Description

Dental plaque monitoring method, monitoring equipment, monitoring system, storage equipment and toothbrush
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of tooth brushing detection, in particular to a dental plaque monitoring method, monitoring equipment, a monitoring system, storage equipment and a toothbrush.
Background
Dental plaque is a biofilm that gradually deposits on the surface of teeth, consisting mainly of food residues, shed oral epithelial cells and saliva. After plaque builds up to a certain thickness, it provides a good survival condition for streptococci and other anaerobic bacteria that are common in the normal oral cavity. Bacteria in the mouth, which are close to the tooth surface, start to transfer to anaerobic respiration because of being isolated from air, so that the generated acid cannot be diluted and washed away by saliva in time, thereby corroding enamel and promoting the formation of dental caries. When plaque accumulated at the root of teeth approaches the gums, toxins and other harmful substances produced by bacteria can irritate the gums, leading to periodontal diseases such as caries and gingivitis. If the control is not carried out any more, gingivitis can develop into irreversible periodontitis, so that the alveolar bone is damaged, and finally the teeth are loosened or shed.
In people's life, tooth brushing is an important self-oral health care method for removing dental plaque. To guide users to brush their teeth correctly, tooth brushing monitoring devices are emerging on the market that monitor the user's tooth brushing process data. The tooth brushing monitoring device is connected to the toothbrush handle to detect tooth brushing behaviors of a user, obtain tooth brushing process data, and then analyze the tooth brushing process data to obtain tooth brushing results.
In carrying out the present invention, the inventors have found that in the prior art, dental plaque data is obtained by counting the area of plaque after staining a dental surface or by examining the bulk of plaque by a periodontal probe. The above solution requires a trained doctor to operate and a doctor to actively warn or advise the user based on the detected dental plaque data.

The power input 1322 is used for electrically connecting to the power supply 133 to supply power to the brushing monitoring device 132; the motion sensor 1323 is used to detect the user's brushing course data, which includes the movement track of the handle, the brushing times of the same area of teeth, the brushing angle and the brushing force for brushing teeth during brushing; the memory 1326 is adapted to store data detected by the motion sensor 1323; the processor 1324 can control the operation of each component according to the program setting after being electrically connected with each component; the timer 1327 is used to calculate a brushing time of the user, which includes the time it takes for the toothbrush 100 to brush a certain tooth area. When the toothbrush is an electric toothbrush, since the vibration frequency or the rotation speed of the electric toothbrush is constant, the cleaning condition of a certain area on the teeth can be calculated according to the residence time of the brush head on the certain area.
As also shown in fig. 4, in the present embodiment, the motion sensor 1323 is integrated by an acceleration sensor 13231, a geomagnetic sensor 13232, a gyroscope 13233, and a counter 13234. The acceleration sensor 13231 is used for detecting linear acceleration data of the toothbrush motion during the brushing process of the user, the geomagnetic sensor 13232 is used for detecting the designated direction data of the brush head 110 during the brushing process of the user, the gyroscope 13233 is used for detecting inclination data of the brush head 110 during the brushing process of the user, and the counter 13234 is used for calculating brushing times of each area of teeth during the brushing process. Finally, the processor 1324 calculates the detected various data according to the program setting to obtain the brushing times, brushing force, brushing angles and brushing tracks of each tooth exposed surface or tooth designated exposed surface; and obtaining brushing times, brushing force, brushing angles and brushing tracks of covering tooth surfaces or appointed covering tooth surfaces in the gingival sulcus of each tooth. In other embodiments, the counter 13234 may not be included in the motion sensor 1323, and the motion sensor 1323 includes only the acceleration sensor 13231, the geomagnetic sensor 13232, and the gyroscope 13233. When the toothbrush 100 is an electric toothbrush, the processor 1324 may calculate the detected data according to the program setting to obtain brushing time, brushing force, brushing angle and brushing track of each exposed surface of teeth or the designated exposed surface of teeth; and brushing time, brushing force, brushing angle and brushing track for covering the tooth surface or appointed to cover the tooth surface in each tooth gingival sulcus.
The following example description will provide a detailed description of plaque data monitoring of the exposed face of a tooth (or of a designated exposed face of a tooth). Specifically, the memory 1326 stores therein related data and a plurality of instruction codes. Wherein, the related data comprises plaque data, a plaque parameter table, a tooth brushing plaque parameter corresponding table and the like. The processor 1324 is configured to retrieve relevant data and a plurality of instruction codes stored in the memory 1326 to implement the following functional operations: a. acquiring plaque data of an exposed surface of a tooth (or a designated exposed surface of a tooth); b. judging whether the plaque data reach a set upper limit value (for example, setting the plaque index grade 2 as the upper limit value), and sending out an alarm if the plaque data reach the set upper limit value; c. and pushing the obtained plaque data to the designated equipment or pushing the obtained plaque data to a server when the obtained plaque data reaches a set upper limit value. In this embodiment, the alarm is sent to the user by flashing the LED light 1328 or sending out an alarm (such as red light). When the pushed designated equipment is a doctor end, the doctor can give out risk prompt and guide measures according to the situation of the pushed bacterial plaque data; when the pushed designated equipment is a guardian end, the guardian can conveniently know the existence of dental plaque on the teeth of the concerned user in time; when pushed onto the server, the doctor or guardian can view the plaque data of the concerned user in the server through the account.
In operation a, the plaque data obtained includes brushing plaque parameters and time plaque parameters. In the operation b, after the brushing of the exposed surface of the tooth (or the exposed surface of the tooth) is completed, the plaque data for comparison with the set upper limit value is selected as the inferior one of the time plaque parameter and the brushing plaque parameter. In operation c, the pushed plaque data is the inferior one of the plaque parameter and the brushing plaque parameter at the present time after the brushing of the exposed face of the tooth (or the exposed face specified by the tooth) is finished.
