be forwarded, checking whether the message satisfies a set monitoring condition and forwarding the message according to a corresponding forwarding flow, and if so, storing forwarding information of the message in the forwarding flow into a preset storage structure for recording the message forwarding flow according to a receiving order of the message, so as to store the forwarding information of the message according to the receiving order of the message, and further, outputting the forwarding flow of the message in a network device according to the receiving order of the message.
In addition, in an embodiment, after receiving a message to be forwarded, the network device may check whether the message satisfies a set monitoring condition when the message passes through a first monitoring node, and if so, add a monitoring flag indicating that the message satisfies the set monitoring condition in an SKB (Struct Sk _ Buffer, a Buffer area for receiving and sending packets in a TCP/IP stack) corresponding to the message. And then, when the message passes through a non-first monitoring node, checking whether the message meets the set monitoring condition by checking whether a monitoring mark exists in the SKB corresponding to the message, wherein when the monitoring mark exists in the SKB corresponding to the message, the message is determined to meet the set monitoring condition, and when the monitoring mark does not exist in the SKB corresponding to the message, the message is determined not to meet the set monitoring condition. By the processing, performance overhead caused by matching messages and set monitoring conditions for multiple times at a plurality of monitoring nodes can be avoided.
In addition, in an embodiment, since the problem cause can be conveniently located subsequently by monitoring the forwarding process of a certain number of messages, an upper limit of monitoring duration or an upper limit of the number of monitored messages may be set, and when the monitoring duration reaches the set upper limit of monitoring duration or the number of monitored messages reaches the set upper limit of number, the method for recording the message forwarding process provided in the embodiment of the present application may be stopped. By the processing, the calculation resource of the network equipment can be saved and excessive performance overhead can be avoided while the reason of the subsequent positioning problem is not influenced.
The following takes setting of the upper limit of the number of the monitored packets as an example, and further supplementary description is made on the method for recording the packet forwarding flow provided in the embodiment of the present application:
in an embodiment, after checking that the packet satisfies the set monitoring condition, the network device may add 1 to a preset statistical number, where an initial value of the statistical number is 0, and thus the statistical number may truly reflect the number of the monitored packets. Then, the network device may check whether the counted number of times reaches a set threshold, and if so, the network device may directly forward the message when subsequently receiving the message to be forwarded; if not, the network device may execute the method for recording the message forwarding flow provided by the present application when subsequently receiving the message to be forwarded.
