The hair growth composition disclosed by the invention can mildly remove dandruff, inhibit grease secretion and balance scalp biological flora, and can inhibit alopecia, repair hair follicles and stimulate new hair growth under the combined action of several substances.

The pH regulator is selected from one or more of citric acid, sodium hydroxide, triethanolamine and aminobenzyl alcohol.
Preferably, the hair growth composition contains a humectant.
A cosmetic containing the composition for promoting hair growth is provided. The cosmetics include but are not limited to essence, shampoo, cream, emulsion, and hair conditioner.
