Description

System information area determining method, indicating method, terminal and network equipment
Technical Field
The embodiment of the invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a system information area determining method, an indicating method, a terminal and network equipment.
Background
In NR (New Radio ) systems, the concept of system information AREA (SI AREA) is introduced. A System Information area may include a plurality of CELLs (CELL), and the contents of partial SIBs (System Information blocks) belonging to different CELLs of the same System Information area may be the same.
In the NR system, the concept of TA (Tracking Area) is supported, and one TA Area may include a plurality of system information areas. Different TA areas within the same PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network) are distinguished by TAC (Tracking Area Code). If the tracking AREA code and the system information AREA identity (SI AREA ID) of two cells are the same, the two cells belong to the same system information AREA. If the tracking area codes of the two cells are different, even if the system information area identifications of the two cells are the same, the two cells do not belong to the same system information area.
In a scenario supporting network sharing, multiple operators may share one cell. Different operators may be distinguished by different PLMNIDs. Different operators can divide their TA zones, as shown in fig. 1, assuming that operator a divides CELL1, CELL2 and CELL3 into TA zone 1. As shown in fig. 2, operator B maps CELL1 and CELL2 into TA zone 3 and CELL3 into TA zone 2. Thus, it is difficult for the terminal to determine whether CELL3 and CELL1/CELL2 belong to the same system information area.
That is, in the prior art, there is no discussion about how to determine the system information area to which the cell belongs.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 3, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for determining a system information area, which is applied to a terminal and includes:
step 31: acquiring a Tracking Area Code (TAC) for determining a system information area to which a current cell belongs;
step 32: and determining the system information area to which the current cell belongs according to the system information area identifier and the tracking area code sent by the current cell.
In the embodiment of the invention, the system information area to which the current cell where the terminal is located belongs can be accurately determined.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the current cell may send a system information AREA identity (SI AREA ID) to which the current cell belongs through a System Information Block (SIB). For example, the system information area identity to which the current cell belongs is broadcast by the system information block 1(SIB 1).
In the NR system, each cell transmits its own system information. The system information of a cell includes: MIB (Master Information Block) and SIB (System Information Block). One cell may send multiple SIBs, with different SIBs used for different purposes, such as: the SIBx is general information for cell reselection; the SIBy is information of Intra-NR reselection with the same frequency; SIBz is inter-RAT reselection information or the like (where x, y, z are numbers of SIBs).
A method of acquiring a tracking area code for determining a system information area to which a current cell belongs will be described below.
In some preferred embodiments of the present invention, the step of obtaining a tracking area code for determining a system information area to which the current cell belongs may include:
receiving a tracking area code sent by the current cell and used for determining a system information area to which the current cell belongs.
That is, the current cell directly transmits to the terminal a tracking area code for determining a system information area to which the current cell belongs.
In some further preferred embodiments of the present invention, the step of obtaining a tracking area code for determining a system information area to which the current cell belongs includes:
acquiring a designated PLMN for determining a system information area to which the current cell belongs;
and taking the tracking area code corresponding to the specified PLMN as the tracking area code used for determining the system information area to which the current cell belongs.
A method for acquiring a specific PLMN for determining a system information area to which the current cell belongs will be described below.
In some preferred embodiments of the present invention, the step of acquiring the specified PLMN for determining the system information area to which the current cell belongs may include:
step 311: acquiring a PLMN identification list supported by the current cell;
in the embodiment of the present invention, Identifiers (IDs) of all PLMNs that can be supported by a cell are recorded in a PLMN identifier list.
In the embodiment of the invention, the cell can send the PLMN identification list supported by the cell through the system information block. For example, the list of PLMN identities supported by the cell is sent via the system information block 1.
Step 312: and selecting a primary PLMN (primary PLMN) of the current cell from the PLMN identification list as the designated PLMN.
Usually, the first PLMN in the PLMN identity list supported by the cell is taken as the primary PLMN of the cell. Of course, the possibility of using PLMNs at other positions in the PLMN identification list as primary PLMNs of the cell is not excluded.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the primary PLMN of the cell is used as the designated PLMN for determining the system information area to which the cell belongs, and this manner may be configured by the network device or may be predetermined by a protocol.
When configured by a network device, before the step of selecting the primary PLMN of the current cell as the designated PLMN from the PLMN identification list, the method further includes: and receiving first indication information sent by network equipment, wherein the first indication information indicates that the main PLMN of the current cell is adopted as the designated PLMN.
