Referring to fig. 1, a flow diagram of one embodiment of a message presentation method according to the present disclosure is shown. The message presentation method as shown in fig. 1 includes the following steps:
step 101, in response to receiving a new message when a session window of a preset instant messaging application is opened, storing the new message in a tail of a preset message queue.
The user can use any instant messaging application client to carry out instant messaging with the contact person. The user can open the instant communication application client side at any time to browse or search the historical information which is generated between the user and the contact person.
A conversation window appears when the instant messaging application is open. The user can review the information and send the information in the session window.
For any instant messaging application, historical session information generated by a user through the instant messaging application can be stored. The historical conversation information can be stored in the instant application communication application client, the historical conversation information can also be stored in the server, and the historical conversation information can also be stored in other electronic equipment of which the electronic equipment where the instant application communication application client is located realizes communication connection.
Generally, the messages displayed by the instant messaging application can be preset in a message list. The conversation window corresponding to the instant messaging application can only show a part of the message list.
In the message list, the plurality of interactive messages corresponding to the preset instant messaging application can be sequentially set according to the sequence of the generated time. The preset message queue may correspond to the message list. The order of the plurality of messages in the message list may be the same as the order of the plurality of messages in the preset message queue.
The message list may be a message list that is pre-loaded into a memory.
It is common to store the latest occurring information at the end of the pre-defined message queue.
Step 102, using the last message currently displayed in the session window as a reference message, and determining the position of the reference message in a preset message queue.
After receiving the new message in step 101, the last message currently presented by the session window may be used as a reference message. The position of the reference message in the preset message queue may be determined. The position of the reference message in the preset message queue may be determined as how many messages are different from the last message in the preset message queue. Or may be to determine the ordering of the reference message in a preset message alignment.
Step 103, determining the size of the space occupied by the message content after the reference message in the preset message queue and before the new message is displayed according to the message content of the message after the reference message in the preset message queue and the message display parameter of the session window.
In this embodiment, after determining the position of the reference message in the preset message queue in the preset message alignment in step 102, the number of messages following the reference message of the pair in the preset message queue and the message content of each message following the reference message may be determined. That is, the size of the space occupied by the plurality of messages which are not displayed between the instant message which is newly added in the message list and the last message displayed in the current conversation window is determined in the message list.
In addition, the message presentation parameter of the conversation window may be set by the user. Such as the position of the window on the display screen of the electronic device, the height of the window, the width of the window, the display font size, and so forth.
For the same message, the size of the space occupied in the session window may be considered to be constant on the premise that the message display parameter is not changed. The space of the session window occupied by the message herein refers to the area occupied by the message in the session window.
Different window widths, the height of the same message content within the window may vary.
If the message display parameter is set, the height occupied by the message content of one message in the session window can be considered as fixed.
In some application scenarios, in the preset queue, the new message may be immediately after the reference message.
After the reference message and before the new message, the preset queue may further include at least one message. Messages following the reference message and preceding the new message may be considered as messages to be analyzed.
For the messages to be analyzed after the reference message, the height occupied by each message in the conversation window can be determined according to the message type, the message content, the current message display parameter and the like of each message to be analyzed. The message type here may include a text type message, a picture type message, a video type message, or a text-picture mixed type message, etc. Different types of messages may correspond to different display sizes. The following is an exemplary explanation of a text message, and for the text message, the display size of each text and the interval between adjacent texts may be preset. Thus, for a text message, the space occupied by the text message can be determined according to the preset display size of the text and the interval between adjacent texts. So as to determine the size of the space occupied by the at least one message to be analyzed.
And 104, displaying the information of the new message on the conversation window according to the space size.
In this embodiment, the information of the new message may be displayed in the session window according to the size of the space occupied by the content of the message after the reference message and before the new message in the preset message queue are displayed.
In some application scenarios, the number of messages to be analyzed may be zero. That is, after the upper reference message, the new message is not preceded by other messages. In this way, the message content of the new message may be presented in the conversation window.
In other application scenarios, the number of the messages to be analyzed may be greater than or equal to 1. If the height of the space occupied by the message to be analyzed is less than half of the height of the conversation window (for example, the height of the space occupied by the message to be analyzed is 1/3 of the conversation window), the messages including the reference message and the new message displayed in the conversation window when the new message is received, and the messages between the reference message and the new message can be automatically slid until the message content of the new message is displayed at the bottom of the conversation window. The sliding direction may be a direction in which a message shown in the conversation window that is received late points to a message that is received early.
