Description

Method and apparatus for determining order of search items
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of information processing, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for determining an order of search items, an electronic device, and a computer-readable storage medium.
Background
With the coming of the information age, how to accurately acquire required information from vast information ocean is a main problem to be solved in the field of search.
A common method in the existing search-related method is to crawl relevant data from each data source in a network for a search term and form corresponding search items, then calculate scores of the search items according to click data of the search items corresponding to the search term in unit time, and determine a display order of the search items according to the scores, so as to display the search item with the highest degree of association or the most accurate degree of association with the search term in the front column.
It is a mainstream method to calculate the score of a search item according to the click rate of the search item. For one search item d in the search items corresponding to the search term, the click rate is marked as CTR d Score was scored as Score d . Wherein, score d =f(CTR d ) That is, score of search term d d Is the click rate CTR on the search term d d Function of, in general, score d And CTR d Positive correlation, i.e. Score of search term d is higher as click rate of search term d is higher d The higher the score of the search term d, the more forward the display order of the search term d is with respect to all search terms under the search term.
In general, for a search term, the click rate of the search term with more accurate and better content is higher, and the score is higher and the display sequence is earlier according to the content described in the above background art. However, there is a technical problem that a search item whose display order is relatively forward obtains a higher click rate because its display order is forward, rather than a higher quality because its content is more accurate. Therefore, in the process of calculating the scores of the search items according to the click rates of the search items and further determining the display sequence of the search items, the display sequence of the search items is solidified, namely the search items with the earlier display sequence are always ahead with higher probability, so that the accuracy of the search result is reduced.

Before describing the embodiments of the present disclosure, a brief introduction of some prior art in the search area is provided for a better understanding of the embodiments of the present disclosure. As described in the background and understood by those skilled in the art, when a user searches through a search engine, a search word is typically input on an interface displayed by the search engine, and then the search engine displays a search term corresponding to the search word to the user according to a certain display order, where a process of obtaining the search term of the search word by inputting the search word may be referred to as query (sometimes, the search word is referred to as query and simply denoted as q), and a search term corresponding to the search word may also be referred to as doc of the search word, where the search term of the search word may be determined by means of a crawler technology, an indexing technology, a relevance calculation technology, and the like, and for the above related technologies, existing or future technologies may be used and are not expanded here. In the prior art, during a search process performed by a user through a search engine, the search engine or other computing device records various search data of the user through a log file or the like, for example, records search data of the user on a certain search term (including, for example, the number of searches, the search frequency), and/or click data of the user on a search term of the search term (including, for example, the number of clicks, the number of impressions, and/or the display sequence of the clicked search term), and the like. In order to display a search term more related or accurate to a search term in the front, scores of the search terms are calculated according to the click rate of the search term corresponding to the search term in a unit time (including, for example, the last year, the last month, etc.) that can be arbitrarily set, and then the display order of the search terms is adjusted according to the scores.
For one search item d in the search items corresponding to the search word q, the click rate is increased
Figure BDA0002197883340000061
Wherein, click d Indicating a one-click, impre, on the search term d d Represents a presentation of the search term, and the click rate CTR of the search term d corresponding to the search term q according to the above formula q Indicating the sum of the number of clicks per unit time (sigma Click) d ) And the sum of the display times (∑ Impre) d ) Is measured in the measurement. With Score d Score representing the Score of the search term d, score d =f(CTR d ) That is, the Score of the search term d d Is the click rate CTR on the search term d d In general, score d And CTR d Positive correlation, i.e. the higher the click rate of the search term d, the Score of the search term d d The higher the score of the search term d, the more forward the display order of the search term d is with respect to all search terms under the search term.
The manner in which the number of clicks and number of impressions for a search term d are determined varies from one click model to another. Click models are models that describe the verification and click behavior of a user from the beginning of a query to the end of a query in a query, and typical click models include location-based click models that consider a user to navigate sequentially from top to bottom along a list of results that expose search terms. For example, a cascade model (cascade model) assumes that when a user browses the (i + 1) th result, meaning that the (i) th result is browsed but not clicked, the cascade model is limited to a scenario where only one search term is clicked in one query, and it is considered that none of the search terms in the one query following the clicked one search term in display order are exposed; with respect to the limitations of the cascade model, the click-dependent model (DCM) attempts to model multiple clicks of a user, that is, for a query, the rule of the click-dependent model considers that multiple search terms may be clicked for at least one of the search terms that are presented in the query including only the search term that is clicked from the first search term in the display order to the last search term that is clicked, and the search terms that are positioned after the last clicked search term in the display order are not presented.
