Description

Household cleaning equipment
Technical Field
The present patent application for industrial invention relates to a household cleaning appliance.
Background
It is generally known to clean floors and surfaces using water absorbing elements which pass over the surface to be cleaned to catch dirt and then be rinsed with water.
The absorbent element may be a strip of fabric that is moved by a wand to clean the floor, or a strip of fabric that is secured to a wand, commonly referred to as a "mop".
The water-absorbing element is usually flushed in a tub filled with water and possibly with a surface-active detergent.
Obviously, after the water absorbing element is flushed in the water in the tub, the water in the tub gets dirty and needs to be replaced with fresh water. Such a replacement operation is very uncomfortable, especially when the place where dirty water can be drained and clean water can be filled into the tub is far away from the place where the cleaning operation is performed. For this reason, generally speaking, the user avoids replacing the water in the tub, compressing the water absorbing element in the dirty water in the tub, and thus obtaining a very poor cleaning effect.
Generally, a bucket containing water is provided with a bracket adapted to support and tighten a water absorbing member. In practice, such a support comprises a basket with grooves to drain the water.
Innovative research in the field of such cleaning devices has mainly considered the support for wringing out the water-absorbing elements. In fact, different types of screwing systems are known, with elastic wings, with mechanical movement mechanisms, with centrifugal rotation of the basket, etc. However, this research activity did not consider a system for flushing the absorbent element.
US4174977 discloses an apparatus and method for rinsing and sanitizing mops for cleaning floors and other surfaces.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to eliminate the drawbacks of the prior art by disclosing a household cleaning appliance that is practical, versatile, easy to use, inexpensive and easy to manufacture.
The household cleaning device according to the invention comprises:
-a tub for containing water;
-a holder mounted in the tub for supporting a water absorbing element for floor cleaning;
-a water tank for containing water and provided with a nozzle for dispensing the water contained in the water tank; and
-a support device fixed to the tub to support the water tank such that a nozzle of the water tank is positioned above the bracket to flush the water absorbing member provided on the bracket of the tub with clean water.
The advantages of the household cleaning appliance according to the invention are evident. In fact, the user can flush the water-absorbing element several times with clean water of the tank, without having to replace the dirty water in the tub.
Such a system ensures perfect cleaning of the water-absorbing element and reduces the fatigue of the user due to frequent replacement of the water in the tub.
Drawings
Additional features of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description, which is an illustrative, but not limiting, embodiment, and wherein:
fig. 1 is a front perspective view of a home cleaning device according to a first embodiment of the present invention.
And
figure 2 is a side perspective view of a second embodiment of a cleaning device according to the present invention.
Detailed Description
With reference to fig. 1, a cleaning device according to the invention is disclosed, which is designated in its entirety by reference numeral 1.
The cleaning device 1 comprises a tub 2 for containing water. A bracket 3 is installed in the upper portion of the tub 2 to support the water absorbing member 4. Advantageously, the support 3 is a basket provided with a groove 30 in order to drain the water and wring out the water-absorbing element 4.
The water absorbing element 4 may be a strip of absorbing material attached to the rod 40. The water absorbing member 4 may also be a fabric, a sponge, or the like.
The water tank 5 is supported by a support means 7 fixed to the tub 2. The water tank 5 is for containing water. For illustrative purposes, the volume of the water tank 5 may be between 5 and 20 liters.
The water tank 5 has a water dispensing nozzle 50 communicating with the inside of the water tank and arranged above said bracket 3 for supporting the water-absorbing element, so as to flush the water-absorbing element 4 in a quick and easy manner. The nozzle 50 is provided in a lower portion of the water tank, protruding forward from the water tank.
The actuating means 6 can be manually actuated to open/close the nozzle 50 of the water tank.
Advantageously, the actuating means 6 comprise a rod 60, the rod 60 having a lower end communicating with the shutter of the valve of the nozzle 50. A handle 61 is arranged at the upper end of the lever 60 for manual actuation by a user without bending. Actuation of the handle 61 determines the rotation of the lever 60, thereby opening or closing the nozzle 50.
The supporting means 7 of the water tank includes rods 70, 71, and the rods 70, 71 are fixed to the rear of the tub and protrude upward of the tub, thereby supporting the water tank above the tub.
Advantageously, the bars of the support means 7 comprise a telescopic system comprising two lower bars 70 fixed to the tub 2 and two upper bars 71 telescopically sliding in this way inside the lower bars 70, so as to adjust the height of the support means.
The upper bar 71 is connected at an upper position by a handle 76, the handle 76 being intended to be gripped by a user in order to move the cleaning device 1. The rotating wheel is advantageously arranged below the bottom of the tub 2 in order to move the cleaning device 1.
The water tank 5 is fixed to the rod of the supporting means 7 using a strap 73 or a bracket. The strap 73 surrounds the water tank 5. The strap 73 also supports a bracket 74 to support the rod 60 of the actuating means and also supports a hook 75 to fasten the rod 40 of the water-absorbing element 4.
In the following description, the same or corresponding portions as those described above are denoted by the same reference numerals, and detailed description thereof is omitted.
Fig. 2 shows a second embodiment of a cleaning device according to the invention, which is denoted by reference numeral 100.
The device 100 comprises a lid 20 arranged on the tub 2. The bracket 3 is mounted in the cover 20. The support 3 is a concave basket comprising a plurality of strips 31 converging into a bottom wall 32, spaced apart from each other to form a trough 30 for the outflow of water. The strip 31 is resiliently mounted so that when the water absorbing element 4 is pressed against the strip 31, the strip bends, thereby compressing the water absorbing element, thereby wringing water from the water absorbing element.
The wall 21 of the tub 2 extends behind the lid 20 above the lid 20.
In this case, the supporting means 7 of the tank comprise a base 22 projecting from the wall 21 of the tub above the lid 20 of the tub.
The water tank 5 is mounted on the base 22. The water tank 5 comprises a pin 53 which engages into a groove 23 of the base 22 of the tub, for example in a bayonet or snap-in coupling.
The base 22 has a circular shape, and the water tank 5 has a cylindrical shape.
A bracket 74 is fixed to the water tank 5 to support the lever 60 of the actuating means 6 of the nozzle 50.
A hook 75 is fixed to the water tank to support the rod 40 of the water absorbing member.
A handle 25 in the shape of an inverted "U" is secured to the wall 21 of the bucket to move the cleaning apparatus 100. A hook 75' is fixed to the handle 25 to support the rod 40 of the water absorbing member.