In other application scenarios, the number of the messages to be analyzed may be greater than or equal to 1, and the height of the space occupied by the messages to be analyzed may be greater than half of the height of the session window. Information associated with the new message may be presented in a conversation window. Alternatively, the information associated with the new message may be, for example, prompt information for prompting the reception of the new message.
In the method provided by the above embodiment of the present disclosure, a new message is received in response to the opening of a session window of a preset instant messaging application, and the new message is stored in the tail of a preset message queue; then, taking the last message currently displayed in the session window as a reference message, and determining the position of the reference message in a preset message queue; then, according to the message content of the message behind the reference message in the preset message queue and the message display parameter of the conversation window, determining the space occupied by the message content behind the reference message and in front of the new message in the preset message queue; and finally, displaying the information of the new message on the conversation window according to the space size. Therefore, when a new message sent by the contact is received, the user can see the information of the new message no matter the user browses any historical messages of the contact. The user experience can be improved.
Referring to fig. 2A to 2B, fig. 2A to 2B are schematic diagrams illustrating an application scenario of the message presentation method according to the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 2A, the user a currently opens a session window of a preset instant messaging application on the terminal device. At this point, the terminal device may receive a new message sent by the contact (e.g., user B). The terminal device may first store the new message at the end of the preset message queue. Then, the last message currently shown in the session window is used as a reference message, and the position of the reference message in the preset message queue is determined. As shown in fig. 2A, the displayed messages of the current conversation window include a history message "good morning" sent by user a to user B, a history message "good" sent by user B to user a, and a last message of the current conversation window sent by user a to user B is "address and time of meeting today, know" 201. The terminal device may determine, according to the message content of the message after the reference message in the preset message queue and the message display parameter of the session window, the size of the space occupied by the message content after the reference message in the preset message queue and before the new message is displayed. Here, the size of the space occupied by the message content after the reference message and before the new message may be zero. The terminal device of user a can show in the current session window the message content of the new message sent by user B "the conference address is company second conference room, time is 14: 00 "202 as shown in fig. 2B.
Continuing to refer to fig. 3, a flow diagram of one embodiment of a message presentation method according to the present disclosure is shown. As shown in fig. 3, the message presentation method includes the following steps:
step 301, in response to receiving a new message when a session window of a preset instant messaging application is opened, storing the new message in a tail of a preset message queue.
In this embodiment, step 301 may be the same as or similar to step 101 shown in fig. 1, and is not described herein again.
Step 302, using the last message currently displayed in the session window as a reference message, and determining the position of the reference message in the preset message queue.
In this embodiment, step 302 may be the same as or similar to step 102 in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, and is not repeated here.
Step 303, determining the size of the space occupied by the message content before the new message after the reference message in the preset message queue is displayed according to the message content of the message after the reference message in the preset message queue and the message display parameter of the session window.
In this embodiment, step 303 may be the same as or similar to step 103 shown in fig. 1, which is not described herein again.
And step 304, the height of the space is greater than half of the height of the conversation window, and message prompt information is displayed in the current conversation window.
In this embodiment, if it is determined in step 303 that the height of the space occupied by the message content after the reference message and before the new message in the preset message queue is greater than half of the height of the conversation window, the new message prompt information may be displayed in the current conversation window. The prompting message can be any information for prompting the user of a new message. The prompt may include characters, numbers, graphics, and the like.
In some application scenarios, the number of the new messages may be greater than or equal to two. The reminder information may include the number of new messages. The prompting message may thus prompt the user that a new message for the above-mentioned number of contacts has been received.
In these application scenarios, the message display method may further include the following steps: and responding to the selection operation of the user on the prompt message of the new message, and displaying a new message with the earliest sending time in the conversation window.
The selection operation may be a touch operation of the user on the new message prompt information, or may be an operation such as cursor hovering.
The new message with the earliest occurrence time may refer to a message with the smallest sequence number in the preset message queue among the new messages stored after the reference message.
In some other application scenarios, the number of the new messages is at least one, and the prompt message does not include the number of the new messages.
In these application scenarios, the message display method may further include the following steps: and responding to the selection operation of the user on the prompt message of the new message, and jumping the message displayed in the conversation window to the latest message at the current moment and at least one new message nearby the latest message.
Here, the latest message that the message displayed in the conversation window jumps to the current time and the at least one new message near the latest message may specifically include two implementation schemes, that is, first, automatically sliding each message (including the reference message) displayed in the current conversation window, each message between the reference message and the latest message, and the latest message to the bottom of the conversation window to present the message content of the latest message. Secondly, the message content of at least one new message which can occupy the conversation window and comprises the latest message is determined directly from the latest message, and then the at least one message replaces each message displayed in the current conversation window.
In this way, new message prompt information may be presented in a window where the user browses history information for prompting the user that a new message is received. In addition, after the user selects the new message prompt information, the history message can jump to the new message in the conversation window. Compared with the prior art, the method provided by the embodiment has the advantages that the purpose of quickly browsing the new message is realized, the user operation is facilitated, and the user time is saved.
Referring to fig. 4A-4B, schematic diagrams of another application scenario of the message presentation method according to the present disclosure are shown.
The user A opens a session window of a preset instant messaging application on the terminal equipment at present. At this point, user A is viewing historical session information with the contact (user B). The conversation window shows a plurality of pieces of information interacted by the user A and the user B. Here "xxxxxx" may represent any message content. When user a views historical session information with user B, a new message sent by user B may be received. After receiving the new message, the new message may be stored at the tail of the preset message queue. The last message currently presented in the session window (the history message "xxxxxx" 401 sent by the user a to the user B as shown in fig. 4A) is used as a reference message, and the position of the reference message in the preset message queue is determined. Then, the size of the space occupied by the message content before the new message after the reference message in the preset message queue is displayed can be determined according to the message content of the message after the reference message in the preset message queue and the message display parameter of the session window. In the present application scenario, the height of the above space may be much larger than half the height of the conversation window. New message alert information 402 may be presented in the current session window. The prompt message may be "+ N" added to the "circle" pattern, where N may be any positive integer greater than or equal to 1. Indicating the receipt of N new messages. As shown in fig. 4A, the prompt information of the new message is shown in the lower right corner of the current conversation window, and 3 new messages are prompted. It should be noted that the new message prompt message can be displayed at any position of the current conversation window. The user can touch the new message prompt message in the current conversation window displaying the history message, so that in the conversation window of the user A, the interface displaying the history message is switched to the interface capable of displaying the message with the earliest sending time in the 3 new messages. As shown in fig. 4B, the conversation window jumps from showing the history message to showing the message "tomorrow meeting using this material" with the earliest sending time among the above 3 new messages 403. In presenting 403, a plurality of history messages that are received in the preset message queue immediately before 403 and are immediately adjacent to 403 may be presented. The above letter combination "yyyy" may represent any message content.
Referring to fig. 5A-5B, schematic diagrams of still another application scenario of the message presentation method according to the present disclosure are shown.
The last message currently presented in the session window (the historical message "xxxxxx" 501 sent by user a to user B as shown in fig. 5A) is used as a reference message, and the position of the reference message in the preset message queue is determined. New message alert information 502 may be presented in the current session window. The hint information may be to add a "+" to the "circle" graphic. As shown in fig. 5A, the prompt message of the new message may be presented in the lower right corner of the current conversation window. It should be noted that the new message prompt message can be displayed at any position of the current conversation window. The user can touch the new message prompt information in the current conversation window for displaying the historical messages, so that the interface for displaying the historical messages is switched to the interface capable of displaying all the received new messages in the conversation window. As shown in fig. 5B, the conversation window jumps from presenting the history message to the full message content 503 where the received 3 new messages can be presented. The message content of the above 3 new messages is "tomorrow counsel to use this material"; "arrange this material down according to our template"; after finishing, we take the core together. In addition, when the message 503 is displayed, a plurality of history messages which are received in the preset message queue before the message 503 and are adjacent to the message 503 may be displayed. The above letter combination "yyyy" may represent any message content.
In this embodiment, if a new message is received in a session window of a user history message, a new message prompt message is displayed if the height of the space occupied by a plurality of history messages before the new message is greater than half of the session window after the last message of the displayed history message. Therefore, the user can observe the prompt information of the new message in a conversation interface for displaying the historical message. In addition, the content of the new message can be displayed according to the selection operation of the user on the prompt message of the new message. So that new messages can be presented according to the user's selection. Therefore, the user does not need to slide the historical messages to the new messages one by one when browsing the historical messages. So that the user can quickly browse to the new message when browsing the historical messages.
With further reference to fig. 6, as an implementation of the methods shown in the above-mentioned figures, the present disclosure provides an embodiment of a message presentation apparatus, which corresponds to the method embodiment shown in fig. 1, and which can be applied in various electronic devices.