The dependent click model is the mainstream click model, since users click on multiple search terms with a high probability in one query. When the click rate of a search item is calculated based on the dependency click model, for example, the click data in a preset unit time recorded by a search engine shows that a search word Q is queried for P times, and a user has click behavior in Q times of queries in P times of queries, so that the click rate is determined based on the click data of Q times of queries on the search word Q (the dependency click model considers that at least one search item is clicked for a search item presented in one query, and therefore queries without clicks are ignored). As described above, the click rate of one search term d among search terms corresponding to the search word q
Figure BDA0002197883340000071
Take one of N queries as an example: if the display sequence of the search item d is behind the last clicked search item in the query, the queryThe search term d is not shown (none of the search terms that are considered by the click model to be in display order after the last clicked search term are shown); if the display order of the search item d is before the last clicked search item in the query (or the search item d is the last clicked search item in the query), the search item is presented once in the query, so Impre is recorded once d When the search item d is presented and clicked, recording Click once d . Based on the N times of queries in the preset unit time, calculating the ratio of the sum of the clicked times and the sum of the displayed times of the search item d as the click rate of the search item d according to the mode. If the search item d is not clicked or not shown in Q times of queries, the Click rate is 0, and sigma Click is realized because the search item d is possible to be clicked only on the premise of being shown d ≤∑Impre d In summary, for any search term d among the search terms corresponding to the search term q, the click rate is greater than or equal to 0 and less than or equal to 1.
The method for determining the order of the search items provided by this embodiment may be performed by an apparatus for determining the order of the search items, which may be implemented as software, may be implemented as hardware, or may be implemented as a combination of software and hardware, for example, the search includes a computer device, so that the method for determining the order of the search items provided by this disclosure is performed by the computer device, as will be understood by those skilled in the art, the computer device may include various types, for example, a server, and as an example, the method for determining the order of the search items provided by this disclosure may be performed by one server, and the method for determining the order of the search items provided by this disclosure may be performed by cooperation of multiple servers.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of an embodiment of a method for determining an order of search terms according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, which may be performed by the apparatus for determining an order of search terms described above.
As shown in fig. 1, a method of determining an order of search items according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes the steps of:
step S101, determining a search word;
in step S101, the device for determining the sequence of the search terms determines a search term, where the search term corresponds to one or more search terms, as will be understood by those skilled in the art, after a user inputs the search term through a search engine, the search engine will call up the search term corresponding to the search term and present the search term to the user, which may be referred to as query or query in some cases, and it is worth noting that the device for determining the sequence of the search terms in this disclosure may be a computer device independent from the search engine, or may be the search engine itself.
Alternatively, the search term may include one or more search terms, and in the case of including a plurality of search terms, the same search term corresponds to each of the plurality of search terms, in which case the search engine will retrieve and present the same search term regardless of whether the user inputs one or more of the plurality of search terms through the search engine.
Step S102, determining a search item corresponding to the search word;
in step S102, the means for determining the sequence of the search terms determines the search terms corresponding to the search terms, and as mentioned above, after the user inputs the search terms through the search engine, the search engine will call up and display the search terms corresponding to the search terms to the user. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the search term corresponding to the search term may be obtained by crawling, indexing, and storing and maintaining the network data in a specific form, and then applying a calculation method, such as an association calculation method, etc., where existing or future crawling, indexing, storing, and maintaining techniques and/or association calculation techniques may be applied to the embodiments of the present disclosure, and the embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited thereto.
Step S103, determining click data of the search item;
in step S103, the means for determining the order of the search items determines click data of the search items. As will be appreciated by those skilled in the art and as described in the background of the present disclosure, during a search by a user via a search engine, the search engine or other computing device may record various search data of the user via a log file or the like, for example, record search data of a certain search term by the user (including, for example, a search time, a search frequency) and/or click data of a search item of the search term by the user (including, for example, a click time, a presentation time, a display order of the clicked search item, and/or the like), and the like. Therefore, in step S103, the means for determining the sequence of the search items obtains the click data of the search items in a unit time, wherein the unit time can be any preset time period, for example, the unit time includes the last month or the last year.