In some other preferred embodiments of the present invention, the step of acquiring the specified PLMN for determining the system information area to which the current cell belongs may include:
step 311': receiving second indication information sent by network equipment, wherein the second indication information comprises Index (Index) information of the specified PLMN;
step 312': acquiring a PLMN identification list supported by the current cell;
step 313': and determining the designated PLMN from the PLMN identification list according to the index information of the designated PLMN.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the sequence of step 311 'and step 312' is not limited, step 311 'may be executed first, then step 312' may be executed, step 312 'may be executed first, then step 311' may be executed, or step 311 'and step 312' may be executed simultaneously.
The index information for specifying the PLMN refers to an arrangement order of the specified PLMN in the PLMN identification list, for example, if the index information for specifying the PLMN is 3, it indicates that the specified PLMN is the 3 rd PLMN in the PLMN identification list.
In some other preferred embodiments of the present invention, the step of acquiring the specified PLMN for determining the system information area to which the current cell belongs may include:
step 311 ": receiving third indication information sent by network equipment, wherein the third indication information comprises an identifier of the specified PLMN;
step 312 ": and determining the designated PLMN according to the identification of the designated PLMN.
In the embodiment of the invention, the network equipment directly sends the identifier of the PLMN for determining the system information area of the cell to the terminal, and the terminal can directly determine the designated PLMN for determining the system information area of the cell, so that the determination mode is simple and quick.
In this embodiment of the present invention, preferably, after the step of determining the system information area to which the current cell belongs, the method may further include:
step 33: receiving a system information block 1(SIB1) of the current cell, and acquiring a version number (valuTag) of other system information blocks carried in the system information block 1;
in the embodiment of the present invention, the SIB1 includes the version number (valuTag) of other SIBs (e.g., SIBx). Two cells belonging to the same system information area can be considered to have the same content of SIBx if the version numbers of the SIBx of the two cells are the same.
Step 34: when the stored version number of the system information block x (sibx) of the original cell where the terminal resides is the same as the version number of the system information block x of the current cell, and the current cell and the original cell belong to the same system information area, the system information block x of the current cell is not received, where x is an integer not equal to 1, that is, the stored system information block x with the same version number as the system information block x of the current cell is directly used as the system information block x of the current cell.
The original cell in which the terminal camps may be any cell in which the terminal has camped before reselecting to the current cell.
For example, if a terminal resides in a CELL (e.g., CELL1), the SIBx of CELL1 and the corresponding version number may be obtained and stored. When the UE reselects to another CELL (such as CELL2), the SIB1 of CELL2 is received, and the version number of the SIBx of CELL2 is acquired. If the terminal finds that the version number of the SIBx of CELL2 is the same as the version number of the SIBx of locally stored CELL1, and that CELL2 and CELL1 belong to the same system information area, the content of SIBx of CELL2 and the content of SIBx of locally stored CELL1 are considered to be identical. Thus, the terminal can directly utilize the stored SIBx of CELL1 without receiving the SIBx of CELL2, thereby avoiding power consumption caused by the terminal for receiving the SIBx of CELL 2.
That is, when the terminal changes the camped cell (camped cell), if the camped new cell and the original camped cell that has camped once belong to the same system information area, the system information block with the same version number in the new cell and the original camped cell may not be received, thereby avoiding power consumption caused by the terminal for receiving the system information block.
It should be noted that the system information stored in the terminal has a certain validity period, and after the validity period is exceeded, the terminal deletes the stored system information.
Still taking the example in fig. 1 and 2 as an example, operator a divides CELL1, CELL2 and CELL3 into TA zone 1. Operator B places CELL1 and CELL2 in TA zone 3 and CELL3 in TA zone 2. In the embodiment of the present invention, it is assumed that the primary PLMN is used as the specified PLMN for determining the system information area of the CELL, and the primary PLMN of CELL3 is a PLMN corresponding to operator a. In addition, the System Information Area Identity (SIAID) transmitted by CELL3 is 1. Then, according to the system information area identifier sent by CELL3 and the TA area identifier (TAC ═ 1) corresponding to the primary PLMN (operator a) of CELL3, it can be determined that CELL3 belongs to one system information area together with CELL1 and CELL 2. Thus, when a terminal (whether a terminal served by operator a or a terminal served by operator B) reselects from CELL1/CELL2 to CELL3, if the UE stores the corresponding SIB and the value tag of the stored SIB is the same as the value tag of the SIB broadcasted by CELL3, it may not be necessary to re-read the relevant system information block, thereby avoiding power consumption by the terminal in order to receive the system information block.
Meanwhile, operator B does not need to classify CELL1, CELL2, and CELL3 into the same TA region, i.e., the planning of the system information area does not limit the planning of the TA region.
Referring to fig. 4, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a method for indicating a system information area, which is applied to a network device, and includes:
