A fifth embodiment of the present invention is specifically described. In this embodiment, in addition to any of the above embodiments, data transmission with an external device is added. The differences between the present embodiment and any of the above embodiments are emphasized below, and the description of the same or similar matters as those of any of the above embodiments is omitted in the present embodiment. Further, an example of modification of the first embodiment will be described below.
First, the structure of the electronic device 1D of the present embodiment will be described. Fig. 10 is a block diagram of an electronic device 1D according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 10, the electronic device 1D further includes a data transmission unit 90 in addition to the electronic device 1 of the first embodiment.
The data transmission section 90 is used for transmitting data between the electronic apparatus 1D and an external device. The external device is, for example, a mobile terminal, a server, or the like, and the data transmission unit 90 may be a wired transmission system such as USB, or a wireless transmission system such as bluetooth or network communication.
A specific example of the priority application determination method executed by the electronic device 1D of the present embodiment will be described below. Fig. 11 is a flowchart of a specific example 1 of a priority application determination method according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention.
When the destination is set by the destination setting unit 10 in step S101, step S201 is executed, and the data transmission unit 90 of the electronic apparatus 1D transmits a destination type acquisition request to the external device. The destination type acquisition request may request the external device to transmit the correspondence between the location and the location type. Alternatively, the destination type acquisition request requests the external device to transmit the set destination and requests the external device to transmit the destination type.
Next, the external device (for example, a mobile terminal or a server) executes step S202 to transmit feedback information to the electronic apparatus 1D. The feedback information may be different depending on the content of the destination type acquisition request of the electronic device 1D, and may be transmitted in association with the destination type of the destination or may be transmitted directly.
Next, the destination type obtaining unit 20 of the electronic device 1D obtains the destination type of the destination set by the destination setting unit 10 based on the feedback information of the external device. The subsequent steps S103 to S105 are the same as those described in the first embodiment by using fig. 2, and are not described here.
Thus, by acquiring the destination location type from the external device in real time, the electronic device 1D does not need to store location type data, and can reduce the required storage capacity, acquire the location type updated by the external device in real time, and ensure timeliness of the location type.
Fig. 12 is a flowchart of a specific example 2 of a priority application determination method according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention. The steps S101 to S102 are the same as those described in the first embodiment by using fig. 2, and are not described here.
When the destination type acquisition unit 20 acquires the destination type in step S102, the data transmission unit 90 of the electronic apparatus 1D executes step S203 to transmit an application type determination request to the external device. The application type determination request may request the external device to transmit the correspondence between the location type of the destination and the application type. Alternatively, the application type determination requests the external device to transmit the acquired destination location type, and requests the external device to transmit an application type corresponding to the destination location type.
Next, the external device (for example, a mobile terminal or a server) executes step S204 to transmit feedback information to the electronic apparatus 1D. The feedback information may be different depending on the content of the application type determination request of the electronic device 1D, and may be transmitted in association with the application type, or may be directly transmitted in association with the application type.
Next, the application type specifying unit 30 of the electronic device 1D specifies the application type corresponding to the destination location type based on the feedback information of the external device. The subsequent steps S104 to S105 are the same as those described in the first embodiment by using fig. 2, and are not described here.
Thus, by determining the application type corresponding to the destination location type from the external device in real time, the electronic device 1D does not need to store the correspondence relation between the location type and the application type, and can reduce the required storage capacity, acquire the application type corresponding to the real-time update of the external device, and ensure timeliness of the application type.
The above-described specific example 1 of the present embodiment may be combined with the fourth embodiment. That is, the electronic device obtains the destination point type through data transfer with the external device, and then determines the application type corresponding to the destination point type through the correspondence relationship stored therein.
Alternatively, the above-described specific example 2 of the present embodiment may be combined with the third embodiment. That is, the electronic device obtains the destination point type from the internally stored point type data, and then determines the application type corresponding to the destination point type from the data transfer to the external device.
Alternatively, both of the above-described specific examples 1 and 2 of the present embodiment may be combined. Furthermore, both of the above-described specific examples 1 and 2 of the present embodiment may be combined with both of the third embodiment and the fourth embodiment. For example, the above-described specific examples 1 and 2 of the present embodiment are applied to the case where the data transmission condition of the data transmission unit 90 is normal, the destination point type is acquired by data transmission with the external device, and the application type corresponding to the destination point type is determined, and the third and fourth embodiments are applied to the case where the data transmission condition of the data transmission unit 90 is poor or disconnected, the destination point type is acquired by the internally stored point type data, and the application type corresponding to the destination point type is determined by the internally stored correspondence relation.
(sixth embodiment)
A sixth embodiment of the present invention is specifically described. In this embodiment, priority application recommendation downloading is added to any of the above embodiments. The differences between the present embodiment and any of the above embodiments are emphasized below, and the description of the same or similar matters as those of any of the above embodiments is omitted in the present embodiment. Further, an example of modification of the first embodiment will be described below.
