According to the scheme, the embodiment of the invention determines the corresponding application to manage according to the current time information, the life mode of the user of the mobile terminal and the reference time period, so that the application management is simpler and more convenient, the application management is more in line with the use habit of the user, the operation such as manual selection and confirmation of the user is not needed, and the interaction capability of the mobile terminal is enhanced.

Detailed Description
The application management method and the mobile terminal provided by the embodiment of the invention simplify the management mode of the mobile terminal and the application, reduce the manual operation of a user and enhance the interaction capability of the mobile terminal. The following description of the embodiments refers to the accompanying drawings.
The application in the embodiment of the present invention, which may be referred to as an application program or application software, is a set of programs provided to meet the needs of the user, and may be compiled from various programming languages. Applications in this embodiment include, but are not limited to, social software applications, audio players, video players, web browsers, games, and the like.
The first application, the second application and the third application in the embodiment of the present invention are only intended to refer to any one application, and the first application, the second application and the third application may be the same or different.
The application corresponding to the current time information in the embodiment of the present invention refers to an application determined according to the following corresponding relationship between the current time information and the usage information of at least one application and the user life mode and the reference period of the mobile terminal, and specifically, the corresponding relationship between the usage information of at least one application and the user life mode and the reference period of the mobile terminal and the description of the usage information of the application can be referred to.
The application to be preloaded in the embodiment of the invention refers to an application which is determined according to the use information of the application corresponding to the current time information and needs to be preloaded. Whether to perform the preloading operation may also depend on the current state of the application to be preloaded. The application to be closed in the embodiment of the invention refers to an application which is determined to be closed according to the use information of the application corresponding to the current time information. Whether to perform the shutdown operation may also depend on the current state of the application to be shutdown.
The application in the embodiment of the invention comprises at least two states. Taking an android system as an example, the states of the application include a startup state and a shutdown state. The startup state again includes two states: (1) One state is that an application runs in the foreground and the background at the same time, and the application runs in the foreground refers to an activity component (activity component) to be run on data, files, codes or the like related to a user interface; the application running in the background means that a service component (service component) is started, and at this time, necessary data, files, codes, etc. related to the application are to be run; (2) The other state is that the application only runs in the background, and the service component needs to be started, at this time, necessary data, files, codes and the like related to the application are run, and the activity component is not started. The second startup state is also referred to as preload. The closed state refers to that all processes related to the application are closed, including a foreground running process and a background running process. It should be noted that the embodiments of the present invention may also be applied to other systems, such as ios systems, and the specific management manner is similar to that of Andriod systems.
In an embodiment of the present invention, managing an application may include at least one of preloading the application, closing the application, and maintaining a current state of the application. Wherein preloading the application refers to switching the application from a closed state to a state running only in the background. Closing the application refers to closing all processes associated with the application. Maintaining the current state of the application means not changing the current state of the application, including several situations: (1) If the application has been preloaded, maintaining the current state of the application means maintaining the preloaded state, neither closing the application nor running the application in the foreground. (2) If an application has been closed, maintaining the current state of the application means maintaining the closed state without running the application in the foreground or in the background. (3) If an application is already running in both the foreground and the background, maintaining the current state of the application means maintaining the application running in both the foreground and the background, and neither shutting down the process that the application is running in the foreground nor shutting down the process that the application is running in the background.
An application is managed without regard to the current state of the application. For example: if it is determined that an application is an application to be loaded, performing a preloading operation regardless of whether the application is preloaded or not; if it is determined that an application is an application to be closed, the closing operation is performed regardless of whether the application is already loaded. The process of performing the preload operation again for the already preloaded application and the process of performing the close operation again for the already closed application may refer to the prior art, for example, no longer respond to repeated instructions, etc.
Optionally, an application is managed, also taking into account the current state of the application. For example: if the application corresponding to the current time information is determined to be the application to be preloaded according to the use information of the application corresponding to the current time information, and the application to be preloaded is currently in a closed state, preloading the application to be preloaded; or if the application corresponding to the current time information is determined to be the application to be closed according to the use information of the application corresponding to the current time information, and the application to be closed is currently in an operating state, closing the application to be closed; or if the application corresponding to the current time information is determined to be the application to be preloaded according to the use information of the application corresponding to the current time information, and the application to be preloaded is currently in an operating state, maintaining the application to be preloaded to continue to operate; or if the application corresponding to the current time information is determined to be the application to be closed according to the use information of the application corresponding to the current time information, and the application to be closed is currently in a closed state, maintaining the application to be closed to be in the closed state continuously.