In this embodiment, the obtaining of the brushing plaque parameters includes the following operations: i. acquiring brushing times and brushing tracks of each tooth exposed surface (or tooth appointed exposed surface); ii. Comparing the obtained brushing times and brushing tracks with preset times (for example, setting that each exposed surface of one tooth is to be brushed 8-10 times) and preset tracks (for example, the brushing tracks are to cover the whole area of each exposed surface of one tooth), and obtaining brushing results of each exposed surface of one tooth (or the appointed exposed surface of one tooth) (the brushing results comprise the case that the brushing times meet the preset times and the case that whether the brushing area covers the whole area of the exposed surface of one tooth or not; the brushing results can be expressed in a score, if the satisfied score is 100, and if the satisfied score is not met, the score is set between 0 and 100 according to the satisfied proportion); and iii, comparing brushing results with a preset tooth brushing plaque parameter corresponding table (such as a grade table with scores corresponding to plaque indexes, specifically, a tooth brushing plaque parameter (such as plaque index) of each exposed surface (or a tooth designated exposed surface) is obtained by the tooth brushing plaque parameters of which the scores are respectively 95 to 100 and 1, 65 to 80 and 3, 35 to 50 and 4 and 0 to 40, respectively.
The acquisition of the time plaque parameters included the following operations: h1, acquiring plaque data obtained after the last brushing of a tooth exposed surface (or a tooth appointed exposed surface) (aiming at obtaining the existence condition or the residual condition of plaque after the last brushing of the tooth exposed surface or the tooth appointed exposed surface according to the last brushing condition of the tooth exposed surface); h2, obtaining the time interval of the last tooth brushing of the current distance; h3, obtaining the current dental plaque condition (including parameters such as the number, the type, the thickness, the area, the volume and the like of the dental plaque at the current time point) according to the time growth rule of the dental plaque; and H4, comparing the current dental plaque condition with a dental plaque parameter table (such as a dental plaque index grade table) to obtain a time dental plaque parameter (such as a dental plaque index). In other embodiments, the order of operations H1 and H2 may be reversed.
In this embodiment, the triggering condition of the operation a is that the exposed face of the tooth (or the exposed face specified by the tooth) is brushed. The method comprises the following steps of determining that brushing of the exposed surface of the teeth is finished, wherein the determined brushing force is zero and exceeds 5 seconds; the tooth designated exposed surface brushing end may be identified by a measured brushing trajectory that is more than 5 seconds from the tooth designated exposed surface. In other embodiments, operations a and b may also be in an execution state at all times.
In this embodiment, after operation c, the method further includes an operation of acquiring risk prompts and guiding measures sent by the doctor according to the pushed plaque data. Because the toothbrush 100 in this embodiment can actively obtain plaque data on the exposed surface of the teeth (or the exposed surface designated by the teeth) after the end of each brushing, the time for the user to go to the hospital and find the doctor for operation is saved, and the monitoring of plaque data is more timely.
Similarly, in other embodiments, the regimen for obtaining the brushing plaque parameters can be modified to: i. acquiring brushing times, brushing force and brushing track of each tooth exposed surface (or tooth appointed exposed surface); ii. Comparing the obtained brushing times, brushing force and brushing track correspondence with preset times (for example, setting each exposed surface of a tooth to be brushed for 8-10 times), preset force and preset track (for example, brushing track is to cover the whole area of each exposed surface of a tooth), and obtaining brushing results of each exposed surface of a tooth (or the appointed exposed surface of a tooth) (the brushing results comprise the case that the brushing times meet the preset times, the case that the brushing force meets the preset force and the case that whether the brushing area covers the whole area of the exposed surface of a tooth or not, the brushing results can adopt scores, if the met score is 100, and if the met score is not met, the score is set between 0-100 according to the met ratio); and iii, comparing brushing results with a preset tooth brushing plaque parameter corresponding table (such as a grade table with scores corresponding to plaque indexes, specifically, a tooth brushing plaque parameter (such as plaque index) of each exposed surface (or a tooth designated exposed surface) is obtained by the tooth brushing plaque parameters of which the scores are respectively 95 to 100 and 1, 65 to 80 and 3, 35 to 50 and 4 and 0 to 40, respectively.
Similarly, in other embodiments, when the toothbrush selected is an electric toothbrush, the regimen for obtaining the plaque parameters may be modified to: i. acquiring brushing time and brushing track of each tooth exposed surface (or tooth designated exposed surface); ii. Comparing the obtained brushing time and brushing track with the preset time and the preset track correspondingly to obtain brushing results of the exposed surfaces (or the appointed exposed surfaces) of each tooth; and iii, comparing the brushing result with a preset brushing plaque parameter corresponding table to obtain brushing plaque parameters of the exposed surface (or the appointed exposed surface) of each tooth.
Similarly, in other embodiments, when the toothbrush selected is an electric toothbrush, the regimen for obtaining the plaque parameters may be modified to: i. acquiring brushing time, brushing force and brushing track of each tooth exposed surface (or tooth appointed exposed surface); ii. Comparing the obtained brushing time, brushing force and brushing track with preset time, preset force and preset track correspondingly to obtain brushing results of the exposed surfaces (or the appointed exposed surfaces) of each tooth; and iii, comparing the brushing result with a preset brushing plaque parameter corresponding table to obtain brushing plaque parameters of the exposed surface (or the appointed exposed surface) of each tooth.