First, the structure of the electronic device 1E of the present embodiment will be described. Fig. 13 is a block diagram of an electronic device 1E according to a sixth embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 13, the electronic device 1E further includes a priority application detecting unit 100 and a priority application recommendation downloading unit 110 in addition to the electronic device 1 of the first embodiment.
The priority application detecting section 100 detects whether the priority application determined by the priority application determining section 40 is currently available on the electronic apparatus 1E. The electronic device 1E may be used by being mounted on the electronic device 1E, or may be used by being mounted on a portable device, for example, and by being mounted on the electronic device 1E by smart interconnection technology such as Carlife or Carplay.
The priority application recommendation downloading unit 110 recommends the user to download the priority application when the priority application detecting unit 100 detects that the priority application is currently unavailable in the electronic apparatus 1E. For example, the priority application recommendation downloading unit 110 may recommend that the user download the priority application to the electronic apparatus 1E, or recommend that the user download the priority application to the portable device and use the priority application on the electronic apparatus 1E by using an intelligent interconnection technology such as Carlife or Carplay.
Thus, in the case where the priority application is currently unavailable to the electronic apparatus 1E, by recommending the user to download the priority application, the user can be prevented from searching for the application by himself and performing a complicated download operation.
In addition, in the case where the present embodiment is modified from the second embodiment or the like, the screen generating unit 50 of the present embodiment may display characters/icons of the application recommended for download by the priority application recommendation downloading unit 110 in a unique display manner on the application selection screen so as to recommend the user for download. For example, an icon or the like recommending a downloaded application may be displayed with a dashed border. Alternatively, the user may be prompted in text or voice to download the priority application to the application store. Thus, the user can easily recognize the priority application of the recommended download, and convenience is further improved.
(seventh embodiment)
A seventh embodiment of the present invention is specifically described. In this embodiment, the number of application types corresponding to the location type is increased in addition to any of the above embodiments. The differences between the present embodiment and any of the above embodiments are emphasized below, and the description of the same or similar matters as those of any of the above embodiments is omitted in the present embodiment. The structure of the electronic device of this embodiment may be the same as that of any of the above embodiments, and will not be described here.
Fig. 14 is a schematic diagram showing an example of the preferential application of the seventh embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 14, in the case where the destination is "C zoo", the place category of the destination includes "child place" and "sightseeing place". The place category "child place" corresponds to the application category "child", and the place category "sightseeing place" corresponds to the application category "ticket offer" and "attraction introduction". That is, there are a plurality of application types corresponding to the destination point type. In this case, the priority application determining unit 40 determines an application having at least one of the plurality of application types as a priority application, and assigns priorities to the plurality of application types, respectively, thereby assigning priorities to the plurality of priority applications, respectively.
In the example of fig. 14, the priority application determining unit 40 determines applications (nursery rhyme play, baby carriage lease, ticket reservation, and scenic spot information) having application categories such as "child", "ticket offer", and "scenic spot introduction", as priority applications, and gives priority to the application categories such as "child", "ticket offer", and "scenic spot introduction", respectively. Here, priority may be given to the application type according to the use frequency, use urgency, and the like of the application type. For example, since the application type "child" has the highest urgency of use, the priority application determining section 40 gives the highest priority to the application type "child". In this way, applications "nursery rhyme play" and "bassinet rental" are given high priority, facilitating the user's selection of these applications that are urgently needed for utilization.
Thus, when there are a plurality of application types corresponding to the destination point type, it is possible to further facilitate the user in selecting an application of an application type having a high possibility of being used by giving priority to the plurality of application types.
(eighth embodiment)
An eighth embodiment of the present invention is specifically described. The present embodiment further describes a case of using an application installed in another device such as a mobile terminal, in addition to any of the above embodiments. The differences between the present embodiment and any of the above embodiments are emphasized below, and the description of the same or similar matters as those of any of the above embodiments is omitted in the present embodiment. Further, an example of modification of the first embodiment will be described below.
First, the priority application determination system of the present embodiment will be described. Fig. 15 is a block diagram of the configuration of a priority application determination system according to an eighth embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 15, the priority application determination system of the present embodiment includes an electronic device 1 and a portable terminal 2. The electronic device 1 and the portable terminal 2 are connected by an intelligent interconnection technology such as Carlife, carplay. By wired or wireless connection based on these technologies, applications installed in the mobile terminal 2 such as a smart phone can be directly utilized in the electronic device 1 such as a navigation device of a vehicle.
However, in the portable terminal 2 such as a smart phone, a large number of applications are generally installed and utilized. In the operating environment of the portable terminal 2, even if there is no problem in selecting a desired application from among a large number of applications, in the case of using the portable terminal 2 in the electronic device 1 such as a navigation device, if it takes a lot of time for the user to select an application on the electronic device 1 side, it is very dangerous to easily cause distraction during driving. In contrast, by applying the embodiments of the present invention, the time spent by the user in selecting the application can be reduced, and the driving safety of the user can be greatly improved.
Among the applications installed in the electronic device 1 and/or the applications installed in the mobile terminal 2, the priority application determining unit 40 of the electronic device 1 may determine an application having the application type determined by the application type determining unit 30 as a priority application. One specific example is described below. Fig. 16 is a diagram showing a specific example of an application selection screen before and after inputting a destination according to the eighth embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 16, on the application selection screen of the electronic apparatus 1, the application mounted on the electronic apparatus 1 is indicated by a thick frame, and the application mounted on the portable terminal 2 is indicated by a thin frame. After setting the destination "a restaurant", the application "restaurant discount" of the application type "restaurant" installed in the electronic apparatus 1 and the application "restaurant group purchase" of the application type "restaurant" installed in the portable terminal 2 are determined as priority applications, and the arrangement order thereof is advanced.
In this way, when the electronic device 1 uses an application installed in another device such as the mobile terminal 2, it is possible to determine a priority application for both the application installed in the electronic device 1 itself and the application installed in another device such as the mobile terminal 2, and convenience is further improved.
In the present embodiment, the electronic device 1 and the mobile terminal 2 may determine a priority application among the applications installed in the respective devices according to the set destination. At this time, both the electronic apparatus 1 and the portable terminal 2 can be regarded as the electronic apparatus in the present invention.

Claims (8)

1. An electronic device capable of using a plurality of applications, comprising:
a destination setting section for setting a destination according to a user input;
a destination type acquisition unit configured to acquire a location type of the destination set by the destination setting unit;
an application type specifying unit that specifies an application type corresponding to the destination point type acquired by the destination type acquiring unit; and
a priority application specifying unit that specifies an application having the application type specified by the application type specifying unit as a priority application, presents the application of the application type corresponding to the destination location type to a user as a priority application,
the electronic device further includes: a data transmission section for transmitting data between the electronic apparatus and an external device;
when a destination is set by the destination setting unit, the data transmission unit transmits a destination type acquisition request to an external device, and the destination type acquisition unit acquires the destination type of the destination set by the destination setting unit based on feedback information of the external device,
When the destination type acquiring unit acquires the destination type based on the feedback information of the external device, the data transmitting unit transmits an application type specifying request to the external device, and the application type specifying unit specifies an application type corresponding to the destination type based on the feedback information of the external device.
2. The electronic device according to claim 1, further comprising:
a screen generating unit that generates an application selection screen including characters and/or icons corresponding to applications, wherein the characters and/or icons corresponding to the priority applications are preferentially displayed or highlighted in the application selection screen as compared with the characters and/or icons corresponding to other applications; and
and a display unit configured to display the application selection screen generated by the screen generating unit.
3. The electronic device according to claim 1, further comprising:
a location type storage unit for storing location type data in which a location and a location type are associated;
the destination type obtaining unit obtains the destination type of the destination set by the destination setting unit based on the destination type data stored in the destination type storage unit.
4. The electronic device according to claim 1, further comprising:
a correspondence relation storage unit for storing a correspondence relation in which a location type and an application type are associated with each other;
the application type determining unit determines an application type corresponding to the destination point type acquired by the destination type acquiring unit based on the correspondence stored in the correspondence storage unit.
5. The electronic device according to claim 1, further comprising:
a priority application detection unit configured to detect whether the priority application determined by the priority application determination unit is currently available on the electronic device; and
and a priority application recommendation downloading unit configured to recommend a user to download the priority application when the priority application detection unit detects that the priority application is currently unavailable on the electronic device.
6. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein,
when there are a plurality of application types of the application types corresponding to the destination location type determined by the application type determining section, the priority application determining section determines an application having at least one application type among the plurality of application types as a priority application and gives priority to each of the plurality of application types, thereby giving priority to each of the plurality of priority applications.
7. The electronic device according to any one of claim 1 to 6, wherein,
the electronic device, when connected to a portable terminal, can utilize an application installed in the portable terminal,
the priority application determining unit determines, as a priority application, an application having the application type determined by the application type determining unit among applications installed in the electronic device and/or applications installed in the portable terminal.
8. A priority application determining method for determining a priority application from among a plurality of applications available on an electronic device, comprising:
a destination setting step of setting a destination according to a user input;
a destination type obtaining step of obtaining the destination type set in the destination setting step;
an application type specifying step of specifying an application type corresponding to the destination point type acquired by the destination type acquiring step; and
a priority application determining step of determining an application having the application category determined by the application category determining step as a priority application to prompt the user with the application of the application category corresponding to the location category of the destination as a priority application,
The electronic device further includes: a data transmission section for transmitting data between the electronic apparatus and an external device;
when a destination is set in the destination setting step, the data transmission unit transmits a destination type acquisition request to an external device, the destination type acquisition step acquires the destination type of the destination set in the destination setting step based on feedback information of the external device,
when the destination type acquiring step acquires the destination type based on the feedback information of the external device, the data transmitting unit transmits an application type specifying request to the external device, and the application type specifying step specifies an application type corresponding to the destination type based on the feedback information of the external device.