Step S104, determining display parameters and click parameters of the search items according to the click data;
in step S104, the means for determining the order of the search items determines a display parameter of the search items and a click parameter, for example, the display parameter reflects the display of the search items, and the click parameter reflects the click of the search items. Generally, in the unit time, the search engine may receive a plurality of queries of the user for the search term, then display the search terms corresponding to the search term in a preset display order, and accept a click of the user. For one search item d in the search items corresponding to the search term, the search item d may be presented multiple times or clicked multiple times in the unit time, and optionally, for the search item d, the presentation parameter may include Impr d For example, there is one Impr per search term d presented d The Click parameter may include Click d For example, there is one Click for each search term d presented d . Further optionally, forIn the search term d, the presentation parameter may include Impr d-m That is, a total of M search terms d, impr are displayed in the unit time d-m Corresponding to the M-th presentation search item d in the M times, the Click parameter of the search item d can comprise Click d-n I.e. having clicked N times the search term d, click together in the unit time d-n The method corresponds to the nth click search item d in N times, wherein M and N are positive integers, and N is less than or equal to M because the search item d can be clicked only under the condition of being displayed.
S105, determining the click rate of the search item according to the display parameters, the click parameters and the bias parameters of the search item;
in step S105, the means for determining the order of the search terms determines the click rate of the search term according to the presentation parameter, the click parameter, and the bias parameter of the search term. As understood by those skilled in the art and as described in the background of the present disclosure, in step S105, the click rate of the search term is to be determined based on the click data of the search term corresponding to the search word in the unit time.
Different from the prior art, a bias parameter is introduced when the click rate of the search item is determined in step S105, so as to adjust the click rate of the search item through the bias parameter, avoid solidification of the display sequence caused by the search item with the front display sequence obtaining a higher click rate due to the display sequence itself, reduce errors caused by different display positions of the search item, improve the accuracy of the search result, and bring better user experience.
In an alternative embodiment, the step S105: determining the click rate of the search item according to the display parameters, the click parameters and the bias parameters of the search item, comprising: determining the click rate of the search item according to a click rate calculation formula, wherein the click rate formula comprises:
Figure BDA0002197883340000111
wherein, CTR d Click rate for search term d d-n Click parameter, impr, for the nth click on search term d d-m Displaying the display parameters of the search item d for the mth time, wn is the bias parameter of the search item d clicked for the nth time, M is the display times of the search item d, N is the click times of the search item d, M and N are positive integers, and N is smaller than or equal to M.
As will be appreciated by those skilled in the art and as described in the background of the present disclosure, since the Dependent Click Model (DCM) is the mainstream click model in the search field, the display parameters and click parameters involved in the embodiments of the present disclosure will be determined according to or not in conflict with the rules corresponding to the dependent click model. In the following text, how to determine the click rate of the search term d will be described by taking a search term d of the search terms corresponding to the search term as an example, and the same or corresponding description may be referred to for determining the click rate of other search terms corresponding to the search term.
In the above alternative embodiment, the click-through rate of the search term d
Figure BDA0002197883340000121
Figure BDA0002197883340000122
For example, according to the click data, the search word is queried Q times within the preset unit time, where M times of queries show the search item d (according to the rule of DCM model, in a query, if the display order of the search item d is after the last clicked search item in the query, then the search item d is not shown in the query, so in the M queries, the display order of the search item d is before the last clicked search item, or the search item d is the last clicked search item), impr d-m Presenting the search for the mth of the M queriesPresentation parameters for index item d, e.g. Impr d-m Indicates that the search term d was presented 1 time in the mth query, then ≦ ≦ the search term d>
Figure BDA0002197883340000123
Representing the total number of times said search term d has been presented within said preset unit of time, further e.g. Impr d-m Represents the presentation score of the search term d in the mth query, then
Figure BDA0002197883340000124
Representing a total presentation score for the search term d to be presented within the preset unit time; the search item d can be clicked only on the premise of being displayed, so that N is less than or equal to M), click, and the N queries in the Q queries or the N queries in the M queries Click the search item d (N is less than or equal to M) d-n And the click parameter of the search item d is clicked for the nth time in the N times of queries.