The starting time point of the application in the embodiment of the present invention may be a time point when the application is started in the background, or may be a time point when the application is started in the foreground, which is specifically set, and the present invention is not limited thereto. The mobile terminal obtains the current state of the application, can be determined by detecting the process of the application, and if the application process is not closed, the application is determined to be in a running state; if all processes of the application have been closed (killed), the application is determined to be in a closed state. An application may occupy a plurality of processes, in an android system, a foreground activity component of the application occupies a process, a background service component occupies a process, if the starting of the foreground process is monitored, the application foreground is started, and if the starting of the background process is monitored, the application background is started. Similarly, the mobile terminal obtains the starting time point and the closing time point of the application, and can also be determined by detecting the process of the application, the starting time of the process recorded when the application process is started can be used as the starting time of the application, and the closing time of the process recorded when all the processes of the application are closed can be used as the closing time of the application. Of course, the starting time of the application may also be determined according to the starting time of the foreground process or the background process, which is not limited herein.
The mobile terminal in the embodiment of the invention comprises, but is not limited to, a smart phone, a personal computer, a tablet, a smart television or a device capable of running the application, and the like.
The user life mode in the embodiment of the invention is a result of the mobile terminal counting the life rule of the user and dividing a period of time according to the user use related information counted by the mobile terminal in a period of time. The precondition for this statistics is that the user has to carry the mobile terminal with him or her all the time or most of the time. For example, geographic location information of the mobile terminal may be counted, where the geographic location information may include a geographic location where the mobile terminal is located, a route of movement, a time to reach a certain geographic location, a time to leave a certain geographic location, a date, etc. Based on this information, typical life patterns of the user, such as work patterns, holiday patterns, business trip patterns, vacation patterns, etc., are counted and analyzed. For example, geographic location information of the mobile terminal in a first time period may be statistically counted, and a second time period is divided into the at least one sub-mode according to the geographic location information, where the first time period is greater than or equal to the second time period. The first period may be a longer period of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, etc., and the second period may be a shorter period of one week or two weeks, etc. That is, one shorter period (second period) may be divided into a plurality of sub-modes by statistics of information of the mobile terminal for a longer period (first period), for example, one week may be divided into two sub-modes: weekday mode (monday to friday) and holiday mode (friday to sunday). Specific statistical and analytical methods may be referred to in the art, as the invention is not limited in this regard.
The reference period in the embodiment of the present invention is a common period (third period), and the common period may be a subdivision of the second period. For example, the second period may be one week, one day (24 hours), or half day (12 hours), the second period may be one month, and the third period may be one week or the like. The reference period may be divided into at least one sub-period. The manner of division may include (1) a preset setting, for example, a day may be fixedly divided into 4 sub-periods: 22: 00-7: 00 is subinterval 1,7: 00-12: 00 is subinterval 2, 12:00-18:00 is subinterval 3, 18:00-22:00 is subinterval 4; or (2) according to the clustering algorithm, the time period when the data intensity and the number reach a certain threshold value can be identified, and the data in the time period is more representative without reducing calculation errors caused by small data quantity or dispersion. For example, starting time points (may be time points of starting in the foreground or may be time points of starting in the background) of all applications within 1 day may be recorded, the starting time points are aggregated into a plurality of time periods according to distances (such as time differences) between the time points, the earliest time point in a time period is taken as a starting point of the time period, the latest time point in the time period is taken as an ending point of the time period, and the time period may be determined. For specific algorithms, reference may be made to the following examples.
The current time information in the embodiment of the invention is the current time and may include at least one of a year, a month, a day, a week and a time. For example: 11.11.16.2014: 00, or tuesday 8:00. the content that the current time information should contain may be determined according to the division of the user usage pattern and the reference period, and the current time information may be used at least to determine the correspondence with one of the above sub-patterns and one of the sub-periods. For example, if the sub-pattern is divided by day of the week, the sub-period is divided by hour of the week, and the current time information should contain information of day of the week and hour of the week. If the current time information can be obtained by reading clock information in the mobile terminal or from a server.
The application use information in the embodiment of the invention is used for determining which applications and how to manage.
Optionally, in one embodiment, the application usage information includes only an application identifier, where the application identifier is used to identify the application, and by using this identifier, it can determine which application is, and the application identifier may be information such as a name, a number, or the like of the application, which is not limited in this invention. The method can be set to perform preloading operation on the application identified by the application identifier and perform closing operation on other applications except the application identified by the application identifier; the method can also be set to perform closing operation on the application identified by the application identifier and perform opening operation on other applications except the application identified by the application identifier. Other applications here may belong to a list of applications (either running or preset) of settings, which list of applications is made up of the other applications and the applications identified by the application's identification. It will be appreciated that the method of determining the identity of the application may be referred to in the detailed description of the embodiments.
In this case, the correspondence of the usage information of at least one application with the user life pattern and the reference period of the mobile terminal may be represented by one example shown in the following table:

Optionally, in one embodiment, the usage information of the application includes an identifier of the application and an operation identifier corresponding to the application. For example, the usage information of the application may include an identifier of the application 1, an identifier of the opening operation corresponding to the application 1, an identifier of the application 2, and an identifier of the closing operation corresponding to the application 2.
In this case, the correspondence of the usage information of the application to the user life pattern of the mobile terminal and the reference period may be represented by one example shown in the following table:

Optionally, in an embodiment, the usage information of the application includes an identification of the application, and further includes: the number of starts of the application per sub-mode and per sub-period, and/or the run time of the application per sub-mode and per sub-period. For example, application a, turn on number 2, use time 60 minutes long. Another example is application B, number of starts 4.
In this case, the correspondence between the usage information applied in the embodiment of the present invention and the user life pattern and the reference period of the mobile terminal may be represented by an example shown in the following table:

It will be appreciated that the usage information of the application may also include other information, such as an identification of the application and the number of times the application is closed, or include: the identity of the application, the value of the use parameter P of the application, etc., to which the present invention is not limited.
It should be noted that, the correspondence between the usage information of at least one application and the life mode and the reference period of the user of the mobile terminal stores the usage information of each sub-mode and the application corresponding to each sub-period, and the correspondence may be a table or other format, and the implementation manner does not limit the present invention. In addition, although at least one application is installed in the mobile terminal, the usage information of the installed applications is not necessarily stored in the correspondence relation, and whether the usage information of one application is stored in the correspondence relation depends on the usage condition of the application, and specific reference may be made to the specific embodiments given later. For example, 20 applications are installed in the mobile terminal, and the correspondence between the usage information of at least one application and the user life pattern and the reference period of the mobile terminal may include only 5 of the usage information of more-used applications, or the correspondence may include only 4 of the usage information of more-used applications and 5 of the usage information of less-used applications.
The number of times of starting the application in the embodiment of the present invention may refer to the number of times of starting the application in the foreground, or the number of times of starting the application in the background, and may be selected as required when the application is specifically implemented.
The running time of the application in the embodiment of the invention can refer to the time between starting the application from the foreground and closing the application for the first time after the current foreground is started; the duration between the starting of the application from the background and the first closing after the starting of the background can be selected according to the requirement in specific implementation.
Alternatively, if an application is not started in both sub-mode two and sub-period two, the number of starts and the running time of the application one may be recorded as 0, and then, with reference to the method described in the subsequent embodiment, it is determined whether the application one is the application that uses less in the sub-mode two and sub-period two. Alternatively, the application one may be directly used as the application with less usage in the sub-mode two and the sub-period two or the application to be turned off.
The embodiment of the invention provides a method for managing applications, which is used for a mobile terminal, wherein at least one application is installed in the mobile terminal. The execution subject of the method may be a mobile terminal or a processor in a mobile terminal. As shown in fig. 1, the method includes:
101. And storing the corresponding relation between the use information of the at least one application and a user life mode of the mobile terminal and a reference period, wherein the user life mode comprises at least one sub-mode, and the reference period comprises at least one sub-period.
The storing in step 101 includes generating the correspondence for the first time, and updating the existing correspondence, or may be storing in the mobile terminal after receiving the correspondence sent by a device other than the mobile terminal. The triggering condition of step 101 may be various, for example, the user may trigger a management button, or select a management option, or the mobile terminal enters a specific mode (such as a mode of automatically managing an application), etc. Step 101 may also be performed periodically.
102. And acquiring current time information.
Step 102 may be performed after the user activates a management button or selects a management option. The current time information may also be obtained in real time during a period of time, which may be set by the user, recommended by the manufacturer of the mobile terminal, the manufacturer of the application, etc., or set in other ways.