In conventional processing, e.g. Click d-n Indicating that search term d was clicked 1 time in the nth query, then
Figure BDA0002197883340000131
Representing the total number of times said search term d has been clicked within said preset unit time, also e.g. Click d-n Indicates the click score of the search term d in the nth query, then->
Figure BDA0002197883340000132
Represents the total click score for the search term d clicked within the preset unit time, and thus may pass ≧ in the conventional processing mode>
Figure BDA0002197883340000133
To calculate the click rate of the search item d, and further calculate the score of the search item d according to the click rate and determine the display order of the search item according to the score, however, as described in the background of the present disclosure, since the search item with the front display order may have a higher click rate due to the display order, the search item with the back display order may have a higher click rate due to the display orderThe click rate of the search item is lower due to the display sequence of the search item, so in order to avoid solidification of the display sequence of the search item, the embodiment of the disclosure creatively introduces the bias parameter Wn of the search item to adjust the click rate of the search item.
As previously described, click d-n Click parameters, e.g. Click, for the nth Click on the search term d in the N queries d-n Indicating that search term d was clicked 1 time in the nth query, then
Figure BDA0002197883340000134
Representing the total number of times said search term d has been clicked within said preset unit time, also e.g. Click d-n Indicates the click score of the search term d in the nth query, then->
Figure BDA0002197883340000135
And representing the total showing fraction of the search item d clicked within the preset unit time, wherein Wn is a bias parameter of the search item d when being clicked for the nth time in the nth query.
In the above alternative embodiment, the click rate of the search term d
Figure BDA0002197883340000136
Figure BDA0002197883340000137
That is to say, in the process of calculating the click rate of the search item d, for N queries that have clicked the search item d within the unit time, the click times or click scores of the nth query in the N queries are adjusted by the corresponding bias parameters Wn, so that the total number of times or total scores that the search item d is clicked within the preset unit time are adjusted, and further the value of the click rate of the search item d is adjusted, so as to solve the problem that the display order is solidified due to the display order of the search item in the prior art.
In an alternative embodiment, said presentation parameter Impr of the search term d d-m =1, click parameter Click of the search term d d-n =1, the click rate formula includes:
Figure BDA0002197883340000141
Figure BDA0002197883340000142
that is, for each presentation of the search term d, the Click parameter Click of the search term d d-n And a display parameter Impr d-m Are each 1, it is to be understood that they are each 1, or each 1, so that the click-rate formula for the search term d is transformed into ≥ h>
Figure BDA0002197883340000143
Figure BDA0002197883340000144
Optionally, the bias parameter Wn of the search term d is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 1. For example, the offset parameter Wn of the search term d may be preset, and if the current display order of the search term d is earlier, the N smaller offset parameter values are corresponded, and if the current display order of the search term d is later, the N larger offset parameter values are corresponded, so as to solve the problem in the prior art that the display order is solidified due to the display order of the search term.
And S106, determining the display sequence of the search items according to the click rate of the search items.
In step S106, the means for determining the order of search items determines the display order of the search items according to the click rate of the search items corresponding to the search word determined in step S105. Optionally, determining a display order of the search terms according to the click rate of the search terms includes: determining the score of the search item according to the click rate of the search item, wherein the score of the search item is positively correlated with the click rate of the search item; determining the display order of the search items according to scores of the search items. E.g., with search term d, a point thereofHit rate of CTR d Corresponding Score of d =f(CTR d ) That is, score of search term d d Is the click rate CTR on the search term d d Due to Score d And CTR d Positively correlated, then the higher the click rate of the search term d, the Score of the search term d is d The higher the score of the search term d, the more forward the display order of the search term d is with respect to all search terms under the search term.
It should be noted that the specific algorithm for calculating the scores and/or the display orders of the search terms based on the click rates of the search terms in the embodiments of the present disclosure is not limited, and any existing and future methods for determining the display orders of the search terms based on the click rates of the search terms determined in step S105 can be applied to the embodiments of the present disclosure.