And according to the current time information, a corresponding sub-mode and sub-period can be acquired. Taking Table 1 as an example, if the current time is Tuesday 10:00, then sub-mode one and sub-period one correspond.

105. And determining the application corresponding to the current time information according to the use information of the application corresponding to the current time information, and managing the application corresponding to the current time information.
As previously described, the usage information of the application may be an identification of the application; or an application identifier and a corresponding operation identifier; or an identification of an application, further comprising: the number of starts of the application per sub-mode and per sub-period, and/or the run time of the application per sub-mode and per sub-period. According to the application use information corresponding to the current time information, what operation is executed on which application can be determined.
In step 105, the mobile terminal may automatically manage the application corresponding to the current time information immediately after determining the application corresponding to the current time information, without operations such as manual selection and confirmation by the user.
According to the method for managing the application, provided by the embodiment of the invention, the corresponding application is determined to manage according to the current time information, the life mode and the reference time period of the user of the mobile terminal, so that the application management is simpler and more convenient, the application management is more in line with the use habit of the user, the operations such as manual selection and confirmation of the user are not needed, and the interaction capability of the mobile terminal is enhanced.
Optionally, as shown in fig. 2, before step 101 of the method of the present embodiment, the method further includes:
1001. and counting the geographic position information of the mobile terminal in a first time period, and dividing a second time period into at least one sub-mode according to the geographic position information, wherein the first time period is greater than or equal to the second time period.
Referring to the previous explanation of the user life pattern, the second time period may also be divided before 101 to obtain the user life pattern. If the life mode of the user is divided according to the geographic position information of the mobile terminal, the life rule of the user is reflected to a certain extent, and the application management method of the embodiment of the invention can better meet the requirements of the user and enhance the interaction capability of the terminal.
Optionally, in an implementation manner, as shown in fig. 2, before step 101 of the method of the present embodiment, the method further includes:

Step 1002 may be implemented as follows: and recording information such as starting time points and application identifiers of the applications in a plurality of third time periods (such as a plurality of days) in each sub-mode, and clustering the recorded starting time points of the applications by adopting a clustering algorithm. Clustering algorithms typically utilize distance relationships between data to classify. Taking each starting time point of each application recorded as one data, if the same application is started for multiple times, the starting time points can be respectively calculated as multiple data, and the time difference between the two time points is taken as the distance of the data, for example, the distance between 8:30 and 7:50 is 40 minutes. According to the data and the distance between the data, the time periods with dense data in the third time period are distinguished according to a clustering algorithm, the starting time point of the application with the earliest starting time in the time periods is taken as the starting point of the time period, the starting time point of the application with the latest starting time in the time period is taken as the ending point of the time period, and the time period is determined and can be taken as a subperiod. According to step 1002, the entire third time period may be only one sub-period, alternatively, the third time period may be divided into at least two consecutive sub-periods, or may be divided into at least two discontinuous sub-periods, which is not limited in this invention.
In step 1003, the third period may be divided according to a preset setting, not according to the use case of the application. For example, a day may be divided into 8:00-12:00, 12:00-14:00, 14:00-18:00, 18:00-23:00, 23:00-8:00 sub-periods. Alternatively, in one embodiment, the division may be performed in other ways. According to step 1002, the entire third time period may be only one sub-period, alternatively, the third time period may be divided into at least two consecutive sub-periods, or may be divided into at least two discontinuous sub-periods, which is not limited in this invention.
Optionally, in an embodiment, step 105 includes determining, according to the use information of the application corresponding to the current time information, an application corresponding to the current time information, and obtaining a current state of the application corresponding to the current time information; and managing the application corresponding to the current time information according to the use information of the application corresponding to the current time information and the current state of the application corresponding to the current time information.
What applications are managed can be determined according to the usage information of the applications, so that the applications to be managed can be determined according to the usage information of the applications, and further, the current state of the applications to be managed can be obtained, so that the applications to be managed can be properly managed.
Optionally, in an embodiment, according to the usage information of the application corresponding to the current time information and the current state of the application corresponding to the current time information, managing the application corresponding to the current time information may include at least one of:

The embodiment (3) provides a method for determining which applications and what operations need to be performed based on the use conditions before the applications, and because the use duration, the starting times and other data representing the use habits of the users are adopted in the determination process, the determination result is closer to the needs of the users, and the interaction capability of the mobile terminal is enhanced.

Claims (19)

1. A terminal for managing applications, characterized in that the terminal comprises a processor and a memory for storing a computer program;
the processor is configured to execute the computer program to cause the terminal to perform:
according to user operation, storing a first mode, a first period and a corresponding relation of application use information corresponding to the first mode, wherein the application comprises a first application, the application use information comprises the application use information of the first application, the application use information of the first application comprises an identification of the first application and a first operation identification corresponding to the first application, the first operation identification comprises a closing identification, and the first application is installed on the terminal;
acquiring current time information of the terminal;
determining the use information of the first application corresponding to the current time information according to the current time information, the first mode, the first period and the corresponding relation of the use information of the application corresponding to the first mode;
and automatically closing the first application according to the identification of the first application and the first operation identification corresponding to the first application.
2. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the processor is further configured to execute the computer program to cause the terminal to perform:
setting the first mode, the first period and the use information of the first application corresponding to the first mode.
3. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the processor is further configured to execute the computer program to cause the terminal to perform: setting an operation identifier corresponding to the first application.

A terminal according to any of claims 1-3, wherein the processor is further configured to execute the computer program to cause the terminal to perform: the application further comprises a second application, the application use information further comprises the second application use information, the second application use information comprises an identifier of the second application and a second operation identifier corresponding to the second application, and the second operation identifier comprises an opening identifier.
5. The terminal of claim 4, wherein the processor is further configured to execute the computer program to cause the terminal to perform: determining the use information of the second application corresponding to the current time information according to the current time information, the first mode, the first period and the corresponding relation of the use information of the application corresponding to the first mode;
And starting the second application according to the identifier of the second application and the second operation identifier corresponding to the second application.

The method of any one of claims 7-9, wherein the method further comprises: the application further comprises a second application, the application use information further comprises the second application use information, the second application use information comprises an identifier of the second application and a second operation identifier corresponding to the second application, and the second operation identifier comprises an opening identifier.

The method of claim 10, wherein the method further comprises: determining the use information of the second application corresponding to the current time information according to the current time information, the first mode, the first period and the corresponding relation of the use information of the application corresponding to the first mode;
and starting the second application according to the identifier of the second application and the second operation identifier corresponding to the second application.

13. The method of any of claims 7-9, wherein the first period of time comprises at least one sub-period.
14. A computer readable storage medium comprising instructions which, when run on a terminal, cause the terminal to perform the method of any of claims 7-13.
